I don't think that wiill happen, But it's not possible for other cryptocurrency to replace btc. There are cryptocurrency can beat bitcoins but as of now there is no existing altcoin that can beat btc.
They are called as altcoins for a reason, bitcoin is the original and the most popular, they will only replace bitcoin when people who are supporting bitcoin will transfer their funds to something new, however with the current situation, it seems like there is no chance that an altcoins can beat bitcoins. Check on the daily volume as that explains a lot, BCH has recently surged but now it's back to its place where it should be. |

How quickly bitcoin has recovered, lucky are those who were able to buy bitcoins when the price hits the range of $5,000.
Now, the price is back to $7,000 and it's moving fast so I think people are still not selling their bitcoins waiting for it to reach $8000 to create another ATH. Just as always good ICOs are worth investing in. I myself have profited a little so far but am still only learning how to pick the ones that are really worth it.
The thing is we cannot ensure that it's a good project until it has delivered based on their road map and white paper. I just heard this from you, then !! it really surprised me when a good thing like bitcoin is in use for things like this. But also can not be denied with the internet technology of this technology everyone can access online whatever they want.
It's already rampant I guess, bitcoin is very popular and online business who are not registered especially this porn business can operate porn accepting bitcoin, that way they can easily collect the payment and customers feel comfortable as they do not have to give their information. We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Corruption by greedy people but not by government, yes. It is evident because there are many investment sites that promises high profit, high return of invested btc in just a short period of time. It is like 10% interest on your btc everyday. That percentage is really big that is why many will invest. After awhile or just before a month, it will turn out to be a scam. That's another thing I guess, HYIP has already created a bad reputation and investors are not really investing it hoping for a long term success but they just want to gamble with the short term and hoping they can get their ROI with a little profit and just leave the HYIP. Maybe when bitcoin was still new there are a lot of victims with this kind of scams but people are much wiser now. |

You can't erase that reality, when bitcoin is on pump usually altcoins holders are transferring their money to benefit on the run. In order for a certain altcoin to pump they need to make a big announcement but usually they do not do it on a timing that bitcoin is on the run because the risk is big that it might not being appreciated because of the power of bitcoin. I dont think in this time it wont,bitcoin is really on top and will stay on top for couple of years.but we dont know if what will happen in the next years.if bitcoin cash can go upto the bitcoin stage.i dont say that bcc cant.but it may in a long run.for now lets respect that btc is really in top

Is Lebron finally getting too old too carry these teams. I honestly thought this year would be the same as last, Golden state and Cavs would clear through the regular season dominating everyone. Meet in the championship and that would be that. I did not see the Cavs losing this much this early. Granted its still early but I think they are going to slow down this year..

We can see that even he gained age, he is not the type of player who will have a poor performance in majority of his season career. As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?
The biggest risk is that price will go down even further if you buy now and hold. Long term holding is for true believer and for very long period of time (at least 5 years). If you can afford to buy and wait for at least five years without touching your coins, you can do that... The price will go down at any time but you have to be positive and expect it will rise again. When you invest for long term purpose then you should think of the future, the daily price volatility will just destroy your focus, you need to trust the power of bitcoin in order for your to surpass the trials in being a long term investor. In the end, those who are willing to hold will always reap a big reward and we all want that. |

How true is this? is it gonna happen soon?, or maybe there's other exchanges that is destined for RCC like Binance.
i think if bittrex still very dificult can added in there but if binance posible, another alternative binanace, maybe can added to hitbtc Binance has a great volume and if it's possible for RCC to be traded in Binance then we might not need Bittrex on that matter. I think people are slowly transferring to Binance due to the issue before that they are closing accounts without warning, when there are complains trading sites slowly loses reputation like Poloniex. Recently, Bittrex also have problem like Poloniex exchange, you can see there are many cases lose money or get block account can not unblock until today. So, honestly, I do not trust any exchange unless decentralized exchange like EtherDelta or directly exchange  Etherdelta i think very hard to access it on smartphone and this coin can't growing if only in etherdelta. Sooner or later those two big exchange will solved their problem because if not, customers will move to other exchange We have to live with the present and now decentralized exchange is not yet very popular. Exchanges will bigger volume will make this project to prosper more, I have seen a lot of project which were listed in big exchanges and despite the fact that product are yet to be delivered, they already gain attention form traders because people love to speculate. |

I am Filipino. Good news to us filipino that bank of philippines recognize the bitcoin. Becasue it is big help to us using bitcoin,although some of filipino not recognize or know the bitcoin. But someday if their a chance that here in philippines using bitcoin to buy some stuff or buy our needs I think all filipino use bitcoin forever.
There no such thing as forever, bitcoin might be the best online currency now but we can expect more useful online currency will be develop. Due to the popularity of bitcoin the Philippine government already recognizes it but I haven't seen any concrete guidelines yet stating that they fully regulated bitcoin, the big news that I know is that they issued permits to exchanges sites which one is the coins.ph. |

How difficult is it to distribute the bounty correctly? I believe we are not talking of a simple reward related question. Investors should just know how Change is handling the bounty distribution. I understand why the bounty hunters are posting in the ANN thread, they know that it should not be done since ANN thread are suppose to be discussing the development of the project and the reason why we have a bounty thread because it's only dedicated for bounty related concerns. However, this mess situation brought their aggressiveness to seek for the right amount of bounty, you cannot blame them, they just want fairness. |

When do you stop?
I stop my gambling session when i manage to quadruple the amount that i have deposited on a site and take a break for a day or two. Do you have a daily limit or something?
I have no daily limits but i control myself in betting no more than dust amounts. I have only gradually learned to control myself in gambling. Earlier it was difficult to stop. But I managed to overcome myself and now, even when I lose, I do not hurry to recoup. You are starting to get matured in gambling, understanding the risk of making bad decisions which will lead to losing a big money will help you decide to accept your loses and just move on. With that you can surely have the entertainment you are looking for, because you are now more focus on the fun and that greediness aiming for big reward will be eliminated in your mind. |

Until we see the block swap available and some good exchanges for ETT, yes we have to forget the current situation of ETT and wait for the good time to come. 2017 year has been the worse for this project and hope 2018 does bring some good news at the start. Let's hope for that to happen, they have surely made a great improvement this year but not big enough for the eyes of the people. If we sell we are not making any profit since the price is very low now and who would buy when the volume is very low, just keep the patience and wait for the right time ETT will pump as it's due for a success in the future. |
