6401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SignalProfits? on: June 20, 2019, 09:33:14 PM
Recently had this company recommended to me. Has anyone used it? Do you find a good percentage of the signals work? They have a 2 week trial for very cheap but monthly, its very expensive lol.... Wanted to get some opinions from you guys

Professional traders are very busy to the point that they can't even give spare time sharing authentic and reasonable signals. Therefore, what you encounter is surely a pump and dump group that will lure you into something.

Ignored it. You can ride the market on your own.

What's the company name? Disclosed it here.
6402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA to launch virtual sports betting game on: June 20, 2019, 09:11:59 PM
I guess it's a good news, but honestly I never tried virtual betting, can anyone educate me how it is done?
I'm a big fan of sports betting and I also bet in NBA games, but this one seems new to me but I'm kind of interested if I will learn how to do it.

According to the statement here....

"NBA Last 90" will drop contestants into the final 90 seconds of a simulated matchup between two NBA teams and offer wagering propositions on what transpires during the ending of a fictitious game.

..there will several be outcomes. Meaning all winnings will be based on RGN (random number generator). Just like playing in a house edge gambling games.

I didn't see any involvement of "crypto" here so I think it's not the right time to discuss this.

Virtual sports  Shocked

After literally copying here the entire content on the site, this is the only own thoughts you have made? lol.
6403  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: starcoine.com scam on: June 20, 2019, 08:46:04 PM
No, of course, I'm not crazy. I have a goal to warn others  Smiley

Therefore you know that it's already sh*t.

You are expecting to receive some too? Why just brought that up now? Because they didn't give you the winnings? You really wait for 2 days if they will make a payment which is obviously will not happen. You can warn others the moment the site gave you some payment requirements.

Anyways, the site you have mentioned is similar to those sites that being spammed here in the community. Same system, just different URL.

Here's the list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5081286.0
6404  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can a site in BETA be posted here for pre-launch feedback? on: June 20, 2019, 11:23:51 AM
This is the current plan. Bonus on initial deposits. The problem is that we also offer no-registration bets, so I'm not sure how we'll regulate the bonus in those cases.

Since no account is being made, then they can't initiate a deposit. Therefore, no bonus. Include that on the terms. Or just give them perks/rewards/points or whatever you want to call it depends on the numbers of winning bets they made by the same BTC address (withdrawals).

To summarize:

-The deposit bonus will only be applied to those who opted to register on the site as obviously, they will have access to the deposit page.
-Those bets that will be made via no-registration will also have a sort of rewards (earnings points) depends on their made winnings (verification via used BTC address as withdrawal).

Just my 2 cents.

6406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading day? on: June 20, 2019, 09:03:12 AM
This is very helpful, thanks!
Could you please describe your trading day?

I'm kind of a researcher and I want to start trading in the future. I want to know what to expect from trading and how to get ready for it.

As a researcher like you have mentioned, you can have an insight of what can you expect from trading with lots of various guides, advice, recommendations etc. on the internet. Lots of resources already available out there if the purpose is only about preparations of doing trades.

About self-experience, I don't really understand what you meant behind "what's our trading day". Do you mean the literal time of the day? No, it's not how trades work. You will deal with the volatility here so anytime will do. Even for let's say you want to trade in the morning, if the price movement is not yet favored according to your own criteria then that's it. You will still come again, later on, to check unless you are on HODL status (hold)..

If you pointing about day trades, then you will likely have to watch closely your trades regularly as you need to execute your strategy on a shorter timeframe.
6407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 20, 2019, 08:18:10 AM
A player leaving the team after a winning season? Is this common in the NBA? I reckon the Raptors will give Kawhi a big bonus and a big increase to the money the pay him to keep him.

Toronto Raptors will surely offer a luring contract.

However, we all know that Kawhi did not really prefer joining the Raptors prior to the season. He just wants to get out from the vicinity of San Antonio Spurs so any 1-year deal with any teams will do. Now that he worked together with the Raptors especially they got the Larry O' Brien trophy, we don't know if something changes his mind along the way.

I'd love to bet in the NBA futures again, and I think Lakers has a shot of winning, I won't bet I guess on the Raptors as I believe there will be no repeat, also the odds would not be attractive anymore.

Does NBA futures pick already out now? Didn't check it yet.

How sure you are the Raptors won't have an attractive odds? We are talking about speculating next champs here so surely Raptors will have an attractive odds. And trade deadline is way long over so definitely it will be changed prior 2019-20 NBA season. Way more realistic to expect a decent odds for Raps compare to Golden State Warriors honestly.
6408  Economy / Economics / Re: Repeating of all time high has begun on: June 20, 2019, 07:50:36 AM
Hope reaching another ATH will not happen sooner.

Believed me, it's not yet ready. Reaching a new ATH for let's say this year will just create another year-long bearish market like what happened last year. Let expect that to happen maybe next year or 2.

Let the progress flows without an aggressive push. We need a good foundation for each price jump before going to another one. We are already here and we don't want to start again from scratch. I like to see first the $10,000+ price level as the new solid bottom sooner or later compare to reaching a new ATH.
6409  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Be careful of asking Non collateral loans outside the local on: June 20, 2019, 07:26:48 AM
I once took a loan back then (my first loan), Senior member rank that time if I'm not mistaken, without collateral, without any lending history and presto, the loan was filled in just a few minutes.

Not necessary talaga for me na lagyan ng negative trust ang isang user for a no-collateral loan (except newcomers at obvious sh*t).

Sa case dyan sa taas, ang nangyari kasi is "exceptional" dahil na rin siguro sa current status ng account nung borrower, for let's say, ok lang sya mag default since wala rin mawawala sa account. Kumbaga pabenta na. Unlike in my case, kasali ako sa signature campaign that time and talagang active na parang non-sense if sasayangin ko ang account for BTC0.05 (disregarding the rates back then compare today).

Ok lang naman magtry ng no-collateral loan. Minsan may gipit talaga e. Nasa lender naman ang final decision kasi magkakaroon naman ng background check. Mali kasi nitong isa, masyadong mataas ang hinihinging loan and talagang candidate na puwede sya mag default.
6410  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Q]Withdrawing BTC to Singapore on: June 20, 2019, 07:04:50 AM
There's a few ATMs yes, check my links.
You can also have a look as suggested at coinatmradar.com. You'll get the addresses there.
The only place I went to that accepted payment in cryptos was the Ducatus Cafe.

Nice. I've just checked today the links you have shared. Awesome references you have there. Smiley

Locking this thread now as all shared references here are enough already I guess.

Feel free to hit me a PM if anyone has other recommendations or suggestions.

Thanks, everyone.
6411  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Q]Withdrawing BTC to Singapore on: June 19, 2019, 11:56:59 PM
Where did you find that "SGD50/DAY" limit? I can't seem to find it... that looks very low.

I think on their Facebook page via your shared link. Will recall later once I get home.

Anyhow, for unregistered customers, 50SGD looks pretty fine to me since it's just a week-long stay and my only purpose is about financial backup just in case. Way better than nothing although I don't know how much the power value of having a 50SGD in Singapore. Based on the current conversion in USD, it's about $35 so it can save a day, at least.

I've used Bitaccess ATMs before (it should be the same) and basically, the limits are set per phone number so If you have multiple numbers, you can clearly bypass those without any KYC verification needed. If you wish to go through the verification process and increase your limits, there should be a camera/scanner in the ATM for that purpose, you just need your passport or whatever ID.

As for how the ATMs work, the ATM will give you a QR code, you'll scan it and send the bitcoins. You will have to wait for a few confirmations but don't have to sit there waiting, you can go and come back another time.
The ATM will send you an SMS code when the transaction has been confirmed, and you could use that SMS to withdraw your funds anytime. (Maybe there is a limit set of how many hours or days, but that should be explained in the SMS).

KYC seems to be out of my option now since I'm just a traveller there for a week. Good thing, I can able to access the machines there even without undergoing on it although the limit is surely low.

I will purchase a new SIM exclusive for SG's data providers since I also need mobile internet data throughout our stay. I will use that for accessing the ATM.

I went there in March and explored the local Bitcoin scene a bit.

Awesome.

Do you actually see a Bitcoin ATM's there around? Can you tell me the location just for reference? Might be nearby to our expected places to visit.

How about stores that accept crypto? Do you see those personally?
6412  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can a site in BETA be posted here for pre-launch feedback? on: June 19, 2019, 11:33:30 PM
Thanks. Do you think it would be more appropriate here or on the Project Development board?

Since it will now be on BETA LIVE, you can post it here in this section.

When is the pre-launch?

Any ETA's?
6413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ****Warning to all Cryptonier that use Firefox browser*** on: June 19, 2019, 10:42:58 PM

According to the report, the vulnerability was reported by Coinbase Security. More likely, the attacks are related to cryptocurrency in some way. Damn hackers really focus on doing some sh*t in the crypto world.

Updating to the given newest patch/update/version of Firefox is the most obvious way to deal with this, there are internet guys who are not aware of doing a manual update. So hope that Firefox users will read this.

I'm using Firefox as a separate browser to my other works so I'm up to date with the version. They are still one of the fastest browsers for me alongside Google Chrome so will not refrain using it.
6414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Buy The Dip on: June 19, 2019, 10:01:29 PM
So here is my new guide - or you can say it is the second part of the trading guide - https://paybis.com/blog/how-to-buy-the-dip/

My own approach on that "buy the dip" depends on the current price behaviour or the so-called "price trend". Sometimes, even the price dip already meets my criteria and I'm confident enough that "it's the right time to make a "re-entry", still, I hesitate to initiate the buy action because of other factors. I do take advantage of the dip not because for short-term trades but for a purpose of continuous accumulation then hodl.

Nice article you have there. Well-detailed and also have a sort of disclaimer. Can be a reference to those traders who wants to add some knowledge about trading stuff. Keep it up.
6415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 19, 2019, 09:25:51 PM

And in the end, AD still goes to Lakers. Damn, if I were the Pelicans they should have acted on the first drama to acquired Kuzma too then market the others.

I do agree with you. Kuzma is one of my favorites that will just need some polish to become one of the stars of the NBA.
But, the trade aint that bad. Ingram can be one of the best player also which moves like Durant and with almost the same body figure which will be difficult to defend once he masters his perimeter shots.

Yes, overall the trade isn't bad. Pelicans won also on this trade although we can just see the result for maybe the next 2-3 seasons or if......

..more importantly, Pelicans should not stop acquiring role players. They are really sucked building a great team. Look how they wasted Anthony Davis talent for several seasons without even attempting to compete in the big market to find a good player to join alongside with the superstar.

Aren't you going to add Patrick McCaw?  Grin He is hot with 3 rings.  Cheesy

He is the lucky charm of Toronto Raptors so I guess he will not be traded.

Danny Green mentioned that before. Cheesy

The Raptors were destined to be NBA champions, nobody expect them in this position when the season starts then came playoff time suddenly all the stars aligned in their favor. That lucky bounced that won them the series against the Sixers and injuries to the Warriors KD and Klay when they are needed on their team while the Raptors remain healthy all the way.

Stop finding a reason why the Raptors won. It's not luck. They worked on it.

Move on guys.
6416  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 19, 2019, 09:05:27 PM
Now I know, kaya pala may nareceived akong (and to others as well) text message about sa EgiveCash kahit via coins.ph tayo nagcacashout kasi:

Quote
Individuals who send/receive more than Php 5,000 per transaction for 6 consecutive months.
Individuals who send/receive less than or equal to P5,000 per transaction for 6 consecutive months and have a total EGC transaction of more than P100,000 in a year.

Quote
If you’re a frequent EGC beneficiary, fill out our EGC KYC Regularization Form and present 1 valid primary ID or 2 secondary IDs at any Security Bank Branch and you’re good to go.  This will allow us to efficiently monitor and verify all transactions for regular customers.
6417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 18, 2019, 11:37:41 PM

I think either Chris or Mike D'Antoni heads will roll next season. I agree that Paul wanted to change the direction of the team, but James Harden is still the alpha in Houston, so pretty sure that the management will stick to him and probably let either Chris or Mike go.

While there is an on-going "tension" and an issue about "pride management" between these two (Paul and Harden), still no such thing as "trading one of them" as the possible and priority solution for this mess. The trading rumors involving them are not that buzzing.

Rockets goal back then is to target another big fish in the next free agency to join alongside with their 2 superstars and I think they will pursue it. The reason also that's why I didn't list the names of these 2 on my list-to-follow in my recent post.

Let's see how this Rockets drama will end up.
6418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks to consider before trading? on: June 18, 2019, 10:58:44 PM
Any other risks that I should be aware of before fully immersingm yself into trading crypto?

https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/top-5-risks-to-consider-before-beginning-your-trading-career/

Let me know please, want to get as much help as possible!

Just by reading those 5 risks listed on the site you have shared, that's enough already to understand what kind of things you will expect to face once you start doing trades. Read carefully and try to understand what are those.

If that's not enough, I don't know what kind of "help" do you want, as in here, you are asking for a complete spoonfeed guide from a scratch.

Other things can learn all the way. You just need to stay focus and relax. Spend time learning the basics. It's fine to experienced loss at the start. What matters in the early phase is to understand how to start trades e.g placing buy and sell orders, learning the platform interface, etc.
6419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Surge to 62k! on: June 18, 2019, 10:04:36 PM
This is some sort of speculation and some sort of technical analysis, do you believe that this might happen, for me the former ATH is possible but if this will happen it will truly shock the industry and the people who does not know crypto yet.

I will just include it to another list of speculations we have. The same approach to others analysis around, no one knows what will happen.

Reaching another ATH is always possible even during times of the year-long bearish market. Therefore, it has always rooms to happen. The question is "when".

Some of the recent technical analysis is based on bitcoin's price recent movement and behaviour. Since we can clearly see the dominance of green candles, expect that most analysis will always be pointing upwards. It will create a good hype resulting for more buying action. But always remember that the momentum can be spoiled anytime. I like how the price is behaving this year, not making a quick jump but also has some dips along the way. Slow progress with strong foundation compares to 2017 hype. I don't mind waiting for more years just to reach another ATH. As long as every price level established a good foundation, we can't expect that there will be no such thing as a big crash that will happen on the way. Don't want to see bitcoin price reaching below $3,000 after many years of withstanding the volatility.
6420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategic Withdrawal of Bitcoin on: June 18, 2019, 09:32:45 PM
Bitcoin is in a parabolic pattern. My Bitcoin is sitting in cold storage. What is the best strategy to eventually cash out and profit?

How long now do your precious coins sit at the cold storage/i]?

Why decided to store it in cold storage?

My current vision is:
When the parabolic goes way up I will sell my Bitcoin at Coinbase for fiat in chunks that are under $1,000 each.
When it goes way down again I will buy back more Bitcoin at Coinbase in chunks under $1,000 each.

Then followed it and see how's that strategy of yours will be effective in the long run.

Since we have a different approach to something especially "to sell", we might have a different result even if we told you our own way. So put on a test and see if your "vision" will lead you into a decent profit in the long run. If not, then modify it based on "what if".
