What they mean here is, the other Altcoins are just made to scam people's money. As for me, it doesn't really matter who controls my money on the exchanges. as long as I know they have the criteria of trusted exchange it wouldn't matter to me if I know them or not. The most important thing here is, they know how to handle your money. from the start, you already know what kind of exchange they are. At the end of the day, we are all supporting this thing called DSecentralized that's why we don't have a right to nag them who they are and where they are.

Base on the given information, more likely you are pertaining to a cloud mining BTC site or something like that. anyway, let's just wait for the others maybe they know the site you are talking about as well.
