I don't think that i can put all the BTC done with LISK in my house, ill buy a new home, this is 100% secure profit, going to buy the new Ferrari, advice?
Go ahead and secure some moon boots that are solid 24k gold, that will work out just fine.

Hi, I am interested. I am PM'ing you.

I am starting to feel that the halving is already built in. Although hopes of moon shot profits from halving is fun I think that a more stable price will be better for bitcoin in the end.

Cashless world as mentioned in the document, it will ruin the poor and the growth of small scale traders. On the whole the technology will make changes but it should be developed in a equal manner to reach all.
I agree with this statement. While I like the idea of a cashless society I do not like the possibility that small business or the poor will fall through the cracks. Maybe the concept of the "basic living" through crypto would be good for that to make sure that it is distributed equally, then of course you can make much more beyond that through a semi-capitalistic system.

Great! Australia is proving itself to be a country friendly to btc and crypto. This is what we need, more good news and more support.

I will stay and I really do not think it matters which side wins. This will work itself out organically as it is a great design and well thought out. The devs will reach agreements that work for everyone.

Why would we need passphrases ... arent the generated keys enough?
Whit the passhprase you can access to your wallet ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . do you smell that smell? sniff sniff...yes it's it...the smell of people that won't access their lisk wallet because they've lost the passphrase Yes I think a lot of people will complain because they will not be able to access to the wallet and most important spend their 'coins'. Noob here, where do I access my passphrase? Read the OP there's a BIG BLUE TEXT, below it 2 BIG GREEN TEXT and below them an image! READ THEM C A R E F U L L Y Update : You have to open them, not just read the blue and green text. Got it, I almost missed this. I have been so busy with other things that I forgot what I read 2 weeks ago! thanks and this should be a warning to others.

How fast received lisk? I send BTC but not receive lisk on ICO page...What's throuble?
Blockr is currently behind the rest of the network by a number of blocks: http://btc.blockr.io/We also are using them as our API service provider, so deposits won't show on the ICO site until they fix their nodes. I am monitoring the situation, so will update when they sort their shit out (or we switch providers). Sorry for the inconvenience. I am having similar issues right now. I have 11 confirmations in Coinbase but nothing at lisk yet.

Crazy, I am in the Seattle area and had no idea there were bitcoin farms in Chelan county. I also had no idea that electricity was cheap ANYWHERE in WA, now I know. I hope that the city government does not force them out by price, as you said above - would be great to have some bitcoin mines on US soil.

Funny to see the BTC Maximalists lose their shit over ETH.
One could argue ETH is not overpriced, rather its Bitcoin that is underpriced. But hey, Bitcoin is having trouble expanding because it is run by a cartel that is snakier than the Saudi Royal Family.
I agree. I think Bitcoin is undervalued therefore ETH appears to be "close" to btc in value. When price suppression is over it may look like a different landscape. To OP, why would Vitalik need to flee? What is the scam?

BITBAY! An altcoins with actual tech behind them rather than hype. Well Bitbay has just created the first ever working decentralised market and is in the process of getting pegged to the dollar. Bitbays led dev is David Zimbeck - the guy who created 'Halo' and 'Night-trader' for Blackcoin. He's behind Bitbay and works on it full-time! We believe it will be added to Poloniex shortly we predict due to the magnitude of development work and they have asked for more information on the pegging.
I think Bitbay has huge potential too. We really need a decentralized market and if they succeed it could be big. Way undervalued right now. I notice LISK coming up a lot here. I am going to have to research it. Any short answers about how to get some?

According to the timeline of your posts you would have made quite a profit! Completely crazy but it sounds like it paid off.

Even if they could provide shots of me having sex with dead foxes at the side of the road, I freely share them with my facebook friends anyway. That's a shitty attempt to extort but it is a neat intro to Bitcoin.
Hilarious that it comes with a very informative introduction to Bitcoin use. Good to see no one sent btc. This is similar to the Nigerian email that floated around a few years ago with a different twist.

The article mentions that an estimated 50-90% of bitcoin's current market cap is held by near-institutional money. That is indeed significant. If more institutional money flows in, the market cap would dramatically improve.
Sure, but it works both ways, if 'institutional investors' lose interest in Bitcoin, market cap would dramatically fall. Yes and it would be better to see less 'institutional investors' and more individuals and have the same price as today. I feel that individual investors is what will propel this coin.

It comes down to adoption which is affected by press. First we need more and more good press, specifically in mainstream media, then you can get average joe to trust and adopt.
I really feel that all of this will work out organically as it is a needed technology for a global world.

How much of a downward motion would this create if they decided to get out?
A bid is evidence of a capability to buy in. An ask is evidence of a capability to sell out. Showing evidence of funds on one side does not imply funds on the other side. One must resort to second-level gaming to infer the opposite. Additional levels of gaming just result in compounding the inversions of logic with exponentially decreasing probability of accuracy. 500 btc would sweep the book to .004. The offer has left the book anyhow. The effect was an upturn in the very short-term price trend. Sometimes a large order will result in the market fleeing the wall. Sometimes it will result in the market seeking out the wall. It depends on what polar flavor of liquidity is yearning to breathe free, and at what price. So far from the top of the book, it will cause ripples, but can actually stabilize things while everyone waits for a shoe to drop. Thank you for this explanation, had to read twice to absorb. Learning more everyday.
