imho defaultrust needs a timeout... if someone hasnt logged in for a month(?) he should be removed (regardless of DT level) automatically
Some DT users go on vacation. It happens; you can't stop it. a month is a long time and most people i know do have internet on holiday. if its really a problem for someone he could just ask to be put back on the list again as soon as he gets home IMHO that would be pointless. Even if an account became unactive and then got sold to a new owner, the new owner could just ask to be placed back on DT. You're essentially just adding one more step to it.

anyone having problem opening the Forum today ? its very slow from my side
Not really. The forum is acting pretty normal for me; try and access a different website. Is it slow there?

do some reading, man. actually just see tomatocage's latest post and you'll find the deciding factor.
hmm. I guess this doesn't belong in meta also?
It's based on the forum, so I put it in meta. And sorry; I didn't really follow up on that thread so I didn't see TC's post. Thanks

I just noticed that he was removed from DT when I realized that turtlehurricane's rating went back to normal. I know there was a lot of controversy over QS lately; what sparked it?
And I'm going to have to say that despite QS's hot temper and actions recently, I am going to sorely miss the scam buster.

Hey, the payment has been a delayed for a while now. Is there an issue or is it always like this? I just joined so I wouldn't know.

What would it take to get the identities of who voted to be made public?
Most of the "Nothing" voters are probably either trolling, scammers, or new accounts solely created to vote for that option, so it wouldn't really do anything.

No problem. Also, you can't edit threads in Auction so the "Current Bid - Athertle" is going to have to stay there. You could always move the topic to Digital Goods, edit it, and move it back, but I don't think it'll be much of a problem.

I like the website. However, you might want to add an anti-adblock script; I noticed that the faucet simply doesn't pay out if you have adblock.

Also, when is the new forum launching...
When it's done. They're not going to answer that question, period.

Wrong section. Move it to the Auctions board.
However, I'll bid $1/0.004BTC.
Sorry, hopefully mods will move it now. Bid noted. You can move it yourself, I believe, in the bottom left hand corner. It should say "lock topic | move topic"; click on "move topic" and move it to the Auctions board.

It would have been no problem if I had know it upfront. I respect the greater good, but now it just comes falling from the sky. Paying for an account is not my thing. It would be something for scammers.
If you're going to have a good reputation here on the forum, you're going to become a higher ranked member anyways. Might as well do it now; you'll also be able to learn about the forum and members here. Becoming a Jr. Member isn't hard; you have 4 weeks to go. Take those 4 weeks to get to know BCT.

Forum times are different for everyone and this would still be available for me?
No, forum time is consistent throughout the board. I don't even think there is a timezone selector in the profile page. Doesn't matter if you're in Africa or Britain, forum time is the same.

Why do scammers even do this attempt anymore? It's so overused and just plain stupid. No one who has been in the lending section for a day will know not to loan to no collateral borrowers.
|
|
|
Just saying, just because you're a Hero Member doesn't mean people will blindly follow you and do a $3,000 trade with you. I would say you should do increment deals of ~$50 PayPal. (That's still very easily scammable so tbh you're going to have to probably use another payment gateway.)

I checked out your VCCs and I noticed that you have a lot of different cards that are branded with different companies (e.g. Facebook, PayPal, iTunes, etc.). Is the specific card only used for the specific brand?

Not suspicious, really. He could have sold all of his bitcoin and then realized that he needed 0.05 BTC, so now he's requesting a loan. His BCT collateral is (IMHO) worth more than the loan.

How much is he asking for it? If the price is over 0.15, I wouldn't buy it. Not many signature campaigns accept members with negative trust, so the ROI will be slow. Also, if the account has scammed for a lot of money, it will be hard to build reputation back up.
It's more like 0.05 BTC, max. Most signature campaigns do at least 50% off their rates; the ROI is going to be horrifically slow.
