6421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Long Term Price Forecast on: November 13, 2018, 10:30:09 AM
Yes, I thought that we can overcome the $6500 mental barrier, but its a big psychological wall in front of us that's why it was resistance and we somewhat fall below again. But the good thing is that volatility is very low at this point and we are still hovering around $6300-$6500 prices for quite sometime now.

I think this trend will continue and those TA will be not be very helpful short term. Don't get me wrong, but its obvious that we can't get over the resistance unless there's a good news that investors will see as a catalyst.
6422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy on: November 13, 2018, 09:00:08 AM
It's that time of the year again: Retarded noobs panic selling because they saw some irrelevant news, be it some shitcoin exchanger hacked, be it some idiot holding a lot of bitcoins and selling, or be it anything else: it's time to buy the dip.

Exactly, we have been preaching that for so long in this forum. Lol. We need to look at the bright side of it and not just complain about the price is too damn low and not making people money.

You can thank god or whatever that we are seeing sub $10k again. Once the obligatory retardation that happens every so often it's over, we'll be back up. Remember, limited supply, permanent demand for a decentralized uncensorable digital gold = price can only go up long term against scams such as any fiat ever.

Again, patience is the key. Buy in dips and let your bitcoin sit in your hardware wallet and watch it grow overtime and thank God later for making the right decision.  Grin
6423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stellarx the future of crypto exchange? on: November 12, 2018, 10:44:01 PM
StellarX is great. The only problem - there are not enough good projects built on Stellar except Gratz and Mobius It needs more high-quality interesting projects.

Perhaps its jus too early to say what projects will built on its platform. XRP was like that in the beginning as well. But as soon as they implement a lot of improvements, banks started to take notice and now they got the support they given. So give it some time and see how it pans out.

If its really a great project then many will take notice of it for sure centralized or decentralized.
6424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy! Bearish trend seem over. on: November 12, 2018, 03:37:32 AM
I cant see anybody buying at the moment.  Far too uncertain.  But if you had loads of money to dump and you fancied a gamble and can afford to lose well then maybe.  But for any kind of investment then no way.

They are not buying because partly they are waiting for some sign of a bullish trend, but so far we haven't seen anything so I doubt that we will see the end of a bearish trend this year.

On the other hand, smart investors will look at it sideway trend as time to accumulate more. That is if more casual investors will see this, they might push the market a bit. But majority are very reluctant because most of them have been burned already.
6425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: November 12, 2018, 03:09:08 AM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?

Based on its price movement these past few months I think it is really the end of ethereum because it almost plunge $500 is just a couple of months so maybe it is a hard time for those who invest in ethereum last year.

But as you can see, it has somewhat stabilizes to the $200 mark so I wouldn't say its the end of ETH. Well it has drastically reduced because of the continues dump of project ICO and bounty hunters but it doesn't mean it can't recover in the future.

Like every other coins in the market, they're all struggling as a result of a bear market, But once the bull take over, ETH will go and will definitely hit another all-time-high.
6426  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: November 11, 2018, 11:22:34 AM
As long as the tax is reasonable and governments will regulate crypto then I don't have issue with that. But the problem is, government is taxing like 20%-30% so that's not good for crypto holder. It might even give a signal that they just wanted a outright ban. Crypto enthusiast will be forced to either pay the high taxes or just abandon crypto, it will be difficult for us.
6427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Head Teachers in China Caught Red Handed Ether Mining at Work on: November 11, 2018, 11:08:37 AM
This is a first,

https://bitcoinnews.com/head-teachers-in-china-caught-red-handed-ether-mining-at-work/

Quote
Two school principals in Hunan province, China, have gotten themselves into hot water for mining Ethereum at work.

Lei Hua, Principal of the Puman Middle School in Chenzhou, Hunan convinced his wife that mining Ethereum might be a good way to earn some extra income, then put 7 machines to work at school.

Lei was put on to the benefits of crypto mining by a cousin, prompting him to spend 10,000 yuan on equipment, one machine followed later by another 6 which he ran round the clock in one of the school’s classrooms. The only problem being between June and November last year he used over $2K of the school’s electricity.

So profitable were the school principal’s extracurricular activities that his vice- principal decided to join him. The activities were only tumbled when teaching staff observed unusual levels of noise emanating from the schools’ physics’ lab which clearly couldn’t have been caused by lessons, although the 24 whirring was originally put down to the school’s air conditioning. This noise was emanating from an extra two machines set up there by vice-principle Wang, also purchased from the principal’s cousin.

Lmao, not so smart principal. The idea is good btw, however, the method they used is not. Obviously, someone will notice the dramatic rise in school's electricity. Luckily the principal was just kick off of the school while the vice-principal was just reprimanded.
6428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Regulations and the Future of DEXs on: November 10, 2018, 11:34:39 PM
Yes, I agree. Exchanges will go to Malta for safe haven, (Binance and OKex already did, and I read the Changelly as well). And then more regulatory pressure coming from USA, so its either bow down to US, close your trading platform or require KYC for you customers, which means your business is going down as well. Time has changed a lot, so its a bit more scary as others may have thought it to be.
6429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wonder of PR on: November 10, 2018, 10:20:42 AM
Friends, McAfee increased the price of SKY by 12%.
What do you think : how long will the SKY price rise? Are there any ideas of PR, for your favorite tokens?

Well I must that that McAfee is really good at shilling coins if SKY is up by 12% because of his promotion. But we all know that this is just hype, sooner or later it will fall hard.

So its either you ride the boat with them and bail out when it's going to sink otherwise you will also go down with them. I'm seeing this hype will just last for a couple of days and then followed by a massive dump.
6430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market still stagnant! on: November 10, 2018, 10:01:17 AM
It seems like the market condition in mid-year is usually a stable market condition, you can see from the price movements from 2013 to 2018, the cracking of bitcoin prices will usually fall when the year starts and will rise at the end of the year has a lot of price movements so you should be able to use it when conditions are stagnant like now to buy some bitcoin.
It might not fall more and if we plan to hold it for long then buying now will give us more profit in the future. Bitcoin is still a top coin to invest with, it have many uses that we can get ease for using.

Agree. We have really seen the last bottom price and I doubt that we are going to see another bottom at the end of the year. On the other side of the spectrum, the price seems to be very stable so we will not also see another massive bull run, so its tit-for-tat.

But its better this way though, instead of seeing market volatility that a single news will really make the price goes deeper that will worry most of those investors. And this is might be calm before the store, or accumulation period for everyone.
6431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: November 09, 2018, 06:52:39 AM
Not all can be successful  in trading only people with correct mindset and discipline in will be successful , many of them forget discipline and lose there patience when they lose there money and they start gambling

There's a lot of room to grow in trading, but not in gambling. In trading if you made a mistakes then let it be a lesson for you. And I'm sure that you will learn and not commit the same mistakes again. So whether you have the wrong mindset in the beginning, you can adjust your trading plan and strategies so that you will have a chance to get successful on it. Unlike in gambling wherein there's no chance at all and we haven't heard any successful gambler out there.
6432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesnt only consume too much electricity, it destroys the environment on: November 08, 2018, 10:19:01 AM
Isn't it that banks consumes more energy than bitcoin? Why are those environmentalist not attacking them? Ah because they have their own agenda from behind.

And yes, miners are using renewable energy like solar, geothermal and hydro but still is not enough for those who wishes to attack bitcoin mining for their own benefits (whatever/whoever they are).
6433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the bull run return this December? on: November 07, 2018, 04:18:34 AM
Today i seen all mayor crypto in the green, and my prediction the price will keep going up slowly but sure, market crypto will be back to bull run again for sure , we need only patient waiting for it and dont sell in loss because normally in the next bull market, the price of crypto will going up higher than previous bull run.

Isn't it surprising to see the market suddenly went green? It might has been some positive news around (I haven't research for it though), but I'm happy to see today's positives.

Of course its been preached here that patience is the key in this market. Otherwise, you might be selling for a loss and the potential to get a good ROI is diminished. So stay focus and be positive and everything will be good in the end.
6434  Other / Off-topic / Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ?? on: November 07, 2018, 03:59:34 AM
It's very possible for surprise as start of this year let's see few months and wait what have to done mostly experts are with this view for market go up.

Exactly, bitcoin has so many aces up to his sleeves to I'm no surprised if it will suddenly spike this month as there are a lot of positive news like the Bakkt and the SEC review or decision.

I don't think there's a big surprise this year. for example it will go up, maybe it will only reach $ 10k, not up to $ 20k and it doesn't surprise someone for the previous price.

At least $10k is not that bad isn't it? We should stay away from the mindset of another all-time-high because we know that its not possible this year. Besides, putting its better not to expect it so that we won't be disappointed, just saying.
6435  Economy / Economics / Re: Large volume on: November 05, 2018, 09:45:33 PM
Well South Koreans is only part of the equation year. If the OP is implying that a break out run should occur, I doubt it because as I have said, it will take the whole crypto market to really uplift everything and not just Koreans or Japanese market for that matter.

And we shouldn't be surprised though, as South Koreans are really interested on crypto ever since. And we're still trading sideways so those volumes (fake volume or not) has no significant effect whatsoever.
6436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will PayPal start accepting bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 09:28:26 PM
Although Bitcoin and Paypal are sometimes perceived as competitors, I don't think Paypal cares about Bitcoin. Comparing volumes of payments, Bitcoin is still used by an enthusiast fraction of people who decide to pay online. However, there is a possible window of opportunity for a company that makes a bridge between crypto and Paypal.

But there could be a time wherein Paypal will have to concede and will have no other choice but to accept bitcoin it they wanted to live and survive in this cut throat business.

Anyways, if they are wise enough, maybe down 5 years from now, they're going to accept bitcoin or any other crypto for that matter, whether they like it or not as crypto.
6437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn trading? on: November 04, 2018, 08:36:55 AM
As @crairezx20 have already given you lots of link to ponder, I just wanted to add that crypto trading is a long journey, its not that after you fail or experience loss, you will suddenly quit. You shouldn't have that kind of mindset, otherwise you will not win in this game.

Also learn from your mistakes and better trade using with mind and not your emotions. Goodluck and I hope that you reach your goals in this game called "trading".
6438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin growth every year on: November 03, 2018, 12:03:53 PM
"Past performance is no guarantee of future results"

It's okay as theories go, but there's no way of accurately predicting what's going to happen.  2019 might be another fairly stable year or we could see some extremely volatile movements.  It's anyone's guess.

Also, price topics generally go in the Speculation board.
You may, does not believe me, and it's free. but in my opinion, 2019 will be a year of reconciliation, bitcoin must return to regulating the system after a long market correction.

Anyways, everyone is entitled to their opinion, so let's just say the we respect it. However, basing on the response of the members here, its really hard to predict where the price could be in 2-3 years time. Even last year massive growth was unprecedented and no one see it coming, so I would say that its better to wait and see how it pans out in the next few years or so.
6439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: November 03, 2018, 11:49:48 AM
Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

Of course there's a big risk because we all know that most of them are shitty coins anyways, However, if you were able to get it before some pump groups do their thing, then you are going to profit big time. So it really up to you to decide, whether the risk is worth or not.
6440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Influence of Bounty Participants on: November 02, 2018, 10:30:43 PM
Lately there have been many who argue about bounty participants, some argue that the more bounty participants the better the new project will be. and there are also those who argue that bounty participants must be limited so they can avoid the number of dumper when a project is completed.

I have questions
1. How influential is this bounty participant for a new project?

Only projects can answer that. We really don't know the numbers because I haven't seen any ICO acknowledging that bounty participants really bring investors on their project.

2. If the bounty participant is restricted what will affect the success of a new project?

Hard to say but for sure exposure will be limited, imagine hundred of bounty hunters promoting your project as compare to 50? Of course more is better. As for dumping, its been a practice ever since, I don't know how's its a problem now. The issue is that we're in the bear market that's why we're seeing it. But last year, no one was complaining about this practice.
