6481  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Burger King Accepts Bitcoin on: February 20, 2016, 06:35:43 AM
Wow Burger King in the Netherland now accepts bitcoins Smiley A great news for all bitcoiners.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/02/19/burger-king-in-the-netherlands-accepts-bitcoin-and-hosts-meetups/

this is a very cool news, i always like seeing these kind of news where a new service is starting to use bitcoin.

i only hope that they don't come to regret it in the future because of lack of interest, long confirmation time, and also possible double spend.
6482  Economy / Services / Re: BitShit!! new webstore on: February 20, 2016, 06:22:25 AM
what is this, so gross arghhh
does such a service have any actual client that sends shit around to other people's homes?
6483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: February 19, 2016, 07:34:18 AM
what i have come to like out of all different investment methods is trading altcoins. i have always only invested as much as i could afford to lose and so far i was lucky and i did not lose more than my profit so i am happy with my decisions.
6484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found a bitcoin bank but want to check its validity. on: February 19, 2016, 07:32:14 AM
even if it were not a total scam i would have suggested you to stay away from these type of services. because if they have not planned on scamming ahead, they will turn to scam sooner or later and you will be left without a satoshi and nowhere to go.
6485  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to monetize hitleap minutes on: February 19, 2016, 07:21:16 AM
the best way to monetize that traffic minute is to have a website and spend them on your own website to increase the traffic of it. other than that the amount of money you can earn by selling the minute alone is not worth the effort.
6486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are the banks corrupting Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2016, 07:03:27 AM
u cannot stop an idea who's time has come,

its a skynet bred self reinforcing self protecting

system, a digital system born out of an analogous

world, u have to say we have become the digital

heart of the world and we now have complete

control of the analogous parts

Gavin can change the code at any time. Isn't that one person with way too much power over the project?

what?!!
he has already changed the code once (bitcoin xt) and failed.
and no matter how much more he or anybody else changes bitcoin code, as long as there are other people using bitcoin (all the users, services, miners, other developers, etc) it will fail again if it is not useful, and they don't agree upon it.
6487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: February 19, 2016, 06:57:12 AM
This match Levante vs Getafe is unpredictable with huge risk, i think draw has very good possibility there and under 2.5 goals will be good one to take some profit by betting on that match.

I also think this match will be get finished under 2.5 goals or maybe under 1.5 goals.

i think i am going to pass on this game. i have a bad feeling that if i bet on this particular match i will end up losing no matter what i choose and i am usually right about these feelings that i have.
6488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 19, 2016, 06:50:37 AM
When mistaken clicking max bet button and lose

What kind of fool wrong click when betting the max bet? What you are not careful dude ?
Things like this happens. Maybe that is why the max button is so close to the roll / bet button. Cheesy

yeah, these things happen when people are gambling for a long time, for instance this happens to me once or twice when i was betting late at night and i was half asleep.
6489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: February 19, 2016, 06:42:29 AM
of course i keep a fiat account.

there is this saying that goes "don't put all your eggs in one basket". i truly believe in that, so i have always tried to follow it. which means i invest in a couple of things.

so obviously i keep fiat account because we are still reliant on it, bitcoin, gold and a couple of other things just to stay safe and keep some valuable for a rainy day.
6490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving on mythical date: June 21, 2016 (midsummer!) on: February 19, 2016, 06:37:49 AM
i think the exact day of halving is not important because the effect of block halving is not going to take place at the exact time of the halving.

the effects (the big rise because of it) which everybody is hoping for can happen either before or after that time with a month difference. but it will happen for sure.
6491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could you share Your first time BTC Experience? on: February 19, 2016, 06:31:00 AM
my first experience with bitcoin was a good one, because my close friend introduced me to bitcoin and taught me all i needed to know about it and even set up a wallet for me and game me some BTC to test everything.

now that more than a year is past i am still happy to have found out about bitcoin.
6492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving: how will it impact the bitcoin ecosystem? on: February 19, 2016, 06:26:36 AM
if the bitcoin price continues going up as it is doing right now, there is not going to be much problem for bitcoin ecosystem but if the price stays the same level for a long time or even goes down then the miners would have to either stop mining or increase the fees for each transaction.
6493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to spend Bitcoin? Newbie's opinion. on: February 19, 2016, 06:24:10 AM
i think that the best way to spend your bitcoins is to buy a steam game or something like that, it would give you entertainment

how one can buy steam games with Bitcoin Huh

we all have to wait for steam to start accepting bitcoin directly so that we don't have to trust any third party for buying steam stuff. but until then remember to always use escrow for each trade.
6494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: rdd withdrawal order from Cryptsy not completed yet on: February 19, 2016, 05:56:38 AM
they were supposed to open some of their wallets, so their users can withdraw those coins but the updates stopped at some point and there is no more news from them:

Quote
– Update 2016/01/19 10:08pm –

The following wallets have been opened for withdrawals:

(removed)

We will be opening more wallets over the next couple days.

– Update 2016/02/04 1:54am –

I apologize for the delay in updates - we’ve continued to open more wallets for withdrawal and I will post a full list of what is open shortly.   We suggest anybody having coins in these open wallets to remove them from the exchange as soon as possible.

i don't know why the list is removed!
6495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: February 18, 2016, 12:46:52 PM
What is your favorite part of bitcoins. Sorry about writing about the 13 bitcoins, I was writing it for another person and by mistake it ended up here

my favorite thing about bitcoin is the fact that i don't have to go through any rules like what they have at credit card companies, or in PayPal,... i just use it on my own and never have to give all my life story to a third party just to be able to purchase stuff through them.

p.s. when you edit your post, edit the topic too, it is on top of the edit section
6496  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you do if you bet max and get this 2 times? on: February 18, 2016, 12:42:08 PM
..
So I was messing around the circle game of betcoin.tm and I've been seeing that people are winning in this game so I tried playing on the x10 circle with 0 bets. I usually bet 0.01 in every bet I make on this circle game and then I hit 10x, 2 times in a row. If only I bet 0.01, 0.1 on the next bet, that would be 1 btc in just around 2 minutes lol. Someone here already have some fat wins on this fun game?

what usually happens to me is the exact opposite of your experience, i always bet small amounts and even 1 satoshi bets but if i ever make a tiniest mistake like clicking on max amount and bet i will lose all of my bankroll no matter what the multiplier is Smiley
6497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any new gambling site idea ? on: February 18, 2016, 12:36:15 PM
most are too mainstream is a casino, sports, blackjack, etc
no new innovation?

If a game is already well known as a casino, sports, blackjack, Dice, roulette, etc it is good why to do new innovation.?? . An innovation is indeed necessary but innovation must aim to make a game better. So far all the famous games have very perfect, so there is need for a new innovation. Gambling during this time I think it is perfect and it is very complete for use.

innovation is not just making a new game. it can be the same game but with a brand new look and design. for example in dice there is always the same script that they copy from each other and it is being released with a new name but innovation can be hiring a developer to code it so that it becomes more interesting, with new features like better autobet and not just the same simple thing that everybody has and a lot more.
6498  Economy / Speculation / Re: holding $430~$450 within 19~26/2 ? on: February 18, 2016, 12:32:01 PM
yeah, i think it is possible since we are just back at the previous level of price. as i remember it was ~$450 before the drama which Mike Hearn caused by his leaving.
i believe this is just B.S. effect wearing off
6499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: February 18, 2016, 12:22:33 PM
i have gambled and lost almost 0.1BTC over a long period of time in different games. but i would never make a big bet as OP is saying no matter how much money (bitcoin) i have i would never bet 20BTC because i know by now that when i bet 1 satoshi and lose i can easily bet 20BTC and lose as easily.
6500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 18, 2016, 12:18:38 PM
Maybe try to make a website. There is a lot of opportunity in this. You just need a kickass idea
Nowdays you can make it almost free or even free

make a website is not easy. at least you need sufficient capital and what your objectives to make a website to earn money? certainly need to have a lot of visitors and it was difficult for the new website.

Better than Just do Lending bitcoin for interest. Bitcoins can gain interest if used properly. The main way to do this is using websites like BitBond, which allows a user to lend Bitcoins to another user at a defined interest rate. One can also use Bitcoin banks, which attempt to act like any bank would for any other sort of currency.

this forum is also there lending. but I do not really like, because quite a long time for the return of these funds and the interest is not too big

I mostly play with faucets to earn more bitcoins. lending seems to be quite risky for me.
Also timewise it seems a bad thing to do.

But I am sure some people can earn good on it.

lending is just too much work and stress for not enough reward if you ask me.
there is just a lot of scammers out there trying their best to get pennies out of other people and run away just to be one penny richer.
