6421  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: January 19, 2019, 03:33:15 PM
As we experienced for the past few months, crypto market price is still declined and maintain its position.

For me, i really believed that somehow their are big people or personalities behind it,who controlling the crypto market, it's a some sort of strategy for them to be able to gain huge profit.

Hey we’re yet in an extended bear phase which unfortunately is showing no signs of ending, however that has not dampened people’s spirit towards buying bitcoins. If you see Bitcoins prices have managed a strong resistance around 3500$, but is struggling to break the levels of 4000$, once it does we may see a slow but steady bull rally. I believe the people you’re referring are called Whales, yes they do have a significant say in the movement of bitcoins prices.
6422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: January 19, 2019, 11:14:52 AM
I think during IPL the things would start getting much better for the teams as everyone would require the form to be their in the world cup and if somebody plays better in IPL and loses the form in world cup would be the worst thing. So it can turn around from IPL.
Why it will happen? Players will have a better warm up ahead to world cup. Nowadays, there is less difference between t20 and one day international. I think there will be no big problem.

Hey I’ll disagree as it’s disastrous to play in IPL ahead of the World Cup, while the players will definitely earn a lot of money in IPL, but there’s no greater glory than winning the World Cup. I don’t think the form in IPL can be carried forward in the World Cup, as both are different format tournaments. Also it’s pertinent to note that all the top teams will call back their players, as they’ll be keen to avoid any kind of injuries ahead of the World Cup.
6423  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BITDICE -2019 mBTC Christmas and New Year Celebrations [2+ BTC in Prizes] 🎲 on: January 19, 2019, 07:53:14 AM
Two main reasons. First, I work very long hours in my office, and my company allows us to rest or even stay in the building after our hours or in between. They even let us use internet on certain computers for leisure, but everything is connected through their own VPNs. I don't understand exactly why, but this way they can purge our computers or whatever, I'm not sure of the technical details. They also allow us to access some sites freely we can't do on normal ISP. Secondly, my mobile provider is very restrictive so even on my phone I use VPN (but my own download apps).
That's a good company but always be careful on accessing to the internet as they can monitor the websites you visited, the fact that you are using their properly to do your stuff online, the more it's riskier on your part on the privacy side.
You made a mistake. 21k USD is 100 months salary in my country, not 6 months:) Min wage here is about $200 a month, but if you have a degree, you can earn at least $500. And most people get cheated to work for less because the laws here are not strong. In nearby countries, people earn even $30 a month.
I stand corrected, miscalculated it, admittedly, not really good in math though Grin

So you can understand, even for some people if they have free internet they don't mind on the phone to collect free BTC every hour.

People should be smarter nowadays, money is in the internet if they are just open minded on finding a new opportunity.
For me, even if you are living in poor country, it should not be a hindrance to fulfill your financial goal because if you are not contented with what you are earning, you will always look for a better opportunity to improve it, and crypto is my answer to that.

Hey I remember even I had voiced the same concerns about playing in office, but it seems his company is really relaxed and they have good security measures in place. The sites you’re referring are faucets ones, and I’m sure you’ll be active on freebitco. I’ll agree crypto has given us all a chance to increase our income, and so has Bitdice with cash back, loss back and other levels on their site.
6424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inplay match predictions of all Sports bet on: January 19, 2019, 03:35:21 AM
Australian Open

3rd round - Nishikori v Sousa .

Both are playing with full energy right now and Sousa seems to have improved his game . Odds look good for Nishikori on sportsbet.io @ 1.25 and I suggest you guys to go for it as I believe he will somehow pull this off.

I missed this match but Sharapova caused an upset and she’s in the finale now, I guess one needs to be really careful when they select their bets. There’s a big match coming today in the premier league Arsenal vs Chelsea, both of them need to win this match to stay in the hunt for the fourth spot. I would take the odds of 2.30 of Chelsea winning the game, they’re stronger and better than Arsenal what do you’ll say?.
6425  Economy / Economics / Re: You were warned on: January 18, 2019, 06:17:22 PM
I agree with everything you said, in fact, I had some reading about the upcoming crisis and the money printed to delay it, the only way out to avoid this upcoming crisis is to trigger a big war, I believe that it is only about time until they trigger a Worldwar 3 because small wars will not help any more.

Hey there’s no doubt that left in my mind that soon we shall see another repeat of the financial crisis like we witnessed in 2008, all the top analysts are trying their best to convince people otherwise. I believe that these problems have been in existence since a long time now, and it has further aggravated thanks to the egos of political leaders. The war you speak of would be the end of this world, as each country has nukes so let’s pray it never happens.
6426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, governments on: January 18, 2019, 01:58:22 PM
I don't think the government is investing in bitcoin secretly, but it doesn't matter whether they are secretly investing or not, this is why everyone is free to buy bitcoin, because this is a peer to peer transaction that is decentralized without central authority and can also affect policies and will make a profit for them

Hey no the government does not invest secretly in bitcoins, some governments have legalised it and some have rejected it. Take a look at two Asian countries where Japan considers Bitcoin as a legal tender, India does not considers it as a legal tender. I believe if the governments were wiser, they could legalise it and then put taxes on it for more revenue.
6427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are those buying when the price is down and almost everyone is dumping ? on: January 18, 2019, 12:00:06 PM
I think the whales are the ones buying when the price is down
The full time big investors too do the same

But if you follow the crypto currency baulk trends
It’s always best to dyor then buy cheap only to sell high

Hey you’re right majority of the transactions are done by the whales, whenever the prices are crashing and some transactions can be done by institutional investors too. I believe they have a simple strategy buy in bulk when the prices are down, and then dump it in bulk when prices are it’s peak. I feel as a investor one should mirror them, buy in dips and at low prices, then sell when the prices are at it’s peak.
6428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 18, 2019, 07:04:07 AM
I do not know the exact reason Zidane chose to leave Real Madrid even though until now he has not coached any team.

I think the team needs a lot of chances, starting from the president, Florentino Perez, he needs to go, along with some players that are obviously past their prime like Marcelo or Benzema.

I disagree on the part of the president because nobody can ran Real Madrid better than him in this current generation and i don't think his absence will do the team any good. The team in general needs complete overhauling together with the coaching staff, players like Karim Benzema should be sold or loaned away from the club in order to allow some young players the chance to play up there.

I’ll second that no one is better than Perez to run a club like Real Madrid, I’ll agree he’s impatient at times but that attitude is what has delivered trophies for the club. I’ll also disagree with the fact that he saw a debacle coming and left, it was due to lack of support from Perez over Bale issue which forced him to end his time at the club. I was surprised Benzema has lasted till now, half of their squad needs to be resold and they need someone like Neymar to get back their glory days.
6429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptopia Hacked. Will BTC Crash? on: January 18, 2019, 04:18:19 AM
I don't think that this will affect the price of bitcoin so much. I'm sorry that this exchange was hacked or if is an inside job. What is my concern: all exchange hold coins on cold wallets as i know, so how exchanges got hacked and coins stolen?

Hey there’s no correlation between cryptopia being hacked and bitcoins prices coming down, as hacks in exchanges have become so common that the market has stopped reacting to these news. I have always suspected it to be an insider hand, but there has never been any conclusive proof of such. That’s a valid concern, but some funds are kept in hot wallets to pay out users on a daily basis, I believe those are the funds that are usually targeted.
6430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 17, 2019, 06:13:05 PM
Raonic was super strong mentally, served great although conditions played into his hands with roof closed. He will be real test for anyone this year. Simply because courts are faster this AO.

and the free tip for tomorrow is SEppi to win vs Tiafoe ODD 1.94 , because his experience is huge and he upped form in recent matches. Can bring his a game on hard courts. Tiafoe is ok, but can consider him happy to win vs Anderson who injured his forearm and was heavily affected.

Raonic delivered an impressive performance in today’s match, just when it felt he would not be moving in the next round he surprised us all by winning the match. I always believed he has the potential as he was the runner up in 2016 Wimbledon, it’s only a matter of time before he becomes a real threat to the big stars.

Number 7 seed Dominic Thiem is out of the tournament, he retired in the third set of his match today after being led 2-0.

I feel Thiem has been out of shape for quite a while, while it’s sad to see him go there’s no doubt he was being bullied in this match by the wild card entrant Popyrin.

6431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 17, 2019, 04:09:53 PM

Yeah, good old days. Dhoni spot is fixed in World cup squad no matter what his critics say. As a cricketer, he brings lots of things on the table be it wicket keeping or an abundant amount of experience with his calmness especially during the critical moments (Field)

I am in favor of Pant too and would love to see him in world cup 15 men squad at-least but as a batsman. Chances are very thin due to tough competition for number 4 and 6 in between Ambati, Kartik, Kedar Jadhav.

Hey Ms Dhoni is the most experienced cricketer in the Indian team, and it’ll be foolish to leave him out especially in a tournament like the World Cup. I know he’s not in the top form one expects him to be in, but at his age I would choose him for his experience rather than form. They should definitely consider keeping Pant in the team, as he’ll be able to finish close matches but there’s tough competition for his spot.
6432  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 the Bullrun year? ( many aspects ) on: January 17, 2019, 01:46:22 PM
I think it doesn't matter if ETF is rejected or approve and I don't think that the price will increase suddenly. What we need to see the bull market is attracting more and more people to come and buy bitcoin and makes them realize that bitcoin is the best digital investment. The mass adoption itself will make bitcoin spreads into many people in out there, and I am sure many of them will invest their money in bitcoin, and in the end, this will make the bull will come again.

Hey while the rejection of Bitcoins Etf will not trigger a collapse, I believe we will see minor volatility or not even that as the possibilities of it being rejected has already been discounted by the market. I’ll disagree with you on the point we may not see a rally, if it’s approved we definitely will see a major rally. Indeed you’re right that adoption is the key, as more adoption will further fuel bitcoins prices and lead a rally.
6433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 17, 2019, 10:45:24 AM
Chelsea agree Gonzalo Higuain loan deal with Juventus. I wonder why did Chelsea took Higuain

I’m not surprised by Chelsea’s decision to take him on loan, he has an excellent track record and is the kind of striker that can uplift Chelsea. If you’re not aware of Chelsea’s goal scoring problem then, you should take a look at their strikers poor performance this season. I also believe that Higuain who played and flourished under Sarri tutelage, was keen to make a move and he shall definitely leave his mark on their season.
6434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 17, 2019, 03:34:11 AM
Dang! this thread was buried all the way down to the 4th page lol

Anyone watching the Supercup final today? Juventus vs AC Milan.

There are some rumours going around saying that Higuain could miss the game today, some people are speculating that it is due to his inminent transfer to Chelsea...could be a big blow for Milan if he can't play today. Anyways, I think i'm going with +1.5 goals @1.33 and BTTS @2.10...not feeling confident about the latter but we'll see.

It was a decent match but everyone including me knew with Ronaldo starting for Juventus, only they would win and he scored the only goal of the match. Those rumours were true as Higuain is set for a transfer to Chelsea, and he’s not committed to Milan and was brought in as a late sub but failed to do any impact. Also I feel Milan could have taken it till the end, but the red card for them swinged the game in Juventus favour.
6435  Other / Meta / Re: Apologies. on: January 16, 2019, 10:58:53 AM
Many apologies for not having started any threads over the last couple of days. I spent this morning and early afternoon on the beach at Hayling Island. The cafe on the beach only accepts cash, they haven't got round to using those new fangled credit card things. They also have a sign saying "Dogs welcome, but no cats, sorry". I haven't worked up the courage to try to convince them to accept Bitcoin. They don't have any WiFi, so they would need to synchronise their node by carrier seagull.

Anyway, I'm now back in the "office", so I'll go and see if anyone has posted a translation request in Fit to Talk. Unless something exciting turns up, I'll hold off adding a new tune for a couple of days. I'll go on a merit awarding spree at 16:16 ( McDonalds time ), so you guys had better start posting those wonderful creations on the Beginners' board. Don't forget that today is the day of the "meaningless vote" for Theresa May ( but probably won't), so I'll check the political board as well.

[ This post is certified as an original creation from the offices of Jet Cash ]

I guess two things are certain after reading your post, people should be careful when visiting Hayling island, also yet digesting the fact they didn’t accept credit cards. The second thing your home coming is going to be greeted with messages like dear sir, please sir give me a merit brace your self. I believe if someone is wise enough they should make a video of this thread, and this post in particular and claim those 25 merits.
6436  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merits for all Rank Members - Conditions Apply - 5 merits available. on: January 16, 2019, 06:27:56 AM

I’m happy to do my bit for the forum, thanks to this system in place now everyone makes concrete efforts to post quality stuff. I have reviewed all the applications, and the deserving one have got merits, also many applications were not good however I’m hoping going ahead better applications shall come. As of now there’re five more merits available, if anyone wishes to claim those submit your application below.

Good timing, ain't it? Just 2 weeks after the "Proof of Keys" event. Remember: "NOT YOUR KEYS, NOT YOUR BITCOIN" -Aantonop

From Cryptopia_NZ Twitter(https://twitter.com/Cryptopia_NZ/status/1085084168852291586):

Hey this is a bad event and I can’t help but feel sad for all those people who had coins on Cryptopia, I wish they’ll be able to withdraw their coins going ahead. In my initial days I used to hold my coins on exchanges, but then I realised despite all their securities they cannot be trusted. I have repeatedly said here, and will keep on saying your coins are safer in a wallet with you rather than a exchange, which are a must avoid.
6438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions if Bitcoin ETFs are approved on: January 15, 2019, 06:03:15 PM
To my personal opinion the influence of ETF approval on Bitcoin price is exaggerated. Even if approval happens I don't expect such big impact, at least not at long term. Some price rise might happen but this will be more of an instant character and the range will not be so big.
Also,  why relaying on ETF when we are all aware that this could be delayed indefinetely so don't count on that in making your personal goals and strategy.

Hey I believe there’s a huge wave of sentiments riding on the approval of Bitcoins Etf, hence if approved I believe it shall have significant impact on the prices. It may not have the same impact like the one we witnessed during December 2017 rally, but it’ll definitely propel prices upwards at least up to 8k. Also it’s pertinent to note that if it was not to be approved we may only see a minor correction in the prices, as the possibilities of it not being approved has already been discounted.

An user got very lucky today on dice netting over 7 BTC profit with a 6+ BTC win in a single bet!

Hey that’s some incredible luck that user has, I could not believe he won that in a single bet but it’s true he did won. I guess he proved the quote correct, fortune favours the brave, he took the risk and it payed of handsomely for him many congratulations to him. Is it just me or anyone else also has been observing that, Bitdice wagering amounts keeps on getting bigger and better which shows how much people love and trust playing there.
6440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake movie file infects Windows and steals or tricks bitcoin users on: January 15, 2019, 11:45:05 AM
Anybody who keeps their bitcoin’s on a computer where they download files is awking for trouble. Sure it’s ok to use it for browsing etc but you are seriously asking for trouble if you even think about downloading torrents.

There is no cure for idiocy.

Hey I believe not all can use separate devices for both as not all will have the luxury of extra cash, hence these people are often the soft targets. I believe in a situation like this one should install good antivirus protection, and make sure to daily run the antivirus and if the antivirus says it’s risky leave the file or site instantly. Also it’s pertinent to note that in today’s digital world I would advise to stream online, rather than download files which may be harmful for your system.

Yep, and for me as a relatively non-techie guy, this scares the pants off of me.

This is why I stress on having a good antivirus program installed, most of these now come with search engine tools which shows whether the site is safe or not, also they’ll scan your file and help you be safe. I feel you should consider getting one, and it’s just not non techie guys, remember the recent Electrum wallet scam so many fell for it.
