Not really. As far as I know the disease is not that much contagious when talking about highly developed countries like the USA. Hopefully, it will be, well, true

Still don't understand , could you link me please ? & when people say "Positive feedback" (when they sell accounts ) does it mean Green ? or just Trusted Feedback on their profile
You can see the DefaultTrust list on your own trust settings page Only Trusted Feedback is used in the counters. Untrusted isn't accounted for AFAIK, at least totals not displayed. Oh , so I get Green/Red when the users on the "DefaultTrust" List gives me Feedback ? I see . and what about my other question please ? when people say "Positive feedback" (when they sell accounts ) does it mean Green ? or just Trusted Feedback on their profileI guess they should mention the DefaultTrust list when they're selling it, otherwise it could be any kind of positive feedback, so I would ask about it first. Also, if the resale of that account were to be exposed, the (negative) trust settings of other people and/or changes on the DefaultTrust list caused by the removal of that account by the parent account for inherited trust settings could all lead to a brutal change to the red of the trust rating of that account. tl;dr: don't get caught if the feedback is from Trusted Members, assuming you care about DefaultTrust (which is on by default AFAIK)

You may want to read about DefaultTrust (and its weaknesses) Obviously, if you haven't changed your trust list already, the green/red ones are those given by the members on the DefaultTrust list.

I'd buy LABCOIN shares, for what they're worth

We're definitely going 3xx again

Amazingly Josh is still answering questions on the BFL forum.
Why do you find that amazing? Well, aren't you still seeing what you can do? Maybe you should clarify the situation for the poor guys that are still in limbo?

I can't help thinking that one of the reasons why we'll see 3xx again soon, and maybe 2xx then is that a significant amount of the 25BTC / 10 min from mining is being sold instead of hoarded. I have no proof of this however, just a reasonable thought when you know how much power is needed per BTC output.

Et 10 ans plus tard (à 21 jours près...), ils se mirent en colère et commencèrent à dégommer des cochons. Sinon, WTF

I also have obsolete miners, like an ASICMiner Blade v1 that I bought for 50 BTC back in the days. I keep them as collector items just in case, and that's the only thing that I could recommend at this point. All of my miners (about 2 THS worth) have been unplugged for weeks now, even those at 1W/GHS. Maybe I'll move them to a friend's garage where he doesn't pay for power, but again that would just be anecdotal.
Bitcoin mining is just not worth it at the moment IMHO.

Hopefully this will be the end of the "Bitcoin = get rich quick" meme in the collective mind and its proponents will focus more on the technology rather than speculation. And I still believe that Bitcoin's future is more between financial intermediaries than for end users buying their groceries.

A blank test status IS of interest... Controller doesn't see any boards.
Insightful. Shipping might have loosened connectors between hashing boards and controller, might be the PSU too. I would try to open it and tighten every power/data connectors in sight. If hardware issues were to be ruled out (although it seems suspect as quoted above), you may want to try to proxy the connection through a stratum proxy for debugging purpose (or even netcat to debug at TCP level). I assume you've tried other pools already? Using pool IP address instead of hostname would also rule out DNS problems (unlikely IMO).
|
|
|
What makes you think it is a config problem rather than a hardware issue? Did it work previously?

WTF is this panic buy about

Constant denial, no matter what.
It's about time that you go homeless, as it could actually shatter your illusions.

Let me guess, you were there to get rich quick by just watching a ticker and it didn't work out. Bummer.
Now just open your spam folder and find your next investment opportunities. Good luck!

Did you register an account at Bitmine.ch by any chance? Not even talking about an order, just an account i.e. registered e-mail address See this threadAs a matter of fact I do have an account with bitmine.ch although I dont know why I set it up??? I never bought anything from them. I highly suspect that registered user accounts have been leaked, for the reasons stated in the thread linked above. I have no proof but many hints that make me believe so, and your answer is yet another one

Two weeks in a row I've received an invoice from them but I've NEVER ordered anything from them. Odd thing too is that the invoice is a .jar which makes me suspect the file to be some sort of trojan or virus.
Anyone else getting these?
