My pick of the day - Latvia - Poland over 3.5 goals @2.35.
Latvia playing awful football and they concede lot of goals - more than 3 in every game on average. Also, lineups already announced, Poland will play with their best squad, so I hope to see Lewandowski scoring some goals Cheesy
Also, I expect to see another Russia win over Scotland.

I like your pick and it's obvious that Latvia are terrible side, still I'm not really convinced about Poland recent performance and I think they struggle a bit to score as many as 4 goals. I had Poland to win at half time in one of my parlays together with Netherlands to also win at half time.

The odds of 2.35 seems like a worthy risk to take, so I'll be giving it a shot.

10 years ago, Manchester City was where it Nottingham Forest now, but NF has more glory in the past. Last few good seasons do not promote CIty as a top Europan clubs on all time.
Absolutely agree with DeathAngel about Footballing Royalty point.

I'd remain of different opinon, though. Perhaps, you've lost track of how old these histories have been. Man City were promoted back to EPL since 2001/02 and have not been outside the top 10 position of the premier league since the 06/07 since, which is about 13 years ago. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest haven't had a privilege of EPL football sine 1998/99, 20 years ago.

I'm not saying that their past achievements were/are worth nothing, but they are irrelevant when you bring up debate about current big teams.
Would you rather consider Man City and Leicester City to be a bigger club than Liverpool simply because they've won more League titles than Liverpool since it became the "EPL" ?
6483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 09, 2019, 02:52:33 PM
Teams who have dominated Europe during multiple periods winning multiple European titles. Teams like Man City aren’t even in the conversation.

That was then football, Man City have proven to be a big team. They could still be falling short in European title but that doesn't undermine the fact that they are currently one of the best teams in Europe over the past few years. AC Milan and Man Utd are no longer even competitive in their respective leagues, let alone getting a ticket to play in the champions league.

If your classification of big teams is based on the fact that their ancestors have at some point won or dominated Europe, then you'd have to consider Marseille, Hamburg, Nottingham Forest, and Steaua Bucharest all to be a bigger club than Man City, which in IMO is bullshit.

There are reports going around that Thomas Muller is considering putting in a transfer request when the season is over so that he could leave the Allianz arena the next coming summer. Seems that he is trying to find new competition since it's almost the same way when it comes to the Bundesliga.

Well actually he it seems like he (Thomas Müller) is unhappy with his role in the team and the Niko Kovac (coach).

Last weekend it was the 5th match in a row where he wasn´t in the starting XI and the coach said "If there is an urgency, he will get his minutes" (not exactly what a well deserved player wants to hear).

Either way he´s 30 years old now, never had have an other professional team than Bayern, so 2020 is the last chance for him to sign a last big deal + Bayern can ask for a transfer-fee (contract ends in summer 2021).

I have never been a big fan of Muller though, I think it's high time he leaves Bayern he's obviously no longer as indispensable like once was. However, I'm not sure any big club would be to splash a big transfer fee to sign him.

Don´t get me wrong, I am the first looking for Bayern to struggle all campaign long, just wanted to provide some stats, not crashing the party Wink

It's not about crashing the party, all you've highlighted are just facts! We've seen it year in year out. To contest against Bayern for the title will always require more than just performing well for 8 weeks or even mid season. You've got to bet on your toes for the whole of the season, you can't afford to lose momentum.

Mo Salah got injured in the last match vs Leicester. Seems it is nothing too serious but he will be out for at least 10-15 days. Good thing for Liverpool is that there is now an International break and he has some more time to recover. I can't remember the name of the Leicester player but it was a very dangerous tackle that infuriated everyone.

I think he's knock just before the International break is actually a blessing in disguise for Liverpool, if it's a minor one. He'd get to rest properly after several consecutive matches. And moreover Liverpool also have series of tough fixtures lined up for just after break, they can't afford to have their top performers fatigued.

At the end, Arminia won by 0:1, so the pick trending @2.37 passed, not so easily, but it's green
Too bad there were no more goals... usually we can see over goals scored in 2nd Bundesliga...

My bet on that match was over 2.5, I was gutted that I didn't chose too go with 3. Liga fixture instead which ended with 3 goals.

We will wait until the middle of the season after seeing the results of the match so we can guess who is closer to the title
We know that recently the club has bought new players, of course some of them need adaptation

It's probably not going to happen any time soon, Bayern Munich numbers have dropped in terms of top quality players and consistent performance.

Bayern will eventually win the league, I guess. However, it's not going to be by a landslide margin.

So many sr+ members applying for a member slot. If you're willing to accept $25 per week for your sr/hero sig, surely it makes better financial sense for signature campaign managers to keep you at this rate rather than bumping you to the next pay grade... After all, that's better bang per buck for Bustadice.

I suspect @yahoo62278 could save his employers a lot of money if he kept a log of the minimum rates each user would accept, particularly paying attention to those sr+ members looking to secure lower tier slots. Maybe such a system would curtail plans the play the long game, making it impossible for newer users to compete.

AFAICT, Yahoo usually go for users in the vacant rank first, and goes out that rank occasionally, perhaps when if doesn't find a suitable within the rank. That said I've been following Bustadice campaign for quite a while now It's not regular for user to get ranked up eg: finaleshot2016 has been Hero Member before joining in the campaign, but never got a chance to rank up until now (he got removed) Ralle14 also spent over 5 months receiving Sr Member pay before being able to move up to Hero Spot.

I'd say the reason for users willing to accept any pay is because of the longevity of the campaign, at least for me it is. The pay rate is also better than what most campaign tends to offer these days, so why not. I'd rather join $25 per week campaign which is bound(probably) to last for long term, than ~$40-50 paying campaign which would only last for a 2-3 weeks.

Despite he's indisputable talents, Dembele just keep showing that he can't be relied upon, too unstable for my liking. But I think he did a better job on the left flank than Griezmann would normally do on that wing. I also think the red card to Araujo was a bit harsh, it was a 50/50 side to side challenge.

Wow, insane! I thought City will go full revenge today but they lost again. At home Shocked

It is still way too early and all this can change soon, but Liverpool could not have dreamt for something like this. I thought they will have problems when I heard that Laporte got injured, but this is really beyond all expectations.

It was crazy week for everyone indeed, Only Hilarious was able to get a double digits point. Just last week almost everyone had as much as Hilarious did this week...
Congrats to Hilarious for taking the lead, You're definitely going to last longer on the 1st position than LTU_btc, Since we are out of actions for the upcoming weekend.

It's definitely going to be a hard chase for City now, but It's definitely still too early for any conclusions to be drawn.

I had my doubts  Embarrassed
I'm having this slight doubt about going with Man City today

Alot more games to go for next weekend.

There's an international break coming up, So there won't be any league matches until 19th (next 2 weeks).

Another boring weekend is looming, Ikr.  Sad

Monchengladbach - Augsburg

My prediction is Monchengladbach 3-0 Augsburg

Nice prediction, but Monchengladbach scored 3 in just 13 minutes and I think there will surely be more goals in this match.

Monchengladbach are currently at the top of the Bundesliga table, Wolfsburg could climb all the from 8th position to 2nd if they managed to secure 3 points against Union Berlin later today. The point gaps in the Bundesliga table is a very close one, unlike it used to be over the years, even this early.

I just change  3 of my picks in the last minute too kick, hopefully I won't regret the decision I had Burnley vs  Everton  2 - 2 > 1 - 2, Norwich 2 -1 > 2 - 0, WestHam 2 - 1 > 2 - 0

We are underway!

Fingers crossed Lloris makes a full recovery, I saw the video of that injury & it did not look good. I wouldn’t wish that kind of injury on anybody.

I hope he gets bsck stronger!

Only a single shot on target with 76 minutes gone and Tottenham have conceded 10 goals in their last two matches, How awful!
6500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 05, 2019, 12:49:11 PM
Anyone can tell me what happened? Early goal, early Lloris substitution, did he get injured? Watching from text livescores so can't tell.

Yes, Lloris picked up an injury. The early goal was his fault, he spilled what seemed an easy to be handled cross to unmarked Maupay's path. He thereafter landed awkwardly on his arm, he could be out for a while.
