I'm yet to bump into anybody else in the south east of the UK that actually uses bitcoin. It's better than it was a few years ago when nobody had even heard of it, but I still haven't found anybody else that actually holds any or uses it. (This excludes those I directly know through btc lending and such, obviously)
Lighten up over time users will continue to grow. included in your surroundings I was also quite surprised when my college friends already know about bitcoin. it proves that they continue to grow. we see the future later Yeah the development is sure, comparing with the previous years the improvement is very good, now as halving is coming near the price will increase heavily and as a result we can see a good adaptation in the coming years. |

Any country can use Bitcoin, the main point of Bitcoin is that it is permissions, so it means that no mater what opinion the government of X country has about Bitcoin, everyone can still use it because there are always workarounds to end up using it. Now as far as demographics go, I don't think there is a way to know the amount of users in A or B country.
Sure any country can use bitcoin, but still there are countries developing now and were not technically improved, usage of bitcoin in such countries will be very rare and they have to move one step forward to adopt these new technologies. |

I've been holding on to my coins for some time now. And I just sold half of my coins, because we just reached 460$. I am planning to buy again once the price goes down to 440$-450$. I believe that this is just a minipump and that BTC price will go down sometime now and then pump again.
I like both when the time is right. Right now is indeed a time for holding. But the moment it reach 500 i am sure to sell a small stash to maximize my profit. I hope you really would sell your BTC once it reached 500$. Some people are cocky. They say they'd sell their BTC when it reaches 450$, now that it reached 450$, they are waiting for 500$.  of course people are waiting right now, theres no need to sell your bitcoins at the moment because the price will grow even further up pretty soon thus allowing them to make vast amounts of money im not selling any of my bitcoins and i prefer to buy as much as possible of it in order to make some good profit during the halving event, it will definitely be one of the most interesting experiences wiht bitcoin for me I don't sell or buy any coins, I just hold my coins and if I can I will earn some more coins from signature campaign, then during the halving period when price rises I will obtain a good amount. |

Do you think that if you hold your Bitcoins then increase the price and if you used bitcoins in investment then you also get a profit, in that means BITCOIN is a big business  get profit from bitcoin i think these only usual things lot of people already do these even for everyday and actually i do not understand what you mean about for Bitcoin as a big business It is big business but people seeing al this money flowing around come to wrong ideas. Trying to scam others since they can't do it honestly. Very interesting how honest people can become corrupt by failure. This is true. I hope this low life people eventually get caught and sent to prison. Bitcoin is growing and we should focus on the good things. Not the low life people we deserbe to be in prison. That's the beauty of bitcoins for most scammers. Bitcoin transactions doesn't track where it came from and the nature of the business or transaction. That's probably why bitcoin is highly used in the dark market. Bitcoin is very rare used by business people. I think reason is the decreased users compared to other currencies we use. Only if most users prefer them, only then high or good earning possible for the business people. My suggestion is that business people prefer bitcoin more, another thing bitcoin is a good business for many people, they invest some capital and earn more from investments. |

bitcoin price depends on the market value and the supply and demand. so basically, bitcoin can reach $1k or more when more people know it and start using it in their daily life. and this will happen with more bitcoin projects a and sites appears
Yeah that's true, demand right now is high as everyone is speculating about the halving, but to make the price more stable we need more people holding their coins, so probably adoption and you are right, more bitcoin project to attract new users... No, saving bitcoin isn't good.
Just use bitcoin whenever you need, don't store it. How do you know there won't be an better alternative and btc won't go obselete?
BTC won't go obsolete, that's the point. The BTC network is designed to do that. Even if the price drops to cents per BTC, the network will be still up, and I'm sure there'll be plenty of people using it too. Yeah people who have faith in bitcoin will continue to use it even if the price drops, as it can grow again in future but looking at present situation I don't think price will fall in next couple of months. Yeah you don't want to have any doubts in that, as halving is too close we have to save our coins because the price rise will be very high during halving, I think bitcoin users will be already aware of this and started saving coins more before. |

Its one thing to assume all these prices.. but lets just see the buy orders across on most of these exchanges 1st lol.
But anything after hitting $1k, would be always nice to promote more potential growth.
Reaching such a big amount within one year is highly impossible, but the nature of bitcoin is that we can't predict its price value, so may be in future after seeing the halving and user adaption we can finalize whether it will hit or not. |

I hear that. I saw it touch above $452 for a bit but went down to 447 in that same time. It will break and hold at 450 soon enough then all get have a sign of relief as it finally will happen in such a long time. However it touched $440 that makes me feel good. Before Hal ing it will reach $600 to $700 and after halving we can expect great price rise and at year end it will be even more. |

So much stories about raising something must go wrong eventually. Or at least we can see dump to 400$. I will sell at 450 and buy again at 400..  No mate I think price won't drop, we can see good increase in price all are result of halving, I strongly believe there is no fall in price, so my opinion is no buy or no sell, just hold it patiently. |

oh wow, i have never had so much bitcoins in one place to be honest, im curious how did you manage to make that much money or did you just buy it all from the exchange? i dont have any strategies at the moment to be honest im just holding all the bitcoins i have in order to benefit significantly in the near future without any bigger efforts or any work I am doing the same just earning and holding the coins, believing that bitcoin price will be huge within few months and no idea of investing as investing without proper knowledge makes us to lose coins. |

i have got too little money to think about managing them, too little to even bother spend. my salary is low, i'm just too suck to get something better. money, i just leave them be.
I think even if you only have a small salary or money is small. you still have to have manage money. so that your money is small it can be collected and you know bit by bit if you save regularly then you will save a lot of money manage money is important Yeah if you can save money from your little salary by making a budget, you will be good in managing money when your salary increases too, else you will spend all your money if you fail to make budget. |

I doubt there would be any alternative cryptocurrency to BTCitcoin (in the future), that could keep up to what level BTCitcoin is, so in short anyone trying to create such currency, would be just wasting his time. BTCitcoin has been the new king of all the currencies but the problem is, it's still not that recognized by all and that's the only problem (nothing else that serious enough to harm it).
I totally disagree with you, No other digital currency can replace bitcoin as bitcoin stands first in the world of cryptocurrencies, if any alternate coins emerge it will adopt the bitcoin technology, you see in future bitcoin will be recognized by all. |

I fully agree that Bitcoin can not replace paper money, but it can become unified world currency accepted all over the world  As mentioned replacing fiat or paper money is imaginary. It might be accepted by most users as an unified payment portal for higher transactions which takes time if processed through banking network. The best in bitcoin is you can keep your money here, you can grow your money in easy way, just keep and wait to grow the price of bitcoin then sell thats what i like in bitcoin, If you grow in bank, your money is so slow to grow, if the bank is bankcrupt your money is lost. If the bitcoins price down you can wait again to up this so that you can back your money.
Bitcoin is best as an investment at a moment, as it allows us to earn money, hold it and grow it in future so that we can get higher value in future, same doesn't goes with fiat currency. To my sense the best thing is price fluctuations, as it paves way to both sellers and buyers to be benefited. You can earn more from bitcoin and this provides us an additional income. |

This wasn't the year of bitcoins for me because I set high goals, I have set goals where I see bitcoins price going over 1200$ again and the day it reached will be the year of Bitcoins for me.
Year is not end and price can reach 1200$ maybe, but i don't really belive on it. You are really so optimistic if thinking about this amount of money for 1btc. I think the price could reach $1200 by the end of this year or early next year. I want very slow rise. yeah must people are thinking its price wouldn't reach that much but I hope bitcoin price will reach 1200$ in end of year 2016 because after halving its worth will be double so I can aspect this year of bitcoin. I am not sure whether the price will reach $1200 but I am sure that it will exceed $1000, every users are expecting a huge price rise at the time of halving. Hope it shows a positive sign. |

Kids shouldn't work for money. Its their parents responsibility to feed them and give them money. Kids should be staying on the house playing their little toys.
