Firstly I go like congratulate our brother for that side for taking this bold steps. Nigeria just dey disappoint me, abi dem no understand the power of first mover advantage. We for dun seized this opportunity use bring attention to the county. Already company dey run away from nigeria to other African countries and if we no do something fast we fit lose our stand as the Africa giant.

We get plenty start up wey dey look for country wey dey friendly to the industry to based and this go definitely bring job opportunities and revenue. Also this go bring about enlightenment to the country and this now all Nigeria dey miss by not been friendly to the industry. With all this hostility to the industry in the country by law enforcement agency and government yet we still dey on top now imagine there was some friendly to the industry, just imagine where we for dey. Nigeria need adopt bitcoin and they need to do am fast.
My brother how tinz, two day we no hear from ur side for this we way hop say every bam bam. Back to the matter of companies relocating from 9ja to other African countrie the thing tire me oooo for waiten you want make those companies do when there is no enabling environment for their business to grow, the one were tire me be say while Ghana ban use of other currencies within there country, foreign airlines for 9ja no dey collect naira only dollars can be used for payment for air tickets this obviously show the extent 9ja have fallen in international recognition. Our currency is dead and among the worst globally.
6522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: May 19, 2022, 02:09:21 PM
@Bukele’s tweet about some of the Central Bank and financial authorities meeting in El Salvador may have misled us as to the purpose of the meeting per se: According to the information in the below GT links, the Central Bank of Paraguay has issued a statement to reflect that the focus of the meeting is not a cryptocurrency, nor are they interested in the matter.

Well this statement is born out of the stance of Paraguay 🇵🇾 on cryptocurrency, and as a matter of fact, the central bank official is just being diplomatic, yeah the meeting is to discuss financial inclusion which indirectly covers Bitcoin in El Salvador since bitcoin is already made legal currency in El Salvador 🇸🇻 the tweet may have oversold the Bitcoin aspect but then since President Bukele is the host he may as well make use of whatever term he wants so long as it within his legal right.
6523  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: May 19, 2022, 12:49:23 PM
Also to mind off that signature campaigns arent permanent therefore its just dumb that you would really be that relying your living into that.
Yeah, I get the realities of my scenario as they'd probably play out in real life, including the fact that nobody's sure how long sig campaigns are going to exist.
The Pharmacist is already I king so even if the signature campaign is wiped off the forum he will still leave up as a Whale king in up to 50 countries around the world most especially in Africa with a nice apartment, and steadily electricity with solar installation as back up power supply located on a hilltop view city center.
6524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causing victim to scam his family on: May 18, 2022, 07:54:03 PM
Was the man playing online or at land based casino? If he was going at a physical casino, does it make sense he had to have an account in order to be able to play?

How was the approach of Boyle Sports when offering and tempting him with 50$ free bet promotions? Was it done presentially, through phone calls or email messages? Well, he could have recorded the casino employee tempting him and denounce the gambling house to the responsible authority or just block the email of the casino to stop receiving messages from them. It's shocking it happened during 2 whole years and this gambler didn't have any conscious moment to take action against the issue and to stop abusing the victim.

I think the article lacks further evidences and details needed to help us reach a more accurate conclusion regards this case. Anyway, I don't see this gambler with good eyes, because he caused prejudice to his acquaintance, what means he has no consideration for other people besides himself. For me he looks like a dangerous person for this reason. Moreover, once he got caught he just tried to get rid of the consequences by blaming someone else for his actions (the casino in this case).
I think the man is playing in an online casino because from the article the casino sent him an email with a promotional offer and the man option to go back into gambling, of course, everyone wants free $50 to bet but then one needs self-control. But the act to avoid gambling addiction should be the responsibility of the player, and if the user has an option for self withdrawal and the casino still send him a promotional offer it means the casino is at fault.
6525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 18, 2022, 12:50:10 PM

What klopp did against southampton yesterday was quite risky, because now they are one points behind manchester city in the standings with one game remaining, even though it's hard to championship but still liverpool must be able to win all the matches while hoping if manchester city slips in their last game, I think Klopp courage to take the risk to play the reserve squad deserves appreciation even though actually against Southampton is an important match to stay in the English league title competitor, I think when Southampton managed to score the first goal of course the Liverpool fans were quite shocked at that time but fortunately, the players Liverpool bounced back and could end the match with a 1-2 win while keeping their chances of winning the English league.
Liverpool yesterday performed exceptionally from leading behind with a goal difference the players were able to get the stride together pressing to equalize and thereafter making an extra 1 goal score, Southampton players became less energetic after scoring the first goals instead of locking their defenses.
6526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kwik Trip To Install 800 New Bitcoin ATM on: May 18, 2022, 11:07:17 AM
If you impose KYC for all values and the trader moves on to the Peer to Peer exchange, then was KYC even necessary at all?

-
Regards,
privacy
That is correct apart from charging higher fees than exchange Bitcoin ATMs most require KYC and that is a big drawback for criminals or anyone who wants privacy this is even a no go area for a corrupt politician who wants to launder money through cryptocurrency, apart from the increase in Bitcoin adoption that Bitcoin ATM brings I don't see any positive impact on the Bitcoin ecosystem and decentralization which includes privacy protection.
6527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: May 18, 2022, 10:08:06 AM
To me, this looks like a banquet for rich people to meet, chat and have fun. I hope this won't be just a meeting of higher ranks to discuss what they already know and make no new steps towards adoption.
Regardless of what the topic of discussion may be, having the Central bank executives from various countries around the globe assembling ole objective Bitcoin either it for just discussion or some financial policy analysis and regulations framework the advantage is President Bukele is trying to create a platform for Bitcoin connection with the centralized institutions and also putting policy into action since the conference is going on in the Bitcoin Beach we're paying for services around the venue of the conference are done with Bitcoin but attendees can choose to use the dollar anyways.
6528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's all about HODLing on: May 18, 2022, 08:32:12 AM
Maybe that's why I am into the Bitcoin discussion section  Roll Eyes

But if you talk about cryptocurrencies you seem to be including the nearly 20,000 altcoins which are not worth HODLing.
You are absolutely correct, when you want to hodling one need to be specific and hodle the right coin that is less volatile and somewhat stable such as Bitcoin even though bitcoin is highly volatile Bitcoin remains the best coin for hodling unlike some altcoins that can go from $80 to $0.50 overnight their not good for hodling but speculations. Hoddle BTC with steel hands and you never get disappointed.
6529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 17, 2022, 10:35:58 PM
No matter what Liverpool plays at this stage is impossible for them to take the premier league this season I guess the club should just rely on settling for the second position since Manchester City only have the premier league to clinch this season haven't lost out of the champion league.
6530  Economy / Gambling / Re: Create a TIVIT.BET casino Copycat on: May 17, 2022, 06:58:06 PM
Having someone develop a copycat of the TIVIT site with the same functions without the permission of the original owner will render your effort useless since your site will be abusing copyright law. So as others may have suggested get in touch with the original owner to get the right license approval either from them directly or from their game providers.
6531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kwik Trip To Install 800 New Bitcoin ATM on: May 17, 2022, 06:38:41 PM
800 new Bitcoin ATMs with a 11% charges in fees.

It would have been an overly great news if it weren't for the 11% fees.
That's too much, especially as I expect KYC also become - sooner or later - mandatory for all amounts, hence even more premium as taxes.
Exactly my concerns on Bitcoin ATMs even though most Bitcoin ATMs require KYC it also charges high fees even more than exchanges, apart from the part on their side it is privacy-conscious in this I think their may not require KYC for now but may be soon KYC will become mandatory.
6532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Kwik Trip To Install 800 New Bitcoin ATM on: May 17, 2022, 04:58:35 PM
Bitcoin ATMs have become one of the booming businesses around the cryptocurrency business environment lately aside from the fact that Bitcoin ATMs make accessibility of Bitcoin easier for users who want to transact in private and to remain anonymous. Bitcoin ATM operators charges higher fees even more than exchanges which is why most digital assets company dive into the thriving new business by operating a Bitcoin ATM kiosk all around with the latest being Kwik trip a convenience store base in Wisconsin in collaboration with coinsource a taxas based cryptocurrency firm to established 800 new Bitcoin ATMs but the 11% charges in fees, it becomes a major turn off to most Bitcoin users but on a general note 800 Bitcoin ATM is a good move to Bitcoin adoption.

This idea sounds great and you have indeed blessed humanity.
Congratulations on your avatar sig, and thank you for making those suggestions I have indeed thought of that and am working on several possible ways to assist the participants in such a way that it will keep them motivated but most importantly I can only concentrate on those that have self motivations to learn and build knowledge on blockchain and cryptocurrency. One of the ways I try motivating them, for now, is to give students 3 hours after class free internet to research and learn every day and I can say this has helped a few forks you are judiciously utilizing the window.
6534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Luna CEO Taking Lone walk To Luna 2.0 on: May 16, 2022, 09:42:45 PM

The LUNAtic community have been thrown into distress in the late hours of Monday when the CEO of the stable coin DO KWONthat faced the biggest attack in cryptocurrency history in the last week when Luna market price crashed below the trench hold resulting in heavy losses to the stable coin holders, the community hope was beginning to see some light when some top cryptocurrency investors and experts e.g CZ CEO binance and the rest made suggestion of a burn and by a back mechanism in other for luna to make a bounce back. But the LUNA community was disappointed this evening when the CEO announced that the coin will change the chain and forking of the coin many see this as a waste of developers' funds and also minting new coin that will result in a loss of the value of Luna.

Luna 2.0 version will this succeed or it will further destroy the stable coin value I do not think what the CEO (DO KWON) is prescribing will give a lasting solution to the LUNA network.

6535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 16, 2022, 08:10:01 PM
Salah is becoming a legend. Still, I don't think he will ever be compared to players like Messi and Ronaldo, who were still at a higher level than Salah. Salah is very important to Liverpool, more important than Messi and Ronaldo to their teams at the moment. At the moment I also rate Benzema a bit higher than Salah. I expect more of that in the final as well.
I think Salah is a top player and undoubtedly he has been great for Liverpool since joining them but labeling him the best player in the world is out of place imo. Salah is not in the same level with Benzema and to be honest I think if not for preference in the club, Sadio Mane may arguably be better than him.
LMO Salah is undoubtedly a good player and a big asset to Liverpool but calling him the best player in the world is an exaggerated statement because Salah is not fit into that position just like Santopricess said there are other players who a far better than Salah and can deliver more at any point.
6536  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 15, 2022, 04:45:28 PM
If what I read is correct, this only serves to demonstrate how foolish the CBN is and how little they care about the growth of crypto currency in the country; these new regulations only serve to expose their main reason for banning banks from participating in crypto transactions: it was all about money, not because crypto posed a threat to our local fiat and banking system. Instead of this dreadful new regulation requiring vendors to register with a ridiculous amount before using a bank for crypto transactions, they could have added extra charges to all bank crypto-related charges as a crypto tax.

What made them think we would pay such a high fee to conduct business with banks? Isn't this something we're already doing?  Man it's a lost battle... This CBN governor no get single sense for head, the same idiot want to contest for the presidency.
What is most important is the part the regulation stated that fees are charged from vendors who want to make their cryptocurrency transaction official and want to operate in that context, but the new regulation is silent on decentralized cryptocurrency transactions such as p2p so we are so good as a decentralized community but the ambit is on cryptocurrency freedom within the country and if centralized vendor such as Luno and Patricia e.t.c want to operate a cooperate organization their free to pay that fee and become a legal payment gateway system. It's left for the crypto user to either choose between decentralized and capitalization.

New Topic: SEC ISSUE NEW CRYPTOCURRENCY REGULATION IN 🇳🇬 NIGERIA

CBN MOVE FROM BAN TO REGULATIONS OF CRYPTO
Some good news coming from the security and exchange commission(SEC) in Nigeria as the government gives out guidelines that will serve as a template that will guide the cryptocurrency transactions and service. As the quest for cryptocurrency adoption 4 9ja keep advancing the new regulation law was made known to the public on Friday 13th of May 2022 this is a big relief to the 9ja crypto community even though the guideline does not include full flesh cryptocurrency adoption bit at list give cryptocurrency users in 9ja the clue to what the country law is as regards cryptocurrency transaction.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday released a new regulation for the cryptocurrency market in Nigeria.

While it is the first of its kind in Africa, the SEC regulation is coming without an exposure draft. Usually, important guidelines like the New Rules on Issuance, Offering Platforms, and Custody of Digital Assets as the regulation is titled, are preceded by an exposure draft.

An exposure draft is an early version of a document that has been released to the public for comments. Following a sufficient period of time for public comments to be received and further consideration by the originator of the document, a final version is released.

6539  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Bet: A wider Array of Altcoins are being usef on: May 14, 2022, 10:40:23 PM
As the gambling industry keeps growing the rate of cryptocurrency online gambling has increased significantly lately since 2018-to 2022 the number of cryptocurrency gambling has multiplied in a significant proportion and Bitcoin has the highest figure when it comes to cryptocurrency usage on online casinos. There is no doubt that many crypto gambling sites are developing their native altcoin tokens that are used on their platform which allow for a wide range of advantages over Bitcoin usage on such gambling sites and with the Bitcoin scalability set back some gambling sites choose to use such altcoin for faster and cheaper transactions.

We are indeed legging behind.
All no deposit bonuses are closed from last few days.
We will reactive the bonuses but it will take time.
We still have deposit issue, withdrawal issues.
The are many more updates to come which I will share once we have everything in order.
Good to see that they are really accepting these mistakes and trying out to improve their selves which is really a good indication that they are really serious with the business.

@Royse, Is there some tentative date or schedule on where it could be possible fixed in overall in terms with the current issues that the site is experiencing?
They had made out some good entrance when they had started the marketing into this forum but well unfortunate and unexpected things
could really happen on the way.
Yeah, I see the recent setback for BitLucy as just a temporary set back and the site is going to make it out stronger and better quite a good number of users who have tried out have confessed positive vibes from the site and have confessed how professional the site is and we will love to see that positive spirit on to build a good reputation both in this forum and the entire gambling communities. I believe the abuse of the bonuses system by cheaters is the only major issue recorded in the start-up of the site and am hoping the team is working on a way to fix that issue.
