I'll never sell my coins under $1k, probably not even under $2k.

Buying all I can especially under $500, hodl for a couple of years and probably be pretty happy about it Smiley

See you guys in a couple of years!

I'm o.k. with your plan... . .however... Are you gonna buy any BTC with your fiat while BTC prices are between $500 and $1000?

How about when BTC prices are between $1000 and $2000?

If you have an income in fiat, then as you acquire more fiat with the passage of time, what do you do with the portion of your fiat that you are investing with the passage of time?

Is there another place to invest, besides BTC?

Don't you continue to buy BTC with your investment allocated fiat, even if BTC prices are above $500?

Otherwise, where else would you invest your fiat that would be better than BTC?

Yes I have bought and will buy BTC with fiat while BTC prices are between $500 and $1000.

Probably not between $1000 and $2000, depending on the situation ofcourse. Because I have bought the most under $500.

I buy BTC with all the money I can miss except some savings.

I also invested some of my BTC in XMR and a tiny bit in XCN.

I wouldn't invest my fiat elsewhere than BTC, except for a poker tournament Smiley

say its 2020 and i come into alot of fiat.

wtf do you think i'm going to do with it?

buy dips!

price could be well over 10,000$ doesn't really make a difference... as long as the price hasn't doubled over and over faster and faster and the chart is totally parabolic

why not buy the dips?

the higher the price the more it make sense to own some bitcoin, price doesn't go up for no reason...

Hey Phoenix:

Are you gonna attempt to dump posts again when this thread approaches 8888 pages - just for lolz?   You do NOT have a lot of posts that you can dump, so maybe 30 pages at most.... ?  but I suppose that you can attempt to inspire others to dump posts, too.. but it seems to be quite childish and negative towards the historical value of this thread to engage in such dumping conduct.... even though there are short-term lolz that are created...

Anyhow, 8888 coming soon and I call it early as inevitable!!!!!....

Nah, that was just lulz, and I sweated for it !! As you say, it was inevitable! Seeing people post graphs of the post count collapsing was hilarious and only encouraged me more. 'I think we are over the worst' - I went nuts  deleting as much as possible! I had nothing against 7777, just got inspired by the first person to delete a post for the same effect, and carried on going. Nothing personal .... got nothing against 7777 or 8888. 9999 ... well, that's another story  Wink

Childish ... maybe ... fun ... sure !
And lets face it, there's lots of childish stuff here without which it would be as dry as something really dry that needed loads of vaseline Shocked

it was entertaining. thanks for the lolz

i feel like with paypal and other recent new some momentum has been building, I find it really surprising that the price has barely moved (I think I was that it briefly tested 500 last night) But I mean come on! Sad

we're still trying to figure out what the price ought to be since the massive explosive growth phase.
but its nearing the end...
after 9.5 months ( the longest bear market bitcoin has ever see )
there is light at the end of the tunnel...

Inspirational Buy All the Bitcoins Speech (Hoist the Colours)

Adam   : Its not over
Jay       : There's still MUCH opportunity here
Shroom: We have an armada against us, and with the manipulator there's no chance.
Adam   : Only a fool would sell now....
Blitz     : Even going all in won't bring us back to 1000$, and bitcoin isn't something i intended to lose money on...
Adam   : Your right...

Then what will we lose money on?

You will listen to me.
LISTEN!

The lurkers and anti-bitcoin-gov-agents will still be looking here, to us, to the wall observers to gage sentiment. and what will they see? a bunch of traders panicking over each other to grab the last bits of fiat before we plunge? NO they will see free men, bitcoiners, guided by faith, with the most extreme of convictions, BUYING & HODLING for a slim chance at Freedom!
And what the manipulators will see is shit tons of fiats buying up all the manipulative walls, and they will know we mean business!
By our hate of bankerts, and the size of our balls, and the longevity of the blockchain

...

Gentlemen,

send the fiats...

SEND THE FAITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to active participation, and hot Chinese girlfriends are likely over-rated - especially once you get to know them for a while.  Accordingly, you likely can just get a new one, if you employ some decent logistics.. and also, if you were capable of getting one hot Chinese girlfriend, then you are likely capable of getting another one.   Cheesy Wink

Just use the Chinese Slumber Method.

Speaking of which, you may like to know that my crusade to warn my fellow Brazilians away from bitcoin has been an embarassing failure so far.

Almost everybody I talked to about bitcoin was already way more skeptical about it than I am, and would never consider buying it.  All I could do was to give them a few more reasons to be skeptical -- which they listened to impatiently, only out of politeness, because they did not need any.

Perhaps the problem was that those people were much smater than me.

The only exceptions were two young chaps who now and then insult me on twitter, and love bitcoin because they believe that it will let them buy illegal drugs in total safety.

where do you come up with this stuff?

why do you feel compelled to tell us we can't possibly make bitcoin work because not everyone agrees with it?

when will you realize we are here by choice and don't care what you say?

I wanted to quote this so he couldn't delete it. I never received an item bought in an auction from this user - not sure if the account is compromised or if he was just having fun. Either way, this is now saved.

looks like you won it on the 2nd? hasnt been that long he said it could take up to 14 days, i paid for one around the same time and still waiting too.

he got the letter and claimed it had nothing but the bitcoin business cards which i use to protect the coins in transport, I not sure what happened there, so i gave him a refund.

I try to be as clear as possible on the first pass.  What, specifically, would you like to have clarified?

just how tasty was the cupcake, did it have some rum in it?

Pure yumolium.  As long as you don't ruin it with Mc.D coffee.  That stuff is undrinkable, and I buy those gigantic "40 Miler" styrofoam cups at exit ramp gas stations and never complain.
If you HAVE TO buy Mc.D coffee, either cut it with 1/3rd milk, or ask for a cup of ice, pour off 1/4 of the coffee, and dump the ice in.  (Mc.D ice cubes taste just like their water--awful.  But it's the same awful all across US.  I suspect it's a special additive they use to make their water boil at 200 degrees C, and make their coffee possible.

i drink black coffee.

 Mc.D coffee??  NEVER AGAIN!!

wtf with this poll?

It is very unlikely that something better will come along than bitcoin.

The internet has been around for decades. A way of transferring value around was one of the first notions and it took until 2009 for this amazing concept(s).

No way something else is about to come along that.

How about a coin with proper anonymity?

those coins will be regulated to death...

Yeah, and? The concept is... sound. Bitcoin doesn't have to be the successful version. Bitcoin is still so tiny that nothing is preventing a better implementation from being the preferred payment system.

Bitcoin I'd

you watch the market like a hawk, what do you say about the markets reaction to this dump?

bullish or bearish reaction?
