Of course Chelsea have the good mentality to keep fighting for a proper place before the end of the season. I think Fulham will lose their next meeting against Chelsea, that's because Chelsea look like they are going to do anything at Stamford Bridge. 3 points are very important for Chelsea at the moment following their poor results in many previous matches.

We can see how direct he was at his debut and although that game ended goalless for both side, the story would had been different if Mudryk started the game. He was an instant threat to the Liverpool defense and such moves he display does prove of his readiness for the premier league. Seriously, have you seen Barcelona's stats in Laliga? They are one of the teams with the fewest goals conceded this season. If I'm not mistaken in Barcelona's 17 matches in Laliga, they only conceded 6 goals I'm pretty sure the Barcelona and Manchester United matches in the Europa League will focus on minimize goals conceded by each team. Don't be surprised that La liga and EPL is a different leagues, with different clubs involved, and different playing patterns. I wouldn't be too fast to quest that the match will end with few goals just because it involves two top team's in Europe. I think Chelsea is a bit too reluctant at looking into the deficiency in their midfield, Todd Boelly is just too focused on buying attackers. Before it was different flaws From different wings, now the attacking line has been revived yet the gameplay isn't still changing because new things are still needed in the midfield and defense just as it is in the attack. Not solving this before February can be a big risk in a champion league match
@Docnaster to be fair Chelsea’s injury crisis is a big reason why they failed to revive themselves, and all the player’s bought by them are future star’s hence they may not make much of an impact right away. Furthermore Potter will have to pray that no more injuries happen, and he’ll have to develop solid tactical plans for the champions league matches otherwise Chelsea will be eliminated quiet easily. For the Everton vs Arsenal game I didn't really think about it, 100% sure I would bet on Arsenal to win. Spurs vs Man City the possibility of winning for man city is very slim, but I will not bet on this match, considering that Spurs performed quite well in the previous match against fulham and managed to win the match. Kessie is a candidate for becoming a Chelsea player in the summer. Rice and Kessie are the current targets for Chelsea and I believe Chelsea have a bigger chance on Kessie. Because Rice is on many other big teams' radar at the same time. While Chelsea are struggling about closing up the gap with top 4 they might have bigger difficulties in signing Rice.
I think Kessie and Rice are both great midfielders so Chelsea should do their best to sign one of them. Kessie would cost much less for them by the way while Rice is quite expensive.
I see even if Chelsea fail to get Declan Rice, but another option like Frank Kessie seems good enough to fill the Chelsea midfield. Roma now has eyesight on ziyech, I'm still thinking if Chelsea will be that blind to see his importance by releasing him in the late January transfer. To me, it will be good to retain ziyech on the team, his performance in the last match against Liverpool was quite exceptional. if the management is no more concerned about the plans of overhauling the old squad, I think Ziyech could make a good per with Joao Felix or Mudryk in Chelsea attack.
Chelsea have seemed insistent on selling Ziyech but I think it is better for them to at least keep him until the end of the season. Ziyech can really be a useful player in this time period. He is still showing his skills from time to time and playing nicely. But his problem is just with consistency. Chelsea's motivation to sell him must be that as well. It would be a good transfer for Roma by the way. They already have a good attacking line and Ziyech can strengthen it even more. Ziyech is not really useful for chelsea. Chelsea may able to keep him until the end of season as long as there would be no big offer for him. Im sure that chelsea will try to sell him once the club has got good offer from another club. Lens is doing great this season by having more points ant to be in the second position but I don't see how lens will be on top of the league when their is PSG. PSG has always been known for leading the French league , I don't see lens having it.
This season Lens is still a temporary complement to second place and if Lens can continue to be able to stay in that position until the end of the season, then that will also be much better for him because next season he can immediately be in another competition such as the Champions League. As for PSG, it cannot be denied anymore because it has dominated the French Ligue 1 for a long time. Lens as shown good efforts since the beginning of this season and I believe they have invested too much to have afford loosing that position, I'm only worried about PSG because they are already giving me cold feet concerning this year French League 1 title.they have been displaying winning inconsistency ever since the returned from the Qatar Fiffa world Cup, though it wouldn't be a bad thing to see Lens win the league 1 tittle, after all PSG as dominated for years. |

I certainly expected Empoli to score a goal or a draw, but in general I had no doubt that Inter would win... But the red card decided the match... I'm also surprised by the kicking stats... Empoli have almost as many of them as Inter...
If Inter Milan win they can move up to second place with 40 points and only 10 points difference with Napoli but the opportunity has been wasted we can blame the red card but Inter did not appear consistent actually the cause and they have to accept that and make Napoli more comfortable in the first place to become champions this season, I doubt the 12 point advantage can be pursued by any team. Napoli has shown a formidable sign that is convincing enough to believe them to be the Italian series a title champions in 2022/2023, and I think every other contender is competing for the top 4. If inter Milan wins, they will be moving to second place in the standing and may probably end the season comfortably in that position, lets's do away with the hope that they can catch up with Napoli who's already leading the league with 12 points. |
