6401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine Altcoins or ICO that are too good to be true? on: November 03, 2017, 11:36:32 PM
It is an absolute risk to invest in ICOs that you do not understands their core values just because you were inform by a colleague, invest on ICOs projects which has a real aim of solving world problems and low market cap with a chances of growing with a perfect team.
6402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: November 03, 2017, 05:17:38 PM
Mining bitcoin using a mobile phone requires a strong GPU of a graphic card because an average mobile phone can crunch 8 hashes per seconds, therefore the competition among the miners will be high with the owners of strongest hardware (ASIC) not (GPU) used by mobile phones and cheap electricity will mine bitcoin successfully, in a nutshell mobile phone mining is very difficult to achieve on mining bitcoin.
6403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 04:26:13 PM
Convincing laymen (people) to invest in bitcoin is an herculean task that is not easily surmounted, I tried to reach out to some friends of mine explaining the benefits of investing in bitcoin now having read about speculations of bitcoin hitting $10,000K to them.
Majority of them opinionated that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme therefore it is a scam, although  I have not given up on them I am just waiting for the opportunity to exchange my bitcoin to fiat and show them the way.
6404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are other forums for discussing bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 12:33:48 AM
Personally I google searched the internet I have not come across any forum rich in contents and information as bitcointalk, I have accessed bitcoingarden, bountyportal, icodiscuss e.t.c none of those forum has informative and educative threads for learning and I believed this forum is second to none as regards bitcoin related information.
6405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My friend have a broken laptop with 200 BTC in offline wallet. on: November 03, 2017, 12:20:25 AM
Firstly is to ensure that the hard disk is carefully removed and kept in a safe place, purchase a hard disk adaptor and slot it in then connect it to a working computer system, it will be detected automatically  an external hard drive will appear were you can access the details of the wallet, ensure that a paper and a pen is use to write out all the details.
6406  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: November 03, 2017, 12:05:39 AM
It could be quite challenging for those who bought bitcoin before 2003 and still hold it till date, I am very sure just few of them had been able to achieve that aim of holding it this is due to the uncertainty or unstable nature of the price of bitcoin majority of theose holders might have sold it off when the price hits $600 of course they had made considerable amount of profits.

6408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you adopt Bitcoin - Ideology, Technology, Monetary on: November 02, 2017, 10:56:54 AM
Personally I have adopted all of the above, I strongly believed in the ideology of bitcoin as a decentralized currency I do not like third party of transacting business I prefers doing my transactions anonymously, also the technology behind bitcoin is superbly configured using blockchain technology.
Lastly the monetary aspect of bitcoin is second to none, bitcoin can be used to trade, work for bitcoin, gambling, pay for goods and services e.t.c.

6410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 02, 2017, 01:24:32 AM
My greatest fear as a bitcoin holder is when the price drops down dip, we should not be carried away with  increasing price because there is going to be price pullback or price correction which may prompt holders dumping it invariably crash the price, I am not pessimistic about it.
More so bitcoin is prone to hackers and this is also a  disadvantage of holding bitcoin.
6411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: November 01, 2017, 06:28:53 PM
Bitcoin cannot eliminate unemployment completely but can only reduce it, it is on record that everyday bitcoin related services or job is posted online, thus  unemployed individual with vast knowledge of bitcoin can seize such opportunity to be engaged and paid.
There are so many bitcoin related jobs easier ones like signature campaigns here, trading, graphic designs and programming can serve as employment opportunities for the unemployed.

6413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to make some bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 05:50:49 PM
How can I make minimum of 0.3btc in a month without trading and gambling?
As I've heard bad experience with both, but still need to make money

Well I rather advice you to learn a skill online there are many skills available on YouTube e.g graphic design, or any programming language take your time to study it very well thereafter you register with freelancers like xbtfreelancer, freelancer, upwork e.t.c you will make a lot  of bitcoin when you offers a service to a client.
6414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 31, 2017, 11:22:25 AM
Bitcoin has been changing the world in a unique way of sending and receiving of fiat via bitcoin without undergoing those stressful and stringent methods used by western union money transfer, moneygram e.t.c.
I can now sit in the comfort of my room  and receive fund from abroad via bitcoin.
6415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 31, 2017, 08:08:06 AM
Bitcoin will continue to gain more popularity and will not end because daily more people are joining the train of cryptocurrencies particularly bitcoin, although there are some stringent policies against bitcoin by government of some countries like most recent clamped down on exchanges by the Chinese government but this cannot end bitcoin.
6416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: October 31, 2017, 03:00:27 AM
Bitcoin will have no impart in the future of banking, because for most of the transactions, we still needs to exchanged it to fiat, personally for every bitcoin I earned online is sold to my local exchangers so will deposit the equivalent local currency into my bank account, were I can withdraw my money, this is to reaffirm the role of banking in cryptocurrencies.
6417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funny: "Nigerian" Scams Shifting To Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 07:44:33 PM
Scammers are always devising new methods of scamming people on daily basis, truly it is the gullible ones that will fall from this type of scam, imagine someone sending 150BTC to me and requesting for my hard earned bitcoin  this is absolutely unrealistic this is a wake up call for everybody to always verify any source of information.

6419  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 30, 2017, 09:31:27 AM
I do not believe it is possible for me to get rich with bitcoin, although some early holders of bitcoin are rich now after investing their money in bitcoin few years back, but at this current price buying substantial amount of bitcoin will be hard because I do not have such fund, be as it may bitcoin has been a  supplement to monthly salary and it is an additional source income for me.
