When many people get addicted to gambling, that will become a serious matter to the government because it can trigger another problem. The level of crime can also increase, so the government should think much about that.

In reality, the government has nothing to do with that. The post-gambling effect is a behavior that only a gambler knows.

Crime related to gambling can't be controlled by the government no matter how strict the regulation is.

What the government's concern is illegal gambling operators and that's a big problem compared to that gambling behavior related stuff.

The government can investigate the crime in their city, and they can find out why that person does the crime. I watched on the local television, people who commit crimes want to have money to buy alcohol, having fun, and some of them using that money to gamble. All of that thing needs attention from the government.

The government conducts raids in illegal gambling places, and they found that some people are someone they search for because of doing crime.

I ask you, do you have an estimate of how much you have spent in fee this year, no (!?) You should know it even if you use Alts, specific things deceive many, the long term is the key.

I guess the fee is not much than $100. I never think about how much the fee is should pay, even in Altcoin, because the fee will be less than if I paid in bitcoin.

~snip~

Might as well good to transfer or convert your bitcoin withdrawal into other crypto coin to able to spare from high fees. I believe that casino fees will continue to add a withdrawal fees in their pay outs and the current ATH of bitcoin maybe one of the reason. We shouldnt set aside the huge possibilities and potentials of other altcoins like Ethereum, Binance and XRP that was a good investments too to consider.

You are right. The casino will adjust the fee with the market situations, and as you said, the fee will also increase following the bitcoin price. So that can make the use of the altcoin for withdrawal will be increase. And that can attract the altcoin price will also increase because of the demand for using altcoin increase.

But i don't think that there are even single country that has no media exposure as long as the gambling in that country is legal and not banned.
Perhaps, one or two countries will expose gambling and tells that gambling is legal, and the other will tells gambling is banned. It depends on each government's reaction.

~snip~
actually the issue here is that the capacity to list those given details and i believe that there are some changes here in benefits of each one,i don't know who does the list but for sure there is something inside.
I guess the list will be changing soon. Perhaps, the next year, that lists will replace by other countries since many people work from home, and that can lead them to try to playing gambling. I don't know what benefits of each one. But the casino will get the benefit.

~snip~
Yeah and not just because they are gaining revenue but also what is the effect for those gamblers that has no self control.
When many people get addicted to gambling, that will become a serious matter to the government because it can trigger another problem. The level of crime can also increase, so the government should think much about that.

but i think not in this year to happen?mid of next year or till 4th quarter.
It could be. But that will be no problem for me to wait for the next year because I have many times to buy more before the price increase.

~snip~
If we will make ATH for sure it will be dump back again because too much waiting and stress is what people get this past months.

That is what we already saw with the last ATH. The price rise so high, and then the price is down slowly, and sometimes, the price is dump back. So in the next ATH, I guess that will happen again, so we need to anticipate that moment, especially for people who already got that experience before. We can profit before the price gets dump too hard, but don't be greedy to take profit.
6425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constantly burning out my trades. What do I do to avoid this? on: December 16, 2020, 04:51:19 AM
Just want to thank everyone for taking the time to respond. I have decided to stop and take time away, and focus on other things in my life first. Hopefully, this will bring my mindset down, and help me mentally recover, so that I can go into trades in a calmer mindset, eliminating fear, greed, and urgency.

I'll continue to read and re-visit this post, so please feel free to keep posting.

Thanks again!

Great. That is a wise decision. I hope that you can get an idea to start or learn more lessons about trading when you can enjoy your time. It will help you improve your skills, and I am sure you will have a better analysis than before. Don't forget to learn about controlling your emotion, no matter if you want to back to trading or in your daily life because controlling the emotion will be the important thing that can help you make a better decision in the future. Don't hesitate to back here if you are ready to start trading, of course, after you learn more lessons.
6426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 16, 2020, 03:48:34 AM
Numbers 1 and 2 can happen anytime, and we can't predict when it will come again in the market. But yes, the crypto market now follows where bitcoin moves, so when bitcoin price is down, the altcoin will follow down. But it will not always happen because when bitcoin is down, some altcoin can increase, and even that coin can break the highest price. But once again, the altcoin will always go behind bitcoin and will follow where bitcoin moves. So you need to be careful if you analyze bitcoin or altcoin.
6427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 16, 2020, 02:49:41 AM
It really surprised me, maybe other people surprised too. The first country I thought was Las Vegas would be ranked number one for gamblers
who lose their money on the gambling table. But it turns out that in Australia many people also gamble can even beat Las Vegas.
And I’m not so sure Singapura can come second either. But this could be proof that gambling is indeed very popular for many countries.

We never know the conditions in one country, especially if the gambling industries do not get exposed by the media in that country. Even if that is exposed, people will not think too much about the gambling industry. But since gambling industries grow from time to time, it will need more attention from the government because that can be a problem in the future, especially if many people lose their money in gambling games. Gambling addiction will be an important matter that needs the government's attention. I hope the government can think about that and have a way to solve that problem, just in case, they are ready to face the addiction will happen to their citizen.
6428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: December 16, 2020, 01:49:42 AM
I think pretty similar to you. Betting a few Medium size bets seems much better in my opinion instead of betting everything on one bet. Doing a massive all in bet always seems nice in movies because the hero ends up winning, but in real life the risks ads just too large for me. With more medium size bets we can minimise our risks while still having a decent upside potential from the bets.
Yeah that is correct but if you really believe on that team and that Luck is with you that time, there is no wrong in betting in sole team because the return is really huge and can make a stop instantly once take that all bet in.

When you can have valid data, you can place a bet in a high bet because the team will have a big chance to win. But you don't have to risk big money, even if you know that the team will win easily from the opponent because the situations at the field can change anytime. The strategy will vary from one gambler to others, so we need to adjust the strategy that we think can work in every match. You can also use the strategy from other people, but you should know that their strategy can't always work for you.
6429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 16, 2020, 12:45:08 AM
Myself used to spend on sports events in which I've got good knowing about the players and the winning probabilities. It is always good to go with the lower odds for winning, but this fails when both the teams are almost same in performance. For this reason we need to choose the odds on different levels of analysing about its previous games and also should have alternate betting plans to minimize loss if things didn't worked as predicted.

When both teams are almost the same in performance, that will make us difficult to select. We will usually choose the team that we already know has the best performance in the match before. Although that does not guarantee us to choose the right winner, we can hope to choose the right team.

If we want to choose the team, make sure your data is valid, and you don't get the data from other sources that you don't know. But I see that you have good experience in sports betting, so I believe you know how to choose the right team.

I would invest in bitcoin, ethereum for 50% of all the money and use 20%-30% to invest in gold. The rest money will be in my bank or making another investment in my bank. Although the return is not too big, that will be additional income for me. I don't need Ferrari or the other expensive stuff because that can make me pay big taxes. I prefer to have a house with a large yard and stay with my family and enjoy my life with them. That will means to me because I can spend my time with them.

I am still thinking positively at the end of this year and early knowing that the market movement is indeed very good when bitcoin is down it's easy to come back I think this indicates the next bullrun is coming too so keep an eye on the movement and the extent to which this will continue to rise to high levels , we know that the comparison with before the following year is very far away so it will return to the new ATH and reach the highest score.
Altcoins will arrive soon as before the so-called altcoin season.

We hope that this week can be a good week than the previous week. I see that bitcoin now increases and could back to $19,400. We are close to hitting $20k, and even if that time still is unknown, I am sure that the bitcoin price will hit that price in the end. The altcoin gives a good sign this week, and many of them can move back to the high price. Sooner or later, the altcoin season will come back to the market, and the new ATH for bitcoin will be coming too. We need to prepare for the coming by trying to earn more and more bitcoin, so we can sell it when the new ATH comes.
6432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 15, 2020, 02:36:28 AM
Personally, I never rely on odds when I place my bets because after all both teams are playing the same game with the same rules so the odds are just there to influence your decisions. I'm a high odds roller and I rarely bet under 5odds as I don't see the point of taking smaller odds than 2.50. This is a high risk/high reward strategy but it's better to bet a little and win big or loose small ( big odds )than bet big and win a little  or loose big (small odds ).  I hope it makes sense  Grin

It makes sense, but we need to remember that not all of what we want can become true because sometimes, in the middle of the match, the situations can change, and we don't know how it could be. Your strategy seems good, but I am not sure if that can also work for others because I think others will modify or analyze more about the team to apply your strategy. A gambler will always search for the right strategy for them, and they can not just rely on another strategy. It is good if they can win the match using your strategy.

Indeed, bitcoin fee has gone many times but most gamblers still prefer to use bitcoin, with big holding of bitcoin, you don't worry on the fees, you worry on the volatility that might happen if you'll convert your bitcoin to an altcoins in order to save fees, they would not do that of course.

If they can spend some bitcoin playing gambling, they should not worry about the volatility. That gambler can convert it into an altcoin and use it to place a bet. With some bitcoin at a high price, they will get much amount of one altcoin to make them be able to play gambling longer because they can place a bet in a small amount. And if they win, they can convert it back to bitcoin or directly send it into an exchange or another wallet to hold for a while and sell it when the altcoin price increases.
6434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 15, 2020, 12:30:16 AM
Yes, in my opinion there is a good side and a bad side, in some countries gambling are prohibited and the user can even be arrested, on the other hand gambling can help the country's economy to develop and attract tourists, for example Las Vegas

If the country makes gambling legally, it can help the country to gain more income from the gambling industry. In that country, we will see many casinos available and ready to get more people to play gambling. The government can use taxes to that gambling casino while earning more income from the tourism section.

But the government needs to aware of the gambling activity for their citizen because that can attract them to visit the casino and play gambling for longer. The government needs to think about how they're going to solve addiction to gambling because maybe some people will get addicted to gambling.

What happens to cryptocurrency is people will see that the crypto can be used for subscribing to the services, including to subscribe to the porn industries. I think the gambling and porn industries will be the gate that will open the adoption process will be wide because people will be interested in hiding who they are who use those services.

It could give a chance to the bull run to comes in the next year, and if that happens, we will see the crypto market will get more supports from new people who use those services.

The trend of the market i think many people are thinking it is going up, i also believe the market is up and there will be corrections. With what happens in the short term it will frighten the newcomers of this market over the recent corrections, i believe a lot of people have bought well-priced cryptos over the times. so. Ethereum has always been an important player in this market so trust it, maybe by 2021 we won't be able to buy ETH at less than $ 1000.

It is normal if many people think that the market will go up because we see a good move from almost all of the market's coins. And if we compare it with the last year, this year bring a good sign for the crypto market to have the next bull run.

Although we are still waiting for the next bull run, all coins can still increase, and for the ethereum, this coin shows a good sign to grow, and hopefully, it will back and increase higher in the next bull run.

Gambling is in all parts of the world but considering where it is rampant I have always known Australia to be the hotspot for it. Well honestly speaking whenever I hear of gambling the first thing that comes to my mind is entertainment and having fun while predicting a particular winning number.

Well it’s Obvious now that some or many people take it as a form of occupation, it’s those not change the fact that gambling is still entertaining and for those who depend on it for survival it also help them with some money that if they are lucky with the outcome of their predictions.
Yeah but I didn't expect that Australia will be the number one, I just thought it is US, but then it shows in the data that yes it is confirmed and we can say that Australia is having their biggest losser in gambling this year I think, in that case we can say that in the said country gambling is still in good shape and they doesn't regulate it too much to its extent. I just think that they should advices their peope to manager their wealth properly and not to spend too much.

Many of us did not expect that, but we don't know which country has to be number one because many countries are not on the list. If there is research about that, the list will be different than what we read, so that is normal to see that thing.

As long as they can advise people not to spend their money gambling and manage their money with the right, it will reduce the loss of money in gambling. They can still play gambling, but they need to have limitations before losing more money.
6438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: December 14, 2020, 01:51:50 AM
I think when it comes to gambling; there is no one way to it; and the best strategy is to be yourself and do you. As a gambler; especially if you do football bets; you can notes your anxiousness and correct easily, buying odds won't help in the long run because i believe there are no fixed games anywhere. Also make sure you bet with an amount you can afford to lose.

Besides, to be yourself and do what you can do, you need to know when to place the bets and not bets on any teams. But I think there are many more strategies that we can make, especially on how to have the best strategies that will work for us. Perhaps, every gambler will have a different best strategy as every strategy will not be the same when applied to the gamblers. They need to modify the strategy they have to find what is works for them. Don't just use other people's strategy when you play because that will not always work for you.
6439  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: December 14, 2020, 12:40:34 AM

Most of the gambling sites now are accepting altcoins, and since altcoins now have a good volume or liquidity, it will make gamblers to be confident using an altcoins. However, though the fee is less and faster, we still can't eliminate the reality that there are people who doesn't want to convert, they want to solely gamble using bitcoin and they will take the fees, regardless of the amount.

That gives easiness to us and the other gamblers to use altcoin to withdraw. They get the benefits from altcoin in withdrawal while they can also get benefits if they use altcoin to gamble, and perhaps, the altcoin creation was to reduce the fees instead of using bitcoin.

People who have big money in bitcoin will not use altcoin because they can accept bitcoin fees, whether the fee increases or decreases. They feel confident using bitcoin, and they don't want to use altcoin. Those people don't need altcoin to gamble because they have a huge bitcoin that they can use for anything they want.
6440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 13, 2020, 05:40:10 AM
Hi,

I'm trying to learn how to trade and I was wondering what people here tend to trade between? Do you just have a set list of trading pairs that you stick to? What are your most common trades?

In the past, I always search for a coin with a red candle at the market, but I only choose the coin that can increase back in the next hours. That is before the crypto market has a lot of coins to trade. But after many coins get lists at the market, I decided to use the volume, but only select the potential coin as before. But now, I try to trade bitcoin pair usdt, but sometimes, I trade altcoin pair bitcoin which can give me a profit in bitcoin. If you can trade bitcoin pair usdt, it is enough for you to make a profit because if you select the altcoin, that will be too many altcoins that you need to analyze.
