641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your family thinks about that you into crypto on: August 12, 2019, 11:06:05 AM
Most of them doubt me and thinks that I am just wasting my time on it.
But once they've seen how much I have been earning they didn't talk much and some of them get interested in crypto .
Of course it would always be like that we always need to show the result before they change their mind about it.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you received Bitcoin from this wallet on: August 12, 2019, 09:44:41 AM
since they know where you are and can track the transaction to you. all you can do is give it back and provide proof that you don't have the capability
to hack a major exchange site. also they can't prove that you are the one who hacked the exchange site. you can just give the o'l "Didn't do it" if they
ever decided to involve the police. also the court will just drop the case because the opponent lacks evidence to pin you that you are the one who hacked
the site.
Yes if that ever happens then the best thing that you could do is return the money from the exchange to clear your name.
Besides who would risk their life for a short fun and excitement surely when something like that happens there would be some people who would gain interest on you and it would put your life at stake.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin, a future is not clear on: August 11, 2019, 03:24:52 PM
After researching the news sources, I decided to pledge my land and houses worth $ 40000. I use it to buy 4 Bitcoin
I will rent a small apartment with my family
I'm happy now
I believe that the BTC will increase to $ 20k next year.
It is a huge risk and I hope you could manage it very well .
But even though I believe in crypto I wouldn't risk something like that I mean most of us here would want to have our own house and working in crypto to achieve it so for me my family's home would be my priority.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Cryptocurrency? on: August 11, 2019, 09:20:51 AM
We all know that Bitcoin isn't the first cryptocurrency or digital currency.
There were so many digital currency before Bitcoin but they all fail and for me Satoshi gets all the information that is needed in order to make this work or become successful from the previous digital currencies.
There is a lot of video and articles that you could use to enlighten yourself about this topic.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Song about Bitcoin called Bitcoin Billionaire on: August 11, 2019, 07:20:45 AM
I think this sort of stuff tend to mislead people who do not really know much about the bitcoin, they listen to this sort of music and think they can just come into the system and become billionaires overnight, that being said when they get in and discover it's actually more strenuous than they thought, they begin to moan about the system. But you and i know it takes way more than that, patience in every sense of the word must be a present factor.

I nevertheless appreciate the effort of the artist in trying to draw the attention of people to the bitcoin network, I just hope it serves it's right/correct purpose.
I agree it could be misleading but it would help to promote crypto and for those who would come to crypto industry because of this song ,
Well they might know the truththe hard way if they wouldn't do their own research but I guess everyone should know something before they invest on it.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov'ts and Institutions buying up Bitcoin on: August 10, 2019, 07:44:41 AM
I think government and institutions don't want the public to know how much coins they are buying and I'm not surprised at all. After all, bitcoin has been made available to everyone and anyone can purchase this anytime.

I think that large investors and companies buy cryptocurrencies, they just do not publicize this.
Yes and I think they are keeping it secret because not everyone accepts or know how it really works.
But we could never know unless there would be a solid proof on it.
Who knows maybe some of them might have been playing or trading for a long time now.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 17,800,000 BTC already mined on: August 04, 2019, 12:59:25 PM
Anyone noticed that we have breached 17,800,000 BTC already? Which means that 85% of all BTC have been mined. And in the next 10+ years we can all assumed that 'almost' all bitcoin is mined already. Have you accumulated at least 1 BTC in your wallet?

Current bitcoin mined:  17,851,062 BTC

At the moment miners are rewarded with 12.5BTC per block mined. In 2020 it will reduce to 6.25BTC per block mined. There is a block reward halving every 4 years so if you do the maths the very last bitcoin will be mined in approx, the year 2140.
therefore bitcoin will be minable for a good few years, but i believe that as they are less and less undermined their value will grow out of all proportion,i think it's the right time to start accumulating them(btc)...
I also agree we have to start saving some Sats since most of us couldn't really save a whole BTC.
I was also close on achieving 1 BTC back in 2017 through bounty and trading.
So I hope that soon I could achieve that goal and have my very first whole BTC.
648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news! Bitcoin Price Breaks $10K Barrier on: August 04, 2019, 11:35:09 AM
At least it is being stable in 5 digit or close in 5 digit zone.
Let's just wish that it wouldn't get down below $5K again like before.
So for now let's just enjoy it there are some who still thinks that it could get way higher than $15K before this year ends.
649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don;t be tempted to Sell OUT; HODL on: August 04, 2019, 03:46:55 AM
Well we all have different needs and perspective some of us doesn't want to sell but doesn't have a choice.
So even if we want to HODL we couldn't do it.
But I agree that it is better to hold than to sell now.
650  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: August 03, 2019, 11:10:40 AM
Is KYC is benefit to crypto people or not. what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing KYC.

Universal money and Anonymous is the biggest strength of btc BTC, now every country follows KYC and then it can be controlled by someone.

Now KYC is trend in crypto market..... Cheesy
I don't think that it has benifit for us we are just giving away our freedom the freedom that crypto currency gave us.
We are giving up our anonymity and it is counter to why crypto has been created.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: On Bitcoin and old-timers on: August 03, 2019, 03:22:01 AM
It is often said and then repeated that Bitcoin is not for the masses and definitely not for old-timers as it is too difficult to understand:

Well, I can't blame them for that. Americans had been told for years that Bitcoin is a bubble and that investing in it is insanity. Most of them had listened to the advice of "experts" and never invested in Bitcoin, but those who decided to take risks despite the persistent cautions, have made good money along the way.

And now, when BTC after dropping from almost $20k to almost $3k has started rising again instead of going to zero, as those experts predicted, people have decided to stop believing them. Quite a logical decision, if you ask me.
Except they don’t understand the technology of bitcoin fully because if they do, I am not sure that anyone will be able to talk them out of investing in bitcoin or using it as payment system when they know that the se of bitcoin fully protects the user again anyone knowing about the transaction. So, if they really had interest in it from the onset, then they should have already invested in it long time again when they had the chance

But how many of us actually understand how Bitcoin works internally, even partially?

I don't think that many. The truth is, it is not required to be a certified mechanical engineer (or whatever) to drive a car. In some cases you don't even need a driving license. For example, the British queen drives without one and she is an old-timer without reservations. Long story short, you don't need to understand the technology behind Bitcoin to invest in it, though you definitely should understand how the market works. But once you get the hang of it, you are no longer tied to, or constrained by, Bitcoin specifically (and its technology). In other words, everyone should be able to buy low and sell high (okay, invest profitably) these days, and there should be no exception for old-timers, and still less for those to become them one day (read, us)
For what it's worth it is true and I strongly agree we don't need to know too much on how things work in Bitcoin or crypto.
We just need to know how to use it and how to protect our funds to be honest when I started earning in cryptoI didn't have much knowledge about it, All I know is it is a money created in the internet and it could be used to earn Fiat.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If they banned bitcoin in your Country (just clone a representation of it) on: August 02, 2019, 09:54:23 PM
Why not use another crypto there are somany alt-coin out there so why wate time cloning it?
Besides even if you clone it surely it wouldn't be 1:1 ratio .
So why not jump into another alt-coin.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: August 02, 2019, 06:50:25 PM
your title is very wrong, you can not blame bitcoin, you must blame your brother. bitcoin has no legs, no head and no arms... is just a code programmed by very smart people. bitcoin does not have any power to hurt people. Your brother was very reckless and mean. I'm sorry for your suffering
I also agree with slow death because it was your brothers fault.
Even if it is not Bitcoin the fact that he become addicted to gambling even if he doesn't get into Bitcoin back then it would only be a matter of time before he do it.
Your brother become greedy and that's what destroy him and your family I think that he really needs some help.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Crowdsource A Symbol For The Satoshi? on: August 02, 2019, 05:12:03 PM
We have BTC why we need another symbol?
It's like creating another symbol for only Ray Tomlinson besides the simbol @ for email.

If you think to represent satoshis (as unit of value) we have already mBTC which works great. The $ sign is same, same sign for cents.

So what will be the purpose for it ?

Well, you know, i expect Bitcoin to increase it's value in the next years. So i think the Satoshi symbol will be more used and more important in the future.
I think we already have enough symbols and I agree mBTC is already there so why should we need another symbol for sats?
I mean mBTC is there but only few are using it most of us are still using BTC instead of mBTC so why bother creating another symbol?
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett's obsession with physical things, gets in his way to see the gem on: August 01, 2019, 07:09:05 AM
Everyone have a different perspective there are some who value something while other see's it as something useless.
We shouldn't judge others base on what they value and we don't have to critize others for what they want.
Everyone of us have different interest so we should just respect each other and don't let others affect your decission.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: August 01, 2019, 02:31:45 AM
For me it is better to buy at an exchange rather than  their token sale.
I mean back im 2017 surely it is profitable to get it on their sale because of their bonus and back then most of the time the token or crypto would reach or even surpass their ICO price but now most of them wouldn't even reach half of their offering price.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Birthday ETH on: July 30, 2019, 09:31:59 PM
It is 30 july 2015 when ETH initially was released. Everyone here might have noticed the amazing work done by ETH team. It is all there efforts that ETH stands the second coin in Crypto coin List.
Wow I didn't know about it and it is true july 30 is ETH's Birthday .
And it is truly amazing and nice job for the team on always making sure that it is working perfectly.
It's been 4 years since it was release so many things happen and it is still standing strong hope that it would continue it's work and stay at the top list .
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most new ICO/IEO projects are new crypto trading platforms on: July 30, 2019, 08:33:11 PM
While I was scanning through the bounty board section to find a good ICO/IEO to participate and earn a few bucks, I noticed most of these projects are creating/building cryptocurrency exchange. That means it will be a trading platform. All of them promising to be the best exchange ever. All of them showing that none of the present exchange has features like them, what they will bring once successfully raise funds.

Well, do you think exchange like Binance, Huobi, Bitmex can't satisfy users? Do you think, the crypto world needs these new trading platforms?
It is true more and more exchange are being created but the question is why should we choose them?
What could they provide us other than what is already being given to us by the old and trusted exchanges?
Those new exchange should at least make something new in order to attract us to use their platform .
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: July 27, 2019, 02:09:26 PM
Understand who controls the market you are investing or trading in, and you’ll have an advantage. Bitcoin is a free and open source market. Nobody owns it.

But does anyone control it?

Ask yourself this—

How are Bitcoins created?

Who is incentivised to create Bitcoin?

Between 2013 and the beginning of 2017, big money had been slowly moving in on Bitcoin. They saw its potential as a relatively rare asset and also the mechanism that made it work. Bitcoin is seen as having a value greater than the sum of its parts.
Everyone controls it we all have a part of it but the Whales play a huge part of course,
It would alwaysbe the huge owners who would be the ones in control just like in real world those who have the money also have the power.
660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 Basic Tips For Currency Trading Success on: July 26, 2019, 01:19:20 PM
About the second tip...

Quote
Tip #2 - Educate yourself as much as possible on how the markets work

Crypto markets are unpredictable and they don't follow a tendency, a good example is the clam dump we say the past weeks, it crashes from 0.0024 to 0.0005, lost close to 80% of its value and even the more expert don't see that coming.

Highly disagree. Crypto market is predictable most of the times but of course it won't be always accurate and there are some unknown factors that might destroy a token, that's why not everyone is rich right now but the fact that you can predict some changes is the reason there are a lot of crypto traders that earn comfortably by just doing that. If this was not the case then it's not trading and it should be called gambling.

If you are also a trader like me and enjoy trading alts, i recommend you to go for Switchdex.ag and get their whitelist which will allow you to trade without fees forever. I think you can obtain this whitelist at Switch.ag
I agree that no matter how you educate yourself it wouldn't always be enough like what seoincorp has said.
And just because there are some people who predict some movements that doesn't guarantee anything some of them are blindly guessing and let's face it trading in crypto is much more different compare to stocks and other things.
And surely there isn't a person who didn't lose some on his/her crypto holdings back in the huge dump in 2018 so it should be enough proof that no matter how much you educate yourself you couldn't always win in crypto market.
