6442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to learn how to trade on: July 09, 2017, 02:06:18 AM
You can trade at the trading site like bittrex in my opinion if you are learning to trade search in the internet first how it works and then deposit a small amount of bitcoin in to the trading site after that learn the trading by experience and after you learn it deposit big money then start earning in trading.
6443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can bitcoin be used for regular transactions.. on: July 09, 2017, 01:54:17 AM
The biggest fear that many will have is how do we use this currency in regular transactions, like for some fruit, veggies, plumbing or a beer.

So far this seems like an easy issue to resolve. The technology is there, the apps are coming along and there are a few sites that offer auction style sales. The wallets are there and all that is needed are localized people to help local businesses.

The last step is the education. Anyone have good ideas on the best path of education on applicable purchases using bitcoin?
Why you need bitcoin to use it in regular activities when you can exchange it into fiat and use it more proficient? I think that is too impractical because the use of the bitcoin will be limited however, if you will exchange first with fiat the money will became more productive.
6444  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: July 09, 2017, 01:51:58 AM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?

Definitely, Bitcoin is being mentioned in some business courses. I am sure some schools have adjusted their curriculum to accommodate the cryptocurrency as a whole.snd not just Bitcoin alone. Honestly, it will be a good thing if more countries adopt Bitcoin into their financial system...

There are certainly a few number of universities who does that however we still don't know if the matter is one sided or not. what i have observed is people who lacks knowledge

about bitcoin or cryptos tend to think negatively about it resulting to a one sided discussion. the teachers here in my country mainly follows what the books or curriculum that the

department of education gives so i doubt they'll mention bitcoin as it is not there.
Here in my school they didn't know about the bitcoin even the teachers have no idea I think bitcoin is not that popular yet here in our country because base in the statistics the bitcoin user here are only ranging from 500 thousands but our total population is 100 million so I think maybe few years more for the bitcoin became well known here.
6445  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: July 09, 2017, 01:31:09 AM
Bitcoin is hard to understand for the first time and bitcoin is not user friendly it is too complicated for kids so for me that is not advisable since the bitcoin is just like that and kids can lose their money by just one wrong step with bitcoin. So for me bitcoin is not for kids.
6446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Good Reason to Own Some BTC on: July 09, 2017, 12:33:17 AM
I think the main thing that makes me own bitcoin is the future expectation to get rich, we all know that when bitcoin prices reach more than $ 1000 then many new rich people, they tell a lot in various media, now the price has reached $ 2500 and it's time to see 5 more years The price will reach $ 15,000.

I do expect a lot in the future to bitcoin. Because I started to use bitcoin when the price is lower than $500 and now it has increased 400% and even 500% last time. I think the good reason to own some bitcoin is you are financially secured. When you ran out of fiat, you can just simply get out and convert to cash your bitcoin.

Yes. The price really exponentially grow in the last couple of years. So its really nice to own at least 1 full BTC in your wallet. Its has really a lot of advantage like you mentioned and I think more people are going also using it that way. Maybe down the line bitcoin price can double and even triple so you get a good ROI. And the more people are demanding bitcoin, the more the price could really soar high in the future. So I will continue to get and accumulate more bitcoins.
That is because the bitcoin have a limited supply and as the people getting to know the bitcoin and the volume of the bitcoin will be reduce due to many demand that they want to buy bitcoin and that is the reason why every single year the bitcoin price is always going up because every year the number of people that know the bitcoin is increasing.
6447  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: July 08, 2017, 07:38:21 AM
The simple reason is to hope for a profit in the future, many people speculate about the future of bitcoin and many are optimistic bitcoin will replace real money such as dollar, euro, yen and many more.
The bitcoin cannot replace the fiat because that is the medium of the currency in the real world but I think by the end of the 21st century that is possible however, they should choose bitcoin because the bitcoin now is popular and have the high price and as time pass by the bitcoin price is increasing.
6448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: July 08, 2017, 06:13:06 AM
its sadly for us which still keeping altcoin, as far as we know, altcoin have down too far following bitcoin price. i am loss to but i am not cut loss my altcoin and i still keeping it. i am sure that this is just temporary situation because of many news about segwit of bitcoin and many trader is panic. i think they are confuse to still hold btc and altcoin or to sell their btc and altcoin. but all decision is up to you and only us that will know what is the best for us.
No matter how many lose you will have you just need a 1 win to success in trading that is experience because in trading the more you lose the more you will like to quit but if you will quit you will lose again so just keep investing in altcoin and that is the way to win here in crypto world and trading.
6449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: July 08, 2017, 06:04:00 AM
Most of the time there difference of price exists so do you withdraw bitcoins from one exchange and sell at higher rate exchange?
that is not possible because the transactions takes forever hahaha. But somehow I am trading in multiple exchange because some coins are only exclusive in some exchange but I basically go for the bittrex as my main exchange site and the others are for certain coin only.
6450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not dead yet but should be. on: July 08, 2017, 05:35:26 AM
I simply wasted some of my time by reading some craps its really not worth . How these kind of people able to write article without any knowledge . He is stating " trading above $1,200 according to several exchanges." Now the value is more than double find this guy and show the current price .
hahahaha that is savage mate. and yeah the article have no facts and any basis it is more like a opinion only and contextualize in a article. The writer of that article have a small knowledge only in bitcoin moreover, the pirce of the bitcoin exceeds the price stated in the article so no need to worry about that fake news.
6451  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 08, 2017, 12:13:35 AM
Forbes aticles sometimes are so positive, i really don't think a problem like that can be solved with bitcoin, we are so far from ending with world poverty.
Turning the world's population into a better person or a rich is certainly impossible to do even the efforts of the government of every country even to this day has not yet produced results let alone just bitcoin bitcoin can change a person's life for the better if they are willing to work hard and earn income
Bitcoin will not end the poverty but the individual who are hardworking and have perseverance to earn money will end that in his life because for me we need a poor, middle and high class in the society for the society function will be balance and with that poverty is not a problem but a normal state for everyday life.
6452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 08, 2017, 12:09:19 AM
Guys from 2 or 3 days to now it seems things are heating up...I was lurking on the populous slack channel and they're all talking about pillar and how to join the presale and token sale. Also a couple of new youtube videos recommending pillar and people asking questions in the comments sections...This is gaining steam!  Grin

That's great news if that is the case then. People and I'm sure some investors are looking or keeping an eye on this ICO. Hopefully it'll be sold out immediately though. We will try our very best to support the campaign and to spread the word through out this forum.
I think it's more likely became 1day ICO because the project is good and the developers I think they are good too because with the years of preparation I am sure that this will be successful ICO and me too I will invest with this. Let's just wait for the ICO
6453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 07, 2017, 11:50:41 PM
We are already in July and August 1 is coming...the day when Segwit would start signalling for all and what will happen after this date is something many fear of. Will there be a split and what will happen on the split?

I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.
I am afraid I will accept it but I will not sell my funds because I have my full trust in bitcoin but the thinking of you will lose some or big will not be remove from your mind so in my self I will not sell my coins and let's see what will happen after the segwit If that is successful then I will gain more profit if fail then I will lose some, But as you see the litecoin succeed with that so why bitcoin is not? so let's gamble with it.
6454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: July 07, 2017, 11:45:48 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
There;s so many coin that is not scam and you can use in many purpose. First before saying coins are scam check they're supply and check the developer because nowadays many coins are produce with specific use but the bitcoin is popular because the bitcoin is the medium of all cryptocurrency. And maybe in the future Etherum will surpass the bitcoin
6455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 06, 2017, 02:42:35 PM
The Pillarproject is a very good project for me because the dev and the team responsible for the project besides they are confidence with the 60hr ICO so I will invest to this coin because I think this will be successful. Only few days left before the ICO will start.
6456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: July 06, 2017, 02:13:32 PM
Guessing or predicting the price wont let you earn, even waiting at the right time, it is always better and much advice when i first entered cryptocurrency espescially trading they have told me to buy now and hold and don't wait because we don't or we might not know what will happen next.

Exactly! When I first entered the cryptocurrency world and got into trading the people who guide me told me that there is no perfect timing in buying bitcoin and altcoins if your plan is hold it for long term, because if you plan to hold it for 3 or 5 years then for sure the price will be high by that time.
Well said. Bitcoin and other altcoins are not just for an buy and sell or scalping because when you want to earn a big profit long term is the real deal because in trading the time is the key to earn as you will look at the graph every coin from the start the price is low but now that is multiply many times, So buy and hold is the good way of trading.
6457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: July 06, 2017, 01:26:07 PM
Just wondering, would would be the safest way to sell your bitcoins? Is there any platform considered universally "safe" to convert BTC in USD through Paypal, or direct deposit or something? Thank you!
So far,the safest way i have found to sell bitcoins is the localbitcoins.com.We could either sell through bank transfer or directly in person.both options are available. But nowadays, they have started to charge fee for even incoming transactions. That seems not fair.
Here in my country we have a local bitcoin provider and that is very convenient for us Filipino because with the help of that we can sell our bitcoin and even transfer or withdraw to an ATM machine for free, no transaction fee that is reliable site too however, holding of big funds there will be not safe for me because the have some issues about locking of account.
6458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 06, 2017, 01:13:31 PM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
I think now is good time to buy however, just put to your mind that hold it for long term because the bitcoin is just for long term investment if you want to have a big profit because the bitcoin is supply and demand basis so I think maybe hold it for a year or decade and the price of it will multiply.
