6441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 21, 2018, 02:39:25 AM

~snipped~

One problem the management of Pelicans must deal with.  After the Rondo trade, it seems like they are not moving anymore. They need more deals.

Is Anthony Davis already eating up their salary cap? If that is so, then maybe they are all just waiting for AD's contract to be finished and reset their roster. While on the other hand, AD wants that ring which is impossible with a single man will only. He needs his team mates.

I would say no.. AD doesn't eating up much the whole team salary cap. His current contract is $127M 5-years contract on which is a usual value on a 5 years contract basis (started 2014).  New Orleans wants AD to stay with them that's why as far as the latest speculations are concerned (on which I think is close to happened) , they will offer a $250M max contract extension to him this summer. And I think that will now lead for Pelicans to inability to acquired a somehow good role players.

AD also stated that he is willing to gave up the big offer because he wants to prioritize in acquiring a ring.

Yeah he might want a ring but with that large offer he might become the next Dwight Howard who wont get anything but just fame and money.

I think he really needs to have a long thought about this.
He wants a ring then he cannot be blinded by the money.

We know LA Lakers have a large cap but they will be giving up a lot to insert AD. Will that really take them to a championship or will it just worsen the roster of the team?

I am okay with the line up of Lakers by now. They just need a deeper chemistry.

for someone who claims he doesn't "believe in bitcoin" you surely talk about it a lot and spend a lot of your time with it. it is like you saying you don't believe in god but still go to church every day and pray!

you my friend is  what they call a hypocrite

On point. Too straight. That might hurt him. Easy. Grin

And he posted it on bitcoontalk. That could sure work bashing something that made you broke.

How much did you buy at 20k USD line?
You are not alone but they dont go this far just so they could get a little attention.

Respect others for what they believe in then maybe that will help you move on. Grin
6443  Economy / Speculation / Re: anybody buying some Bitcoin lately? on: December 19, 2018, 04:22:48 PM
Why wait?
It might be the cheapest that we can get. Anytime it might burst into a smashing 20k again. I will stay with my own strategy with just buying and hoarding it.
Never to sell even at its dump moments. This is bitcoin. I believe in it.

Looks like a lot of analysts are being optimistic by now. Well, they have made some great assumption before the end of the year and they now think they are Nostradamus.  Grin

Must follow these rumor.

Since Anthony Davis had admitted previously that he want to prioritize NBA championship over big $$$ , one of the team that eyeing on him is the Los Angeles Lakers. There are speculations that Davis will reject the super max contract that New Orleans Pelicans will offered him in the next free agency.

Well even last season, especially after the playoffs exit, many analyst really seeing that Davis will leave Pelicans. And this season, the management currently doing nothing* to improved their roster.

Its pretty obvious that AD had eat too much of their cap that they can't make any trades to improved the team. And I agree that AD will leave and go to a team that has a chance to get a ring. His team mates is not responding at this point and maybe it will be too late for them before solving their issues.
It will be very exciting if AD will land in LA.
People would think that they will be the best team in the NBA, of course I would also think that way and they are gonna be better than the warriors.
In every championship Lebron has achieve, he has a back up all star and he need that with the Lakers now.

Is the LA Lakers salary cap really that broad?
I mean they have veterans in their midst and these guys wont just accept little offers. They have managers that will  make them think again if the offers are low.

They may need to release a lot of player just so they could receive AD in their roster.

I doubt AD would also accept a small offer since he is now used to large amount of money per year.
This will be a hard task for the LAL management.
6445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: December 19, 2018, 10:26:59 AM
It is always a risk to decide where it will go and that is why a lot are still holding bitcoin.
There is no telling what will happen. No one have that kind of ability to foresee the future.

Now what can you do with that kind of market?
Buy and do not regret. If you are not trading then it should not matter.
Buy and hoard as much as you can for it can rise anytime.
6446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More than 608k BTC was moved from dormant wallets! on: December 19, 2018, 01:38:27 AM
608k of bitcoins is a large amount.
I am hoping what I read is untrue. If this is seen by small hodlers then a big wave may come again producing a large panic that even .1btc holders might make a difference to this value by now.

I still dont get it. Is this really the enough value for them to suddenly withdraw their bitcoins which is the future of currencies and also a part of the new world technology.

I just also hope they dont regret it. Those movements could really cause a lot before the end of the year, for many are still hoping that history will repeat itself.

6448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption first or Bull run first?? on: December 18, 2018, 12:16:41 PM
But how can you say that adoption is taking place? Rather than being traded wildly?

Who can stop it? Most of the supporters wants listing first before they even see the fruits of the project itself. That is the sad part of the crypto world now unlike before.

It is all about the money. Not the features of the project which becomes only fruitful in years.
6449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember How Excited Your Were When BTC on: December 18, 2018, 09:01:51 AM
And those were forgotten just because they didnt rode the boat at the right time and got so much loss.

That is their fault. They should have known the risk first before jumping into conclusions which gave them a bad ending.
Actually, not really a bad ending. It is not yet over. They are just in a rush to make that money without even thinking that it is still bitcoin which is still on its young stage.
6450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exit Strategy on: December 17, 2018, 04:51:06 PM
USDT to what?   Huh

USDT wont change its price so you wont have any profits from keeping it. It is just the online currency version of USD.
Even if you hold it for years, you wont get any out of it.

Better do other altcoins to bitcoin and vice versa or ERC20 tokens to ETH and also vice versa.
6451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 17, 2018, 01:36:09 PM
It is really great to see a center playing with average speed and have some great skills.

Nikola Jokic. He have been really dominating the paint and using his body to score and to create space for his team mates.

He is like more of a Shaq with some new flavors in him.
Denver Nuggets dont have much of a problem shooting the ball because they trust the guy underneath the rim that he might get an offensive rebound.
That is a big boost for a team.

Winning against Toronto is a big deal. Now we can see a new contender for the Finals.

They stayed on the top because of that win.

6452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Rises and Falls of Bitcoin on: December 17, 2018, 02:37:27 AM
Correct. A lot of analysts are saying the same thing. History repeats itself. It did happen already. So what do you guys think will happen next?

Isnt it obvious already?
This institutional investors will be eyeing at the most cheapest commodity or currency to keep their money safe from another bubble in stocks or equities.

They will be enjoying to find bitcoin as their vault.
6453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next Golden Crypto Wave??? on: December 16, 2018, 03:08:10 PM
None.

All is a risk by now. There may be a time that it will be valued again.
This could be the lowest also that you will get.
None could tell. Remember that.

Vitalik said it might never happen again. But I still doubt that.
Crypto is at its young stage for me. Yeah that is for me only.

You better get your own facts too and risk everything yourself, not just because someone told you or you have watched something on Youtube.

Remember this aint a bank that will keep you safe and insured. It is crypto. Profits may be high or zero.
6454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would like to start trading. Looking for tips!!!! on: December 16, 2018, 11:11:08 AM
When it comes to trading reading gets me bored for a lot of times.
I would rather go to youtube to see some clips on how it happens. I mean, it is easier if it is an actual view right? Just words wont help much.

This kind of threads will give you just experiences on how they won and lose the trade and somehow you could avoid it or if it is good then embrace it.

I am sure it is more of the losing side now and we are waiting for an upper fluctuation to balance it.
6455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Ethereum Drop 3% on: December 16, 2018, 05:10:26 AM
As far as the tokens are concerned, the owners of it should have an independent market and not just relying with bitcoin or ethereum price.

Well, I did see ERC20 tokens which aint moving much and not being dragged by the fall. I guess it is also a good thing.

Here we are to another drop. No one can tell what the bottom really is. We will just have to go with the flow of the unstable market. Which is good for traders though.
6456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 15, 2018, 03:30:37 PM
I am with you 3 years ago.
Never really believed in Christmas. Just going with the flow before that.
Suddenly I realized why am I doing it. Then BAM! That should not happen. They say it is for sharing. I say it is for fooling other people to spend their money and they bit that lie.

I will give something to my family but never for anybody. I do it anytime I want. Not just Christmas.

People are over spending again. What do companies do? They take the price to a soaring number and others do not realize that for they have the money now. Later they will.
6457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Trading is Profitable? on: December 15, 2018, 02:35:07 PM
Zero risk? Is that a joke?

Then let us all just do forex trading if that is the answer.
Crypto trading wont be here if that is all true.

I have just one question though.
Why post it in bitcointalk forum?
I mean why are you here if you really believe that forex trading is the answer for you to be ricch?
6458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 15, 2018, 12:05:56 PM
Almost a win against the Houston Rockets but suddenly Harden became a Hollywood actor again and the referees bit the trap that he planted.
A lot of wrong calls had been made and suddenly the Lakers are at panic on the last minutes of the 4th quarter. It is all Harden afterwards and he got another triple double.

Harden got lot of victims on that soft acting even right from the 1st quarter. Clearly most calls are wrong. I seldom noticed refs doing a shitty call but on this game they are.. well never mind.

On the other hand, Harden did some spectacular job on this night's game. A monster performance of 50 big points alongside with double-double stats forming his 4th 50+ pts. triple double on his career. This kind of record is difficult to achieved and only 6 NBA players did that including him.

Well you get brakes like that when you're a superstar so i don't blame it on harden. And yeah, it was his night and sadly the lakers were on the losing end of him making history. Still a long way to go though and they're still in a very good position to make it to the next round.

Yes but there are chances also that they might face the Houston Rockets at the playoffs.
They really need to find a way to defeat this guys or else they might get swept in an instant.
I know it sounds so early but it is good to just prepare everything. They need to get stronger specially with their chemistry. Their plays are coming more from their second stringers which aint good. Both should have good gameplays.
6459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019 on: December 15, 2018, 11:16:30 AM
I have ICO's which I supported this year but I think that is enough.
It will bloom next year for that is what is in their roadmap.
I dont think one should be joining a lot for it will take a lot of risk.
2 or 3 will be better and then patience will be the key.
Just be sure though with picking which have the best feature that will click in the future.
6460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money off cryptocurrency? on: December 15, 2018, 02:34:06 AM
Never keep them for too long in exchange, specially centralized ones.
Get in and get out.
How to do that?

First, do register with them. Give your information, that is okay as long as it is not restricted in your country. That is also to max out your withdrawal.

Next, monitor the token you will be trading with. If you are satisfied with the price then deposit. Sell then get out as fast as you can.

Lastly, do not regret it if a sudden pump came in. Move on.
