6401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 24, 2019, 11:05:50 AM
The Italian league was great in the 90’s, there were some fantastic players & the league was a lot more competitive.

Who remember -

Batistuta
Original Ronaldo
Roberto Baggio
George Weah
Maldini
Veron
Del Piero
Inzaghi
Crespo

Some great players.

Back then, there were 3-4 teams that were competitive for the championship this is why there were so many skilled players. Now it is Juventus the strongest one and maybe one more team follows in the championship chasing. Serie A has become from a Top class championship a middle class one.

Hey those were the golden days of Italian league, those stars made the league competitive and fun to watch. If you see now we know season after season Juventus will turn up, and win the league there’s no competition from any team. I believe other clubs needs to invest heavily in their players, if they wish to give Juventus serious competition going ahead.
6402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 24, 2019, 06:56:33 AM
Wasn't expecting Raonic to lose to Lucas Pouille. Raonic played really well in the last few matches and after beating Wawrinka, I expecting him to reach at least Semis. fair play to Pouille though, countered Raonic's forehand quite easily. Nadal vs Tsitsipas next, I dont think Tsitsipas really has a chance. Considering that Nadal has one of the best top spin forehands. If he focuses on Tsitsipas's forehand it will be close to impossible for him to counter that, other than just slicing it. Federer had the same issue for a long time too, while facing Nadal. Its almost impossible to hit a topspin forehand when the ball is around and over the shoulder height. Going to be an interesting matchup for sure but should be another finals showing for Nadal.

Hey you’re not alone in being disappointed with the loss of Raonic, given his current form it’s a shame he didn’t win it. Lucas is up against Djokovic now and I expect Djokovic to sail through, though I do hope Lucas does give him some competition. I’m very excited for Nadals clash vs Tsitsipas, as it’s Nadals experience vs this youngster who’s already caused an upset, however my money is on Nadal to win the match.
6403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 24, 2019, 03:47:27 AM
When Barca ask for players then price is raising same is when Real wants to buy or any other big club

Right, that is true but, I think the only reason why Barcelona paid that much was just to make they beat PSG and Man City to his signature.

I mean, we haven't seen him playing with Barcelona so it might be too early to say that he'll be another Andre Gomes. If he can adapt as fast as Arthur did (a player with no experience in european football), then maybe he'll turn out to be a decent signing, time will tell if he'll become a top player.

I guess I was just being too hard on him already. I actually like De Jong as a player, I was only disappointed in the Barcelona board for another unnecessary signing. You also acknowledged that Arthur has adapted well but still that has not been good enough to secure him a place in the starting xi, what then could we expect the fate of De Jong to be.

Hey i believe they had no choice had they waited for summer it would have resulted in a bidding war, but even considering that I feel they have vastly over paid for him. While there’s no doubts about the quality of what De Jong will bring, I’m just not sure how he’ll get into the starting line up. Also it’s pertinent to note with Barcelona coach not sure to stay beyond this season, this signing doesn’t make any sense especially when there’s news they’ll move for Neymar.
6404  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merits for all Rank Members - Conditions Apply - 3 merits available. on: January 23, 2019, 03:02:48 PM
I have send fresh merits out to the posts I felt were deserving, if you got a merit before you cannot submit again, in case you did not get merit feel free to submit a new post. I have clearly stated only one post link should be put up, if you ignore that rule I’ll ignore your post. Also lastly do not submit one liners, work hard on creating quality posts.
6405  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: January 23, 2019, 11:30:08 AM
Do you believe that the adoption of bitcoin in every country can less the unemployment rate? As what I have observed most of the countries right now are accepting bitcoin as a payment method. Is there a possibility that crypto will be legalized and become as a legal job also?

Hey the answer is no Bitcoin cannot solve the problem of unemployment, as unemployment is an decade old problem which deeply rooted in our system. I feel at max it’ll create few jobs if people are looking for blockchain experts, and people to work under them but even then the numbers of job created will be very less. I feel crypto may be legalised, but it’s a currency not a job I feel you’re mistaken about it’s features.
6406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: So I played again recently, i noticed something.. on: January 23, 2019, 07:20:09 AM

After that, i visited again our local carnival last night and i noticed something. If you are observant enough you can cheat the game. Warning: Its not applicable to online games.

So heres what i noticed.
1. The game is what i told last time where there is this ball and wherever the color that ball lands, its the winning color and the price would be quadrouple your bet. So i noticed that theres a certain color that almost win. The color red. Its not just coincidence because last time i checked, it happened again. The color holes are somehow tilted and its not 0 degrees on level and the color red is what it will gonna hit on that position.

I take home triple my gambling capital this time. If you are observant enough, you can somehow cheat. This is not 100% sure but it helps a lot on deciding a bet.

Happy Gambling Smiley

Hey this is not called cheating by any means, this is called smartness and being observant which many gamblers at times do not possess. I feel you got lucky with this strategy as I had tried to pull this one a while ago, but it went horribly wrong. Also a piece of advice do not visit that place more than once, or avoid it for a while if they feel you’re winning a lot they could attack you or worst have you robbed.
6407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $400,000 Says Investing Guru Mark Yusko on: January 23, 2019, 04:08:34 AM
i don't know but i'm very disappointed in this market. in the year 2018 i lost all my money

Hey sorry to hear about your losses, but could you elaborate on how you incurred those losses which coins you invested in. I’ll agree the market has not been good, the extended bear phase has refused to end and many of us have seen our portfolios value reduced. It’s pertinent to note that the losses are on paper, these are not actual losses till you sell them, if you decide to hodl them then in the long run you’ll recover.
6408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin go lower than 2k? on: January 22, 2019, 05:36:16 PM
Bitcoin prices lower than 2k are likely to occur if the market gets worse, all possibilities can occur in crypto, and therefore become a risk.

Hey there’re no indicators showing that bitcoins will fall to 2k levels, last year they told us it’ll fall to 1.5k levels but it never did. If you’re seeing the charts bitcoins has formed strong resistance at 3.5k levels, and if it sustains these levels then we’ll see 5k and above levels soon. I’ll agree crypto’s are risky, but slowly and steadily we’re seeing upward movements and more adoption which shall in future fuel rally.
6409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 mens Australian Open (tennis) betting odds on: January 22, 2019, 01:28:35 PM

Coming back to this as I am very hyped! Stefanos Tsitsipas has made it to the Semi-finals disqualifying Roger Federer and Bautista Agut. He is the youngest player to reach Slam semifinals since 2007!
Now he has a difficult game, probably against Nadal, but I have faith for the 41.00 odds so far. After all, reaching so close is a win!

Hey I’m happy for Stefanos and this is one incredible journey he’s having, but I feel he’ll find his match against Nadal. I believe Nadal shall be determined not be defeated by a youngster like him, I’m sure with his experience he’ll beat him. It’ll be indeed a thriller if he gives tough competition to Nadal, but deep down I’m sure he’ll know it’s next to impossible to beat Nadal.
6410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: January 22, 2019, 10:58:07 AM
I Think risk and reward are the two similarities between gambling and forex, stocks and cryptocurrencies trading. For those that have been doing trading and gambling what did you notice as a similar among the two and through experience how much have you made from the both?

The only things common between trading and gambling is that both are risky and equally rewarding but there’re differences between their risk and the rewards. When you’re gambling you’re playing with your luck and are depending on an uncertain event to go in your favour and in trading you can study and avoid it. Also it’s pertinent to note that in both scenarios your greed can destroy you, if you don’t keep it in check.
6411  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BITDICE -2019 mBTC Christmas and New Year Celebrations [2+ BTC in Prizes] 🎲 on: January 22, 2019, 07:14:55 AM
I'm just curious, why are you using VPN? is gambling illegal on your country?
It doesn't mean when someone use a VPN he's from a country that prohibits access to online casino's.
Well, some gamblers use VPN to hide their IP, maybe they do not want to get associated with gambling using their IP address, in most countries they are using static IP, so they can easily get trace. My case, it's not a big deal, I can use my mobile phone to gamble and just connect it to other wifi, but I don't really see the risk in gambling so I'm confident even using my real IP.

Also, when using VPN, connection is very slow based on experience.

Hey it’s true some countries have strict laws when it comes to gambling, and a gambler has to find ways to play so using VPN is normal. I remember Salman29 saying even on VPN Bitdice is loading faster, so if anyone needs to use VPN Bitdice is a good option. Also now gamblers from USA will have to use VPN only, and I feel going ahead all sites will be loading faster even on VPN.

6412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's kick some bear ass on January 30th! on: January 22, 2019, 03:48:27 AM
your topic is like advertising ... spirit is necessary but increasing prices is not as easy as what you say, indeed the price of bitcoin depends on demand, but looking at the current market situation, it is difficult to find people who will follow your advice, but why must the 30th January? Is there a special moment?

Hey while I admire your spirit in reality it’ll have no effect on the prices, cause buying few satoshis or few bitcoins as a whole does not effect the prices. I believe you’re confused that by buying bitcoins we can effect the prices, the only people who can do this are called whales and those quantities simply can’t be matched. Also it’s pertinent to note that you’re advocating pump and dump, which is bad in the long term.
6413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will the possible ban on internet gambling in the US affect Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2019, 06:01:54 PM
By now most people have heard about this, https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-01-15/u-s-now-says-all-online-gambling-illegal-not-just-sports-bets.

We all know that Crypto currency online gambling sites are rampant on the internet and it adds loads of demand for Crypto currency on the Internet.

Some of these sites are legal, but a large amount of them are operating illegally. The possible prohibition on internet gambling in the US will have a significant impact on the price of Crypto currencies that are used for gambling.

Do you think legal operations will close their doors and move underground?
Do you think it will only have a limited impact on Crypto currency prices?
Will these operations move to countries that allow online gambling?
Will online gambling evolve into illegal sites on the Darkweb?

Let's discuss.  Sad

Hey that’s a sad news if you see it from USA residents point of view, but I don’t think that people from USA will stop playing at online gambling sites. I believe they’ll simply access these sites via VPN, and since they’ll be playing in crypto’s their income will be hidden. When it comes to prices i feel there won’t be any effects on it, also many online casinos are registered in countries which favour online casinos so don’t think anything will happen to their current way of operations.
6414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Beware Bitcoins Email Hack is going viral. on: January 21, 2019, 01:44:58 PM
There is a mail that is being circulated in everyone’s mail box, claiming they have a clip of the user masterbating, and they’ll release it to all friends and families unless he pays money in bitcoins. The mail even goes on to shows ways how one can pay in bitcoins, this mail is one big scam and do not fall for it. This mail is like old wine in a new bottle, last year they send out our passwords, this year they’re sending out fake video claim.

If you have got such a mail here’s what you need to do:

1) Do not reply to it if you have opened it, if you see it just delete it the subject will be Hi perv. I recorded you masturbating! I have captured 'Mail.mp4'! [\b]

2) If you have opened it they’ll send you a second mail, simply delete it.

3) Do not pay any kind of ransom, this is a big scam.

What worries me is that many people are paying them, and those who can’t pay may end up taking their life’s due to sheer embarrassment, it’s my humble request spread the word about this as we all are the targets.

I know many of you’ll will say who’ll pay so see this 3MhAEHCKyh4xsNTvKANR5RKmNd3RpT4KSb people are already paying, this matter cannot be taken lightly and everyone should know this mail is one big scam.
6415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: January 21, 2019, 03:31:46 AM

From what I know, there is no such rule. You can stay infinitely in a casino as long as you don't misbehave. According to stats, the average stay in Las Vegas is around 4 days, and I'm sure many gamblers spend as many hours as they can inside in order to not waste the precious time. I think some of them, if not most of them, take various drugs and energy drinks which help them to stay awake. If you ask me, I'd say that's a disastrous pastime. But for some people it's the best time they can imagine. And I don't blame them because this matter is very subjective.

Hey that’s true I remember my friends who went to Vegas, stayed inside for almost two days the only time they stepped out was for some refreshments. I believe they didn’t take drugs, but the thrill and their gambling addiction got better of them. If a addicted gambler really wishes to control, he should be given a goal in place of gambling, and should be thought mindfulness only then he’ll be able to control himself.
6416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin balance vs fiat debt? on: January 20, 2019, 06:00:58 PM
so lets just set this scenario, not that its me but just so I can understand peoples view on long term bitcoin, this scenario might be true with many people, as I keep hearing of people selling their house for bitcoin, then price plummets even further, So let say someone is in real world debt for 100k say mortgage and credit card, but also holds just over that in bitcoin, who here would just sell out and become "debt free" if there were such a thing lol, or those that would keep the bitcoin as it can become of much more value in the near future compared to the debt build up of interest and such? baring in mind that clearing the debt means a steady buy back of bitcoin over the following months?

your thought please, this would help me greatly.

I believe the simple way to answer this question is to consider two scenarios, one where you're in prison for non payment, two you have paid and are out carefree. I would sell my bitcoins, as I'll always remember Bitcoins were created to provide me freedom rather than trap me in jails of debt. One can always earn and buy bitcoins ahead, but lost reputation can never be brought back do remember that.
6417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Milk, eggs, bread and bitcoins? on: January 20, 2019, 03:48:30 PM
That `s what I believe as well. In a few years, everyone will use Bitcoin as a means of payment. It would be interesting for all people to know and use crypto coins. That would bring massive increases in coin prices. Until then, we must enjoy every step advanced towards this useful premise.

Hey yes bitcoins adoption rate has been growing steadily this year, and these new atms are helping bitcoins explore a whole new market. I feel that in 2019 many people will choose only crypto’s, and in particular bitcoins as a mode of daily payments. It’s pertinent to note that many countries are now accepting bitcoins, as payments for their taxes which shall further fuel it’s growth.

https://dailyhodl.com/2019/01/20/bitcoin-dips-below-3600-as-venezuela-is-set-to-become-77th-country-in-worlds-rising-network-of-bitcoin-atms-despite-crypto-price-volatility/

It is very good to see that today I am a Jr member. It is a very interesting thing for me. I am now a target member. I'd like to wear a signature now. What should I do now? Waiting for signature campaign or starting a bounty campaign. Which will be beneficial? Many people have told me that bounty campaign does not make any profit.

Best regards
Coin-Desk

Hey first of all congratulations on ranking up, now you need to put in more efforts if you wish to join a signature campaign. I would advise you to work on improving your post quality further, and submit your application to signature campaigns. I don’t like bounty campaigns they’re not worth the time, focus on your post quality and join a campaign soon.
6419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: January 20, 2019, 07:38:09 AM
@btc_angela. It is the fight business. I reckon greed is the motivation for everyone involved, from the fighters themselves, their managers, trainers, agents and the promoters and everyone else who will make the money.

You're 100% right, everything is really evolving. Maybe when I feel in love with the sports in the late 80's-90's I'm not aware that fighters and managers are in for the money or maybe it wasn't obvious at that time, or I just watch to see who's really the best pound for pound.

Hey I’ll agree gone are the good old days when Boxing was a sport, where we would see the Knockouts, boxers actually turning up to fight it out in the ring. In current scenario these guys will try to hurt each other with their barbs, speak a lot outside the match, and when they’re in the ring they put up a lame show. It’s pertinent to note that all these fights are more about brands getting their exposure, rather than people getting their entertainment from seeing boxers fight it out in the ring.
6420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 19, 2019, 05:36:40 PM
Big breakfast eaten, now on the road to my Church - Anfield.

Let’s go LFC Wink

Hey LFC it seems whenever you’re visiting Liverpool find the extra energy to seal of the match, what a brilliant match and all credit goes to Liverpool for winning it 4 - 3. Manchester United record their seventh consecutive win under Ole, and he’s got himself a new record of winning his first six premier games as their manager. Now all eyes are on Chelsea vs Arsenal where I feel Chelsea are the stronger team, I don’t feel that Arsenal will be able to defeat Chelsea.
