That's a lovely tutorial thank you for posting. I did a little bit of forex a few years back but now I am on roaming internet until I get proper internet connection so to trade now is nearly an impossibility until I get my nice internet. My husband now works for a forex company looking after Chinese clients lol but he is also anxious to get started and learn to trade as well. When we both start doing first a demo account each we will have a friendly competition then we will start trading for real at some point. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

That's quite a list, also what's very popular with rich Chinese is to buy citizenship in western countries like where I am in Cyprus. They have to purchase property or invest and then they automatically get citizenship. It's also quite common for Chinese men to practice polygamy or have mistresses in various countries where they have bought property and the main wife is in China lol. I know this for a fact because I lived in Canada in what they call Ernai village and I knew a few Chinese women who were the mistresses of such rich Chinese men and it is common practice. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I think it's a fairly safe bet to have some of your investment portfolio in bitcoin although I wouldn't have ALL of it in there. Even up to 50% is quite good and then you can do other investments as well to diversify. Every investment carries a risk so spreading that risk is the best thing to do to maximize potential returns or rewards.

I buy once a month to pay my people but other than that I try to earn it for myself form various online tasks and investment activities, that way I can slowly start saving it again and it's like 'free bonus money' for me. Although I put my time and initial investment capital into the various projects.

One way this could be possible is if governments are secretly beginning to hoard bitcoin into their reserves, then they can start openly declaring bitcoin being their no2 or no1 investment of choice. If governments are clever they will want to do this. Like Esperanto was to be the universal language but it didn't quite happen, Bitcoin could really become the universal currency of choice. It's just a random thought of mine but it's worth but worth thinking about.

There are a lot more people in China Internet Savvy and using computers but in India you have more of the younger generation using computers so that also can be a prime reason for why it hasn't taken off so well in India as opposed to China. There are many other social and cultural and political reasons too which make Bitcoin something as a strange concept and too complicated. Most Indians want to own tangible wealth like gold etc so wrapping their head around bitcoin may seem too far fetched for many. Tecy types and people working online though in India love Bitcoin.

I love bitcoin and the fact that we can find ways to earn it for free makes it very enticing as well. I think if we are all dedicated enough we can earn, trade, buy and grow our bitcoin stashes over time. I think more and more people coming into bitcoin is healthy for the price and value of it.

I think the only way to do that is if you are a good trader and trading altcoins V Bitcoin or bitcoin V fiat. Otherwise the only other way is to come up with a really good business that could take off and earn you tons of bitcoins if it's a good idea.

I missed out on Ether but want to start trading to accumulate bitcoins but never know quite what to trade. I haven't been so good at it but I know it's a great way to make bitcoin fast if you are good at it. I know some friends they make like a few bitcoin a week trading. I wish i could do that.

Just think of what is the dollar equivalent. I believe the bitcoin wealth distribution follows the same mathematical distribution to a large extent. A possible way to think is that "$25 million NW" is "elite" (replace the figure with anything that suits you). There maybe about 1 million such people among the 5,000 million adults in the world. So if we take this example, the relative position to be in the "elite" is 0.02%. (In reality, even these, most are just normal guys. It is a controller tactic to paint these guys "rich" and "enemies of the working class", as has always been.) My sources indicate that BTC has more owners now than 2 years ago, perhaps 5 million. So the 0.02% is 1,000 largest owners who are the "Bitcoin elite". If my calcs are not completely off, you only need about BTC500 to be among the 1,000 largest owners. This was the rough estimate, it's possible to spend more time on it to get a better one. I`d say the top 2%, the top 0.02% is the super elite. The rich class starts from 2%, and you only need like 5-10 BTC for that. Why? You can say its no big deal a few thousand $$. But imagine in the future millions of newbies will join who have no option of earning but from faucets, or from buying at an ever increasing price. Add also in the bitcoin black-holes, and forgotten priv keys, the price has to go up , most of the elite addresses are owned by nobody. So even if you hold 10 BTC, if you hold that for the next 10 years, you will be the bitcoin establishment , and those coins could be worth a lot then. I remember the time I had 20 bitcoin made through translations, blogging and buying in some nice icos. Now I only have some in a few altcoins worth currently around 3 btc but now trying to get back to making one btc a month if at all possible to at least get to 10 btc a year. I am hoping b the time I am 60 I can retire with some btc at hand as I don't have a pension so if I stay alive over the next ten years I might manage it. I wonder where I can find the latest bitcoin richlist would love to know what it looks like currently.

It's great to see confidence growing again in bitcoin and I do hope it stays over and above 400 usd dollars although the lest few days the price has fallen a little bit. Anything over 400 usd makes it well worth the effort to earn and to hold it for the long term.

Well if I am at alive by then, I will be seventy years old I hope it will be a good pension plan for me but really to be honest by then I want to leave it as a legacy for son and for other people I love and cherish. I think bitcoin has a future at least and I hope to educate my son enough by then that he appreciates it's value.

They only know about bitcoin through me but they don't have much interest to acquire it themselves. I think if I ever made a lot of money through bitcoin they would start to gain some interest but at the moment they are waiting to see some miracle results from me first. My Dad at the moment thinks it's too high risk as an investment due to it's volatility. My Son though admires what I do especially because I run my own altcoin but He is also waiting to see what comes out of it all.

I invested some in a site called triple threat at the moment so I am going to try to make a withdrawal today. If I get the money that I withdraw I will be at break even point so next withdrawal will be all profit for me. I hope I can make around 150 bucks a week from this site as I want to try to save one bitcoin a month but let's see if it will work for a few weeks or months at least.
|
|
|
I remember getting my first little bit of btc from faucets when btc was only worth one bucks. I remember in two weeks I made like 0.17 worth. If I had known then I would have clicked like mad and saved it and it would have been worth a lot of money now sigh.

Worst mistakes I ever made was not buying bitcoin when it was one buck because I wasn't nerdy enough to get into the concept and also not selling an altcoin when it would have made me 42 bitcoins and I sold it on the way down for 12 bitcoins and bitcoin then was at 1k usd. I still made 11 bitcoins profit and with that money I managed to buy us the two plane tickets to emigrate to Europe but still losing 30 bitcoins was stupid lol. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

The only problem I have with bitcoin at the moment is that I don't own near as enough as what I should have. I knew about bitcoin when it was only 1 usd and I didn't really understand what it was about then and I am gutted for not buying several hundred of them at that time.

I think wiht billions of dollars invested in bitcoin I would say it's safe enough. Paper money is more unsafe to be honest because if any country goes to war then the paper money in that country would be rendered almost worthless. Bitcoin is a buffer or a hedge against fiat money and other troublesome incidences that might occur.

I think we will have some interesting developments plus the block halving but if this is going to be the year for bitcoin I can't tell. For me bitcoin would have to rise to 5k or more to say it will be the year for bitcoin as we already saw it reached 1k a while back so something really fantastic would have to happen in order for me to see 5k per bitcoin, then I would say 2016 would be a good year for bitcoin.
