from what i know it's the supply & demand, technology and team behind the coin, and regulation.
if you name what's affecting the price please elaborate so maybe we can learn new things from you're insights
The name was nothing to do, but that was related to the ticker that already used by the project itself. The name didn't give any impact to the coin. Because a lot of the token which had non sense name get decent track on its value rather than other with a good name. |

Could the last hours increase in volume of the Gambit coin (GAM) be a pump and dump scheme in action? Is this normaly a smart thing to jump on if you "get in early"?
It should be a signal, But i think that will no so far from the pnd coin. As you can see the only exchange site which already listed the gambit is only bittrex. And the volume are not showing decent value for day trade. Just like a bitsend the movement is predictable at all. If you are wanna playing with it. |

I would change RISE for ARK. Your portfolio looks good with the big coins on top. How did you spread your money on these coins? There will be no new coin for the metropolis hardfork if you are expecting to get the free airdrop token like bitcoincash and that was wrong at all. because the only fork that issued the token was the DAO hardfork. |

Have you tried about the latest extension has made by ether developers? it looks better for you, But I think that will be difficult to be revealed about the scam project. Just like an authorship project which already determined as the scam project and they are fooling their investors, This needs the more research and can't be done instantly. |

I just joined an ICO, is there any possibilities that I will be scammed. They have just collected $5-10 million.
So far, ico now has too many of them, and sometimes you will get confused in which them are really potentials, but of course still you need to be careful anyway on choosing ico. Maybe that's one of the reason why China banned the ico to their country. Thats true but China not banned the ICOīs they try to find regulations for this. On the one side it is good that there is be a regulation on ICO (because of scamming) but on the other side itīs bad for investors  I say all adult people in this scene should know what to do. Others should leave there hands from such things. The PBOC has announced the banned if that was a temporary until the regulators will be finding a way to make such a regulation to the icos, There are so many scammers in these days that gives the mandatory for them to protect their civilian or even the investors to not get scammed by the scammers. |

Icolist, tokenmarket seems become a reliable place for you to get the list of the upcoming icos, but remember not all of the icos already listed on there because there are some projects that on needs to be published that mean they already had the investors or private investors. You must do a manual research for that. |

I see everyday a new ICO pops up out of nowhere and every one of them want to collest millions of dollars.Will not that kill the market and good and genuine icos will also have to suffer?
That will kill each other, but there are some projects will be existed due to the good roadmap and the achivement by the developers of token itself, i remember a lot of the token that already in the top 50 - 100 coinmarketcap gets throw away to the over top 100 coinmarketcap that just like a bullet to shoot others. |

Im learning day by day about alt coins. But one thing I'm confused about is the market cap. What exactly is the market cap and how is it important to the success of the coin? Does a higher market cap mean a better chance the coins value increases?
Market cap is the total value of all supply the coin that already distributed into the market or in some words that reflected the total supply of coin that already existed. I can say that just like a valuation of the total supply already traded in the market and held by the developers. |

It isn't so bad. China is only about 80% of bitcoin trading and China only has 20% of the world's population. If China shuts everything down, you still have 20% of bitcoin trading and almost 80% of the world's population. Unless other countries, like the US. follow suit and start banning things. But the odds of that happening are probably in the next year is only 50% or so.
Forget about the chinese, The only answer that gives an impact in the future to build the decentralized exchange site which gives the more anonymous to the users and that will be more secure rather than use the decentralized exchange site. Chinese and US against us but Canada,japan and swiss are our friends.  |

That's right because polo was applied high qualification to the coin to be added on the poloniex exchange site which already filled by zrx. I think that was not just a hype because it still traded above the ico price and the contributors still sit on the 4x of ico price. |

but so many new ICO, how to check if it's scam, or worth to invest...
A lot of them are using the same templates and that didn't make sense to see the project doesn't have its own templates. You must try to see the dev team and the comment about that, the more people will try to comment on the project and the more experienced you can get from there. |

This morning i saw a post on kyber telegram channel that Chinese investors have been excluded from their crowdsale. I think this will have a serious effect on the ongoing ICOS . I hope they come out with a solution to this by just regulating the ICOS, truly a lot of icos are just out there to scam investor and will not fulfil a single promise they make or execute their roadmap.
I believe the chinese will find another way to participate in the icos. But the kyber already used the id verification to verificating the whitelist of the investors. I will be so difficult to send the fact identification and the chinese can't participate in the ico. The only possible thing to avoid chinese investors this caused by the anticipate the pboc's warning. |

Hi guys, I want to know if there exists altcoins with proof of stake.
I have Onions and Iīm staking 10% of my balance per year. The second year will be 5% and the third 2%.
Is there any other altcoin with this feature? I heard about Decred too, but I donīt have enough information.

A lot of the best Pos coin such as waves and all of the assets, in my opinion, Deep onion was including on the Post but with high pre mine for the dev that makes it so shady for everyone. You can try to follow some predictions. But if the ethereum will be migrating to the pos and that was the best pos altcoin. |

I just think a lot of people will be buying the rumour about the beta release in the october, But it doesn't mean the big hype and big pump will come after it. You must buy in the dip to get a lot of profit after the pump caused by the rumour of the beta release. That was so dificult. |
