6481  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCASH Cashout Assistance Service on: June 07, 2019, 05:39:56 PM
Same rates din sa ibang GCASH exchanger. Fees collected by OP is just reasonable. Ok na yan.

Now that GCASH withdrawal isn't available in coins.ph, this will be a good alternative. Pero nung time na available pa ang GCASH, it's usual na walang magttry ng service ni OP.

Questions:

a) Can you accommodate large transactions? or pag sabay-sabay ang request?

b) Your availability. How someone can take advantage of the urgent process if you are not available? Yes, you will used Telegram but it's not about the plaform but your active status itself. Are you open for other ways to ping you like text message or something?
6482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 07, 2019, 05:18:02 PM
Directbet back then can be used without registration but they have the option for Email registration in their system to take privileges of the advantages. Gamblers did not just prefer this site because of a no-registration feature but payments there is instant as long as the bet is settled won.

Since it's been a while that there's no site like that, gamblers are now used to it so a simple email requirement should be fine at your site. It's easy as 1,2 and 3 and can be used for account recovery, payment slip history, betting history references, etc.

No need to implement a whole KYC system as gambling is different from the usual decentralized system that most crypto exchanges are now. In case of problems, minor or major, your team should be ready in investigating technical matters without asking KYC in the end.
6483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big banks going against crypto on: June 07, 2019, 04:51:23 PM
FinTech banks are disrupting traditional banks, but what if you want to move your money into a cryptocurrency asset? If you sweep your funds into a cryptocurrency account, what cryptocurrency are you going to use to hold your funds?

We are talking about own funds here, therefore, it should be obvious what crypto are we going to use. And not just that, crypto isn't only the option we have.

Banks in the future will surely be modernized, adopting financial technology ideas. However, some third world countries will still use the traditional way of the banking system as modernizing requires pre-requisites before implementing. It will take time and the economic situation of a certain country matters.

Anyways, I don't see this as big banks going against crypto. The title is misleading to the content of the main post.
6484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i start a game here in the forum? on: June 07, 2019, 03:24:14 PM
As stated in the title, is it possible to run a game here in forum?
Here is the idea, let's take the example of Noona and Mismar (they are my turtles), if i can publish a live video (in youtube for example) of the tortules competing in a course for many times and offer bets for users here in a live thread by the help of one of the known escrows here, as we see in auctions or ruffles. (is this against forum rules?)
This may look dumb for many of you because i don't take it seriously so i can't explain it well.
I want to know if this is possible here in btc forum or not. And if anyone can suggest more ideas on how to realize this.

Sorry for the bad english.

That is possible.

But before proceeding, what are you really trying to achieve here? I mean how the game will perform? What's the "literal" meaning of turtles competing in a course?

Way better to discuss it here so that once you open your game, there will be few questions that will ask.
6485  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 07, 2019, 02:46:51 PM
I'm using GCASH for my instant cash out,  but since yesterday it's not working yet, though that one is really expensive but the convenient is there so I'm using it. Do they have any announcement regarding this problem on the cash out system, and time frame where it will be working again?

As usual, no announcement kapag may problem sa isa sa mga cashout option nila. Nagstart madisable ang GCASH last Tuesday before the holiday. Tapos til now wala pa rin.

Matagal ng may fee ang BDO last year pa.  I used to withdraw kasi dyan, then sa eastwest at BPI, among  those iniwasan ko na sa BDO kasi nga parang hindi welcome ang cryptocurrency withdrawal sa kanila.  If you recall yung issue ng isang account na sinuspend ng BDO because of encashing with cryptocurrency.  Pumunta pa sila ng BSP para magpaclear.  Mabuti naman na naclear din at naayos but then imagine the hassle.

Ah I see. Not used to withdraw in BDO so I just learned the fees recently.

By the way dun sa last statement mo, mga anong oras mo nilapag yang withdrawal request mo and ilan beses na nangyari?

Exactly.

Ngayon wala ng natirang option for instant cashout kapag sarado sila LBC at Palawan. Sa GCASH traders na lang ako umaasa for now as an alternative.
6486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling frustration and depression on: June 07, 2019, 02:26:34 PM

Gambling is not supposed to make you look like this because it supposed to make you happy.

First of all, doing gambling is not a thing to make people happy. That's wrong thinking and I don't believe in "gambling for fun" purposes.

You gamble to expect something in return. If you gambled just to have some fun then you are on the wrong path. You just literally throwing out some money.

If you feel any depression right now because of the money that you've lost better to quit gambling, and seek for some help.

"Depression" is a big word. No way just because of gambling people turned out like that. There are lots of factors that surely involved that triggers depression. And those factors happen on that person prior when doing gambling.

Do you ever feel this before because you didn't achieve your goal and you lose all your savings because of greediness?

There's no such thing as an instant profit in the world of gambling.

Professional gamblers also lose a lot before they reached their status today. In here, they learned how to battle those problems why they didn't achieve their goal.  It takes time indeed before they become used to it.
6487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is going to win the NBA FINALS MVP? on: June 06, 2019, 11:32:21 PM
Not locking this thread, let's continue to discuss who shall win as the series is still alive, who knows we see some good value after game 3, then we will bet again.

Did you even realize that odds will be way more lowered while the game is progressing?

Game 4 is coming and obviously, it's now down to Curry and Leonard as they have the most impressive stats from Game 1 to 3 and will surely increase more in the following games. Even Draymond Green, Iggy, Lowry, Siakam will produce 50 points next game, it won't change the possible Finals MVP candidates since aside from the obvious reason that it will not happen, just add that there will be surely contributions too from Leonard and Curry. Again, Finals MVP are stats gained from Finals Game 1 to where to it will end.

There is no reason now for this thread to exist. Take a look at some replies, not even close to what the topic is all about. You can all discuss this in the NBA thread instead.

I want to add more bet on who's going to be MVP in the finals but i can't since the betting for MVP is gone on Sportsbet. What sports book offer such betting do you know?

Come back another day or check it regularly.

As usual in every after game, betting will be closed and will come back later. Not just in Sportsbet but for other sports betting site as well.
6488  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 06, 2019, 11:07:29 PM

Nope bro. Di sya puwede maging choice. If you read my previous message, ang purpose ko for GCASH is instant withdrawal "ANYTIME" even midnight. Madalas kasi ako out of town and bihira ang LBC at Palawan pero maraming ATM.

If ever magtagal pa tong disable ng GCASH, I have no choice but to convert in advance kahit ano pa ang Bitcoin price just to make sure I have extra.

Anyways guys since Bank was mentioned, mayroon na pong withdrawal fees ang BDO na dating free as usual.
6489  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 3.3.6 on: June 06, 2019, 10:47:33 PM
Some exchanges do not recognize this address when withdrawing bitcoin.

Take a look here for reference:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bech32_adoption#Exchanges

IIRC, the last time I checked only a few listed.
6490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin on: June 06, 2019, 10:24:12 PM

In Bitwage, we obviously believe that getting paid in crypto is leading to increased adoption. If you get paid in BTC, you look for ways to spend it, if you can spend BTC to pay for goods and services, you probably want to earn it too.

Just being curious about your opinions - what are your thoughts on getting your salary paid in Bitcoin? Hell yeah, that's great, no way, this idea sucks?
Do you ACTUALLY feel like bitcoin adoption keeps increasing or do you still struggle to find a merchant who accepts BTC??

Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

For a crypto friendly country, that will be good even there are fewer merchants around to spend BTC with. At most of the cases, people preferred bitcoin payment not because they will spend it but rather will take advantage of its price. So few merchants accepting bitcoin isn't really a big deal to them.

The idea of getting paid in bitcoin is not convenient in a country where options to withdraw or convert it to cash is limited or having a hard time to process. In here, bitcoin payment will not use quickly as soon as it received.

Anyhow, this feature should be not mandatory by the company and only limited to employees who preferred to be paid in BTC.

6491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 06, 2019, 08:31:31 PM

Able to take advantage of the @2.6 odds for the Raptors Moneyline. My final attempt to bet on Raps at Oracle Arena. I just play with the risks since it's worth to put a shot.

Betslip

Want to placed bet on Golden State Warriors next game but the hell the ML odds are low. I understand below @2 but below @1.5 isn't really my preferred odds. And even Raptors are in 2-1 now, the line to them is almost @3.

A trap indeed.

Analyzation about Game 3:

Firepower indeed became an issue to Golden State Warriors but Raptors just really played good. Let's give credits to that rather than point out that just because of Klay's absence, they won. It's disrespect. See the hot shooting of Danny Green from the rainbow area. Kyle Lowry also did well.

It's a good move that Klay sits out in Game 3 rather than to risk it that may result in much worst injury. Game 4 is still undecided to him but chances are high that he will play.
6492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Indicator Flashes a Sell Signal on: June 06, 2019, 07:48:20 PM

A sell signal can be a reference to those day traders who are taking advantage of the price swings.

If you are a HODLER then don't mess to their analyst or simply ignored it, simple as that.

Day or short term traders have their own sets of references and those signals created by the chart lines are one of those. Since it's critical to play at daily price swings, they are looking at whatever references available that has great and well-detailed analysis so that they can create a strategy for their next execution.
6493  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 06, 2019, 07:27:43 PM

And take note, running smoothly si GCASH so ibig sabihin between coins.ph and Globe ang may problema.

Naghanap ako ng GCASH trader to coins.ph and success ang transcation. Di ko recommended to sa iba. Nagkataon kasi ma kakilala akong trader ng gcash to coins.

6494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 05, 2019, 10:57:44 PM

It's just 2 hours to go before the game time and Klay Thompson still undecided.

As far as the Warriors officials are concerned, they preferred Thompson should be out even just for now. A final decision by Steve Kerr I guess.

Every game is important but for me, since the game was even, no need for Klay to go on a 100% push. Will wait for updates while game time is near.
6495  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can these returns be legit? 50-55% in 12 months? on: June 05, 2019, 10:04:18 PM
~snipped~

The way you construct this 2nd post of yours in this thread as a response to those replies here makes me think that you are really eager to test the waters at the site.

Since no one here has an actual experience using them, we are just leading you into a "safe" place.

Opportunity? Chances? They are everywhere. It's just that we can grab these things without increasing the risks we are dealing with. Even without digging technical stuff at what they offered, how come the reviews and information about them are limited? Might be promising but I'd rather use my common sense here.

I'm seeing this as a pure promotion. No offense.
6496  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 05, 2019, 09:38:54 PM

Even holidays like New Year's Day as an example which is a regular holiday available to.
b) The day prior to recent holiday (Eidl Fitr) disable na sya na dapat mismong holiday mangyari.

Sana di internal problem at wag magtuloy tuloy. Disregarding fees, laking tulong talaga sa akin nito pag umaalis ako lalo pag out of town at dis-oras ng gabi. This coming weekend may alis ulit ako and ayaw ko mag advance convert to BTC to PHP para lang may extra.
6497  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia !! on: June 05, 2019, 09:14:18 PM
What happened shows that any user should withdraw their funds from the exchange after they've finished their trade.

I think that what happened is more an indication that people don't care and almost beg to lose funds. We have had so many examples of why people shouldn't leave any coins on an exchange, but they still continue doing it.

For what will happen to exchange is unpredictable. Cryptopia, even how sh*t they are to other are way better compared to other mid-range exchanges around.

And besides, it's not about storing coins why we used these exchange. In my case, my altcoins there are only traded in Cryptopia with a good volume. Now to minimize the risks of being scammed should I trade it instead on DEX with dead volume? Of course no. Therefore I will use Cryptopia as I have no other choice compared to just idle my coins on a secured wallet and wait for it to become dead. I already got a decent profit playing from Cryptopia and for what happened to them is part of the risks.

Could you suggest me a wallet to contain all the altcoins, or at least the most possible please ?

There is no such thing as wallet that can stored all altcoins.

However, there are multi-cryptocurrency wallets. You can consider using:

a) Hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor)
b) Coinomi
c) Exodus
d) MyEtherWallet for ERC20 tokens
6498  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Fraudsters (article) on: June 05, 2019, 08:53:42 PM
http://promo.raidofinance.eu/fraudsters  -- here we published an article

I guess it's too short (it should be bigger twice for a better result). What do you think?

So basically you are stating that the site (I see it's an exchange who held an ICO recently) does now have a section for fraud related issues?

Fine after all. But honestly no need to create a separate thread for that and just post updates on your official ANN thread.
6499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus or No Bonus? That is the Question... on: June 05, 2019, 08:32:07 PM

Although we all know that bonus feature is part of promotions and marketing, isn't it nice to have a quite compensation just in case we decided to play hard on long term on the said gambling site? Way better than a simple deposit - play - withdraw then repeat....

Yes might be difficult to reach the waiger requirement at some of the cases but I already made it two times at different site. The site is popular today and will not mention it here as respect for OP and the other one is already closed today. See the advantage?

Well then, case to case basis indeed as there are really times that waiger requirements requires large deposits before anyone can achieve.
6500  Other / Meta / Re: Should beginner and help section be moved to the top of the forum? on: June 05, 2019, 08:08:02 PM
As they say, first impression is last impression Tongue

So one of my friend was asking me about bitcoins and I referred him to some Bitcoin articles and also referred him to bitcointalk forum. After a while he said bitcointalk forum looks really complicated and he had a bit long time trying to explore stuffs.

I guess for a complete noob, the beginner and help section should be linked in a way that makes it easier for them to find Tongue

It's not forum's fault that your friend is having a hard time exploring the sections.

Back in my newbie day, I didn't experience the same, not even have guidance at all, but take my time to be used on the forum's interface. Your friend is new to the interface so therefore he is not used to it. That's normal.

Why not help and assist him instead? Guide him. Since your friend want an overall spoonfeed to learn the interface, why not help him along the way rather than the forum will adjust for it?  Even 100% noobs will eventually be used to this. Just continue lurking in the forum.
