6541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen If I want to invest bitcoin before the another fok the bitcoingold? on: October 10, 2017, 04:32:48 AM
There are two things that will happen when you buy bitcoin and hold it for the fork.
1. You will get equivalent amount of free BTG as much as your BTC investment.
2. After the fork increase/decrease in price will increase/decrease your capital investment.
You should have bought BTC a few days ago when the price was a bit low. The price of Bitcoin has started to increase rapidly and will rise further more. Although you can buy it now since the price will increase more but you could have bought it for lower price earlier.
6542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: October 09, 2017, 10:37:47 AM
I read their whole project and why they have made the new coin. If there is a valid reason for creating such coin only then I proceed further because I know that if the coin doesn't have any reason to be created then it won't stick around for more time. Then comes the research about the company, where they are from, the developers, their abilities and personalities etc... The ICOs are also a good way to know whether a coin will be successful one. See the results of their ICOs and you will know whether to invest in it or not.
6543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can you keep your BTC to get the free airdrop of BTC gold? on: October 09, 2017, 10:29:29 AM
If I store BTC in my electrum wallet and then import private key in the BTC Gold wallet, will I get those coins ?
Can anyone help me please.
Most probably the answer is Yes. But I recommend you to read the whole procedure as to how to import the private key to get the free BTG.
Just holding the BTC will make you eligible to claim your free BTG. I would suggest you to keep your BTC on trusted exchanges such as Bittrex as it would easier to sell the BTG once we get it. If you are planning to hold BTG for long term then holding the BTC in electrum wallet will be a good choice.
Backup your private key and then import it once the hard fork is done.
6544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hold BTC or Buy Altcoins - Hard fork on: October 09, 2017, 10:20:49 AM
So the hard fork is near and it must be difficult for beginners to what to choose. I am myself confused what to do.
Vote your choice and see the results and share your opinions on the fork.
Obviously everybody would want to make this opportunity a profitable one by increasing the capital. So what do you think would be more profitable out of the given options.
6545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins grow up in the future! on: October 09, 2017, 10:07:54 AM
I think OMG would rise up good in the future. It has good potential and is going so well these days.
It would really be a regret if one would miss the opportunity to invest in OMG. I was waiting for the right moment to enter in it and I think the right moment has come. It is red market since most of the altcoins are down due to the upcoming fork. It would also be a very tough decision whether to invest in altcoins now or to hold BTC for the upcoming fork.
6546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Yes, Mining from your phone.... on: October 09, 2017, 08:50:33 AM
Indeed, ico is the greatest scam to date, tulips anyone? hehe
Indeed it is a scam. I went through a video today on youtube which said that the app which let the users to mine electroneum was not actually mining but was just a simulation and the app didn't mine actual blocks. If this were to be true then the point of the whole ICO saying that it is phone mineable just becomes goes for nothing. Don't know whether the video was fake or the ICO is a fraud one.
I am keeping my bets saying that Electroneum is a scam.
6547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Pulse (RPX) just destroyed themselves - Worst ICO ever! on: October 09, 2017, 08:42:06 AM
That's really a bad situation you went through. That's the down side of investing in ICOs, we never know what comes next.
Although it is their faulty, they are the ones who are benefiting through this situation. You could have used that extra money elsewhere and could have got a better return than to just wait for the refund for those weeks. It feels pity when big ICOs like this face through such issues and that too at the beginning stage. We surely won't know what more we would have to face.
6548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee says it costs him 1000$ to mine 1 Bitcoin. Is it really that cheap? on: October 08, 2017, 03:47:03 PM
The research I have done, the less coin in circulation, the harder it is to mine. I am new to crypto and was up in the air whether to mine or buy coins. After much research, I decided it was better for me to invest in coin rather than mining machines. The mining machines cost a lot on electricity, replacing hardware, and machines go out of date pretty fast considering the mining process is getting more complex daily.
You have done a good research mate. I was myself planning on to invest in mining rigs and build a decent mining rig out of GPUs and then use them for some years. After some years when they become not so good for mining then I would sell them and get fiat instead of them.
But I think you post makes more sense to me and it must be really hard for maintaining the rigs and electricity. I am thinking to drop the idea of investing in mining and thinking to put that amount in trading instead.

Also the link says that it is a malicious website and it is not appropriate to redirect users to such sites here.
If you want to pass on any information about anything then you should make an informative post about it and not just post the link.
Also, try to post genuine links which doesn't redirect users to suspicious websites.
6550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese traders soon to be found on BISQ https://bisq.network/ on: October 08, 2017, 01:48:44 AM
The site looks quite appealing to me but I wonder what kind of a domain .network is ?  The peer to peer based exchange looks promising to me but I wonder whether it would be a successful one . It is still in a Beta stage and needs a lot of advertising. It might actually be a good option for chinese traders as it is p2p. There are already other p2p crypto exchanges so what does it make different from the others ?
6551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't live to see the next 10 years on: October 07, 2017, 03:26:25 AM
I won't be voting on this as I don't know what is gonna happen in future. Any predictions will solely be just on analysis and assumptions.
There is nothing to be worried about Bitcoin because it's just a crypto currency as the others. If at all Bitcoin gets faded away there will be other coins which will take it's place in the market. Crypto currency will have its dominance in the market and that is all it matters. As long as people believe in crypto currencies the dominance will be there and things will keep going on.
6552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptotourism - is it evolving? on: October 07, 2017, 03:11:04 AM
Bitcoin is not yet globally accepted all around the world. So at present it would be quite difficult to go on a world tour depending on Bitcoin.
It is not impossible though. If tour service providers can be able to manage the tour by using only cryptos then it might be actually possible to go on a crypto tour. It will surely take a lot of effort and well planning as to execute such ideas takes a lot of risks. Management is the key to good crypto tourism. Hence if the management is good then it is surely possible.
6553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative mining to ETH on: October 06, 2017, 01:34:04 PM
You seem to be quite experienced in mining. I would like to ask you how much you are able to mine per month. How much did you invest in the mining rig ? What are the electricity and other charges ?
Can you please share the details with me by posting it here or PMing me. I am thinking to invest some money into mining rig and start mining with a proper set up.
6554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my current holdings- made 3.5x my money in the past 6 months. on: October 06, 2017, 01:29:39 PM
That indeed is a big portfolio . I wonder how hard would it be for you to cope up with all of them.
The coins you  have are all really great for an investment. I think ARK and STRAT must be a good deal of investment from the list you mentioned. I am myself planning on to invest some of my money in these coins.
6555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on the next fork? on: October 06, 2017, 04:27:38 AM
Although there many possibilities that can happen when the Bitcoin is undergoing the fork, I think the same thing would happen with BTG as it happened with BCH. People would buy BTC and hold it to get free BTG and then will sell BTG to increase their BTC capital.
People wait for opportunities like these where one gets the chance to increase their capital.
6556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if it stabilised at around USD$5000? on: October 06, 2017, 04:25:15 AM
I would still keep using Bitcoin whether its price increases or not. Bitcoin is still used for many purposes like trading, mining, investments, payments etc... With all those available options out there I don't think that one would want to discontinue using bitcoins. Even if its value is stabilized it would contribute well into the world as there are many applications which uses bitcoins as an asset and as a technology.
6557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is gaining momentum in Africa on: October 05, 2017, 07:14:46 AM
Quote
Africa is covered by demand for crypto-currencies !!!

Now Bitkoin.Africa allows customers from all African countries to buy bitcoins, quickly and without problems.
Nigeria became the first country to exchange P2P digital assets, seeking to facilitate access to bitcoin throughout the African region.
Bitkoin.Africa was launched by a team of Nigerian developers on October 1
Have a nice day, everyone! Wink
I have got to know that many Nigerians are trying to scam people by selling Bitcoins at very cheap rate and exchanging them for some coins.
No offense against any people but this is just what I heard from other people. I have personally seen some messages where they were selling Bitcoins for cheaper rates. I don't know about Bitkoin.africa but you should all stay safe from such people.
6558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's future on: October 05, 2017, 07:05:07 AM
Most of the governments will regulate the ICOs in future knowing that there are many scammers out there who are waiting for investors to invest in their useless ICOs. So the governments will have no other option other than regulating ICOs and passing strict laws against them.
There have already been many incidents where many people lost all their money because of such scammers and that's why countries like China and South korea have banned ICOs.
6559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How profitable are doing bounties? on: October 05, 2017, 06:52:43 AM
Bounties and campaigns can be very good as a side income but you should never rely on them completely. Never quit your stable job as there will be some time when the bounites are over and you will have nothing to do. That time will be very difficult to pass and you might make some bad decisions.
You can continue your bounties and campaigns aside the stable job but never quit it. Also, you are still a newbie and I don't think you will be earning much from such rank. The higher rank gets more than the lower ones so try to get yourself a higher rank.
6560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to say bye bye to IOTA? on: October 05, 2017, 06:42:37 AM
I think the coin is still in development stage and it would be inappropriate to say anything about it at this stage.
If you have bought it at a high price then I guess you are unlucky and only options you have are sell or hold.
If you don't really need the amount right now then I would recommend you to hold it as long as you can.
If you desperately need the amount for some purpose then you should sell the coins. There comes times to sell in a loss.
You can't win them all right.
