I can show you my signature earnings: 1RoLLiNpNdPDKkgyngdSg5QHBqRqTUrFY (Balance: ). This address is public knowledge anyway.

If you want to show off the balance of an address, use this:
Code:
 (Balance: [img]http://btc-priceimg.herokuapp.com/balance/1addy/00f[/img]
Replace 1addy with your own address.

On a general note, you can safely assume anyone wearing a signature is poor Tongue
Total received is 0.975 BTC, you are on your way to 1 BTC, but mate please don't say that anyone wearing signature is poor, I think that is not the case all the time. Some wears signature to promote the site they love and get some rewards but it is not something that will give them a good money for the living.
6482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: April 11, 2017, 08:33:32 AM
If i were given a opportunity to have bitcoin, I will save it and use it in case of emergency like for example with my studies. we don't have much money to spend anymore because I wasted to much time in college and now I would like to use bitcoin for me to finish my studies. lol Grin
Okay, but why couldn’t you use your countries currency to pay for the rest of your studies? I don’t think bitcoin will rise enough to pay for your studies during the time of your studies. I think you would find more luck trying to get some sort of scholarship. Even if you can’t get a big one there are a lot of micro scholarships that are fairly easy to get that would add up.
That's a very tough move, you cannot rely your education with the future of bitcoin. No once can ascertain if the price will move to a profitable price.
If not then we will stop our studies? That's is also considered as there are two outcome might happen.

I am agree that it's still possible to get rich with bitcoin, cause of it's price will surly rise higher. But I think bitcoin can suit not to every person. In some places 1100+$ is big money to buy at least one bitcoin and it is impossible to start investing with just one bitcoin. So for such people I would recommend to chose some other crypto currency, which shows good temps of grow now, but costs not so much.
I don't think so, bitcoin isn't a fast or easy way to get rich unless you're an early adopters who have at least BTC10,000 from trade with someone to buy a pizza, lol just kidding. The point is, we need huge amount of bitcoin to become a rich man, but the question is : how much do we have? I am sure most of us here don't have more than BTC10, moreover BTC100 or BTC1000.

I think if you have 100 bitcoins, you will be very rich in 10 years.
6485  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: December 30, 2016, 08:47:15 AM
We should have bitcoin for a long term investment. It is like having Gold. You are able to diversify your wealth. Having cash as a long term investment will be a foolish idea as purchasing power of cash keeps falling every year due to the inflation. But Bitcoin has a possibility to appreciate in value.

Cash is not even an investment just to make it clear. It is a type of paper that is used for purchasing goods, services and as well as the investments that you wanted to enter in short it is money. And even though there is inflation yearly, it doesn't mean that you are not going to rely on cash, are you sure that you are totally into bitcoins even if most of the people and investments in your country are still in cash?

The cash devalues year after year and the bitcoin appreciate in the long term. So bitcoin is much better.
6486  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 03, 2016, 06:57:23 PM
Why have bitcoin instead of real money simply because it is easier to use and more safe than any other bank accounts who steals your money for every transaction plus bitcoin has more value.

the main reason for holding the bitcoin is that it holds value in the long term, that is different from fiat.
6487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: October 24, 2016, 05:47:54 PM
Actually this will help the network long term but it's getting a little tiresome, let's see how the next fork goes and if there are any upcoming news with Casper. The price doesn't seem to be dropping below $10 anytime soon even with no news and regular attacks.

If any coin is to succeed in the long term it needs to be tested for safety and resilience. Trial by fire so to speak. So I'm actually glad that people are performing attacks, it's the only way to find out if the technology stands to survive or not on a larger scale.

Agree with this,  human  attacks  to a certain  technology  could somehow a good  move though  in order to  test a  particular thing  if it  would survive  for  long . In the case of ETH  i could somehow say  that its quite a good coin for me   inspite  of all issues  regarding into it  into the past months and years.
ETH was actually going places before the attacks! Notwithstanding it did not lose all its shine and on the flip side, all these attacks can end up bringing to the fore the doggedness of the coin and people would count that as plus. ETH has been one coin that puts bitcoin on its toes and thus creating keen competition, which presents opportunities for profit making for the traders that are looking at the right pictures.

I agree with that. The Ethereum is still quite young. But it has very good community support at the moment.
6488  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 30, 2016, 06:00:40 PM
I love having bitcoin and I think that using bitcoin is better than cash, its safer and you can also not lose it easily like cash.
Due to that I think its better to have bitcoin.
Every one love having bitcoin in there bitcoin wallets specially when they are receiving big amounts of bitcoin , cash in cash we use it for physical needs like buying foods whenever we wants buying something that we need specially the cloths and many more for me it better if we use two

In my country, I used to be able to buy the aeroplane ticket with bitcoin, but not any more. bitcoin is not so popular.
6489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: September 17, 2016, 06:15:19 PM
Told you so  Grin  Cool

What do you think would be a good selling point after this upward movement?  Grin

I think it can go as high as $20-30 or BTC equivalent, the devcon 2 hype will be huge, VB pitching Casper and white paper on scaling, okcoin exchange, raiden network and many more stuff.

If you are not that optimistic then to me $15 is a given and if you want to take profits there I won't blame you  Wink

I think so. It is a good time to accumulate some Ethereum at the current price. There could be a big pump soon.
The big pump has already happen,I think it is wise to wait for the price to fall back again before we buy ETH, I was not able to buy ETH because I fall for the trap of XMR expecting it can surpass ETH, I was wrong and now I will be back to eth.

I agree with that. Maybe we shall wait until the price drop to about 0.02 to buy again. The price might go to 0.03.
6490  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 06, 2016, 07:41:41 AM
Bitcoins instead of cash? I don't know, cash is better in this case, cause you can use it everywhere when bitcoin allows you online shopping only.
bitcoins are way better, cash is just for regular use while bitcoin could be used for both regular use and for investment purpose

Bitcoin is better. But you do not have many places to accept the bitcoin directly.
You have to convert the bitcoin first.
6491  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 24, 2016, 07:57:50 AM
because the value of cash can decrease from day to day, but if you invest your cash in bitcoin the price of bitcoin is expecting to increase, therefore it is better to keep your assets in bitcoin instead of cash.
and it will be decreasing because there is more and more money being printed out, in my opinion bitcoins are way better because of that

Yes and due to what happened with bitfinex we still havent got back to the price in where it is from the past month, so it is now really the good time to buy. As days goes by we are gaining back those lost dollars with buyers getting in.

I think the bitcoin price will rise in the next few months when the people are moving away from the altcoin to bitcoin again.
6492  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 07, 2016, 06:07:52 AM
It's not really a good idea. Not for me at least, as my country doesn't support BTC at all. After looking on many maps, I found out there are just 11 places you can pay with BTC at, out of which like 6 of them are ATMs.

It might be anonymous, fast and safe.. but even if my country would support BTC payments, confirmation would be a pain. For both the customers and the owners.

As you say, it can vary from country to country.
In a small city-state with high levels of internet penetration, bitcoin could really be a hit.

The bitcoin has limited supply unlike fiat which has unlimited supply. So the bitcoin price will rise in the long term.
6493  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 25, 2016, 11:48:25 AM
I have investment in bitcoin instead of cash in the bank that is because i see the potential of bitcoin to be good in the future and it will gives me a profit even in short term i think if i keep my bitcoin in long term it much better.

That is right. The potential of the bitcoin is much more than any other kind of fiat currency. It will rise against them.

The bitcoin price has risen in the last 7 years. I think if there is nothing big wrong with it, it will continue to rise.
6494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: July 13, 2016, 05:09:10 PM
so ethereum will be dead ?

lawsuits can be directed at vitalik, how does one sue the ceo of bitcoin?

Developer Claims Ethereum is Stolen Intellectual Property, Files Complaints with FBI

http://cointelegraph.com/news/developer-claims-ethereum-is-stolen-intellectual-property-files-complaints-with-fbi

I think that guy should sue the Ethereum and then we will know if he has any basis to do that kind of thing.

It depends on the Ethereum community's support of the hard fork, if they like it, then it will be live and well.
6495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: June 26, 2016, 04:50:02 PM
..
I just can't understand how the price is going up.

The ICO "Scheme Coin" tokens are worthless and clearly over valued by a lot.
AND it was just hacked for fuck sakes !

And the price is going up ? WTF ?

Seriously i have no respect for you people in Crypto you make me sick.
I also think we have whales pumping it / walls etc making sure it does not drop down to much..

..let me know how that works out for ya LOL

whatever..

I've move some of my btc to ETH. Glad I've dumped the rest of what I got from the ICOs. Later i will buy back the DAOs I've also withdraw when the hack rumor started lol.
That was hilarious of me  Grin I think I've just helped DAO drop its price.

I think the DAO just has a few months life left. According to Stephan Tual, it will be closed. So if you want to buy, you have to be quick.

If the DAO will be closed soon, would would anybody buy  it? The only value left for the DAO is speculation now.
6496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: June 12, 2016, 10:38:33 AM
time to rotate into btc

Several weeks ago, when the Etheruem price was around 0.032, it was time to rotate into the bitcoin.

I should have done that. But I thought the Etheruem price could go to around 0.04. So I did not sell.

0.04 is quite high price for Ethereum now, because the bitcoin price is around 580, that makes it to be $22.5.

We need very good news to drive the Ethereum price above 0.04 or very bad news for bitcoi to have the same effect.

It is quite unlikely for the Etheruem price to be 0.04 now. The bitcoin price has risen a lot recently.

In the future, when it is good usage of the Etheruem, the price of Etheruem will increase against bitcoin.
6497  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: May 10, 2016, 08:56:14 AM
I have some fiat, it depreciates year after year. I bought some bitcoin 3 years ago. Its price is many time higher.
6498  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Price Consolidating in Low $400's while pushing to 3000 CNY on: April 26, 2016, 11:47:43 AM
The consolidation in the last 4 months is good for the bitcon price action. The price is $465 now and is still rising.
6499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 07, 2016, 10:44:56 AM
That is my thoughts as well. Even the mining is less profitable now. So I will not build any new rigs.

Mining generates $10M of selling pressure per month. I think we will slowly dip until there are actual products, generating real revenue, not just pyramid schemes.

Will Augur come out in August this year? It will be the first major DApp to use the Ethereum network.
6500  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 06, 2016, 08:18:49 AM
If we compare the bitcoin with cash, the cash cannot be used for online transaction. The cash can also be used by criminals without being tracked.
