641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sacrifice!!! on: December 10, 2023, 09:52:15 PM
What are you willing to give up to make trading work?

• Friends
• Relationships
• Money
• Time

Your new life will cost you your old one. Without sacrifice nothing reasonable can be birthed.

The market demands a sacrifice
As far as I know, a trader only takes risk of his money and time when trading. If a trade ends up at a loss, then that would be goodbye to your money and time. But losses are not enough reason to quit, because that will serve as your motivation to trade again and improve your what is there to improved. Increase your knowledge and skills if possible, and learn from the past experiences from other traders, that will definitely help you to win your trades in your next attempt.

I have been trading for years, and I think there's no need to sacrifice family, friends or relationships. If it happens, most probably you are not doing the right thing in trading.
642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should new cryptocurrency users do first?🙏🙏🙏 on: December 10, 2023, 08:59:15 PM
I want to know to all you big cryptocurrency users if someone who is new to cryptocurrency wants to learn about cryptocurrency then what should he know first, the reason for saying this is because many new crypto currency users come to cryptocurrency and don't know anything.  By investing in cryptocurrency without understanding, they are losing all their property, so if you who are experts would say that before investing in cryptocurrency, you should know what things you should invest ?  Then the new crypto currency users would have benefited a lot, they would not have faced any losses as newcomers
Before you jump into investing, have your own initiative first to study what you are investing, its pros and cons, its benefits whether its for long term or short term investment. And since you are in the forum, feel free to ask the reputable members what are those coins that are highly profitable to invest. Their experiences will tell it all. Two heads are better than one, so always be open for their suggestions and explanations, but at the end of the day, it's only you who can decide what coin to invest and how to maximize your investment.

However, using cryptocurrency without knowing its risk, will add more to its risk of losing. This is why DYOR is always encouraged, so that one will not end up losing and regretting.
643  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 10, 2023, 07:57:16 PM
It's not enough having an investment plan, knowing the right choice to make for every investment defines the investor better. Take for example jumping on every new coin we find on reputable exchange might not be enough guarantee that coin will do well in the future.

Some coin might have good Supply but low liquidity, some might have high market capitalisation but very poor volatility. Although it's hard to predict the accuracy of a coin performance in the near future this why it is always advised to stick to the known which is BTC.

Another option is to spread ones portfolio amongst different coins but ensuring the have a greater percentage in projects with a visible future. It is better to win small and lose less than lose more and win less
With crypto, a lot of choices will be provided but if you want to go for the safest choice, then stick to bitcoin as it's always the highly secured and guaranteed profitable crypto investment in the crypto market. However, I do not mean that bitcoin is the only profitable and trustable coin alone, with diligence study, you will discover also some highly potential altcoins that can be worthy and valuable to invest. But with altcoins, always invest with high caution.

Diversifying is a good option. If you want to maximize your profits, then never limit your investment to only one investment, but you can also invest in physical investments like gold, real estate or stocks. If you fail on one investment, at least you might also be successful on the other one.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 10, 2023, 03:26:49 AM
I got the same bet because I can't bet against the Lakers again after their game against the Pelicans. I avoided the handicap because the bet can quickly lose if they suddenly can't hit more than half of their shots, similar to the Suns game a few days ago. And as much as I like the Pacers to win because of their impressive underdog run, they probably won't have an easy time running their explosive offense against this Lakers team that is improving on the defensive end.

Though the game is not yet over but it seems the Lakers is too much for the Pacers. Davis dominating the paint causing Myles Turner to be in foul trouble is huge since no one in the Pacers bench could guard Davis better than Turner I think.

Lebron is again in beast in the third quarter as he is fresh since he has not played so many minutes in the first half due to foul trouble so congrats in advance kabayan for that ML bet.

Yeah, looks like the Lakers is the right bet, but we cannot celebrate early as the game is not yet over. In NBA, no big lead is safe and the Pacers are very much still in the game. Davis should be okay, I saw he is humping a bit after they compete with the rebounds, but he continues so he's okay.

We are in the middle of the 3rd quarter, too early, there's even 4th quarter waiting, so let's hope the pace will continue for the Lakers.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview for sports bettors. on: December 10, 2023, 02:51:14 AM
Look what we are having here, I remember the feel when looking for a job, I love interview man. !

here's my answer.

1- How long have you been gambling in sports?

Ans ; I think more or less 10 yearas already. Before I know about crypto, I was already gambling online on sports, those are the times where transaction fee is still very high since I have to buy some online digital money ( could not remember anymore).. I remember that was Planetofbets, my first bookie, but I never got a chance to win.

2 -What are your worst experience in sports betting?

Ans ; When I'm so obsesed with it that I always think of gambling, even I work I do gambling and it really distracted my work. Thankfully, I was able to surpass that problem of mine and eventually learn to become a more matured gambler, a responsible one.

3-What are your best experience in sports betting?

Ans ; It's a parlay bet, I won $2,000 and it never happened again. must be luck only!

4-What can you advise on the new gamblers and those who struggles in sports betting?

Ans ; First maybe start with a small amount, try to evaluate yourselves if you have the discipline in gambling, if you already know how to control your emotion, then that's the time you'll start raising your bet , but not beyond your limit.

Gambling fun, it should be all the time.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 09, 2023, 09:59:45 PM
Trading is hard for those who don't know how to trade. But for those who have the knowledge and skills in trading, it won't be harder for them. In fact, it will be an advantage for them to learn trading because it could bring them life changing profits that will definitely change their whole lives. However, trading can be learned for those who have the willingness and the eagerness to learn, but it will take months or even years before a trader will definitely learn everything what is there to learn with trading.
647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 09, 2023, 08:53:48 PM
The time when you want to start with trading is probably the most difficult time for it. Although we all know that it's only hard in the beginning but it gets easier later on, but if we don't have enough courage to start and take those risks, then we will never see our potentials and capabilities in the process. Trading has its own process and everything can be learned in time, but it will definitely take a lot of time first before we can say that we are already good and reliable traders.

Dealing with the risks and overcoming them would be very difficult for beginner traders. But everyone started with scratch in trading, it only needs patience and persistency so we can also achieve what those successful traders have achieved with their current position right now.
648  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 06:45:17 AM
Sometimes I regret, sometimes I'm thankful. LOL..

You know what I mean, as a gambler we have some kind of mix emotions depending on the situation, so it's hard to decide when you are losing or winning. As of now, I'm not gambling, or safe to say I'm done for today, so I don't have emotion in me and my statement is currently honest.

So my answer is, no, I don't regret knowing gambling as this teach me how to take risk and manage it. Just pause of a while, look around and see those successful people, what do you see in them? Aren't they risk takers? yes, they are, so in life, if we want to succeed financially, we need to take risk and only in gambling where we can learn that which isn't too costly than starting a business just to learn the risk.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 09, 2023, 06:22:45 AM
Another heart breaking loss by the Golden State Warriors. Again, Chet brought the game to the OT from silly fouls of Draymond and Chet was able to shoot all 3 Free Throws. The biggest story here is the Warriors turnovers, they own the best record this season with 29.

This defeat against Thunder was the umpteenth time because previously they also lost against Thunder.
At the start of the match the Warriors seemed to be playing well and even had 14 point lead but as the match progressed the situation was reversed by the Thunder who started to recover and were able to score more points.
But this defeat seems much better than before because they only lost by aexperienci very small margin of 2 points and for some reason this season the Warriors are really experiencing bad phase because they are losing more often.
We can see in the table the Warriors match history that they always lose more often.
If conditions like this continue for long time without any improvements and changes, we can be sure that they will have difficulty occupying one of the top ranks in the Western region standings.

Yes, in terms of turnovers the Warriors committed 29 turnovers, which is the highest record this season.

It was a winnable game by the Warriors but I don't understand why Green fouled the game who gave them a heartache on their previous match up. Chet was really a cold blooded shooter, may it be in the 3 point area or in the FT line, he was sinking those 3 shots like there was no pressure at all, I guess he really deserve to win the ROY.

While Chet is enjoying his popularity now, unfortunately, Wemby and his Spurs continues their losing streak.

651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading advice for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
New users within the crypto space should understand that crypto trading is different from gambling where a mere prediction can yield result. As a newbie within the crypto space kindly check the following before you go into trading.

1. Learn about the volatile market
2. Learn how to analyze chart
3. Take your time to practice demo trading before going into real trading.
4. Do not be greedy, take profit when it’s best to do that, do not hope to get the whole world at a time.

You need to understand the learning process takes long, you have to be calm and follow through the process, if you’re too interested in the profit and not the skill or you don’t have time to do so, you can opt in for copy trading where you get to copy trade from elite traders and make profit, though copy trading is not available on all exchanges just few exchanges like Bitget has it.

Good luck newbies❤️
These tips are actually the basics in trading. Any beginner who wishes to enter trading is supposed to know about this already before deciding to trade. Otherwise, they will end up losing all their capital and end up wasting their time as well. That's the disadvantages when one newbie decides to enter trading even if he's not entirely ready for it.

One thing I will add is never expect profitable trades every time you trade. Trading can still be unpredictable even for those professional traders in the market, that's why they are still susceptible from losses in trading. So how much more for beginners who have less to show in the market, and are still fearful on how their trades will end up.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investing - DCA on: December 08, 2023, 09:25:10 PM
Hi All,

I currently have between £300 - £400 left over each week from my salary in which i have been transferring in to a savings account with 4.75% interest, but recently i began to invest small weekly amounts into the popular alt coins (£50-£100) as i'm a fairly risk averse person by nature. I have recently sold those coins in my portfolio at break even or at best with small gains and re-invested the money into BTC & ETH.

My plan moving forward is to use £150 of the money available to me to purchase BTC & ETH every week with the long game in mind, but was looking for advice really on how i should split the money % wise between the two assets? 50 / 50?

i currently hold 0.096* ETH & 0.0057* BTC and have been seriously considering investing more but not sure if the amounts i have available make this worth while?
Ethereum is a perfect combination for bitcoin, but if you are still a beginner investor, always do the math and stick to bitcoin. Besides, bitcoin has higher potentials than ethereum, and with bitcoin halving that is getting near, it's more of a wise decision to invest all in with bitcoin, but still invest with caution. Always invest within your own risk.

Just invest in Ethereum later on if you have extra money the next time you purchase. Ethereum has also its good potentials, but it's undeniable that bitcoin has it more compared to the rest of altcoins.
653  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think people can overcome any danger if they want to? on: December 08, 2023, 08:59:05 PM
Educate yourself first on the forum. Do not jump into looking for jobs as you need more knowledge and skills for that. And with your current position, it's hard to apply for a job because you have no skills and experience that they need the most. So rank up first by understanding the forum first and learn how other people post so you can be good and quality posters just like them. When you are making quality and valuable posts, other members will appreciate and then followed by meriting your account.

Applying for a signature campaigns might be a good step for you, but you will only be qualified once your position increase and once you developed skills in your posting activity. If you also have special skills related to crypto, you can also apply for it and let's see how those employers will find your application.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 08, 2023, 01:18:41 PM
@Inwestour. Tyson Fury would have certainly knocked out Francis Ngannou if he trained properly. A world heavyweight boxing champion almost lost vs. a mixed martial artist in boxing? 1 week training might be an exaggeration, however after his performance, yes I am quite certain Tyson Fury did not have much training.

We can assumed that perhaps Fury could knockout Francis Ngannou if he trained hard. But I guess majority feels that he didn't take his training seriously and now he has to pay for it. I mean it didn't derail his fight against Usyk, but obviously he has take damage in his eye and needed more time to heal.

And this could be a wake up call for him, and Usyk could see this as somewhat a weakness on the side of Fury. Although still size does matter in boxing and Tyson has the advantage but there could be factors that could favor Usyk like being a south paw and the quicker fighter between the two.

This isn't a fight that will be dominated by one fighter based on opinions here, so this makes it very interesting to watch as there are plenty of believers that Usyk will win despite bookies made Fury as the favorite.

Both have their strenght and weakness but we will find out who is the best fighter after the fight only, so just continue the speculation as the more this fight gets hype, the more it will gain the attention of the people resulting to better viewership and of course decent money that both deserves to earn. But as for me, I'm not gonna change my choice as it will remain on Fury.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 08, 2023, 12:45:41 PM
It seems like the Northport are playing without an import, but I'm surprise they're able to compete with the SMB and they are leading by 3 points now. There was no news regarding their import, so probably there are many gamblers who probably bet on Northport due to the high handicap.

I think it's still nice bet on the SMB now live as I think the 2nd half would be a different story, not sure if Northport would be able to carry the same energy they are giving now.

48-55 halftime score (in favor of Northport)
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 06, 2023, 12:48:19 PM
Kambosos is a better fighter than Prograis and Haney dominated Kambosos twice,...

I don't know, mate, but I'd like to ask how did you compare these two fighters and see that Kambosos is the better fighter than Prograis? As far as I know, Prograis and Kambosos haven't fought yet, while Kambosos only has two losses, both coming from Haney.

Prograis has only one loss, and that is against Josh Taylor. But that doesn't mean he'll easily lose to Haney just because he isn't undefeated anymore.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 06, 2023, 12:21:41 PM

I'm going nuts as well Blackwater ML at 6.30. Let's try our luck here.

I'm watching this; I like your confidence, mate. This looks like a losing bet already on paper, but we never know. Magnolia is currently on a win streak, and losing against a weaker team isn't expected. So let's see how they'll play out this game tonight. Hopefully, refs would favor Blackwater so those who are brave enough to take this kind of bet would be happy, like you.
658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not very easy; it took my friend a long time to understand. on: December 04, 2023, 07:14:34 PM
This proves that learning takes time. It may not be visible at first and all you see are losses and disappointments, but you know if the person is really determined to change and improve, he will get rid of his being impatient and even his greediness. I'm glad that your friend had realized that he has been dealing trading the wrong way, and being an official member in the forum makes him learn crypto market the better way and the most appropriate way.

While trading and investing in the market become a piece of cake for those pros in the market, but everything in learning takes time. The process may be hard and tough, but the end outcome that awaits is mostly smooth and sweet.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will invest the money to buy the land in Bitcoin. on: December 04, 2023, 12:47:10 PM
Your decision to invest in bitcoin is actually the best decision you could ever make that will definitely create life's big changes in the future. Although it's undeniable that owning a land property is also a profitable asset, but if compared to bitcoin, the profits from land property is indeed of less value compared to what you can gained from bitcoin investment. But still, invest with caution. Bitcoin investment cannot guarantee sure profits in the end so learn to invest on the amount you can afford to lose.

However, I think OP is already aware about the risks investing in bitcoin so he should not be too much confident that he'll only gain winnings but losses as well.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 04, 2023, 06:19:28 AM
The only problem I face with our local bookie is it doesn't have a huge market, like the bet builder feature on the popular casinos here in the forum.

I have explored this local bookie as well, I think this is the only one that has partnered gcash (licensed by PAGCOR) so we have no other options although this is the safest one. However, I'm not here to complain though, I'm just hoping that they'll be more competitive as the market is huge, so in order to retain and attract more gamblers, they need to show that they are like a one-stop-shop.
Far from being perfect but still a good local site to place a bet especially with PBA, though you have your point here that there’s still a lot of things for improvement and maybe a good marketing strategy to spread awareness about this local bookie.
Most likely bettors will focus more on the reputation of the site than the market it offered. Currently, since there's only one that we can sure it's legit as it's license by PAGCOR, I'm sure they'll get a lot of high rollers since these people doesn't want to look fancy with the markets offered, rather they're here to make huge bets on single line or odds.

Anyway, as expected with Ginebra to get an easy win here but still kudos for giving all out for DYIP as they also played a good game here.

It was always easy for them if they'll play bad team. DYIP and Blackwater seemed to be the only teams in the PBA that are so consistent on its' ranking at the bottom, so bettors would be lucky if they would win betting on the handicap as that means they compete a bit, however, it's too risky, I wouldn't trust a weak team regardless of the handicap, especially against Ginebra and other strong teams.
