I would really like to get rid of my Intel 320 300GB SSD. I RMA'd one I bought in July 2011 and I just put in my rig 2 days ago to check the new one. It works perfectly and still has over 4 years left on the warranty. I'm open to any offers you guys have.
Is escrow accepted? I'm in the market for one for my laptop, please give me the offer too

I have been open and upfront that the only reason I registered on this forum is to make this post however that in itself does not make me a scammer. I also have said I will be more than happy to send verification of id/address/salary or anything else as I am not a scammer. I also do understand that only I know this and everything you have said is very valid and I accept the fact I may not get a loan here but it is worth a try, if I do not get one it is not the end of the world however I would save some money if I did.
I know - as I said, I'm paranoid out here lately as the occurance of scams have been blatantly high lately. You could provide a list of information and identity you'll be willing to disclose to the lender and see if the loaners out here would give you one. Kluge, Patrick and co would be the first people on the list to PM also.

If you are serious: -Make a deal with any of the seniors forum member; -Pay them the BTC first; -They pay to your paypal;
It's a fast way to gain reputation.
This +1. There is a lot of people out here with their reputation worth far more then that measly amount of BTC's. Why not trade with one and get him leave feedback? I'm sure the rest of us would be more open and accepting towards what you offer then.

Hi - thanks for your questions and concern which are all very valid. I cannot go to my bank else I would have done that in the first place and not taken out such a high apr loan. It was an emergency so I had to take it out and now I am just trying to lower the interest I am due to pay back. It isnt a problem for me to pay back the loan on the terms I have already agreed however it makes financial sense if I can get this loan to pay it off and save quite a bit of money. I also understand the problem with me being brand new to the forum with a low post count etc but to be honest I dont think post count and member age are that strong ways to score someones trust either. Like I said I am willing to verify my id, provide proof of earnings or anything else you require, only I know I am not going to scam and I understand this.
Sorry to say so, but it looks like the only purpose you've registered in this forum is for this loan. Seriously, Turbor has a point here. Unless someone could do this loan with you physically in person and/or get really creditable information from you (like what the bank does when they give you a loan), there's a high chance that you're only one of those scammers we've met this couple of months here. I might be wrong, but better be safe then sorry here (note:I'm paranoid )

lol i am not desperate enough to send a pic of a shoe on my head lol i am legit and i appreciate its hard to believe but I am - any way i can verify that i will
If your not desperate enough to do that you will not see a loan. Only an idiot is lending 100 BTC to a noob with such a low post count after the latest frauds here. +1 Why should we loan that when you can go to your local bank?

You can try to setup one as the client and have that client feed to the other mining rigs so that it only downloads the block chain once. Thats how mine is setup and i barely notice that issue.
I thought that mining doesn't need to download the blockchain? Unless you're mining solo, that is. For pooled mining, you're essentially sending a couple of kilobytes per second only, hence going over 5GB would be nearly impossible unless you have a mining farm.

"Mining" or hashing is a crytocurrency's base and it solves problems such as the security of the coins within, distribution of the coins to people (How would you deem someone worthy of the coins?) and the case of getting 'paid' for 'working' (else there'll be no value to the coins unless you prepare to back the coins up with your own money). I highly suggest you go read up the Bitcoin fundamentals.

I think we can put this as 'Loan Repayment Coaxer' or something along the lines Maybe 'Loan Recollection Representative' would be better?

I assume you want to start lending coins for income - got to start somewhere. I could loan you 5 coins for a 5.5 payback, but that would take half your capital. There are a few deposit takers around (including myself) and it's a case of looking for what suits.
Maybe not necessarily for income, but I'd like to build my reputation so I could have the option to borrow money if I really need it. If you could loan me 5 coins I will gladly pay back 5.5 bitcoins in 24 hours, my address is in my signature if you are interested i'd like to take up the offer and have sent the 5 btc. (sorry patrick usually people jump in ahead of me... gotta be quick ) bitcoinhero, please repay to 1KJF4eLE12sSZkHP7eDzyYKMy6kGjWYr6A repaid 5.5 btc if anyone wants to lend me another 5btc I will repay 5.5 btc in 24 hours again just send to address in my signature and leave a post this hasn't actually been repaid as far as i can tell. not under a block yet and not in bitcoincharts' list of unconfirmed transactions either. I can confirm that there's no sign of repayment towards that address. Warning!

Do you guys know anything about him in meatspace? I've not loaned him anything but I've wanted to see if bitcoin London would work as an event, and now this...

And step 2: Post at the forums to make a noise loud enough to attract the support people

|

Now I can actually say this ha ha: How we doing for the payback today? *spider sense tingles* I have a bad feeling about this .... It's been like 6 days since he was online

Use the newest beta of AOCLBF. to use a different kernel just copy and overwrite the files in the phak folder with the kernel of your choice. use 2.6 if your using 7xxx card 2.5 if using 6/5xxx...Gui miner is more stable but has less features in my opinion. I think you can solomine the same way u do in phoenix just put in the local address instead of the pool address. but umm anywhoo... DUDE. it just dawned on me how to fix (temp.) the error. Is it possible to have AOCLBF exit and restart itself every 12 24 36 or 48 hrs like an extra setting that you could choose? I know this program is prolly dude for an overhaul since phoenix 2 is out but still. I thik that would put an end to this problem so we can move on to other stuff I run mine with serverdoc, hence if AOCLBF dies it gets restarted with a batch of other important processes.(I double my miner as my server too)

I wouldn't go with solar just to help power your rigs (other reasons sure). Not cost effective. If you want to be efficient and are willing to pay more for equipment, go with FPGAs. Higher upfront cost, but much better MHs/Kw. GPUs you're looking at ~2MH/Watt at best, FPGAs you're looking at ~20MH/Watt. I pull 4GH/s on 250watts at the plug on FPGAs.
By the way, how much does it cost now to get a solar system that can supply 1kw/h of electricity 24/7? I guess batteries wouldn't be practical, so maybe just 1kw of installed power?
I second that, go get FPGA's rather then solar energy. Unless you live in the tropics or somewhere where sunlight is almost guaranteed for most of the year.

Seems like uma thurman from pulp fiction the movie to me. I'd guess it's a screenie at a weird angle.

I'm surprised this isn't selling better... it's far superior (cost wise at least) than any other bitcoin vps out there.
Bump.
Lack of dedicated IPs/ports probably hurts it; that's a feature many people need. One of the reasons I can and I am doing it so cheap, I don't have to pay for extra IPs =P I've updated the VPS count on the OP, 2 and 4 now, I think I'm going to run a small VPS to host like speed test files. Good idea? Yep. Having the need of a good VPS sooner or later here, so I'd be happy to test out speeds on your VPS I meant putting a link on the OP for a download from a node, but if you want a VPS now, I can do that too. I mean exactly that lol. I just need to try download a file from your VPS to test if the latency/download speed is enough

If I could figure out a way to fit like 5-10 in a small cupboard with a cheap netbook without overheating I'd get a bunch of em
