6441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019? on: January 23, 2019, 01:21:03 AM
  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
These are my first two choice as usual.
6442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is ethereum on the rise?? on: January 23, 2019, 12:58:18 AM
initially the news of hardfork from ethereum did increase ethereum prices but not long after that prices dropped again, now ethereum
ranks third in CMC, XRP managed to reclaim second place at CMC, this month it seems unlikely that ethereum prices will reach $ 200
It made the price up to $158 but didn't pursue. I thought it's the road up to $200 but I guess I'm wrong.

The upgrade was delayed and there's not much hype to it. That's what people like when there's a fork, everyone expects to have a new coin but right now this is an interesting fork because it's more of a network upgrade and won't create any new fork coin.
6443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019, A Challenging Year for Ethereum on: January 23, 2019, 12:24:21 AM
Ethereum needs to solve its main problem this is a problem of scalability and only then the price will start to grow
The devs are starting to do that.

But one solution which is the constantinople upgrade was delayed and will be pursued after a month. I guess this is really a tough start not just for ethereum but for the whole market. This month is about to end but I'm still positive that something will explode which will make the market healthier again.
6444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it still last? on: January 22, 2019, 02:34:45 PM
I think that we need to suffer one more year, then the accumulation phase of the major players of their portfolios should end. The market has already been pumped up and lowered several times, there is no reason to think that this is the end and it is no longer interesting to the public.
As long as there's enough demand for bitcoin the market will surely get up soon.

Don't think of it that the market will have a very tragic ending, it's just getting started. Almost 2 years that it went on mainstream and keeps on moving alongwith the recognition from the people.
6445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any way I can exchange all altcoins for free? on: January 22, 2019, 01:56:59 PM
You want to trade for free?

What if you want to withdraw? most of the exchange does require fee for withdrawal.
6446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and BTC bottom 2019 on: January 22, 2019, 01:33:36 PM
it is seen as eth and btc will go down to their dip in 2019.
it can be an oppurtinity for buying.
No can do if the dip will continue for this year. But it's a fact that this time is still an opportunity to keep on buying, those who have missed it still has a chance to do.

in 2020 we can see good days.
We will because of bitcoin halving.
6447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 22, 2019, 12:39:40 PM
Anonymity for transactions and regulation for exchanges that operates locally.

Many are subject against KYC because they are scared that their data will be hacked which is of a trend right now. Regulations strengthens the validity of exchanges and its users but it doesn't guarantee that prices will increase. People like to attest regulations because of the belief that it will increase prices.
Regulations should bring institutional investors, that is why people believe that regulations will help increase the price of cryptocurrencies. But I think, that regulations will decrease the volatility and is that good?
Regulation will decrease anonymity that's the counterpart of having it.

No another 10x,100x in the future?  Grin
I'm optimistic with 10x in the future.
6448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency has come to stay on: January 22, 2019, 12:13:14 PM
No one can stop the wishes of many people and someday I'm sure that demand will defeat everything.
Having the certain purpose and defeating 'everything' wasn't the sole purpose of having crypto's.

It's for the transactions to become better and quicker but we're the one who thinks that it will defeat everything, first the banks. But what's important is that it will definitely stay here and its demand is hard to think of it that sooner or later will go to zero.

It's a reality that crypto's are here to stay. Some will thrive but many will also lose along their way.

It's no longer a hype period that we're with right now. The problem is that people are now scared to it but those who are optimistic are willing to take the risk and take care of their potential future with crypto's. I'm betting in with crypto's and put an interesting amount of my wealth to it.
6452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins on: January 22, 2019, 10:22:18 AM
also i am a holder waiting for the bull market unfortunately there is the real risk that the altcoin still fall in value or are even be delisted (10mt and 10mti) then the council is fixate a personal value that can go well and sell
It is inevitable that altcoins might lost in value.

Some will survive but many will lost their entire value, this will happen when people will learn that few altcoins aren't worth holding anymore.
6453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in EOS on: January 22, 2019, 09:35:21 AM
Okay let's go back to the question of OP.

During December 16, 2017 EOS price = $8.13

Having $5,000 you'll have 615 EOS

Let's check December 16,2018 EOS price = $1.90

615 EOS * $1.9 = $1,168

Compute on how much OP lost if he held it until last year.
6454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto TV Show on: January 22, 2019, 09:06:15 AM
It will gain exposure and yes it will.

Just think of it when CNBC and other mainstream news put bitcoin on their exclusive, whatever they say the people who aren't knowledgeable about it believes what they say. So as a counterpart, it will really educate the people who wants to know more about crypto's.
6455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull market in 2020 on: January 22, 2019, 08:54:07 AM
i am waiting a big move like 2017 in 2020 too. in every 3 years btc make a big move. and in 2020 there will one too.
Do you have any certain chart for that 3 years allowance? I don't think that there's significance to say that every 3 years bitcoin moves positively.

2020 looks very promising but we will not know it until we see.
6456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain technology on: January 22, 2019, 08:41:56 AM
Yep, you can earn through their ways of generating new coins. But I haven't seen a very successful dapp that mainly focuses with games. I'm a gamer and I would love to embrace blockchain technology.

But due to the competition and lack of knowledge of most of the gamers with the technology, it's hard to for dapps to gain attention from the gaming community.
6457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think that Bitcoincash will replace Bitcoin on: January 22, 2019, 08:01:33 AM
So far I don't think that BCH will replace bitcoin. What I know is that BCH is the same altcoin as others, and this will still be an altcoin. The bitcoin community will continue to be strong despite many strikes from any party.
It won't replace bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the real bitcoin and no matter what the BCH team/devs will advertise and misinform the people of telling BCH is the real bitcoin, they will not be able to replace the real bitcoin. Bitcoin is the only bitcoin that people should recognize as the major and leader of this market.
6458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-01-21]Ethereum’s important upgrade postponed to late February on: January 22, 2019, 07:39:24 AM
I thought it will only take up to a week but that's for real?

Are they trying to go along with the hype of ETF's result?
To make sure there will be vulnerbility in the code is much better rather than put the speculator as their priority.
There were hundreds of platforms are running in ethereum blockchain and that means this fork must safe from any vulnerability.
Yes, I understand that but I think it was just going to take few weeks for them to fix it.

I'll wait until everything is fixed and I hope the date they give is final.
6459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-01-21]Ethereum’s important upgrade postponed to late February on: January 22, 2019, 04:33:25 AM
I am surprised what has happened with ethereum. why it is postponed the upgrade. It was first postponed to 19th January and now February. It is not the professional way to handle this.
They have to delay it for future test scenarios.

They postponed it Due to Security Vulnerability.
