641  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt Default: Good or bad for crypto? on: June 09, 2023, 01:24:17 PM

What do you think? Is a US default good or bad for crypto in the short term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

In the short term it seems highly likely that this situation will have a positive effect on the cryptocurrency markets. The reason for this was that although decentralized structures may actually seem reliable they can fail in some difficult conditions in this way. In addition, although the inability of a state with a reserve currency to pay this debt will predominantly undermine the confidence in the country's economy it will certainly have an impact on fiat currencies. Still I don't think cryptocurrencies will appreciate too much or quickly gain a stronger place in the market in such a case. Even though I haven't been following the news very closely for the last few days, I saw that this situation didn't have much of an impact on the markets.

What's your say on this?

I certainly don't support either of them because I don't think either is arguable. Although the SEC is a very powerful organization it often uses this authoritarian power to control and manipulate the markets according to it's own wishes. CZ, on the other hand, is person who makes an effort to show that he is a good man but is actually an individual who directs the cryptocurrency markets and manipulates very seriously in this market. In other words we can say that both of them have similar characteristics.

If we need to look at the positive side it will only be possible to say the following;

The SEC is a very beneficial organization so that small investors don't disappear and are less crushed in the market. Of course, it should not go without mentioning the fact that it is an institution with many disadvantages for small investors.

CZ, on the other hand, is an individual who has put a lot of effort into the development of cryptocurrency markets and reaching a wider target audience.

In other words, although the person and institution in question have benefits for investors it should not be forgotten that both are not completely optimistic.

Furthermore, I told them that Bitcoin investors tend to get positive results, while online casino gamblers tend to get negative results more than positive result, true or false?

I asked them to show me prove that they make more from gambling than they lose, none of them showed me, but I prove to them that I hardly have losses investing in Bitcoin lol .

Famz, drop your opinion on this, would you categorize these two as gambling? Because the only winning factor from Bitcoin investment is to just buy low and wait for a high price, it's not the same with casinos. Am I not making sense? I will like to hear from you.

I definitely think your friends are being unfair and not making an accurate comparison. As proof of this, they never show more gains than losses. Cryptocurrencies are an investment tool just like commodities and stocks and as with any investment they only involve investment risk. The only review that can be made for cryptocurrencies as "gambling" is to trade with leverage only because of the high risk but it should be remembered that leveraged transactions are a method used in all financial assets. For this reason, I can easily state that cryptocurrencies trading and gambling games are not similar and it is wrong to consider both as gambling. The theory that your friends have stated in no way makes sense and has no logical explanation.
644  Local / Türkçe (Turkish) / Re: 12 tane cüzdan kelimelerinin hepsiyle cüzdan açılınca ne yapılacak on: June 09, 2023, 09:23:38 AM

645  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is never enough! on: June 09, 2023, 08:02:35 AM
Think of when you hit a jackpot, and some cool cash slide into your pocket, you feels better and step up some pride and involved arrogance, you feel like you can buy the world with your peanuts lol, bro, I little shopping out of it can makes you look like a poor man again. There is this oil dealer guy in my community who happen to be hot market pro in the oil industry, he owns an oil well but this guy it gets to his head and start contesting for political power which he has lose twice now and the worst of it now is that the oil well is dried because suck the money into politics, loss everything. This money is never really enough, no wonder even the President of nations still fights to get money after office.
there are those who are really greedy for money so they try to keep getting money even though they already have a lot, but there are also those who are really honest about working but the money keeps coming to them, there is even the term "people are glorified because of money and are despised because of money"
it's not wrong to make as much money as possible because indeed in this era all people in the world are driven by money (without money how do you eat and meet your and your family's needs every day) but don't be greedy for that because everyone has been given their own portion.

This is not sure but this only a true and we must have principles within us. A mind that is firm and does not pay too much attention to others. Focusing on our personal lives can also prevent us from getting carried away and There are many people involved in politics but they know the right way to spend money and they also know how to make it back, but unfortunately your friend is doing something much more stupid than we know and While financial stability is important to meet our basic needs and provide a sense of security, it is essential to realize that there are limits to the role of money in our overall health.

Health problems wont really be that much of a concern if you do have the money but we know that there are diseases or illness which money couldnt be able to solve it out which means that there's still that imposed risks. We are talking about being not contented on what you do currently have despite on earning big on which you would be finding another venture to make your influence and power would be recognized and since
you do have the money then  you would really be definitely considering on running on politics on which we know that once we do place ourselves into those positions then it would really be that significant on where
you could possibly be able to make more money but of course in an illegal manner on which its never been pleasing in the eyes. We know that corruption has been a typical thing on which
they might be thinking on pursuing such position to do such thing but on the time that money income source had been cut off then you would really be having a hard time on achieving such thing
but we know that voted electable would really be still depending on the community or into the people if you are really that worth to be placed on the position or not.

Certainly, for someone who has money some health problems are actually just problems that can be solved with a little expense but unfortunately some health problems cannot be solved with money. Today, health can be partially purchased with money.
Of course, there are various legal and illegal methods to earn more money but corruption or other similar ways will definitely not be a pleasant method. For this reason, although money is an eternal asset it is not very useful when it is earned by such methods because one day, of course, the source of the money earned through illegal methods will be discovered.
646  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your personal debt reduction method aside the debt snowball method? on: June 08, 2023, 02:51:52 PM
I have started to pay my debts in installments due to some financial problems I have experienced recently. When I make a profit from any transaction I switch it to cash for my debt regardless of big or small and when I get my salary I set aside money for my debt as like I was saving. Especially in the last two months I have completed almost 40% of my entire debt balance due to the use of this method and according to the plans I have made I will finish the remaining amount in the remaining 2 months.
I will definitely recommend that people with high debts use this method patiently because unfortunately it is not easy to arrange and pay the entire amount in one way or another. In addition, you can enter a vicious circle after making a payment at once.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 08, 2023, 12:38:44 PM
Yes, I often regretted when I started gambling for fun but then added some more money and lost more money than I had planned. But to make a general comment I don't regret that I gambled. This is due to the fact that I usually only gamble for fun with low budgets. As I mentioned, I rarely spend more than I planned when I gamble for fun and I only feel regret in such cases.
In my own way, I don't think anyone who gambles except in such exceptional circumstances should feel such remorse because gambling is a means of entertainment not a means of gain.

What is your honest take on bitcoin lending? Too risky, won't try it? Too risky, will give it a try?

Of course, it would be a risky option to borrow the existing Bitcoin balance by collateral and use this debt to trade because if the current positions are negative there will be a possibility of non-repayment of this debt and in such a case the balance shown as collateral will be taken in return for the debt. Moreover, in such a case an extra cost will be incurred as the interest on the debt will be paid in addition to the loss of the new transaction.
Giving existing Bitcoin savings as a loan will not be a risky situation because there are many trustable platforms where these transaction(s) can be made. With these platforms you can lend your Bitcoin savings as a loan and get the interest income with the lowest risk.
For this reason it would be more accurate to interpret whether it is risky to perform these transactions depending on which side you are on.
649  Local / Türkçe (Turkish) / Re: Trader'ların bitcoin üzerinde yarattığı saçma etki on: June 08, 2023, 08:45:48 AM

Kesinlikle katılıyorum, üstelik sadece trade alanında değil maalesef aklımıza gelebilecek hemen hemen her türlü alanda maalesef halkımız sadece birkaç video izleyerek uzman olduğunu düşünüyor.
Her neyse Smiley
650  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is never enough! on: June 08, 2023, 06:51:29 AM
but everyone needs money. but many people have the wrong definition of need. finally they make as much money as possible to accumulate wealth. In the end, many are motivated to want to have a lot of money. Unfortunately, the fate of people is different, in the end, some of them make it seem like they can't get anything if they don't have money, this is what causes a lot of money to be misused.
at this time everything needs money, and basically humans want to fulfill all their needs and desires in life so that indeed if you continue to want to fulfill your desires then money will never be enough for someone.
everyone wants a lot of money even though not all of them succeed, that's natural but everyone's ambition is the same.
and in my opinion it is not wrong to use money, fulfilling desires in life is a natural thing to satisfy yourself and also make yourself happy.

Money changes your perception in life. I agree that there are many desires and many things that people wanted to achieve.

With lots of money, they will be able to be satisfy those lusts and they will be able to enjoy, but same with
both of you, not all are capable and not are have that same fate. We will get what we invest in life, if
you are able to find the right path, then it will manifest and it will give you the directions where you may enjoy
your financial capabilities. All depends on how you successfully established your finances.

I totally agree, money is important thing that changes one's perspective on life. Having a lot of money also helps a person to get almost everything they want and be satisfied with it but it also shapes everyone's destiny depending on the way money is managed. For this reason, it is important that people develop themselves and pay attention to their personal development even if they have a lot of money. There is a very well sentence that I like;

“You reap what you sow.”

This is a very nice saying that states that one must make an effort to find the right path. I hope everyone gets what they've done for themselves in life and finds financial success that can make a lot of money.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: How do banks generate income? on: June 07, 2023, 02:22:46 PM
Banks generate income through different product and services like one of the primary ways is by lending money to customers at a higher interest rate than the rate at which they borrow money from other banks or the central bank. The difference in interest rates, known as interest rate spread allows banks to earn a profit on the loans they make. Banks also charge fees for various services such as account maintenance, ATM usage and wire transfer. Banks may invest their own funds in various financial instruments such as stocks, bonds and real estate to earn a profit on their investment. Some banks generate income by providing advisory services to clients or by offering insurance products.

Although the information you have given varies between countries but it is partially correct. The sources from which banks provide the largest flow of funds and money generally consist of savings provided by clients. In addition other options with high income are provided from the commissions obtained from the service fees offered as well as the income from the investments as you mentioned. Finally, considering that banks operate in the service sector, can you explain what you mean by the "product"?
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 07, 2023, 01:14:35 PM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.

I voted for "not to play" in the poll because in such a case it would be my choice to cash-out my existing cryptocurrencies and not gamble illegally.

In such a case it should not be forgotten that if a legal act is brought by the country, if the gambling service used does not pay your money within this process it will not be possible to make a complaint about this situation in any way.

On the other hand, I think it will be important to be informed about how long this restriction process will last because if this is a temporary restriction it would not make much sense to gamble illegally during this temporary period. For this reason I think it would be a good option to make a decision especially depending on the type and reason of the restriction.
653  Economy / Economics / Re: Will chatgpt really destroy the job market? on: June 07, 2023, 09:36:40 AM
Job competition in the future involves humans and AI technology. The presence of ChatGPT was the start that made many people worry about increasing unemployment. For companies, of course, the presence of AI technology is the best efficiency so that it is easier to achieve profits.

I totally agree, companies will definitely increase their AI usage rates in order to continue production more efficiently with less cost. Although this situation is something that will increase the efficiency of the company, unfortunately it has the potential to cause huge unemployment which poses a danger for people in many job groups. Moreover, if we consider that AI technology is in the development stage today both ChatGPT and other AI software will develop much more in the future and will be able to perform more serious operations compared to now. Although this is something that will contribute to production efficiency it will unfortunately cause people working in many occupational groups to lose their jobs.

* mortgage - using some billionaires account to buy housing properties and leasing them
* estate and lands with same patterns
* SMS alert charges
* Transfer charges
* Syphons dormant accounts or dead people accounts that are inactive with enough money in it.
* ATM and investment cards
* sales of currencies like dollar to naira
* preparation of international documents
* savings people's valuables like gold, certificate, court documents, WILLS, and so on.

As stated here, banks earn through various methods but the biggest source of income for banks is income from debt interests. This income method is provided from the interest difference that occurs after the deposits deposited in the savings accounts in the bank are transferred to individuals or businesses in need of money with a higher interest rate. In this way, individuals or companies that have savings and individuals and companies that need borrowed money can meet their needs reliably. This is the biggest source of income for every bank as I mentioned.
The biggest source of income for banks after this is obtained from the usage fees of the services offered by the banks. The commission income generated by these services offered to customers is also a method for banks to generate high amounts of income.
655  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: June 07, 2023, 06:38:55 AM
If it is necessary to interpret it as a percentage gain when invested, yes it is possible to earn more when more spend more. However, this is not true for every investment because not every investment is guaranteed to make a profit. If we assume that an investment earns a profit we can give an example as follows;

For example, let's say there is an investment opportunity with a 25% return and we invest 100 units. In this case the return on investment would be 25 units on a quantity basis. But let's say we invest 1,000 units for this investment opportunity. In this case, the return on investment will be 250 units on a quantity basis. So, spend more and get more is works in this scenario.

But there is also a scenario like this;

For example, let's say there is an investment with a 25% loss and we invest 100 units. In this case, the loss of the investment will be 25 units on the basis of quantity. However, let's assume that we invested 1,000 units for this investment. In this case the loss of the investment will be 250 units on the basis of quantity. So, more spend more wins will reverse here causing more losses.
No one ever intends to incur losses in any investment. The crux of your scenario lies in effectively managing the funds at hand, ensuring that significant investments also yield substantial profits. Experience and knowledge play vital roles when engaging in medium to high-risk investments. In fact, even a small amount of money can generate significant returns if you make accurate decisions.

If you seek a more certain outcome, the solution lies in low-risk investments. You can opt to deposit your funds in a bank's fixed deposit account. The larger the sum you deposit, the greater your earnings. This is because banks utilize a percentage-based system tied to the assets you hold.

Yes, no one invests thinking that they will make a loss when they make an investment but I think that especially short-medium term investors should always consider this. In fact, this it is something that supports the need to make transactions by calculating the risk factor both for all capital control and when all capital is divided into an investment(s). On the other hand, when an investment is definitely made experience and knowledge affect the return on investment and the way of the investment.
In the case of bank deposits with low investment risk that you mentioned here, the situation I mentioned in my previous message actually occurs. When such an investment is made the method of spend more and get more will work perfectly as return on investment will be made depending on the amount.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter ad sales down 59%, company valuation down 66% on: June 06, 2023, 01:17:43 PM
I don't think the news actually had much of a surprise because Twitter hasn't had much of a good start since it was acquired by Musk. Although I am not an advertiser on Twitter I do not know whether it is a problematic platform for advertisers but if it is a platform that constantly imposes unnecessary restrictions for advertisers it is quite normal to see a decrease in the number of advertisers. On the other hand, if the advertiser is not very satisfied with the ad performance I think this will cause a decrease in the number of ads because advertisers expect a sales return or conversion of the target audience from these ads. To make a general comment about the Twitter, I think that the loss of value will accelerate due to the decrease in its return.

To make a general review it is not possible to say that a single league provides a high probability or rate of winning. I think the most ideal league option to earn money in gambling with any league matches is the league you followed. In other words, the football league that you follow most often and have the most information about is actually the probability of winning. For this reason, I think it is appropriate to make such a suggestion instead of making a single league proposal here. To summarize briefly, the most lucrative football league in gambling is the football league you follow closely. It is not a private any football league.
