6401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why HODLers now pray for banks and institutions to enter if Bitcoin... on: December 01, 2018, 09:54:46 PM
...was supposed to free us from them? Huh

This is a free market, everyone who want's to enter can join specially Banking institutions. They have deep pockets which means more money can be injected into the ecosystem that may push the price to another level.

We know for the fact that banks wanted to always makes profits so it makes sense for them to enter as well. I also don't think that HOLDers are praying for banks to enter Bitcoin, maybe want they wanted is for everyone to enter and Bitcoin be adopted globally.
6402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no magic in trading on: November 28, 2018, 11:44:15 PM
Definitely there's no magic in making money in trading. But the problem is that there are a lot of people who thinks that trading is very easy and it's a get rich scheme, which is not. And it doesn't mean that someone because successful, you will have to copy his method.

Everyone is up there, you just have to find the right groove and see what trading methods fits your goal. No need to make things complicated for you, it's not rocket science, you just have to look at it like a journey and every small steps is a lessons to learn.
6403  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: November 28, 2018, 11:24:18 PM
many people say that cryptocurrency will die because the price of bitcoin continues to decline, but in my opinion cryptocurrency has a very bright future. there is nothing to worry about, the market is being manipulated now.

We have seen the price declined in the past as well, much worst than what we are seeing today and yet bitcoin or crypto has survived, on the contrary they multiple many times.

And we need to understand that the market works in a cycle, a lot of of ups and down but at the end, it will survived so there's nothing to worry about the price going down at this point. We will eventually see a new cycle begins and the price will slowly rise again.
6404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xmas Bull Run!! on: November 28, 2018, 07:42:52 AM
I have been waiting for the arrival of the bull market, so I have not left the market so far, because encryption is still very promising, because the blockchain always coexists with crypto!

Then you have to wait till 2019 because we haven't heard the herd yet. The bears is still in control of this market and as we thought that December will be the start of the bull run.

So for me, I also taken a step back and will just waited it out till the end of the year and see how it goes in 2019. I also have a lot of plans this December, but nah, need to go back to my Plan B, hahaha. That is try to save money and look for the long haul.
6405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will return $1500? on: November 28, 2018, 07:17:19 AM
Since bitcoin dropped to $4000 below i don't have any plan to sold my bitcoin but $1500 is very low even that would be the deeper price for bitcoin in this year if this is happened but it could be very wise if bitcoin fall again people don't to panic and buy more but currently i wish i could buy more bitcoin

It would be a big opportunity for everyone to snatch a lot of bitcoins is the price goes @$1500. Its like the price early 2017, wherein it was pump because of the Winklevoss first bitcoin ETF if I'm not mistaken around Feb of 2017.

But it looks like the price is holding around $3k-$3500, so there's a lot of support at this price. However, we can't discount the fact that there are still speculators selling-off, afraid of what they have seen on the market started November so I wouldn't be surprised if the price goes deep and low @$1500.
6406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: These 24 ICOs raised $2.8 Billion. They have almost 0 trading volume. on: November 27, 2018, 07:13:50 PM
Its because everything is pegged to Bitcoin market. And since Bitcoin has suffered as well, it trickled down to altcoin markets. Specially along the stretch beginning in June. There are some successful ICO is 2018, but there are no holders and buyers.

Mostly, bounty hunters just dump and then ICO projects as well. Just look at how ETH suffered and you will see how everyone is really dumping after the tokens have been released and listed on an exchange. So I'm not surprised if there no volume of most successful ICO's in 2017/2018.
6407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin price will bottom out at $3000? on: November 27, 2018, 07:04:18 PM
At this point, everything is possible. The selling pressure is very real so I wouldn't be surprised if we bottom at lows $3K. The bears are not yet done, they are not exhausted so there are a lot of pressure selling.

And there are no people buying as well. Other's say BTFD, but no one is making a move because of the negative sentiments specially when BAKKT postponed their offering. I think its the last straw that's why we see fresh round of dumping in the last 48 hours or so.
6408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Black Friday on: November 25, 2018, 05:21:31 AM
I think the market dip has nothing to do with the Black Friday event as this could just be coincidental. BTC is now below $4K and the lowest market value this year could be a great opportunity in buying btc at this lower price and consider long term investment until it will reached another ATH.  I believe that rest assured you may able to gain good promising profit when that happens and even if take a longer time, it's definitely worth of waiting.

We will always look for reasons as to why the market reacted last 48 hours. Did really Black Friday affected the price? or not? We can all just speculate on it.

But if you look at the bright side, we may have seen the bottom, and this is the best buying options until the next bull cycle started again but we need to wait a bit longer perhaps a whole year as well to be able to get a good returns for everyone.
6409  Economy / Economics / Re: Warning - The price will drop more on Black Friday! DO NOT Panic. on: November 25, 2018, 05:08:44 AM
Maybe Black Friday's effect is still influencing the price. Because, the price drop was not felt so much at the same day, but now if you check the price of Bitcoin, you can see the price is below 4k. As though Black day didn't leave much impact on the price.
As they said, at this time the price of bitcoin is weakening again, really extreme changes, very likely to go back down because panic selling still seems to occur. so I hope you are careful when you want to take advantage of the current conditions..

Yes, this is like the complete opposite of what we have witnessed last year. In any case, I would take this opportunity to bag more coins in my wallet.

As for the case of the slump again, I can only speculate that people are losing faith and would rather wait it out this the market goes on a reversal before purchasing again, but I don't like that strategy.
6410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP outperformed Ethereum in capitalization on: November 24, 2018, 05:30:21 AM
XRP and Ethereum has been battling it out for the second spot for a couple of months now and it looks like they succeeded this time. It has outperformed (more trade volumes) since the slump and it didn't have the hard dump that we're expecting at least on my part.

But if you're a serious investors, you can still enjoy the best of both worlds, at this point they're both still cheap so take advantage of the situation.
6411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whose advice you take when it comes to Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2018, 05:18:13 AM
Hi guys,
I was reading this:
https://news.bitcoin.com/survey-finds-john-mcafee-is-most-influential-crypto-trading-figure/
today and i was interested if you agree with the article?
When you take decisions regarding Bitcoin, do you follow one's advice or you do investments as you wish?

Lol. I don't take that guy seriously because he charges money shilling for coins. So that doesn't go along with what a influencer is, like Andreas Antonopoulos.

So I don't follow anyone's advise, actually I do read some predictions but it doesn't mean I will follow them by heart. At the end of the day you should make your own decision, just saying.
6412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This why you shouldn't be worried on: November 22, 2018, 03:41:55 AM
For me, as long as bitcoin is fighting and have resistance then no point of worrying too much. As long as I can see that there's still people buying, using and trading bitcoin and there's resistance to go much lower then I'm still on this ride.
Right... A terrible market for investors who don't understand how bitcoin is driven. Although the case of the fall in the price of bitcoin is not the same from year to year, this technology is quite well used in the financial sector. Anyone who is familiar with this technology, surely will not leave it. For some traders, this might be a nightmare.

Well for some newbie traders, its a nightmare because no one has seen this dramatic fall although I have seen others making a prediction as early as 2018 that we will see a dramatic fall but not of this magnitude.

We can't really do anything but we do have a choice. HODL. There's no way that you should sell at this point otherwise you will just take a loss. And everyone should look at their investment for the long haul because that's what's separate a smart investor to a a dumb investor. Those dumb investors panics sell their coins and then bitch around, while smart investors stays cools and became rich overtime.
6413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to Riple? on: November 22, 2018, 03:21:07 AM
The market fell by more than 30% in less than a week. Nevertheless, this drop did not significantly affect the Ripple cryptocurrency. What is the reason for such growth, because there is no news on it?

Its because its a centralizes coin and people thinks its a safe haven for now. Its been in the top 2 after the drama that BCH brought to us and the momentum is still there and its trading volume is somewhat not going down as well.

Yes, there's no news like you said, we can only speculate that maybe the people behind is also doing its share like pumping the coins etc..
6414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin 4500 or 4000 $ ??? on: November 20, 2018, 11:43:35 PM
This is not the first time bitcoin has fallen dramatically, if you look at history, it has several times fallen to the lowest level and then surpassed the target or forecast of people. The possibility of going down could happen to touch $ 4k because it is currently around $ 4.4k

Its already $4.3 so there's a possibility that we don't see the bottom yet for this year. Yes, it's sad to see how the market will end this year, I would have took $6.5 any day, unfortunately, those greedy people started to act like kids because one of them wanted the bigger lollipop. Lmao.

Ver and CW should kiss and make up make crypto great again.  Grin, but since they wanted to have tons of money, I doubt this will happened, let their fight because I believed that at the end of the day Bitcoin will still flourish.
6415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New forecast for the market, what should we expect? on: November 20, 2018, 11:26:18 PM
A Bloomberg Crypto analyst predicts a large market surge and that bitcoin remains on a bearish trend. What are your thoughts? How will XRP, Tron, Ethereum, Stellar, Bitcoin Cash behave?

Obviously, we remain bearish because of the recent event (BCHABC vs BCHSV). My thoughts is that its already a messed so its going to be hard to fix it. We would understand if there's some FUD coming from least say a banks or something, we can easily recover from that.

But the messed those greedy person created is hard to predict as we don't know if Bitcoin has bottom already. So we can't do anything at this point, but continue to hold and wait for the bulls to appear.
6416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin. What is possibly happening on: November 18, 2018, 11:39:03 AM
nah, you have not yet seen a cryptocurrency bear market if you think THIS is a bear market Cheesy
this is nothing compared to them. in cryptocurrency world when we say we are in a bear market it means you should expect price to be lower at least 30% within a week and by the end of the month reach at least -50% which is obviously not the case here. the altcoins may still be in one but not bitcoin.

Exactly, that's why I find it funny people becoming so paranoid after the recent price decline. If they really don't like what they are seeing they can simply get out.

I even see one thread saying the XRP are more stable than bitcoin? Lol. I guess we have a idea what had happened last Wednesday, its beyond our control now. Let Bitcoin Cash war each other, I believed that in the long run we can see a reversal, most probably next year.
6417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does holding really make us avoid losses? on: November 17, 2018, 09:52:25 AM
Whenever coins prices fall, there are always many posts that suggest that we continue to hold and not sell.
But is this really helpful? In fact, losses have already occurred, and we cannot deceive ourselves with the reason of book losses instead of actual losses. This is simply a shit reason.
Indeed, if you hold coins and wait for a bull market, you may recover your losses, but this is uncertain, it is not necessarily happening.
More often, holding will only make things worse.

But isn't it by holding you're not actually losing at all? Of course if you decided to dump it, but 1 BTC = 1 BTC in your wallet.

I think this kind of bearish trend might have teach us a big lesson. Majority takes losses, however, its a long way to go. The only thing we can do is just hold on the coin and wait for the next bull run in the next coming months or years.
6418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Red - Red - Red market :( on: November 17, 2018, 09:28:15 AM
alltime dump and dump, we want more prices,

have some negative news?
i think i live in bubble and for me all information is Good,
if you have bad news - plz share eachother

It looks like we need to endure this whole Bitcoin Cash hashing power war and sadly, bitcoin was affected by it that's why the price goes down in a instant in the last couple of days.

But when the dust settled in days or weeks to come, I'm sure that Bitcoin will still be the clear winner here because Bitcoin market is where most of the money. So investors will still continue to buy Bitcoin no matter what the negative news.
6419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise again in 2019 on: November 15, 2018, 07:23:06 PM
The fall will not last forever this sooner or later will come to an end and I think that 2019 will be more productive for the crypto currency !

Correct, but the bearish trend may take to long as we have expected it to be. I'm sure that majority of us is not here when the market went on a bearish mode for more than a year. Others lose hope and didn't hold but they all regret their decisions when the price peak last year.

As for 2019, everyone is very positive that it will be the year that we've able to bounce back after a year long bear market. So let's hope that we're all correct next year. Grin
6420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN DROPS TO $5,600. HOLD OR SELL? on: November 15, 2018, 06:59:28 PM
Doesn't make sense if you have bought bitcoin higher than the current price and just simply dump it because you panic. Everything will be back to normal for sure, its just we have been affected by this Bitcoin Cash war as the moment and there are several reports that Bitcoin Cash holder are dumping their Bitcoin to prepare for the war and the hard work.

So if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't sell not even a satoshi as this point. I would rather not panic and just continue to hold.
