641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: December 22, 2017, 04:23:44 AM
I think many people might quit gambling with bitcoins due to its high price, and many want to hold their bitcoin for future purpose or for more profits.
But still we can gamble with cheap altcoins available on the market so it saves our money and also feed our gambling addiction.
Your thinking in my opinion is totally wrong. People will continue to gamble with Bitcoins because playing with bitcoins can make more profits than playing with some real cash. Also the price of bitcoins is fluctuating in market all the time.

People leave playing gambling with bitcoins when its price suddenly rises because no one is willing to lose his bitcoins because they are going to be very helpful as all the trading is going to be done with BTCs in future.
It will not matter to those gamblers who are only into gambling, it will only affect those who just played gambling sometimes and do know how hard it is to earn bitcoin or those who are in trading, i tried to play with alt sometimes but the thrilled in playing in btc is really different somehow.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 22, 2017, 04:04:35 AM
Honestly people does not need to play gambling games.  People can live without it but since forms of entertainment had been discovered and established, business person saw that gambling games gives motivation to people to play it.  Hence, business wise, owner make it attractive to people by having a stake and a price and people saw it as form of entertainment and put their money on it.  It is actually a good means of entertainment just make sure we don't get hooked and addicted to the game.
We don't really need it, maybe we find something on it that makes us want it to play all over, the thrilled, fun and excitement on what will be the outcome of our games as well the winnings we hope to earn attracts us to keep on playing.
643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 22, 2017, 03:39:36 AM
What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
The one thing you should always remember is whenever there is winning there must be a losing some day. When you know that things will be a little bit easier for you when you lose. forgeting and moving on that is the best idea and try again.
Learn from it,think of it as a experienced that next time i will just hold it until It reached it's possible amount or if i think i already earn on it, lising is part of the game but after aim and work hard to be successful on it the next time.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: December 22, 2017, 03:12:07 AM
Good you lost only 20k in gambling  Cheesy. Some loses their houses, family and other properties. They lose even their wives being addicted to gambling. Some ends up very miserable in this gambling business and i really hope it will not happen in m6 family because it is very interesting in the beginning but it is very addictive.

Only a stupid people that is not going to learn from their mistake. Sometimes people think that they are doing it with only a small amount but when you keep repeating the same mistake over and over again that means it is madness not only stupid. he can stop but he choose not to stop so he just need to live with the consequences
Maybe they think that they just gamble using a small amount, that's good, but that would not matter if you gamble too often. Although the amount is small but if you do it too often then it is tantamount to big amount. It was a mistake, I mean, gambling too often is a mistake.
We should not let ourselves gambling too much, it's more thrilling to play when you missed it, i mean if you can't resist playing it then better set rules or set dates when to play, don't let your self lose too much, enjoy the winnings and enjoy the game.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: December 22, 2017, 02:59:07 AM
In the past, I once have a thinking of trying to get rich with gambling and have put in quite a huge amount of my savings into it, but it doesn't seems to work as I felt my life is always on a roller coaster ride and I am don't feel this is the proper way to get rich, so I pulled out of it and I am glad I made this decision.
I'm also thinking that way even until now. But I know my limitations and chances are still there though I'm not hoping too much with it. Before I'm a gambler that has a lot of problems with myself including my gambling activity but all of it has changed now.

It is always good to see gambler to learn from his mistake.  These kind of people are exceptional since they can identify stuff that they need to adjust and just don't let gambling rule their lives.  Those who failed to adjust and protect themselves from being hooked in gambling often become a problem gambler.  I am glad I am able to identify this thing too and developed a protective method by  moderating my gambling games and taking control of my time and fund.  As a result I am able to enjoy gambling and at the same time it does not affect me negatively.
This should be the character of every gamblers, to accept the fact that they are already addicted and willing to let go to have a more efficient life, gambling isn't bad as long as we don't take it to seriously, i mean to the point that we depend our incoke on is already a problem, having control and proper time management will ease the situation.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: December 22, 2017, 02:05:37 AM
Holding bitcoin is one of the dangerous decision we been made because it is like gambling, we need to trust to the coins we been choose to invest. I guess we will overcome our fear in trading if they invest and set period of time before they withdraw.

For example invest BTC1 for 5 years, let bitcoin fluctuates bitcoin in our account without knowing. Because if they visit it daily or weekly they will notice that it will going down and growing up. So tendency they were panic.

But if they hold it we were notice that on 5years bitcoin will earn much income, due to accumulate increasing of this coin in crypto currency industry.
Even in justva year you'll definitely see how you'll earn on it, having btc now or much better even before can definitely make a great impact on the profit you can gain as time passed by.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: December 22, 2017, 01:37:08 AM
20 BTC is going to be sufficient for the rest of my life. I have other ways to live and this will be just put into my savings+investment so I don't have to worry with my daily living, this will be enough for me to quit gambling forever but I don't know if this will also tempt me to have a pinch on that amount.

Yep. 20BTC is too big as of now, Even 10BTC is enough for me for the rest of my life. At this current rate, That is greater to the total amount of my salary that I will earn for 20 years of work. In my personal experience, I stop gambling not because I win BIG amount but after I lose a huge amount. Is it impossible for a gambler to stop at a profit streak. It is very rare scenario were on profit gambler stop gambling.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: December 22, 2017, 01:11:21 AM
It depends which type of gambling game we are playing, basically gambling is purely depends on the luck in the games like dice and in sports gambling skill is important there also need bit of luck, experience matters in certain games along with that need a stroke of luck.

It is not that kind of experience because the real thing is when we know when to stop. That is what I called as having enough experience that will matter in gambling. Aside from that , all kind of other experience wont matter at all because gambling is pure of luck game but somehow I think that having some is going to give small advantage to you sometimes but it wont help you to win
It still does in terms of knowing our status in the game or rounds, we can easily convince ourselves to stop when the game seems not favor on us, it matters on a way of decision making not really on the gamblong itself.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing is the new gambling! Double, Tripple, Quadruple...why still gamble? on: December 21, 2017, 04:56:10 PM
Investing is indeed actually starting to look like gambling, but I don't really think it's a good replacement for it.
It's just not the same, you don't see the results as fast. If anything, it's comparable to sports betting, profit or losses can be made in about the same timeframe.

Do note that most of these outlandish profits are purely driven by speculation, so the risks are also quite similar to gambling.
Since it's hard to define its outcome, then there is still some approach of gambling in it. Having investment is a good move when the company is reliable and we do know that they're project have really a potential. Since they're too many investments we can do, we should really think where to stake our bet.

651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: December 21, 2017, 02:12:39 PM
Play in a gambling place that is not too big like in bars or other entertainment venues, playing every saturday night of the week (once a week). Quite fun, to refresh my brain after being tired of working for a week.
Yeah if you can resist to not become an addict, gamble in the weekend could be a routine and of course you do gamble for the sake of entertainment. But the reality mostly people get addicted and spend most of the times to gamble every day until they think they have lost too much .
- Well, gambling is a game that makes us addicted very quickly because the nature of gambling involves winning and losing, people always like to win, no one wants to lose, and when we lose, we will never accept, we want to go back and recover the loss but this is an idea that is very hard to come true. Play gambling every week is an addiction but at a slight level, I think that anyone who has this habit, they should soon give up, it will not be good for them, should not let it become more serious, I just gambled on the New Year's Day at home to some of my friends, the main purpose is to have fun with my friends, on normal days I do not play gambling, it does not bring me too much excitement
As long as you didn't get lured to play more and to play on the other games even for the sake of giving a try and nothing more. Gambling won't make you addicted for sure. It's something realistic enough for me if you do gamble at the new year only , rare event and hoping for the luck only with people around you, there's no harm.
Betting and playing once in a while can reduce the risk of losing more, and in fact it's more fun since we felt the thrilled and missed the game, but always have in control, always know how to limit ourself.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: December 21, 2017, 12:56:39 PM
Some people who say "Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone", I dare say because they have run out of their money. If they still have the money to bet, I'm sure they'll still be playing. I also feel the same way, and I think all the gamblers are the same.
Yeah gamblers won't stop gambling if they still have money in their pocket. That's can be denied.

Those are not responsible gamblers in my opinion because every responsible gambler sets limits  for himself and he knows when to start or when to stop depending on the happenings around the games and the amount of money to be committed into it. Such gamblers will not wait and exhaust their pockets before they go home but will rather strategically quit and come at the  right time.
There are only two types of gamblers which is responsible and irresponsible/addicted gamblers which they do really differ on their decisions when it comes to gambling and the things they should be aware off specially on the funds that they are holding on. All things should be on moderation and on control because if you do let yourself fall into addiction even you are responsible back in the past it will surely change you out completely.
Human is always weak against his will and greed. We all are greedy for money and gambling is played for this purpose too. So how can you expect from a person, even it is a responsible one according to you, you will be demoralized and detracted from the path. Hence, gambling had made such huge losses to the people that they are living a miserable lives now. God bless us.
Since we knew other people who got lucky in gambling, we somehow want to make it happen to us, but we should realize not all story are the same, some were too lucky enough, so if you already lose almost or you think you'll be on that point, better think now, we should enjoy our winnings if we still have than risk it all, all over again.

654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing is the new gambling! Double, Tripple, Quadruple...why still gamble? on: December 21, 2017, 06:55:14 AM
Maybe for the fun and thrills?
You got me there: I like (or used) to gamble also and the thrills and the fun of (Bitcoin) gambling is still...unbeaten.

But for any other reason like doubling, trippling...or even 10x winning back your investment/stake...why would you still want to gamble that?
The chances/odds are bigger that you will loose them gambling...while the chances/odds are the same (probably bigger) that you would increase them while investing.

Gambling on casinos has given users a completely different experience over just investing in something and waiting for the money to grow. You might say that the house always wins but there are those who have made even x100 on a single roll and instantly cashed out. Yeah it might be all luck but still a huge win.

Besides that, Investing in casino need a lot of time and analysis compared to gambling in the casino. Casino gambling is a fast phase game that's why many gamblers still choose Casino because it is a source of entertainment and not only for profit. Anyway, Investing is just a theoretical gambling but it is not the word gambling that OP is describing. He is comparing two completely different matter at the time.  Shocked
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: December 21, 2017, 05:41:50 AM
I only play at online casinos, I generally don't really like the atmosphere at real casinos, at least not the ones in my country.
Most of the casinos over here are either kinda sketchy or look like they're only for rich people.
Actually, The atmosphere on real gambling casino is good, You will never feel bored when you are there because you will have a lot of people to chat compared to online casino that is boring. You must try it, The sound of the slot machine is good especially when many coins are falling out on it. Table poker too is more intense than a virtual casino. You can knock the table when you want to check and do some PRO moves. FYI, the Land-based casino is not for rich only but it is suggested for poor people like me to stay away on it to avoid loss. 657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Gambling Forum? on: December 21, 2017, 04:00:05 AM
Try Betcoin poker casino community forum, Even though their main poker site has some previous bad past, But still, the community is solid. There is a good discussion there about the forum and some experts are giving their strategy and tips to a newbie. Just be cautious about everything that you read, Not all info there is legit just like on any other forum but all in all, You will still get valuable info there. Just try to avoid their poker site and only engage in their forum.  Wink
