6421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you call someone with 1000BTC? on: March 18, 2016, 08:18:03 AM
I thought anyone with over 100 bitcoins would be a mini whale then a bigger whale would be a maxi whale. That's how I thought Bitcoin hoarders would be called. I wonder if these names would be appropriate. I wish I was a bitcoin whale lol.
6422  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: March 18, 2016, 07:28:15 AM
Not yet because I am still in the investing phase and am starting from ground 0 all over again. I had some bitcoins but I invested that in my own digital currency and am trying to grow that and back it with more investments. It will take me a few years to be able to spend bitcoin on things because for now I need to accumulate a decent amount first.
6423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 07:23:45 AM
I have just invested another 50 dollars worth of bitcoin into a private investment that is paying but for newcomers the share price is 99 bucks and it gives out 10 bucks a month dividend for 12 months per share and then the company can by it back from you at the original price or you can hold for more dividends depending on company profits. They are building a payment processor, they got  license and it's up and running as well. That's my latest investment. I want to try and grab a few more if I can before round 2 investment closes as the shares are limited. So you can find startups that take bitcoin as an investment to grow your money.
6424  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: preev no such app? on: March 18, 2016, 07:16:33 AM
I used to use it all the time for the bitcoin price bt found out today it wasn't working so I used a few other sites as I needed to send some bitcoin for an investment. I only had the dollar equivalent so there are plenty of other places and exchanges that have the current rates but Preev was so easy to sue without all the other fiddly stuff lol.
6425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 18, 2016, 07:10:21 AM
I would just advise him to hold 50% then find some good bitcoin startups that might have a future to invest the other half but that is still quite risky. I don't know if there is a bitcoin hedge fund around but if there was that would also be a good place to stash some bitcoin for his future.
6426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just invested 300 BTC and 10M NXT in Cell 411 on: March 18, 2016, 07:08:04 AM
WOW that's a lot of bitcoin you had to invest. Did you buy shares in the company or is it just a private investment? I do hope you have great success in the app and hope you have a good marketing team behind it. I would love to blog about it on my coin blog for a small bag of satoshi Smiley  Smiley. Would be good to get the word out. I love new innovations in technology and wish I was much younger to enjoy the rapid pace of development.
6427  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Latin American economies are turning to bitcoin on: March 18, 2016, 07:04:08 AM
Also because of the poverty issues as well, it is much easier for even the poorer residents to by up small amounts of bitcoin slowly slowly than to buy gold. It is also far more easier to liquidate or use as well. I guess also clicking faucets and doing other tasks for bitcoin in a country where the wages are much lower could also boost small households who may have access to internet.

This is right, the lack of decent work and stable job are the reason why they are turning to bitcoin, being in bitcoin can get you somewhere else.
The extra income that bitcoin gives make most people turn to it.

Also for many who can't afford a computer but can use a mobile device or phone can have easier access to bitcoin and still get to earn as many sites now are becoming cellphone/mobile friendly as well. I think that may also help those in remoter regions as well.
6428  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 06:49:13 AM
We need more women to get out there and talk about Bitcoin. So far it has generally been a very male dominated subject and not enough women to get the word out to other women. I as a woman am finding it hard to get the message across bt I will keep trying. Just also as an alternative saving pot. If women all started using Bitcoin as part of a long term savings program it would do so much for the price of Bitcoin as well.
6429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: March 18, 2016, 06:45:59 AM

Don't understand it or think it is some sort of internet money that they will never need.

They might about it since most people used credit card to buy something through internet or do it in via paypal.
But since they still dont know about how much can you save with fee that what makes bitcoin good.
[/quote

Also so many people think that Bitcoin is being used for fraud yet processors like PAYPAL are the biggest thieves out there. My dad and I lost so much money in Paypal, freezing people's money in online businesses and plus I lost 95% of my online income this year all because of Paypal. If you wanna look at fraud look at Paypal and they are a fiat payment processor. I think before people turn their noses up at bitcoin they should look at Paypal first. My dad is taking them to court.

6431  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: March 18, 2016, 06:19:23 AM
The more people are aware of it and use it and it circulates more, then it is good for all the holders as it will keep the price stable or rising. Also it's far safer to use than paper money as well and easier to transfer than many other payment processors which charge exorbitant fees in the process as well.
6432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People mocking of me for using Bitcoin on: March 18, 2016, 06:17:33 AM
So many people are skeptical of Bitcoin and because it receives a lot of bad press re money laundering and it's more darker side uses, it conjures up ideas of a para economy and black market scenario which breeds this kind of contempt. I would just tell them that it's a fairly new idea and that you are riding the trend. No point going into details when people have a negative mindset. You just work your way up accumulating Bitcoin until with great actions you can just prove them wrong. Also you don't need to justify yourself to anyone, do your own thing and let them laugh away.
6433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRESScoin STS GEN-2 on its way, SPORTSBETTING[ANN] on: March 18, 2016, 06:08:06 AM
Someone lime myself who is always stressed to the core could do with looking at this coin. I love the idea of the T shirts and the design is really funky. I will check the exchanges as well and see how it's doing there.
6434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QIBUCK COIN - X13 - POS/POBH - 1st Proof of Baghold on: March 18, 2016, 05:50:38 AM

I need to get ready for bagbonus as well. As my Parents will be here the weekend I will do SNAPSHOT BAGBONUS ON TUESDAY 22ND MARCH..

THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER INVESTMENT WE ARE looking into SAM so we will enter that with a nominal amount by the end of the month to start building more reserves.
6435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][STEPS] Let's make a new altcoin environment on: March 18, 2016, 05:46:23 AM
LOLZZZ

STEPS will be right, take a chill pill fuckers....  Cool

Exactly.

Whiners!

"Hurry up, STEPS!!"

"Hurry up, ZRC!"

"Hurry up, Ethereum!"

Dudes!  Do you want Fast or Good?

Yes, it's a choice.

Well said Bro. I am a founder of another coin and I also hold STEPS and one thing I can say is that I never find kinder DEVS and a team than the STEPS TEAM. They are kind, sincere, hardworking and very honest. I think some peeps that just hang around this forum to spread negativity don't have a clue what it's like running a coin. I think they should do something more productive with their lives to be honest. Just because something didn't happen yesterday doesn't make the coin a scam or the DEVS scammers. They are still here helping to grow not only their coin but the altcoin community and to give it a better name.

6440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [REV] REVENU - on: March 12, 2016, 05:26:13 AM
I guess from your ticker, that Yobit will most likely be the first exchange it tries to get listed on ?

We are Concentrating initially on Developing our Website and completing our ANN

Once we spell out our Road Map and also other things which are kept for Target we can go and List on as many exchanges as we can

Yes we are initially Targeting Cex & Yobit

Good luck, it may do very well, the coin as it is attached already to another business revenue generating site. I wish you much success and am lookign forward to doing a bit of promotion and baggingh a bounty if available. I really like the graphics in the ANN and you all look very organised. I could learn a thing or two from you. Smiley
