I seriously hopen this happens some day... we've seen 500% spikes occur in the past, but generally on BTC-E or from a glitch. I want to see it happen for real. 20k market order LOL with a billion dollar wall cashing. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

After the "spike" to 490$ on Bitstamp the value is on a (little) downswing... will it stop?
Bitcoin will fall, all of crypto will fall. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F31.media.tumblr.com%2F7cfbaf069bfabd39fb173683d9ae6493%2Ftumblr_mqi60gJ0qr1ritr1so3_r1_500.gif&t=663&c=Rl54OuhV2lZUaA)

like i said, Huobi needs time to consolidate, there's a big battle to be had for 3,000.
Bitstamp and Bitfinex both proved their power by buying out similar sized walls easily and in big chunks. The reason i hate that we follow China is they don't seem to have the power to buy as big. They do have bigger volume but there's rarely ever a buy over 200btc, it's just thousands of small trades over and over because of the 0 fees. That's why it's so frustrating to see us follow them, when clearly we have the bigger and more powerful traders.
Just open a 10x leveraged long position on OKCoin, that way you can move with some volume in there ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) lol, thats not crazy, nope, not at all. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) can i leverage BTC's to go long? i have no fiats.... YESSSS!!! interesting.

The network targets 10 minutes for one confirmation. But it's usually less than that. For small transactions you don't need it anyway. Nobody is going to spend the mining resources trying to double spend a small transaction. They'd lose money. So for transactions that cost less than the average cost to mine a block, it's safe to go with zero confirmations.
One could launch a transaction that will forever be at non-confirmed status, so no need to mine a block. How much would it cost? the blockchain will instantly show ( double spend ) too... even I thought up of a trick to make even 0 confirmations TX nearly 100% safe in 10 seconds no matter what. these minor things are going to get solved, in an elegant way when the time comes. just keep fapping....

apple pay... is going to flop.
I can't even use it, because its for US only
I can't use receive 1$ payments because it will cost 5$ in fee to do so
I can't use it to send money to africa because ...well idk why not...
I can't use it as a hedged its USD's
I'm sure the user interface will literally be 1 button "BUY NOW!", and this is very wow, but i dont care...
I can't believe i feel compelled to state such obviousness...
Since I'm lazy, how long do transactions take with bitcoin? 7 mins or something for the recommended # confirmations IIRC; so.. can this ever get faster or slower? I think we'd all agree thats a bit slower than it should be. Other than that Bitcoin is incredible as a payment system. do i have to send you a beer? its instant!

205 new shorts opened, and immediately dumped at market.
What does that mean? It means 1/3 of the coins sold on Bfx during this mini-drop came from newly opened shorts. IMO, the drops have been small for the last 24 hours, indicating the shorts are unsure about their positions. what no one told them iFapHarder is going to be GOOOD

This Apple pay service looks good, very fast transactions (not waiting around 30 minutes to buy your buckwheat smoothie while the vendor waits for the transaction to confirm) and best of all, your credit card number is completely safe because it is encrypted in the software, and Apple uses a one time randomly generated pass for each transition. Even if you lose your phone, your credit card number is safe.
tl;dr .... basically, every perceived benefit of bitcoin has been destroyed
does this mean you're going to leave us alone? for good.
