6461  Economy / Gambling / Re: ANY INTEREST IN A 10 LINER? on: March 09, 2020, 08:36:17 AM
I have no idea why anyone would feel inclined to invest in such a high risk, high reward scheme instead of simply betting on high odds markets in sportsbooks. Betting pools are meant to reduce risk and increase the reward by distributing funds.

What op proposed seems pointless. I would invest in a site like Colossal-bets(Correct score markets etc) instead.
6462  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lets Gamble and find a BTC block (Group buy) on: March 09, 2020, 08:25:39 AM
Base on how I understand, if you don't have btc anymore to invest then you are not receiving any portion of the block reward right?
Correct. You need to invest a minimum of 0.01 BTC in order to receive a percentage of the reward if op actually ends up mining a block successfully(Chances are low based on the posts above). This is basically gambling at high odds.

Op also mentioned that you will only receive a percentage of the win based on the amount you invested(More you invest = More you win). This is a high risk, high reward scenario.
6463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 08, 2020, 10:42:36 AM
None of these strategies will work unless you yourself are determined to recover from the bottom of your heart. If you are simply lying to yourself, nothing will work and you will always be an addict.

Therapists can also help to an extent, but they would most likely repeat what I mentioned. You are responsible for yourself at the end of the day(No one else is).
6464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play dice: Strategy with BTC on: March 08, 2020, 08:26:28 AM
This is common knowledge op. Who doesn't know most of this stuff? I expected some unique strategy, but was disappointed to observe you mention the same old martingale etc strategies.

Gambling strategies help improve the fun aspect drastically, but they have 0 effect on your chances of winning or losing in any particular game in the short term and long term which is why I don't advise depending on them for money recovery etc.
6465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 08, 2020, 08:14:34 AM
Casinos have always found a way to survive no matter how good or bad the conditions around them were which is why I don't think this will dent their business in a big way.

For example, you can always play online if you are worried about traveling outside which is one way to stay safe and not be worried about these viruses. COVID-19 is definitely not the worst virus out there which is why I strongly believe that gamblers won't be affected in a big way.
6466  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lets Gamble and find a BTC block (Group buy) on: March 07, 2020, 10:37:24 AM
So, the block reward will be divided to all participants. So, the aim here is to have high hash power so that nicehash can find or solve a block faster because of the participant's mining rig computing hash power and when the miner's hash power are put together then that means the more faster?. I don't know if I am right about what I stated because I am not a miner.
Yeah. The current block reward is around 12.5 BTC which will drop to 6.25 BTC(Half) after the halving event which makes it tempting to reap the rewards asap. This 12.5 BTC will then be divided among all participants meaning you understood this correctly.

However, you should be prepared to lose your 0.01 BTC since the chances are stacked against you. Invest only if you are willing to lose your money.
6467  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 07, 2020, 07:45:50 AM
Was surprised to see this thread initially since I know your site is pretty popular since the last couple of years op.

I think you should state the reason and plea this case on Meta board, at least hear the side of your story to open it again or you may PM one of the mods assigned here on Gambling board. If it has never been enforced then there's really a chance the thread will be unlocked just take one or both of my suggestion above. Mods has rules to be followed but they'll surely understand if one of you approach for revival of it rather letting it slip or making a new thread.
I don't think they would have created a new thread without trying whatever you suggested earlier. They probably tried contacting them and the mods might have informed them that they cannot resolve this issue for them due to which they went to the trouble of creating a new thread instead.
6468  Economy / Gambling / Re: SurvivalBet: casino with surviving game.🎲 Can be played without deposit 💰 on: March 07, 2020, 07:33:18 AM
Interesting concept op. This is what I observed.

Pros:
- New refreshing concept
- Great performance

Cons:
- Bad design
- No FAQ(Min bet, Explanation etc)
- Never received confirmation email
- No live support

If you can resolve the issues, this can become a hit in the near future.
6469  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack's Plinko provably fair verifier on: March 06, 2020, 11:24:30 AM
I guess it would have better if you posted it in their ANN thread here on Bitcointalk or contacted their customer support to receive a response to your query quickly. I have observed that FJ has been mired in controversies lately which is why this does not surprise me.

They could be intentionally doing this or it might simply be am unintended mistake. Will be watching this thread closely to see how they respond.

6471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to bet on U.S. politics with crypto? on: March 05, 2020, 08:21:31 PM
There are several sites that provide politics related crypto betting options as the posters above mentioned, but I suggest using Fairlay when compared to other sportsbooks since they charge a low margin on their odds basically.

Other sportsbooks(Especially Stake) add a lot of juice on their odds while Fairlay basically mirrors Pinnacle(Covers popular politics related bets) odds which is why you would get the best bang for your buck.

6473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: gp-dice.com | Play Dice | 1% House Edge | Be The House! on: March 05, 2020, 08:14:20 AM
Site looks way too basic and bland with a boring color scheme op. You definitely should have put in more effort since it feels like you delivered a rushed product here. Also, the FAQ section is incomplete(Minimum deposit, withdrawal etc).

How on earth did you expect anyone to invest in a new product out of the blue op? Your site needs to be popular in order to draw the attention of investors over time.
6474  Economy / Gambling / Re: AceDBets.io Multi Crypto SportsBook[Fast][Interactive][QuickDeposit/Withdrawls] on: March 05, 2020, 08:03:07 AM
What you mean bad performance? site works good for i. It only just launch so give time, i see many site not have things but over time they add and become good so give aced bets time, it only been hours since launch.
Seriously? I mentioned bad performance since the sportsbook was laggy for me and I have no idea why you cannot seem to understand such a simple thing. Do you even have any idea regarding the competition in the crypto gambling world these days?

If AceDbets wants to get ahead of the competition, they should have launched their site in a better state. Improve your brain-power and understand the meaning of criticism.
6475  Economy / Services / Re: LUCKYB.IT Signature Campaign(FULL) on: March 05, 2020, 06:45:58 AM

Good to see that the issue got resolved quickly. Checked out your site and observed the following:

6477  Economy / Gambling / Re: AceDBets.io Multi Crypto SportsBook[Fast][Interactive][QuickDeposit/Withdrawls] on: March 04, 2020, 12:19:41 PM
Your site isn't loading when I tried visiting it. Bad first impressions op. Why would you launch your site in such a half-baked state?

Your ANN thread looks great though. Never heard of AceD cryptocurrency, but providing BTC as a payment method was a good move. No KYC is another good move. I advise you to lock this thread asap until you fix the issues with your site.

6478  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: March 04, 2020, 08:35:40 AM
Most gamblers know very well how to play certain games and don't really need any tutorials. How often does someone go to a physical casino, take out a $100 bill and go to a Blackjack table and just guess how to play the game? Almost never. They probably won't even want to risk betting $1 if they didn't know what they were doing. Hence this is the reason why many of the traffic to casinos usually just plays slots since its pretty much automatic as soon as you pull the lever. Either money comes out meaning you've won or nothing happens which means you lost.
You are partially right. A major portion of gamblers do know what they are doing thanks to their experience, but the posters above are discussing sports betting which could get complicated for newbies looking to bet for the first time in their life.

Terms like Handicap, Accumulator etc would confuse them which is why guides are essential(DarkoReborn already shared the links though).
6479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 04, 2020, 08:25:24 AM
Giving opportunities for new players is not bad when the senior players are injured and that is how they built a team for the future, unfortunately they did not perform like expected as the wicket was new for them and it is a learning experience for the youngsters, if they would have performed we will never talk about their experimentation but i am sure they put forward the best team possible and they failed miserably.
Giving opportunities at the right time and place is what matters even more. Also, this was definitely not the best team as you say.

Getting into the form after injury might be really difficult task for that IPL will really help them. But Indian players playing too much games is the reason for players injury? or its just normal?
I don't think its related to playing too many games. Its just part and parcel of the game and it happens to every sportsman now and then. It comes down to luck at the end of the day which is why it is completely normal.

IPL might rejuvenate many players like Hardik, Dhawan, Chahar, Bhuvi etc which is why it might help many returning players in a big way.
6480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 03, 2020, 06:16:35 PM
Also left and right combination plays a vital role just like how OZ have Finch and Warner. So Dhawan should always be their and only thing should remain fit as much as possible because once he gets in form it becomes difficult for bowers to bowl to him .
Exactly my thoughts. India is desperately missing the lethal left hand, right hand combination of Dhawan and Rohit who were amazing openers together in my opinion(Reminded me of Ganguly and Sehwag combo from the past).

Once these 2 get going, everyone knows what they are capable of. The selectors are experimenting way too much with newbies in my opinion.
