Well, there are several bots in the market, people use them and they can work. Especially when the price is volatile but still revolves around a quite stable anchor. What I mean by that is that the price moves between 430-450 for weeks so setting your bot to take advantage of these mild price swings can be profitable. If intend only to focus on BTC to fiat arbitrage opportunities, you need to have a lot of liquidity. That is why I do not do that anymore but I use these traders from my signature.

I mainly do alts to alts arbitrage, much easier to transfer coins from one exchange to another. Would not disclose my exact tactics since markets can be easily saturated but this definitely works.

However, arbitrage trading takes a lot of skill and even more time to follow the markets. For example, while I was browsing through forums today, Sunday, I read a piece of info about Darkcoin article being published into Wires magazine this week. This might have a positive effect on price so I bought some Darkcoins which I intend to sell if the price goes up. Let us see whether this was a decent arbitrage decision.

One final piece of advice, USE YOUR HEAD and never be too greedy. Invest smaller amounts and increase them gradually.

When I say we need to reduce the total number of coins, they say I am unfair. Well, this is fair I guess, the price going down and panic selling.

Haha, I wish, I can only wish. I guess you are Satoshi Nakamoto then. Following your logic, you use Bitcoin and promote it, you must be behind it.
All I say is that I like the service, I use it for a couple months and it has been profitable for me. If you know some other option where to invest my BTC, safe, risk free and profitable, please do share it. But I seriously doubt it.

What is with you people. This guy s got 450 referrals, registered 3 months ago and has made 7 cents so far. What is the point of this entire thread? In 10 years and with 50k referrals, you can make entire 1 dollar.

Haha, yes I really like people posting comments how something does not work without any evidence at all. Once more, it is potentially risky as it is anything Bitcoin related. I know I ve made nice profits from this service and I am happy with them.

Thx for amending the title, much better now. Do not expect anything to happen due to this shut down. Companies open and close down every day in BTC economy. I seriously doubt anyone would get upset about PBOC actions anymore. Unless they try to ban BTC.

Stop spreading FUD. This exchange is marginal, their volume has been quite low for months.  They would probably close down anyway. There is nothing MAJOR here.

Yes, I fully agree with your post. I always tell people to start with smaller investment and then increase it if they like it.

Yup, doge is definitely one option. Also, I know some people exchanging BTC to Chinese Yuan, then using Yuan to buy some other coin and selling that coin on another exchange. As I have stated, possibilities are endless.

Bitcoin trader has been online since November 2013, 6+ months, and this adds to their credibility IMO. There have been no issues of any kind so far, withdrawals are working fine and profits are quite nice. Personally, I will be increasing my investment 20% compared to what I have now. Having said this, people should still be careful with their investments, there is nothing risk free in the Bitcoin world.

You miss the fact that their commission is paid one time for the period of 120 days, they lock your deposits for this period. So they pay 5% and use you money to trade 80 days (let us assume there are 80 working days in this 120 days period). Let us also assume they keep 0.2% in profits from the sum you invested, the rest of profits is being paid to other investors. Over these 80 days they make 16% and pay 5% in commission. Over larger amounts, this is a lot of money.

Also, do not consider arbitrage as only BTC-BTC trading process. There is BTC to fiat, alt coins to BTC, alt coins to alt coins. Lots of different exchanges and lots of opportunities. All I am saying that this is possible IMO.

I do not do BTC-fiat arbitrage personally anymore cause I simply have no time to follow major exchanges. When I did it, there was a specialized website for transferring BTCe certificates into cash/BTC called Bitinstant. Unfortunatelly, they don't do that anymore and I am not sure whether there is any other website doing the same thing.

What I do now is use the website from my signature to do all this for me, have been using them since February and I am very happy with them. The other option I do is BTC-alts arbitrage, basically you follow the price of alt coins on different exchanges, Cryptsy, Mintpal, Poloniex, etc. and take advantage of their price difference vs BTC. If you do this, make sure to choose coins with quite fast confirmations since you must be able to transfer these from one exchange to another quite fast. Also, do not get greedy, aim for 5% price difference max cause this might be quite risky if you do not know what to do. Let me know if you need more help and be careful with your investments.
