641  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 12:55:09 AM
Investing in bitcoin is very uncertain. You never know when the price is up or down. But the good thing about this is no matter what the outcome, you enjoy investing.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: October 16, 2016, 02:22:10 PM
Gambling can both fix and wreck your life. It all depends on your strategy.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, Philippine-based crypto on: October 11, 2016, 01:35:31 PM
Want to take advantage of the price dip today at Pesobit's price so I put a small capital at the current price. Now hoping for a progress since looks like Ccex players takes profit.

No worries if it dips more since I have some extras to able to ride any possible scenario in PSB's price.
644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? on: October 11, 2016, 01:30:28 PM
It will take time to recover after the hack it's not manipulation but only market reaction to hackers in case they dump but now we can see price rising again $620/$630 and we'll see more rise over the next month or so hopefully.

This next movement could be due to the halving finally taking effect, fewer coins available on exchanges due to the miners block reward halving could = a nice price rise.
So it took three months for the halving effect to take place. Sheesh! Roll Eyes

Are you sick? Halving effect already take placed the moment it occurs.

So you are only basing for the bitcoin price as what should be the main result of the recent halving? You need some good learning here mate.
645  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 11, 2016, 08:49:04 AM
Even if it's fun and way more relaxing to earn bitcoin, I will still prefer a job and continue to pursue my passion. Earning in bitcoin is just a part time for me but it surely helps a lot to prevent me from getting broke.  Cheesy
646  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 11, 2016, 08:43:51 AM
I believe there are lot of people from my country who knows bitcoin already. The evidence is clearly seen in this site. But still most or majority of our country's population is not familiar with it, or worst, have no idea what it really is.
647  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: October 11, 2016, 08:35:32 AM
I still prefer to receive my salary in "real money". Yes it's nice to think receiving your income in btc because it's cool but majority of my country is not yet familiar with bitcoin so it will be hard to avail stuffs and goods from the market.
648  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which profession do you like most? on: October 11, 2016, 08:30:28 AM
I always dream of becoming a writer. As an introvert, I can easily express myself through writing. I want to write a book and publish it someday. I want to blog and earn income from it. I want to write to reach out and inspire people. I may feel that I'm still far from my dream right now but I will never stop believing.  Smiley
649  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: October 11, 2016, 08:23:04 AM
I won't convince you to believe further on bitcoin because it's all up to you. This is risky. If you're brave enough, then go. I've experienced this before, I just go with my instincts. From then on, I always believe in the power of bitcoin even if sometimes it dissapoints me. It goes up, it goes down. Change is constant.
650  Other / Off-topic / Re: The First Thing You Bought? on: October 11, 2016, 03:17:33 AM
I can't remember definitely the first time I bought or what did I do with the money I earn from my first cash out in  bitcoin. But surely I invested it to important matters like home care appliances, medical needs, food (very important  Grin) and some other stuffs I need. Guess I can say I'm wise enough to spend my money/ savings.
651  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you tell in public that you use bitcoin? on: October 11, 2016, 12:28:20 AM
It is a hard thing to explain to the normal person. It also is not something in my life that come up at all beside to the few people that come over and see a wallet or an exchange or something on my browser's.
Bitcoin /blockchain/cryptocoins are a very hard thing to explain to most people

It's really hard to explain when you share it to public and to your family and friends. But when they found out how awesome and convenient bitcoins are, surely they won't hesitate to know more about this. Yes it does really takes time for a person to understand bitcoin system but eventually they will. There just like us dying of curiosity and now playing our part in the world of bitcoin.
652  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: English Posting on: October 10, 2016, 03:02:20 PM
Hirap kasi basahin , nakakawalang ganang mag post.

I agree with this. Apologies for I prefer to post this in English since as mentioned above, signature campaigns have strict rules on your post. Wherein posts must be in English and contents are informative. Since I am only a newbie and don't have an experience on signature campaigns yet, I want my posts to comply with most of the rules of the campaigns so it won't be difficult for me to join. Also this may serve as a practice for me to improve my English and to have constructive posts.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: October 10, 2016, 02:48:50 PM
its kinda hard to quit gambling, i quit esport match betting 2 months ago,  but right on today, i am betting again on matches.

So i would say, mindset, is important if wanted to quit for real Smiley

gambling once in awhile after you successfuly quit gambling for me, is ok. as long as you are not playing much than you ever need, then it is fine. You just play for entertainment and not heavily betting. Just small amount of money sometimes and not betting regularly. The beginning of addiction is building up habit of doing certain thing.

Consider quitting gambling for good if you have some other things or hobby you may want to focus with that will also help you to gain money or income. Think of something you're good at and find ways to make a living from it. Always keep in mind that money you earn through your hardwork, perseverance, talent and skills is incomparable with the easy way on how you can earn it through gambling. Set your mindset right. Discipline yourself and learn to be content.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling. on: October 10, 2016, 02:39:33 PM
I think this question was already asked here so many times, and it was really like keep on looping and looping. Well, I'm going to answer your question anyways. I know that quitting gambling is not that easy because you've already lost so many things to it, like your bitcoins and money, the only one reason to quit gambling is that you have to be dedicated on quitting it with all of your heart. Think yourself what would happen if you will not going to stop gambling, do you have a good future on it? I know that you already know the answer for yourself.

yeah the answers are all pretty much the same from the start. even if people around you are all trying to help, it would depend if you really want to quit because if you're that determined, even if it's hard, your determination would push you to do everything to quit. so it really would boil down to how badly you want to quit

Also you may want to surround yourself with people who had the same struggle as yours, or anyone who has already overcome his/ her addiction to gambling. These people will surely help and encourage you to stop if you are truly willing to defeat this addiction of yours.
655  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: October 10, 2016, 10:12:19 AM
Saving money is not easy. It requires discipline and strong conviction that you will save your income, work hard on your job to increase your savings and live a life in accordance with the amount your earning. It really takes time and lots of patience.
656  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing with Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2016, 10:02:41 AM
I will keep most bitcoin I have. because I believe that the price will be very high bitcoin once in the future. it will make me benefit a lot.

I agree with you. I am actually trying to earn more bitcoins. The more I earn, the more convince I am to keep it for future use because yes prices will increase higher as time flies. But there are times I needed to cash it out if I am badly in need, or to have extra cash in hand. It all really depends on your strategy on how to keep and multiply it's value. Indeed, this is way too risky.
Salamat.

Usually per month I earn around 0.2 btc or it's around 6k pesos. You can earn higher depending on how active you are to participate in every bitcoin related campaigns. There are lot of campaigns you can participate in that offers high amount of btc. It's up to you on how motivated you are to reach your desire amount to earn per month.
658  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: October 10, 2016, 09:12:17 AM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.

We can't avoid financial shortage but we can find ways to still earn and save thru bitcoins especially, as you have mentioned, you're in a desperate need. Well this is not an easy money. You need to thrive hard and most importantly expand your knowledge in the bitcoin industry for you to know the most convenient way on how to earn bigger in a short period of time. Also find a job which will pay you with the amount that satisfy your needs. On your extra time or free time, work your way on your bitcoins.
659  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 20, 2016, 12:02:02 PM

Bitcoin is a future, so do not hesitate in investing in it at a moment and if you miss the boat right now then you will surely regret in future for not investing at a right time.

There's a boat anytime and it happens in regular basis.

But for investment purposes, bitcoin must be taken the moment they decided to invest with this currency. Regrets are part of investment but it's better to minimize the feeling of being a regret one.
