641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 30, 2016, 12:56:23 PM
What about other casinos and their bankroll management systems? Does anyone know their maximum allowed bet or win? Methinks, it is possible to develop a strategy of evaluating how safe it is to invest in a certain casino by looking at these figures.
Maximum profit per bet / bankrolls as of now for the following sites :
Safe Dice : 24 btc / 188btc
Crypto-Games : 5btc /  1,178btc
Bitvest : 0.4btc (dice) /  891btc
Moneypot : 20btc  / 772btc
I won't be adding betking to the list because they will be divesting all investors fund the next couple of days. For satoshidice they dont mention anything about maximum profit

Wow! This is a perfect presentation along with OP's weekly updates. With Betking's planned sale and returning all investments on the 30th of December, I expect casino investors to flock to other sites most especially Crypto-Games. Although starting December 1, Crypto-Games will also start to change the investors winnings share from 80% to 70% so they can have more fund for promotions. Someone from Crypto-Games mentioned that investors can actually earn more since aggressive promotions means more people playing.
There's a chance that some will go to crypto-games and some will still stick to Betking now that they are having an ICO.
Thats interesting, thanks for the information, didn't know that betking was having an ICO
In short, investing in gambling sites are profitable. We should not doubt it because they have maintain that good reputation in terms of profitability. Now there's new dice in ICO which is the vdice, I'll keep an eye on this one. Seems legit.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 30, 2016, 12:52:40 PM
if I may be honest I always spend all my salary to buy a certain item I like, yeah I'm very hard to control my desire to buy something, there is the suggestion that I was not too extravagant?

its not good to spend all of your salary because i think you need to saving if in case you have emergency situation. and beside that, i think you need to control your desire to buy something you like. better to buy important item and make the rest in your account in bank so you can trying to save your money for your future.
Well, savings is necessary, without savings our future is not clear and could be at risk. Regardless of the amount we earn savings is one of our priority and that can be achieve if we carefully manage our finances.

Minimize our expense while maximize our income, that's the best solution.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: November 30, 2016, 12:45:03 PM
For me, there was no budget specifically to gamble, because gambling is just for entertainment and not I make to add to earnings. I have had enough of work and income efforts.
There is for me actually, having a budget is like putting the amount of money that you can only afford. This amount of money should only be intended fro fun and nothing else, otherwise you will be out of your budget and you will be making foolish decision that would made you regret in the future.
You are right budget means how much money you will spend for your fun and entertainment purpose. Usually people play gambling how much money they can afford. But those are addicted to gambling and those who play for money there budget is out of the box. We cannot guess how much they lose per day. But I have a limit in gambling I can control my money management.
Money management are only for the professional gambler because they need to manage their big bankroll, but for typical gambler that is not their main focus, they are more focus on the winning without considering the right method on how to achieve it.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 30, 2016, 12:36:34 PM
Well atleast bitcoin doesn't get raped by pump and dump scam. Wink

LOL, you paying over $700 for BTC right now,
on Jan 16th, 2015 you were paying ~$218,
On Nov 13, 2013 you were paying ~$1275 per coin. (Those guys are still in the hole.)

Looks like a Pump & Dump to me, Next Dump is due in late Jan 2017.  Wink
Set your clock.

Well I guess I am lucky because I started being really into bitcoins around March. The price has almost doubled since. Smiley Let's see what would happen in January 2017. I would most probably remember this post anyway. Tongue If you would consider price fluctuations as pump and dump of course it would seem like a non-stop pump and dump to you. I think it's only normal to see major price fluctuations. No one guaranteed that bitcoin will increase continuously with just very little dumps along the way.
Correct, the pump and dump is very normal in bitcoin. I believe those who were able to invest for short term are already making a good profit now, while those who prefer to invest as long term will have to be faithful with bitcoin so the moment it will dump they will not panic.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 30, 2016, 12:33:00 PM
Bitcoin can not replace fiat even the value of bitcoin would be more higher in the future because not all people can access and use it, fiat is traditional currency which all people are able to used it even without gadgets and internet connection
You are definitely correct, bitcoin will always be a alternative money like the other digital currency, while on the other hand, we have been using fiat ever since and it's like a many years up to now so it's not easy to replace when people are used to using it and government only tell us to recognize it as our legal tender.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 30, 2016, 12:25:43 PM
Russell Westbrook made 3rd triple-double in a row, 8th in this season and 45th total. He's the best player in the NBA right now and he may finish his career as most triple-double stats. He will pass Larry Bird this season with this performance.
All time triple double leaders
1 Oscar Robertson 181
2 Magic Johnson    138
3 Jason Kidd      107
4 Wilt Chamberlain  78
5 Larry Bird       59
6 Russell Westbrook  45

oscar robetson can create triple-double 181, but iam not hear about robetson
why is good player with the first rank triple-double not big star and not popular
another oscar in list, most popular big star and can collect NBA ring championship
I am more familiar with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird and how they changed the NBA with their rivalry. Before Jordan came, these two came up with big games and faced each other many times and some of those games gave they were able to record triple doubles. I think Westbrook still has a long way to go towards surpassing the record set by the Big O.
Yeah maybe he has a long way to go surpassing the no.1 record but he still has a chance. He is just 28yrs old. If he will be consistent as what he is showing right now it wony be impossible for him to surpassed the record.
He just have to stay healthy and there's a big possibility he will be breaking record after record in the future. Westbrook is in beast mode now and love to stand up in big stage and he should what he can do.

648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: November 30, 2016, 09:00:58 AM
My purpose of gambling is not for the rich, because I'm sure gambling is not going to make me rich. gambling only I make for happy and fill an empty time.
i am sure that everyone starts out gambling to spend some happy times before losing a chuck of savings Smiley i have seen some guys winning more than 3 BTC in dice site and i am just aware of the winnings posted by them and I dont know how much they have wagered to get those wins and i have seen fellows wasting 100's of BTC in dice sites. So gambling wont make everyone rich but a few lucky ones could get some huge winnings.

Making more than 3 BTC in Dice game seriously very tough, This is not possible for me, I think they may be a lucky person or they played with a big bankroll. But in sports betting it may happen, there are some people they will make more than 5 BTC per day in skill games. Even I also made 0.4 BTC one day. But yes only lucky people will become rich from gambling.

I guess that is just possible for those people who have a very high bankroll and most of the people who can do this are those wealthy.

Because I don't even have the guts to dice higher as 0.005 BTC with my entire life because I'm valuing my bitcoins because I'm afraid to lose.

And those people who you are saying that are earning 5 bitcoins/day are admirable I don't know on how they are spending that money either and I can't surpass to 0.01BTC/day
Well, you should play base on your financial status. The amount we put should be what we can lose, its necessary for every gambler that they will understand that nobody should make the right decision but us. The results of our gambling should be base on our decision, and if we do not make it right that's when the problem will arise.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 30, 2016, 08:54:42 AM
It can be used for good but it will most likely be a task to complete this of course but it can happen without any doubts.
Honestly, the simple answer here is only base on the user. If fiat is use for good, how much more a bitcoin when the users are only few compared to fiat users.
650  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: November 30, 2016, 08:44:58 AM
To double it safely i will build a food business which most people really like. I'll build a restaurant spending all $100k. Although doubling it will require some time but it will be safe in that way. Rather than investing it on some networking or use it as trading capital which have a high risk of doubling money.
This would be nice if you have skills for the food business, or if you get guidance from people with experience. In fact, as long as there is the required knowledge, resources and demand, setting up any business could help you to make profit. So, the first step is probably to identify the thing for which you have skills to do, then plan and execute.
Anything you will do should be according to your passion, it would be easy to engage into business where our interest is mainly there. When you have the passion with your business your chances to become successful is higher.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 30, 2016, 08:40:22 AM
If someone is truly desperate, they would try to work any job they could find. Simple as that. If you aren't willing to do what it takes to pay bills, then you aren't actually desperate.

agree with this, we should trying to do anything we can and make that money unless you don't want to buy something for your life then you don't need to get any jobs. i think we are in desperate need for money and it will push our body to get the jobs even for the small pay because from that payment we receive, we can buy something, at least we can buy for food.
Yes I agree to, I prefer like get any job that can give me some money than looking for someone that can loans me. Never borrow money when we desperate need for money becouse borrow money is make our life un comfortable. I think we have to prepare some money in our saving before we desperate need for it. So I call this emergency money. So by this way we do not have to panic when in that condition.

Agreed too, But if people are desperate for money, than they have a right, because in this world everyone need money and money is a basic thing, if we have it than our life will be good and if we have no money, than its mean we have many problems and our life full of circumstances.

That's why this problem is on the top list of all the people around the world. But as of now, I can say I don't have any problem with it.

And if this is going to happen to me, then I will surely ask my company to approve me with my loan application.

If the companies loan is not still enough for me, then I will ask the banks here in my country and will apply a loan application that doesn't need collateral but it will take a couple of weeks before I get a result.
Asking loans on bank will surely take up weeks before it was granted it to you and there are lots of requirement you really need to complete before you could able to make up loan. What if you are in need of money so badly? Making loan on banks will surely take up time and the last resort wold borrowing on your family members.

Sometimes it take a bank loan - it is the only way out of a difficult situation. If you have nothing to sell, then you have to take out a loan on unfavorable terms
Bank does not give you a loan for unfavorable terms, in the first place you are at need and the bank is just there to help you, we should be thankful if banks grant our loan, it's going to be a big help for person under the desperate situation.

Banks cannot fool as because they are monitored by the central bank.
652  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 30, 2016, 08:33:06 AM
Well i do believe the best way to introduce kids into bitcoin is from faucets, where they will be able to see and know how hard is to earn money, they can also play some games to earn bitcoin for they relax a bit, then they can join bitcointalk, and see which thing they can do to earn extra bitcoins, knowing that some of them might join signatures, and others can buy and sell something, or do some tasks for bitcoin.

No need for them to use faucets and face how hard it is to earn bitcoins. It would give them the impression that doing bitcoins is boring and isn't worth doing. There are other things that you can do to earn bitcoins which is far easier and makes you earn more bitcoins at the same time. It would be much better if they start by searching what is mining, gambling, trading, and other things about bitcoin that you can do. By doing that, they're learning something unlike in faucets wherein they're just going to solve captchas.
Wow! so your teaching your kids to do the things I highlighted in your post, I guess it's not yet appropriate for them to learn those things. They are not matured enough to start learning it, kids love to have fun so they must deal with faucets only IMO.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 30, 2016, 08:24:19 AM
If you are just gambling just to have fun then the safest method for you to not to lose in instant and play longer is just bet small amount , just try to recover every loss you get then withdraw when you hit your target amount.

I think that's where everything starts, playing for fun. I am thinking that it is not safe since there will always be something that will trigger you to bet more and more specially if you still has in mind that recovering your losses. Though it could be effective for a while and maybe until you get bored. I still prefer to get my bets from faucet. Aside from that, just don't gamble if you don't want to lose any penny or bitcoin.
Once we enter into gambling we should already put in mind that we are gonna lose, it's either we win at first which we called as beginners luck but in the end we are not exempted of losing. What is just important here for us to still gamble in the long run is just put the amount you can afford to lose and we can do that if we have the right attitude necessary in gambling.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: November 30, 2016, 08:21:05 AM
i think i am not good in gambling games but i can play if only just play like other people, because when i am play, i think i can get win and loss in that day but i think i am not good for any of gambling games. so i think it will depend on how luck i am in that day when i am playing gambling games.
Yeah, you are not good because you said it many times, but the question is why did you still gamble? What is your aim?
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: November 30, 2016, 08:08:15 AM
Today I received from one of the giveaway, when yesterday I promise that when I get giveway I would not use it to gamble but today I have the desire to gamble. and in the end I lost my bitcoin. is there any good suggestions for me ?. I always break my word alone

The best option for you is don't visit this forum and any gambling sites for some time and spend your free time with your family and friends. If possible try to involve more in outdoor activities and keep yourself busy then slowly you will forget gambling.

maybe you can start to turn off your computer so you don't have to bother with this forum or another forum and gambling sites because as long as you connect with internet and there is a browser install, then you can go to gambling site and trying to play gambling. the idea to make you keep busy is to make you forget about gambling and you should build new activity that will not related with gambling.
bad idea and would never work , internet for some people are the second world , they can't live without it. just the matter how you to use it , as addicted gambler you might would gone wild to surf and deposit to every single gambling site accounts and start to gamble. so the problem here is to wipe your addiction .
It should be on how to solve the root cause of the problem, anything as long as it's addiction is a serious problem that would turn into a disease if not taken cared of, we should be very responsible enough to do our job as a gambler as it's not the safest game in the world, rather the hardest game if you seek money.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 30, 2016, 07:58:59 AM
I think future day can replace, since the existence of the bitcoin already many changes to the way global transactions, and very likely if you can replace the fiat.

This probability is - no one argues. But in real life it is practically impossible. The government will not allow such a scenario
You are right, everything in this world is decided by the government especially when it can already impact a big population in the world where bitcoin cannot be regulated and it is known as widely use for illegal transactions, it would be hard for us to achieve that dream.

658  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: November 29, 2016, 06:51:53 AM
For right now there are many countries that building their own coins because of chrash of economic, but about the their coins will be replace their fiat money i am doubt about it, because not all of people on countries can understand about digital currencies. If it can be happening will take long time.

They can build their own if they want too... But it will not be like bitcoin, it will be centralized and I think it's like the fiat, and probably if they create one, they will slowly remove their paper money... It could be helpful, it won't take long for the people to adopt it and learn how to use digital currency if it is being taught in the school soon if the government would really create their own cryptocurrency...  Smiley
Yeah, I agree with that. People will still not gonna patronize it, what makes bitcoin popular is the its whole system and big investors or capitalists are attracted with the decentralized which I believe can never do.

With their banks, they have a central bank, so most likely they are in control with making a bitcoin like project.
659  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 29, 2016, 06:46:40 AM
Bitcoin can't replace fiat just like gold can't replace fiat. Bitcoin will have many uses like a store of value or a way to send money to someone else, or even a method of payment but there will always be a place for a government currency as well.

Gold is a completely different thing than bitcoin, gold is a natural mineral that no one can make themselves, it is not a currency nor it has ever been, but bitcoin is a currency which is made by a person (or a group, not sure) so a currency can replace a currency but a mineral like gold cannot.
But still i feel bitcoin cannot replace fiat still as it has a limited amount.

I agree with you mate. One of the reason why gold is valuable because it's a mineral that cannot produce or create by human or machine. Bitcoin was created be human and use it as an alternate currency and formed it as in crypto-currency.. and it's value is depends on fiat so that's why it cannot replace the fiat.

Bitcoin was designed to mimic the scarcity of gold though. Just because it was man-made, doesn't automatically make it inferior. (It just happens to be because of the other attributes it possesses.) Bitcoin, like gold, cannot just be created infinitely like fiat can. There are limitations in place that cause scarcity so that it retains value (in theory).
Gold are valuable since it was recognize by many people, but if you will try to compared its usefulness to the humanity, you can tell that bitcoins are more useful as it can be use to minimize our expenses in online transaction and we can have a fast transaction.

It's decentralization is new to the open minded investor, hence it's getting popular overtime.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 29, 2016, 06:39:33 AM
is it possible that bitcoin will be accepted in local stores, shops etc. since transactions are to slow and customers have to wait until their transactions are verified. And nobody wants to wait.
Can transactions be seeded up to save customers time or any other way to use bitcoin  at local stores.

Yes! there is a big possibility to be happen in the long run. And that will be good news for the bitcoin enthusiast it will be convenient also for the shoppers if that happen in any malls or supermarket.
We just have to be positive all the time, the future is great for bitcoin and businesses will eventually adopt. They are not the first to adopt but the people, if we can attract more users, this business might consider accepting bitcoin to take advantage of the great market.
