6441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to measure the potential of the alt coin on: October 29, 2017, 04:37:50 AM
Measuring the potential of a coin only depends on the way how you analyze it. While some people have good analyzing techniques the other don't look at the way they do. You must analyze it properly in order to find out its potential. Find out whether there is something new in the project.
Find out whether there is an actual need for the particular project in the society. If there is no need then the project will obviously have no value at the end. They might raise a good amount of money through marketing strategy but it will eventually drop in value. Also find out their goals through the roadmap, you can find out through that itself whether the project will be successful one or not.
6442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when the market is full of red on: October 29, 2017, 04:16:53 AM
The market will obviously be red at some point of time and a trader must be knowing this and must be prepared for the worst cases.
Even if the price goes down 50% you must control your emotions so that you can carry out your trade on your benefit.
For example if the price is going down then you can sell as early as possible and then buy back later at a very low price.
If the price has gone way down before you sell then you must hold as it will surely recover in some days/months . Just try to look at it with a different perspective and you will surely find a way to profit out of the situation.
6443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with Bitcoin Gold (snapshot query). on: October 28, 2017, 02:29:31 PM
It is unclear how it is possible to get the Bitcoin Gold, whether through signing a specified code like Bitcore.cc in order to receive Bitcoin Gold to the address or simply by importing its private key to the wallet.
Thereby, once the code is released, the exchanges and wallet provider can say more concerning to this.
It actually depends on where you were holding your Bitcoins during the time of snapshot being taken. If you had hold it on any exchange then the exchange would automatically credit you the BTG if it supports the fork. If you were holding it in a wallet with the back of your private key then you have to wait until a wallet which supports BTG is created and then you will have to import your key to that wallet to receive the BTG.
If you were holding it in an online wallet then you should verify whether the provider will be supporting the fork and giving out the BTG or not.
There are also other threads that you can verify for further clarification.
6444  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Fallacy of Proof of Stake? on: October 28, 2017, 02:14:52 PM
Although both are just a wastage of energy as you say, they do give a considerable profit. PoS coins which have a good % for staking the coins are quite profitable and it is worth to invest in them to get a good return for the investment. I recently invested in a coin called xgox which gives 1000% anually for staking and it also gives a whopping 5000% for some particular set of blocks. So although the energy is wasted, what matters is the money we are making out of it.
I do agree with you on rest of the PoS coins which do not give a high % of return as this one.
6445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Council investing in Qlink on: October 28, 2017, 06:21:43 AM
NEO getting listed on Kucoin is surely a good news for NEO holders. The coin is not yet available for trading but could be available any time now.
Am pretty much sure as soon as the coin will be available we could see a spike in price. I read the news just now and bought some NEO.
The article I read stated that Kucoin will be listing Neo on its exchange and will be available to trade with RPX and GAS.

6446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OMG Releasing Road Map Tomorrow on: October 28, 2017, 06:02:37 AM
OMG does seem to be a strong potential coin but it is lacking support from the Developers as well as the investors.
The price before the BCH fork was actually a good one where we could have made good profits. But after the fork the price has been going down.
OMG has given me some good profits but until it gets a strong support from the community it is going nowhere.
It might be good for day trading but holding it will not give any good profit until the price reaches a good high.
6447  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex on: October 27, 2017, 04:49:04 PM
It looks like the site is under maintenance. You should try to reach it after some time. I would be better if you don't use Poloniex as it has been facing quite a lot of issues these days from withdrawal problems to lack of support for resolving the issues.
You can use exchanges like Bittrex, Hitbtc etc.. which are much better when compared to Poloniex. Do verify your account on Bittrex before depositing any coins on it.
6448  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: October 27, 2017, 04:45:51 PM
No coin till date whether it be an Altcoin or a forked coin has the capability to compete Bitcoin in price since BTC has raised to a value which no other coin can potentially rise to for another 5-10 years. BTG has no chance of hitting $6000 since there is no support for it by the community.
And by the time BTG reaches $6k which I don't think will happen at all, BTC would have reached $50k. So the answer is a clear NO.
6449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin for beginners to start trading? on: October 27, 2017, 06:49:35 AM
The best coin for trading is Bitcoin itself as it is keeping on increasing in price daily. It is getting more fame nowadays which is why many huge investors are investing into BTC. The usage of Blockchain in the industry is driving many large companies to invest into crypto currency and increasing the overall market cap. You should try to save money and invest in BTC and try to earn BTC as well. Other than BTC, i would suggest you to buy ETH, NEO and OMG as I think these coins will give a huge return in future. Just buy them and hold around 3-5 years and you should get a very good profit from these.
6450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million bitcoins - 11+ billion people on: October 27, 2017, 03:55:23 AM

wait a minute, that value will be reached when bitcoin is the only one project.
but see out there, so many project with some good program and system in it.
and many Coin not only use bitcoin for their pair, they use Fiat too.
clearly, no one know the future in bitcoin. Just enjoy the profit haha  Grin
That's the point people are ignoring here. Bitcoin can reach at a very good level in the upcoming years but there are also some pretty good coins like Ethereum, Neo, LTC etc... which might rise well in upcoming years. Also, if the price of BTC reaches so high why do you think people will still want to buy it. Obviously BTC won't be able to provide enough profit if the cost is so high. There are other technologies at a cheaper rate and people will surely migrate to it when they think it's too costly to buy BTC now.
I am a BTC supporter too but there is a fact that BTC will be costly in future  and people will want to explore other opportunities than to invest in a coin that's already out of the league.
6451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X:Users care which side wins? Or do they? on: October 27, 2017, 03:45:05 AM
Most users just think it as another hard fork and they would get free air drop and get some coins free. But people who have some knowledge about bitcoin expect no2x to succeed as they find no problems in the existing bitcoin. So,they think that there is no need of segwit 2x activation.

Indeed, I think the experience of Bitcoin Cash has given people unrealistic expectations for this fork. Many think it's just a free airdrop of a new altcoin. They don't seem to realize that if companies like Coinbase, Blockchain.info and Xapo follow the 2X chain and refer to it as "Bitcoin" that they will be migrating to a new network -- and bringing all their customers with them.

For example, Blockchain.info is one of the most widely used wallets in the ecosystem. Someone using this wallet to accept transactions will accept B2X as valid payment, even though they may have thought they were receiving BTC. When they go to pay someone in BTC, all they will have is B2X. This could lead to major confusion, network disruption, and financial losses for users. I wish Segwit2x were just an airdrop, but really, it's much more dangerous.
That surely is a confusion among people who don't know much about Bitcoin and the fork. According to me the name "Bitcoin" should not be given to anybody as it reminds of everyone that it's the king of cryptocurrencies. Whichever fork happens for whatever reason should use any other name other than Bitcoin. It will surely lead to a confusion among people as to which side they are in and which coins they are using.

The upgrade should be done as it improves the overall capability of Bitcoin but it has to tackle some major problems like the change in name itself, letting the customers choose what they want, protection from hackers and other issues in splitting the chain. The split will enhance the networks capability and it must be done at some point of time when the network will be overloaded. So if the split provides security and enhances the network at the same time then there should not be any problems in people supporting it.
6452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin prior to "forks" or after "forks" ? on: October 27, 2017, 03:30:41 AM
It's actually better to invest in BTC before any fork happens. The price of BTC keeps increasing day by day regardless of the fork.
The price declines only if there is a negative news in the market that spreads among the people and makes an negative impact on the price of BTC.
So, it's better to invest in BTC as early as possible and if we know there is an upcoming fork then it's the best to put as much as money into BTC because that's what people are going to do which makes BTCs price to jump before the fork so that they can get a good return for their investment.
After the fork the price usually goes down as people sell their BTC for fiat and Alts.
6453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔮 Challenge: Let's predict the ETH price for the 1st of December (2017) on: October 26, 2017, 02:25:53 PM
ETH had crossed $400 once and it might be a good time to buy some ETH as the prices for most of the Alts have decreased over time.
Eth can easily cross $500 but due to the recent situations like bans and negative statements have made a huge impact on crypto currencies.
BTC forks have also implemented a decline in Alts and that's why I think ETH will not cross $400. It will probably stay around the $300 region.
6454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 12:27:03 PM
The title of the article itself says that more rumors are spreading which means there is nothing to be so happy about as it's just a rumor.
If it wasn't a rumor then we would surely have seen a spike in Bitcoin's price as Amazon is large e-commerce site and it delivers it's products all over the world. Hence there will be a large number of population interested in the new payment method and people will surely buy some coins in order to buy products from it. Anyway, we shouldn't be so happy as these rumors keep roaming.
6455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will all these forks do in the long run with Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 12:21:24 PM
These forks are giving out free money to crypto users which might sound good at the beginning but becomes worse when we look at it the other way around. Forks are killing Altcoins in my opinion. People are willing to sell their Altcoins in losses to get the free money through forks and this thing is just killing the Altcoins. We can notice the price difference from the last month which shows us that Alts have gone way down than it was.
It also splits the investors into groups where the investors who prefer the forked coin invest their amount in that coin and hence BTC losses its growth in some way. Although it doesn't effect the overall growth but split of coin is split of growth.
6456  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mining trading and earning interests on: October 26, 2017, 05:54:39 AM
You would have probably heard of Bitconnect which provieds daily interest based on your investment.
There are people who say it as a ponzi scheme but it's been paying since a year now and all of the people are getting their returns.
The site gives around 30% - 40% a month based on your investment and returns your capital amount after 299 days.
So you can do your research on the website and make the investment.
6457  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does Coinmama private the private keys? on: October 26, 2017, 05:45:01 AM
Can you please ask your question with a little more clarity ? Are you asking whether it provides any private key ?
It does not provide any private key since it is buy crypto platform. You will be given the coins in your wallet address when you make a transaction with them. But I wouldn't recommend you buying crypto with them as there are rumors that it is a scam. There is no real security too.
Buy from sources such as coinbase or localbitcoins.com
6458  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did someone make money with Steem (https://steemit.com/)? on: October 26, 2017, 05:39:00 AM
It is the best way to earn a good amount of money for bloggers. People who have the ability to read and write good articles daily can earn more than a 9-5 job on steemit. For others who don't write good articles and yet want to earn money can give it a try but the success is not guaranteed.
It all depends on the potential upvotes and the content. If we have good content in our articles they will surely reach to the audience and if we have good number of upvotes we can earn good amount regardless of the content of the posts.
6459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now? on: October 25, 2017, 05:24:53 PM
Well the price fluctuation is a thing that even the expert trader can't predict accurately. The price might go up or down.
The fork has finished and the price has seen a little of downward movement but it is not that much though. We can consider it still a higher price.
If the price is corrected more then there might be a downward more if not we can the price rising further more. There is a fork in November and so there are chances that the price might increase until then. So you have to take your chances against the price.
6460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Go!coin airdrop - More free coins on: October 25, 2017, 01:04:39 PM
Go!coin or xgox whatever we call it is starting an airdrop on 27th of this month. The users holding xgox will be getting equal amount of GoTokens or GTK.
So what do you guys think whether you will be buying xgox to get free GTK and increase your overall capital or you don't want to risk your coins putting them into some random altcoin. What are your thoughts ?
For people who don't know what xgox is : It's a gaming coin listed in cryptopia, nova and coinsmarket. It is PoS and gives 1000% p.a. for staking.
