Apparently all those Caps are bad after 20+ years whether they look it or not. I was looking for some info on ceramic caps and found a ton of old amp cap failure vids and spent the night watching them instead of fixing the board i was working on. Speaking of caps do solid caps have a lesser chance of exploding when they fail? Edited: didn't even answer your question doh, the bulge is intentional on caps so that they do not explode and the solid caps will not bulge but may lift up off the rubber stopper on the bottom if they exceed a certain temp. Talking about pills, one of the pills I take is Enalapril Comp for my blood pressure, it contains a small dose of hydroklortiazid witch is a diuretic, so the doc recommended I take it in the morning, so I wont have get up and pee so much in the night. However, yesterday morning I forgot to take it, so when I remembered in the evening I was like, "eh, I haven't really noticed any increased peeing during the day so it's probably not that bad, Ill just take it now".
Bad decision, I woke up and had to pee nine times last night, not doing that again.
On the other hand, since I started taking them (in the morning) I have noticed that I'm peeing less at night now, I feel like 40 again.
