Very ambitious project, best of luck Devs! Anything having to do with staking, trading, and lending of cryptos right now is the way to go! Looking forward to more info and following along on this journey.

Very simple signup for Airdrop, many props for that alone! Cannot wait to see more information on this project. Also, kudos on the airdrop distribution.... equal allocation divided among all participants. Best of luck, looking forward to more!

I would also say the 5% house edge is extremely high. I just visit the site for the faucet and use the sats to buy tickets to the lottery also, although I'm not sure how legit that is either, as I've never seen anyone claiming they've won anything off of the lottery either. It is possible to get lucky there with the dice, just like any other dice site... you just have to know when to quit.

Why does it seem 95% of all the people hyping Yobit have less than 5 posts? lol. Seems pretty iffy to me. Although the site is pretty easy to navigate and use, and they have the free coins, I'm still not very comfortable depositing here.

I have also noticed lately that the blockchain.info wallet's "normal" fee calculations are very low recently. I always make sure to double check the backlog and set my own fee manually so that this doesn't happen. I almost missed one a while back, and if I wouldn't have caught it, I'd probably still have a transactions stuck for 3 weeks now. It is always best to set a custom fee (on wallets that allow it) to avoid "stuck" transactions.

I also use Bittrex for the most part, but also EtherDelta for Ethereum ERC20 tokens. I have also used Shapeshift in the past for quick swaps, but their fees can be quite high sometimes. However, as I type this, it seems that Bittrex may be down at the moment...

I cannot, for the life of me, see anything that would prohibit it from connecting...
Yea, thats strange, considering you have brand-new wallet installed. Perhaps, add upnp=0 to bitsend.conf and see how it goes. If you want to keep trying, join t.me\bsd_bitsend I've joined on telegram, but it appears empty at the moment. I'll check back later. If I wanted to just move the wallet from the laptop that won't connect to the working one, is it just as simple as replacing the wallet.dat file with the backed up one from the bad wallet and then doing a -rescan?

In my humble opinion, investing all of your savings in cryptos is a somewhat risky move. If you stick to your guns and hold it for the long term (5-10 years) as you say, it could definitely payoff very nicely. It will potentially payoff much higher than your "normal" investment options drawing interest, stocks and bonds, mutual funds, etc. However, putting all of your eggs in one basket so to speak (yes I know it is 3 different cryptos, but all crypto nonetheless), just like any other investment, there is a chance it all could come crashing down around us. Maybe invest 50-75% in cryptos "just in case" and the rest in more typical options, just to be safe.

I tried to run it in "safe mode with networking" and same result, still no connections. I also rechecked the firewall settings and permissions, everything looks correct (everything involving bitsend is "allowed"). I also tried disabling the firewall completely as well, still no luck. I cannot, for the life of me, see anything that would prohibit it from connecting...

If computers are on the same network, then something blocking UPnP connections from withing program. You have to look over your firewall rules, it could be default firewall, or may be replaced with something like COMODO AV Firewall. You can check it by loading PC in "safe mode with networking". Thank you for the great info! I will try loading it in safe mode once I get some time this evening and see what I can find.
