6521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: September 17, 2019, 04:41:31 PM
Everyone should think of day trading like a sidejob and not something they do for living. You are forgetting that there are TONS of people who are single and not married or do not go outside as much as others (and they may not even want to, introverts are actually really chill people) and that is why they spend time at home after work hours.

Some watch netflix, some read books, some play video games, and some of them actually trade, not a huge number of people for sure but there are those people and that is why I honestly think that those people who work and earn a salary could potentially do day trading at home when they get a chance and that is not a bad call, sure they may end up losing money but if they are smart and not risk too much they are still ahead of people who gamble during their free time.
6522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with ERC20 tokens when ICO gone REKT? on: September 17, 2019, 02:16:07 PM
I guess there is really nothing to do with them, if you want you can trash them by sending it to some fake address or just make a giveaway (dunno if anyone would want a worthless coin in a giveaway) or just ask if anyone wants and send them the coins. Now if you do not want to get rid of them but they are worthless then all you can do is wait and hope that they will worth something one day, otherwise they are literally just worthless coins not covering any space in your life.

I have bunch of them, I own 100k of a coin that suppose to worth 50 thousand dollars but right now it doesn't even worth 100 dollars I just keep it just in case somehow it gets bigger again. Not like it actually physically takes up space in your wallet or something, it is digital numbers so just let them be.
6523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when a coin reaches the maximum supply??? on: September 17, 2019, 08:30:54 AM
I actually never seen a coin that had max supply from PoW starting to point. There are tons of coins that were pre-mined heavily and they are literally just given back to community so that people would buy and increase the price but the team that pre-mined the coin is actually making the most profit out of that currency.

So, if it is a PoW coin or PoS coin and finishes the supply then two things happen ; One is no more mined currency, market will have the same amount of coins all the time which is why nobody will be able to pour in new coins into the market and the price will be greatly affected, second one is miners who used to help the transactions be quick has to stay otherwise the transactions will get stuck, they make money from the transaction fee's, probably not as much but still something.
6524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHANGE, the only thing that's Constant on: September 17, 2019, 07:02:14 AM
Crypto investments in the form of ICO is dropping but at the same time there are other stuff invested in bitcoin all the time. For example there are a lot of investments to dapps by large companies, there has been big companies buying out crypto companies like circle and poloniex.

Investments come in every form and shape, people do investments into coins, into new tokens or into companies, into ideas, they invest into every possible stuff and that is why I really do not think that people realize how much investment goes in bitcoin world. It is not statistic and we can maybe find it if we calculate ALL markets and investment options but that is literally gonna take months to do and in those months things will change and your data will be old anyway. So, just check around how investments somewhere goes low but goes higher in some other places.
6525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Blocks US Customers - Where Will Crypto Traders Go Now? on: September 16, 2019, 03:05:46 PM
There is already a huge number of them in coinbase, I doubt they move anywhere from there, the people who liked altcoins could move to poloniex easily, even tho it doesn't have that much coins listed and doesn't have too much volume, it is still owned by a national bank in USA which means all the due diligence must have been done before they bought the company. They may not get all the new hot stuff but when it comes to big currencies like ethereum or ripple they will be capable of getting it back and forth from poloneix to coinbase very easily.

It is not the optimal choice of trading but at least they have a choice that is safe and secure for them. Us people who do not live in USA and don't have those kinds of places have found a way to figure it out years ago and have been involved ever since.
6526  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jackbit | PVP Gambling - Free Coins - Fair - Fast & Secure on: September 16, 2019, 01:21:25 PM
Honestly, this is the best marketing I have seen for a casino that is not even opened yet. Don't get me wrong surely there are other places who have been in operation for far longer that has managed to make better and bigger marketing but for a casino that has 1-2 months to be fully operational, with the graphics and designs and gifs etc, this has been by far has been the biggest marketing attempt I have ever seen.

Let's hope that these guys get a lot of customers from the get go because we are really deserving of a place that actually puts community above anything else and a place that does marketing months ahead means that they care about the community and wants to establish one. I really hope to see them starting and making a name for themselves quickly.
6527  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: September 15, 2019, 05:45:05 PM
Inflation is not only due to the sale of minerals, but because the country that sold its resources does not see this money because it settles in the pockets of officials who do not want to develop business in their countries by building new enterprises and giving their people new work.
It is just known that there are enough resources for everyone in the world. Don't get me wrong I am not going to go full communist on you and tell you that everyone should own a lambo of their own, this is not like that. However, if people are starving to death then saying maybe we have enough resources not to let that happen is not communism.

People should learn the difference between helping people out and communism, if you are helping people not starve to death, you can still be capitalist, it is literally just food so they can live some more instead of die, otherwise keep making your Tesla cars and sell them months ahead of schedule in pre-order or keep making your workers work 16 hours a day in a warehouse without extra pay for extra profits of your amazon share holders, those capitalist horrible stuff could still go on (hopefully they shouldn't) but at least make sure people are not hungry.

It comes to nation to nation helps, if a country is too poor to stay alive like Venezuela and Yemen has been going through and people are literally losing weight because they can't find anything to eat, then other nations should send all their extra foods to there.
6528  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: September 15, 2019, 04:54:50 PM
Time is the most important part of this. We are talking about countless trillion dollars worth of sector here and that market can't change into blockchain over time, even if they really want to, even if they agree to, there is really no possible way to actually move to blockchain before 5 years, even the highest amount of investments to it and hiring thousands of people to it, the earliest we can have blockchain on banks fully is 5 years, possibly a lot more.

Now, think how they will want to slowly transition instead of rushing into it and you can understand why it will take at least a decade to move there. That is why I honestly believe that if given enough time, banks already like blockchain, they see it as a great feature for their banks, its just gonna take some time.
6529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 15, 2019, 04:19:41 PM
Spain played so well, Argentina wasn't bad neither and they tried their best but Spain literally played their game without dropping off the system ever. That is what makes world cup so great, if you play your game then you win if you go off rails even once then you start to lose by a lot, that is why there is so much momentum and so many comebacks in fiba world cup, if you give the other team the ball and let them play their game, it is easy to get 18-4 run on you.

Spain didn't let that happen because they didn't left the rails ever and give Argentina a tough time all game. It is still such an awesome story for Argentina, Scola is 39 years old and he played so amazingly that you may think he is a great future NBA potential for a second. All around it was a great tournament, I have enjoyed it so much.
6530  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loteo - Daily & Weekly Lottery | Instant Games | Instant Transactions on: September 15, 2019, 02:54:59 PM
--snip--
Honestly, it was exactly the same, I have played on both places, the other one I forgot the name and I tried to find it for half an hour and checked everywhere that could have been but I couldn't find the topic about it, maybe they deleted it I don't know.

However, I remember vividly how the game was and I also played here as well and I can tell you it was EXACTLY the same, that is why I am saying that there was a similar one, not because I kindly saw something like this, no I vividly remember it was exactly the same. Still, it was same in gameplay, the all other details are looking quite different and the graphics are quite different as well. The deal is there is really no problem with competition (even tho other one is already gone so no competition), there could be a place exactly same as loteo one day, competition is healthy for the customer.
6531  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loteo - Daily & Weekly Lottery | Instant Games | Instant Transactions on: September 14, 2019, 01:39:20 PM
There was another website with about the same logic, they had per minute lottery, per hour, per day, per week, per month and per year as the latest if I am not wrong, they did a beta and only allowed people to play with fake money and not real, they couldn't find a big increase in user numbers during the beta and gave up I believe.

If you guys insist on this, I know it will have very small and tiny numbers at first and that will look bad for you because you are basically required to have a lot of people buying tickets to keep this up but I am sure in the end you will get more and more people and finally hit to a number that is actually fun to gamble. Be careful about the affiliate people tho, freebitcoin had trouble with it on their lottery section, don't remember what the problem was but you can ask them yourself.
6532  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: September 13, 2019, 05:40:55 PM
Those bad economies in small countries that have high inflation is not doing that because they would like to try their hand at being starving to death.

Those countries are forced for that because big countries take advantage of those places like a slave, they pay peanut money for their products and labor and all that and if you stop doing it because of price then they will go to another one, there are only a few huge nations whereas there are over hundred small tiny nations that could be exploited. Venezuela was loved by USA until they started to meddle with Oil prices and actually use it as a threat, you can't threaten USA with oil, those dudes literally went to war across the globe just to get some more oil from Iraq for Christ sake.

As long as big economies keep crushing small ones the inflation there will continue to go up.
6533  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: September 13, 2019, 04:56:03 PM
Blockchain may increase some transparency in government but that is a big if, I doubt it will ever happen, think about it these people literally make billions of dollars combined from screwing the public and making a profit for themselves. There is no way we can convince those people to use blockchain and make everything paper thin so we can see it as well and know where our money goes, from you paying your taxes to where that money ends up, you can literally keep track of everything, they can't let that happen.

However, if we assume just for fun, then we are talking about billions of dollars of corruption all going back to people and eventually taxes will go down and services will go up, you will both pay less and still get more in return of your less taxes. That would boost the economy like crazy.
6534  Economy / Gambling / Re: Creating a Daily Fantasy Site on: September 13, 2019, 04:07:51 PM
Daily fantasy websites do not make money because of house edge, they take rake, so they are not even risking any money. Just to give an example, places like primedice put up their own money against gamblers money and in the end because of the house edge they end up profiting in the long run, they may lose money to you but they usually win it from someone else and that equals to them making money.

However, here there is no way a fantasy website loses money, there is no one they are going against, they literally put up no money at all, they are just raking the money that was put up in the pot, like poker games. Hence this is a safer gambling for everyone involved, not a great deal of attention to fantasy games in the world but if you can market it well enough then you can make money.
6535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: September 13, 2019, 08:52:08 AM
There are very few ones but they are getting attention once again. ICO may not be legit but if the question is the coin offerings then IEO seems to be popular once again. If you look at how much they are getting funded once again you will realize that the bad part of ICO has ended and the coin offerings are once again getting money.

There was one IEO in binance for a while that literally got funded 100 million dollars in couple hours, not even days which means the demand for new coins are still there. Don't get me wrong coins might be horrible coins and they might not end up being anything at all however the reality is that people want to fund those and get cheap coins and then sell it as soon as they hit the exchange so they can make profit, they are not after anything else.
6536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP and BCH on: September 13, 2019, 08:09:51 AM
These are literally the last two coins I would ever put my money into, people who support these coins are either profiting from it or they are idiots there is no other possible explanation of supporting these coins.

First of all you have XRP which is basically pre-mined beforehand and controlled by the company by the millions, they have so much of it that they can literally change the currency and have even more of it if they want to, the only response to centralization acquisitions they have is "if we sell it all then we would destroy our own currency, why would we want to do that", well I don't want to figure out why you would want it, its not a risk I would take.

On the other hand we have BCH which is basically fake bitcoin, they did it just so that they could use some of their mining power to make more profit and there is literally no other use-case for it at all.
6537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New historical weekly high of $236M in ICO and IEO market on: September 13, 2019, 07:26:07 AM
The IEO hype will die down eventually, just like ICO died down because that is the nature of people realizing they won't be making profits as much as they imagined. There have been some great ROI for people who got in early, however there is a limit to how much "great projects" there could be out there, eventually there will be some bad ones and people will invest and start to lose money and they will stop investing and the funding for the new ones will get smaller and smaller until eventually it becomes like the current IEO.

Obviously, there is always some great ones that come up time to time and even on ICO there are still a great one once in a long while but it will stop being common and that will result with weekly highs being lower and lower eventually.
6538  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: September 12, 2019, 05:43:55 PM
Last thing: I don't believe we should bash this promo against a signature campaign. EOSBet can do them both, even at the same time if they want. All I care about is is it working in terms of volume on the platform that turn into dividends in my wallet  Grin
Signature campaign can't be done for couple weeks tho, I mean if they will do some sort of signature campaign they should find a way to sustain it as well, they are making money the more people join so maybe they can make some sort of affiliate link for themselves and then make people use that on their signatures, that way they will know how much money they are making from the affiliate link and the signature campaign and they can adjust how much they should pay accordingly as well. That way you have certain amount of money coming in and certain amount of money going out and if they are about equals then you can continue, if you spend more than you earn then you can slowly stop it, just stop paying for smaller ranks first and then stop all together if its not making any profit.
6539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 12, 2019, 05:27:55 PM
sometimes small profits are only considered as one of the producers of losses. but i don't think that's right. now if we can be more diligent, I think with small profits if managed properly and can also continue to provide large profits, the most important thing is to be consistent in trading so that it provides profit
The best part of bitcoin trading is the small profits. Hell I started with small profits, my first ever profit on crypto trading was 11 dollars. That was a lot of money for me because I honestly believed that I was making free money, yes I know right now I realize it was never free money and trading is not making money out of nothing etc etc but I was new and I didn't know anything so I thought that was free money and I can do it forever and never have to work.

Of course, I learned the truth later but that small profit idea never left my mind. That "could I make 10 bucks a day on average" never left my mind and I have been chasing that ever since. I can't average that much but I am not really doing bad neither, it is going well but as well as I would hope so Cheesy.
6540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Centralized and Decentralized. on: September 12, 2019, 04:11:28 PM
Centralized basically means that something is in the control of one entity, it could be one person or it could be one company but it is under their control to do whatever they want, they can print more of it, they can revert back the transactions, they have full power over that thing which is centralized. Whereas decentralized means, once it is created and out of creators hands, it can't be changed in any way possible, you can be satoshi nakomoto and even you can't change anything about bitcoin which is why people like the decentralized ones better.

Our current economy is centralized, it is governed by the people at the top and they do whatever they want with it, bitcoin and many crypto is not like that, for example there is max 21 million bitcoins and it can never be 20 or 22.
