Do you think we will see BTC below 4K ever again?
Honestly? If we survived China stopping all exchanges and ICOs, I see no reason on why bitcoin will be stoppable in the future. Stupid comments from bankers and wall street investors could affect the price but nothing that could kick us back to 4000$.

If you think that bitcoin is being attacked now then wait like 5 years more. The only way to fight against this is to spread awareness and knowledge and I believe this is why we have this forum in the first place. If people really understand how bitcoin works and what is it really about, I doubt anyone will ever sell again or take what a CEO of a bank will say.

Does anyone know how many maximum posts a day can be left, what would the Activity increase? i.e., allow more than 50 posts a day, there is no reason to leave it. Activity after 50 posts will not increase. Well, or something in this way
There is no maximum for posts, you can post as much as you want as long as you're not spamming and the increase cannot be increased by more then 14 activity per two weeks as I already said.

If the exchange have minimum fees then there is nothing you can do about this. As for converting your bitcoins to USD then trading with individuals is more suitable as using third party services will only make you pay more fees.

This is very useful, I hope it can be shipped worldwide. -__-
It cannot be shipped worldwide. I wasn't able to ship it to my country even though they offer DHL Express so I used a reship company. I want to buy something like that. Than Trezor better than others?
Trezor and Ledger Nano S are the best on the market, choose one of them.

It looks like the case have some flaws, and silicon is the not the first thing that comes to mind when you say a case, I was thinking on something more like this (ignore the price). Either way, the idea looks very nice but since you're targeting the crypto community, It would make more sense to use a platform where cryptos are accepted such as KickICO.

The private keys are pre-generated from the seed (even the ones that you generate afterwards). Electrum don't allow importing private keys (only sweep) for this specific reason because people then won't be able to restore that imported private keys using the seed as It wasn't generated from it.

Should i create a node even if i dont put any bitcoins in the wallet?
You don't need to hold any bitcoins in your wallet If you want to run a full node. The last time I used the Bitcoin Core wallet he weighed 120 gb . I wonder how much it weighs now? Probably more than 200 gb?
~135 GB at the moment and you can check real time data: https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size

Are you sure that whatever commissions they are taking doesn't represent the exchange fees? Usually, the bots such as C.A.T and Gunbot etc. let you link your account by setting up the API key from your exchange account (e.g Poloniex or Bittrex) and you can set whatever permissions you want while creating the API so withdrawing is not possible through the application. If the bot you're using doesn't let you any of that and they actually make you deposit inside the BOT then It's possible they have control over everything.

If we're speaking about desktop or phone then as long as you're not browsing random sites or downloading anything you find in the internet, you should be fine. If you are looking for the best security then a hardware wallet have no alternatives.

Been nervous for weeks because of all the withdraw complaints, I had 0 problems and it took about 5-10 min to get the eth to another exchange. I wonder if this thread is full of trolls?
I believe that's not the case. I was at Reddit /r/ICONOMI a few minutes ago and I noticed a new post regarding Liqui changing deposit addresses. It could explain why people are not getting their accounts funded.

You can't really know these details unless mixers decide to disclose them clearly (and you need all of them to do so in order to get an accurate number). The Darknet is thriving, I wouldn't be surprised to know that bigger amounts are being tumbled.

If you check the 'current requirements' sticky thread on this section, you will see that fancy authentication is already planned.

Did I just lose close to $40K in cryptocurrency as a result of an upgrade? ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Downloaded the upgrade (from the Exodus official site), ran the install, got the "Install complete, you can run the upgraded version from the shortcut on your desktop" message, tried running it.....NOTHING. The program does NOT come up. Tried waiting, re-running multiple times.....the app is not coming up. I have a VERY, VERY bad feeling. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) The thin is, I can see the Exodus process in task manager...but the app is not running on my computer. If I completely uninstalled and re-installed, would that be the next thing to try? Kind of desperate at this point, that is a lot of money. (To me.) Any word of advise would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. I'm going to assume that you do have the seed. If yes, there is nothing to be afraid of. The FAQ clearly state that installing a new version and overwriting an old version is safe as Exodus keeps your blockchain assets in a separate location. The issue might be on the update itself so maybe downgrading will help. Still, I suggest not doing anything for now, I forwarded your question to the Co founder, I will let you know once I get a reply.

If you have the private keys for the address where the funds are as you claim, you should be able to recover it easily. Since you already have Electrum installed, Go to Wallet => Private keys => Sweep and paste the private keys there.

It was 2009 when I was studying computer science at Helsinki University of Technology. Inspired by libertarian ideals, I came up with the idea of a decentralized Internet currency that cannot be controlled by any government or other single entity. I contacted some guy named Satoshi Nakamoto, who had drafted a technical proposal of such a system just a couple months earlier. He called it Bitcoin.
The story of how I became head admin is actually pretty boring. Moderators were needed, so I was made a global moderator. Then admins were needed, so I was made an admin. Then over time the other admins slowly lost interest and resigned until I was the only one left. I guess most of the people who were around here to see this have more-or-less left the community now. That's a bit sad.
It's not entirely clear, but for simplicity I usually say that I became head admin at the beginning of 2011, a little over a year after the forum was created.
The forum was originally located at bitcoin.org/smf, then forum.bitcoin.org (hence the redirect), and finally bitcointalk.org. Fun fact: The name "bitcointalk" was invented by Jeff Garzik, and he's the one who bought the domain.
So based on the quotes above (first by Sirius), It's safe to say that there is pretty much no relation between them and they never met face to face.
