6541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't live to see the next 10 years on: October 07, 2017, 03:26:25 AM
I won't be voting on this as I don't know what is gonna happen in future. Any predictions will solely be just on analysis and assumptions.
There is nothing to be worried about Bitcoin because it's just a crypto currency as the others. If at all Bitcoin gets faded away there will be other coins which will take it's place in the market. Crypto currency will have its dominance in the market and that is all it matters. As long as people believe in crypto currencies the dominance will be there and things will keep going on.
6542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptotourism - is it evolving? on: October 07, 2017, 03:11:04 AM
Bitcoin is not yet globally accepted all around the world. So at present it would be quite difficult to go on a world tour depending on Bitcoin.
It is not impossible though. If tour service providers can be able to manage the tour by using only cryptos then it might be actually possible to go on a crypto tour. It will surely take a lot of effort and well planning as to execute such ideas takes a lot of risks. Management is the key to good crypto tourism. Hence if the management is good then it is surely possible.
6543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative mining to ETH on: October 06, 2017, 01:34:04 PM
You seem to be quite experienced in mining. I would like to ask you how much you are able to mine per month. How much did you invest in the mining rig ? What are the electricity and other charges ?
Can you please share the details with me by posting it here or PMing me. I am thinking to invest some money into mining rig and start mining with a proper set up.
6544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my current holdings- made 3.5x my money in the past 6 months. on: October 06, 2017, 01:29:39 PM
That indeed is a big portfolio . I wonder how hard would it be for you to cope up with all of them.
The coins you  have are all really great for an investment. I think ARK and STRAT must be a good deal of investment from the list you mentioned. I am myself planning on to invest some of my money in these coins.
6545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on the next fork? on: October 06, 2017, 04:27:38 AM
Although there many possibilities that can happen when the Bitcoin is undergoing the fork, I think the same thing would happen with BTG as it happened with BCH. People would buy BTC and hold it to get free BTG and then will sell BTG to increase their BTC capital.
People wait for opportunities like these where one gets the chance to increase their capital.
6546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if it stabilised at around USD$5000? on: October 06, 2017, 04:25:15 AM
I would still keep using Bitcoin whether its price increases or not. Bitcoin is still used for many purposes like trading, mining, investments, payments etc... With all those available options out there I don't think that one would want to discontinue using bitcoins. Even if its value is stabilized it would contribute well into the world as there are many applications which uses bitcoins as an asset and as a technology.
6547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is gaining momentum in Africa on: October 05, 2017, 07:14:46 AM
Quote
Africa is covered by demand for crypto-currencies !!!

Now Bitkoin.Africa allows customers from all African countries to buy bitcoins, quickly and without problems.
Nigeria became the first country to exchange P2P digital assets, seeking to facilitate access to bitcoin throughout the African region.
Bitkoin.Africa was launched by a team of Nigerian developers on October 1
Have a nice day, everyone! Wink
I have got to know that many Nigerians are trying to scam people by selling Bitcoins at very cheap rate and exchanging them for some coins.
No offense against any people but this is just what I heard from other people. I have personally seen some messages where they were selling Bitcoins for cheaper rates. I don't know about Bitkoin.africa but you should all stay safe from such people.
6548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's future on: October 05, 2017, 07:05:07 AM
Most of the governments will regulate the ICOs in future knowing that there are many scammers out there who are waiting for investors to invest in their useless ICOs. So the governments will have no other option other than regulating ICOs and passing strict laws against them.
There have already been many incidents where many people lost all their money because of such scammers and that's why countries like China and South korea have banned ICOs.
6549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How profitable are doing bounties? on: October 05, 2017, 06:52:43 AM
Bounties and campaigns can be very good as a side income but you should never rely on them completely. Never quit your stable job as there will be some time when the bounites are over and you will have nothing to do. That time will be very difficult to pass and you might make some bad decisions.
You can continue your bounties and campaigns aside the stable job but never quit it. Also, you are still a newbie and I don't think you will be earning much from such rank. The higher rank gets more than the lower ones so try to get yourself a higher rank.
6550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to say bye bye to IOTA? on: October 05, 2017, 06:42:37 AM
I think the coin is still in development stage and it would be inappropriate to say anything about it at this stage.
If you have bought it at a high price then I guess you are unlucky and only options you have are sell or hold.
If you don't really need the amount right now then I would recommend you to hold it as long as you can.
If you desperately need the amount for some purpose then you should sell the coins. There comes times to sell in a loss.
You can't win them all right.
6551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think its good if whole world will have ICO regulations? on: October 05, 2017, 06:33:41 AM
Yes there should be a worldwide regulation of ICOs in order to prevent scam and kick out potentially worthless ICOs.
Many ICOs had been created for raising funds and then scamming people and many people were scammed. In order to prevent that from happening in future, regulation is necessary.
This can be achieved by creating a general website for ICOs stating the rules and regulations for them to be followed and laws that will be applied on them. People could complain about the ICOs there and then the cyber crime department could take action against them.
6552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where to buy bitcoin ? on: October 05, 2017, 06:23:59 AM
you could buy bitcoins from www.localbitcoins.com as there are many options on that website form which we can select a convenient price and then make the deal. You have the option to buy from cash also, you just have to look for a convenient price and place on the website and then carry out the deal. If you know any local seller who accepts cash and bank transfer then you can buy the bitcoins from him and make the payment.
6553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you Do When You Run Out of Money to BUY During Such a Great Opportunity? on: October 04, 2017, 07:33:09 AM
Always stick to the plan you make and the strategy you plan on. There will be buying opportunities but don't buy again and again and empty your bank balance. If you think that this is the lowest it can go then you are wrong. Crytpos are too volatile and can keep on increasing or decreasing based on the market demand. You must be wise in your decisions and must know whether to buy, sell or hold at that moment.
Piece of advice: Just HOLD if you don't know what to do.
6554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My story so far on: October 04, 2017, 07:27:07 AM
It's part of trading brother. It happens with the best of us and I have been there too. It was during the beginning days of my trading when I made many mistakes similar to yours. I bought coins and then FUD made me sell my coins. I was a complete idiot those days thinking that the coin won't recover back but just as i sold the coins the price started to increase. I have quiet a few experiences which made me believe that coins do recover at some point of time and its just a matter of time. The only thing to do until then is HOLD.
6555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin presently at a resistance hold or break $4100 to $4300 on: October 04, 2017, 07:15:24 AM
The current resistance is at $4300 and if it drops then I think that the $4100 is a good support line for Bitcoin. Although I dont think that the price will drop any time soon knowing that the hard fork is near and so the chance for bitcoin to increase in price are quiet good. When the last hard fork happened the prices were increased before the fork and then later it increased further more. So it might happen this time too and the chances for bitcoin to cross $5000 are too high.
6556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amount of BTC for trading on: October 04, 2017, 07:08:53 AM
Advanced and experienced traders don't ask for capital amount for trading. The only people who ask for capital investments are beginners and according to me the starting amount can be from 0.005 to 0.01 depending on your bank balance. The amount is small and so we should know that the profit also will be small. Just practice trading until you are sure to obtain profit and then increase the capital. Spread out the capital into different coins in order to generate profit at least in some of then. Plan your strategy well and then execute it.
6557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins for Day trading on: October 04, 2017, 07:03:39 AM
The best coins for day trading according to me would be DGB and OMG. DGB is fluctuating by around 50 satoshis each day and so we can make a good profit out of it if we buy at low prices and sell at high prices. OMG's price is at 0.002 btc and is fluctuating by 0.0001 btc. Earlier it was fluctuating at by 0.0005 btc and can yield a good profit. I have myself got quiet a good profit from these coins.
So they are quite good coins for day trading.
6558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading dilemma on: October 04, 2017, 06:53:59 AM
The same thing happened to me brother. Around 8-9 weeks back i had bought some 2000 DGB at the price of 600 satoshis.
I waited for a few days for it to increase in price but the price decreased and came to 300 satoshis. I thought of averaging the price and so i bought another 2000 DGB for the price of 300 satoshis which gave me the average of 450 satoshis. Now I am waiting for it to reach 500 satoshis so that I can sell it off and get my return.
6559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth About BLOCKCHAIN on: October 03, 2017, 06:58:28 AM
You're right.. But I'm not sure why you're posting this here? We all are here at this forum because we know Blockchain is the future Tongue
Yeah. But regardless, it's still a good read. Nice brief explanation of what Blockchain really is.
It surely is a good read but don't you think its like violating the rules of Bitcointalk community. Why do we make a post ?
So that we can ask questions, solve our doubts and gain knowledge by helping each other. We could easily gather this information about the blockchain from googling for 2 mins. Why would it be so necessary for someone to post it here unless he is trying to achieve his post count for the signature campaign. That, according to me is a wrong thing.
6560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: October 03, 2017, 06:47:50 AM
Ethereum will be my best choice of investment for the long term. It is already second in the top coins and it has quite the potential to be the first too. It might take time for ETH to be at the first but it certainly has the ability to overcome BTC . ETH has a great technology and it is being used world wide by many industries. If this continues to happen then the growth ETH will make will be tremendous . It will cross all its high peak values and might be at the top of the list.
