6482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 29, 2019, 02:30:22 PM
I first read Bitcoin way back 2012 on another investment forum, the now-defunct moneymakergroup, I thought it's an investment company and there is an admin just like all the HYIP and MLM that I've invested in, honestly it's hard to grasp how it works because not many information is available online, and some of them are too technical, not for someone like me who's used to having a support and an administrator to manage everything, long story short when I become a member of this forum that I learned how Bitcoin works.
6483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming Soon: China's Own Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 11:35:02 AM
I know that some will be arguing that what China is cooking right now is not actually a real cryptocurrency due to its centralized and state-controlled nature. But what the heck, China is the next world superpower and it is seeing the vision of using cryptocurrency to further its entrenched economic position all the world.

I am seeing a great potential of this coming state cryptocurrency to be utilized in transacting business with China or in eCommerce department, and this is a huge potential. Jack Ma must already be thinking something how to exploit this great opportunity.

Are you seeing what I describe here? China is conquering the globe without using any sword...

China is good at modifying and imitating technology and blockchain is going to be part of that, if they confirm that they are going to launch one and release the full information about their coin, then Mark is right on his speech that China is going to use this technology to advance their supremacy and so Mark can rally his Libra Coin to compel congress to approve the launching of his Libra coin, we have so many development to watch out, and just in time for the halving.
6484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: October 29, 2019, 09:54:36 AM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them

We all started as a newbie when we all starting out investing it's just those who were scammed find out too late that not all what they see and what they read on the internet are all true, I have become a victim several times when I was just starting out, especially in Ponzi scheme, the biggest attraction is always the payment proof, not knowing that those showing payments are conniving or part of the investment program,
we all have a valuable lesson to learn and getting scammed is one of them.
6485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 3 on: October 29, 2019, 02:03:16 AM
Hello, and Wazzup my fellow gamblers!
Last time we talk about the "What If,... you're currently playing and suddenly you run out of funds and on the next draw you missed the game which you are about to win the Jackpot."

So now, here's the other one for this week!

What if,... you suddenly get a jackpot but it wasn't meant to be given to you, and it was mistakenly transferred to your account (CryptoWallet) ? What would you do? 🤔🤨
Are you gonna run with it and leave the account? Or be a good samaritan? Come on. Don't be so foolish let's be honest!🤣

For me:
1. I might take it for we are anonymously players.
2. I might take a little portion and give it th eother back to the winner.

Ads:

I will have no issue with this I will wait for a follow-up email that they made a mistake in transferring funds to my account to my Cryptocwallet, this is just a confirmation that they send to the wrong wallet, after receiving the confirmation I will just return it back.
No need to hodl the funds because they can trace that wallet on who owns it and reputation is important than the money I have experienced returning money in the past, and the feeling is great than holding it and feeling guilty all the time
6486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange Listing on: October 28, 2019, 05:52:06 PM
Exchanges are asking for ridiculous amounts for new altcoins listing.

https://bitcoinist.com/binance-listing-2-6-million-fee/

All other top exchanges are asking not less that 500k for listing. Scam exchanges like P2PB2B, coinsbit, youbit and others are asking for 100K. I understand that they are trying to avoid scam projects, but not all projects are scam.

That is insane, because there is no way for a new altcoins developers to afford such amounts for listing.

Can someone recommend me a good exchange with acceptable listing fees? Thanks in advance.

This is one of the reasons why we will never see a stop on ICO or IEO because the cost to list a coin is very high and a project however good it is will never see the light if it can not be traded in Big exchange like Binance, that is why they opted for a new exchange or Dex if it is an ERC20 token, but that will not help their cause, we have so many new exchanges that offers free listing for a limited time, and we should give them a chance if they can give us good security and transparency.

6488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin cross $50,000 by Dec 2020? on: October 28, 2019, 03:06:38 PM
With so many good altcoins around, do you think Bitcoin can cross $50k by Dec 2020?

Although I want this to happen, I want to be realistic, there are expectation and reality on everything I want to focus on reality and will just expect something when there is a realization that it could happen, but unfortunately, there is none, the $8000 level has been on us for two to three months and I don't see the trend changing, we are likely to experience that this 2020.
But I hope I'm wrong I will be happy if there is a big jump on the price because in the back of my mind I also want another all-time high.
6489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: October 28, 2019, 02:14:10 PM
1. You must have another source of income
Either in crypto space or outside crypto space you must have other source of income, there was a time when i used to rely on coins i hold for monthly income but most time they failed me because some altcoins takes more than a month to add value. You can learn trading or find a better job to get constant income for your daily needs.

For me, this is the most important I also used to rely on my online income for my family's need I always ended up selling coins that I'm trying to hodl, this is a source of regrets, there are several instances that I sold some of the promising coins I've had  because of our daily needs and after a week it pump 300% and keeps going up, it happens so many times, I have no choice but to augment my income so I can continue hodling coins that have potential in my portfolio, If I didn't get a job I would have sold everything.
6490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will this fluctuation end ? on: October 28, 2019, 12:51:48 PM
Bitcoin's price has been slightly fluctuating everyday but it's not a huge fluctuation to buy in or sell of in order to make huge profit as everyone is eagerly waiting to know where this will us to, this is what my question is over here. Are we heading towards a new price pump or a dump ? This slow drift of bitcoin's value is really confusion.

We are too impatient for the price to be traded on a price that we want to the point we notice every small movement in the price, it's hard to admit but we are still having a thought that Bitcoin is a bubble that's just waiting to explode or we are impatient to see our profit.
I guess this going to be our character even if the price hit another all-time and traded at $20k or $30, we will still continue doing this stuff,
cheering when the price goes up and get worried every time there is a slip.
6491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: October 28, 2019, 10:14:10 AM
I was wondering if ERC20 tokens are still useful today and if people still create projects around them? I know the ICO 'feast' is kind of over and that was the main purpose people were launching these tokens for.

Greetings to the community,

Liviu

It's still useful I can see people in the freelance market place offering to create ERC20 tokens, I still can see airdrops in ERC20 tokens and there are still ICO's in ERC20 tokens, Ethereum smart contract will not just die easily, first they are the second most popular coin in the market and they are going to be POS, and to the developers and user's point of view, they are fast and transaction is cheap, something any start-up project would like to have in their token, although there are other token creations, but investors are already familiar with  ERC20 tokens function .
6492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create and Trade own crypto on: October 27, 2019, 05:30:46 PM

Hello Everyone,
I wanna create my own business and one of my colleague told me I can create my own crypto and make it tradable (it can help for fundraising).
Do you know if it's possible ? How Can I do it ? Anyone has a useful tutoriel for this ?
Thank you !

Yes you can in fact Waves offer the easiest way to create a token you only need 4 waves to create a token, but if you want a smart contract you will have to learn how to code, it can take you several months to do it if you do not have a coding experienced, Youtube offers the most extensive tutorials on how to create token using Ethereum.
Or you can cut it short, just go to service section and hire coin developer to create you one, it will only cost you $20 to $50
and if you want to further advance the cause of your coin, you will have to spend thousands of dollars to make it tradeable
in short, it's costly and time-consuming.
6493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE? on: October 27, 2019, 04:49:53 PM
I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.

First, throw away what you've known about ICO and altcoin, it's a whole different ball game now, altcoins game is now over I have seen good projects in the past that I thought will have a good chance but all were abandoned, this is what you are going to find now, projects that are abandoned or failed to generate support from investors.
On the positive note, Bitcoin dominance is huge that means our beloved Bitcoin is still the coin to invest, get all the latest news in cointelegraph it will keep you updated.
6494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotab Browser on: October 27, 2019, 03:53:49 PM
Is it really useful to use this app as your main browser or what can you guys suggest?

I suggest that you protect yourself and do not get involved in browser-based mining which steals your computer power do check your computer resource and you'll see that it always hit 100% and make your computer lag I have a friend using that and it's not worth,
much preferable to post in Cryptotalk, your one post can earn you 1000 sats, while you will have to wait for several days to earn that if you run Cryptotab Browser.
When it comes to using a browser always settle with a secured one like Brave and Mozilla and always use a good cleaner to clean your cookies.

6495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin casino bankroll on: October 27, 2019, 02:42:17 PM
Hi there,

I have heard that there are a few known and trusted bitcoin casinos which offers dividends (like 5-10% per year) if you invest your BTC in their bankroll. E.g. I can invest say 1 BTC and receive 1 BTC + 0.2 BTC of dividends in the end of year because they will use it in their casino bankroll.

Are those casinos really exists and if so then could you give me some links?

I want to deposit my BTC balance and get stable profit every month. Do not offer me scam, but verified and profitable big casinos who have such option.

Thanks.

With the so many suggestions and comments coming from members, I'm sure by now you have a list of gambling sites that offer investing in Casino bankroll, gambling is a profitable venture, some gambling sites are already stable and they have a good income stream, but one Bitcoin is huge and one year is such a long wait, well, I guess it depends on how you manage your investment and how much risk you can take, but do update us if you decide to go for it, or better record it, your experience will be a good reference.
6496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON (TRX) Types of wallet on: October 26, 2019, 05:34:56 PM
I could have merited you for such a lengthy post but checking its originality I found out that you just copy-paste this thread to this website
https://themoneymongers.com/best-tron-wallets/.

You are harming your account and you will likely get a ban for doing this, I advise that you first go to the beginners help and the meta section before you create a thread, this applies to all who just comes in and think that they can get away plagiarizing.

And if that is your blog you should also state it at the beginning of your post, but the chance is, it's not because you did not post the source.
6497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MDAB did over 12,000% Even with seemingly inactive Team. on: October 26, 2019, 04:44:27 PM
I've checked both on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko but they are not showing, they have no data to show, you are lucky to made a profit out of it, I wouldn't recommend people to participate in a pump and dump coins, if you made a profit, many people lose on that occasion.
It's a pump and dump scheme, I've been a victim on that several times when I was a newbie, they are selling the news and you are buying it and it's too late to find out, you now have their bags.
6498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 26, 2019, 03:05:08 PM
What kind of a bounty hunter are you? the one who is always eager to promote new projects? or the one who select the projects that appeared to be worthy? or for example you like projects with million dollars allocation like...

Well here is the fact, any bounty that gives out huge bounty rewards are unrealistic, we all know that we are in a bad crypto season but still they think this is the best way to lure you, this doesn't mean the project is scam but forget the dollar price tag and don't bother to calculate based on $$$$ because you can get 10$ instead of your 500$ worth of token, i prefer already listed and trading projects, what about you? do you agree or disagree?

The allocation is not realistic anymore, I have seen the glory days of bounty hunting, on those days when they say that the price of their token is pegged at this price when it hit the market, it will be 20 to 50% higher, but not anymore instead of going up when it hit the market it drops to 50 to as low as 80%, the one thing that these risk taker investors are considering is the huge bonus, that will compensate their investment even if the price goes down.

If there are coins that are already in the market and they do bounty hunting consider it they offer a more realistic price for your effort.
6499  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT!! Adab Solutions - So Called Islamic Crypto Exchange is Haraam on: October 26, 2019, 01:51:07 PM
I'm still in their telegram channel maybe they will ban me in the future, still checking the development on https://ficemarket.com/ Adab is worth $0.11 but on exchanges where it is traded it's below 1 cent, they pegged the price at $0.11 in their own exchange,  I've tried to login in their exchange, I have signed up some three months ago, but it's not sending me a link to change password and if you sign up, there is no verification coming.

Their developer and support are lagging in addressing problems with their exchange, there's a lot of risk depositing here, if you are a trader, be careful depositing here, it's not yet well coded.

6500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 26, 2019, 01:26:44 PM
For Joshua

He doesn't want the fight like a continuation of what happens in their last fight, the best that he wants now is to adjust and employ a different kind of tactics, he never used to fight a guy who moves fast and throws a lot of combination, he should expect Ruiz to throw everything but the kitchen sink, and his trainers are training him to expect that and make adjustment.

For Ruiz
Ruiz should be aware that Joshua is fighting sparring partners who are built are like him, he should prepare for a counter punch as he throws and moving forward.

Joshua has a reach and height advantage and he will make the most of it, something that he never did in their first fight.
