6541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 03, 2018, 04:26:13 AM
i think no bro. yup bitcoin is popular. but paypal is more security
Obviously, English isn't your thing.  Grin

How secured is PayPal really? I think PayPal's discriminatory approach towards residents from certain countries is its major bane. I for one would love to see all that change or it burns with it. This is a major advantage bitcoin has over it and it could run PayPal down. Hopefully, it does.
6542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: October 02, 2018, 04:38:57 PM
I have this assumption that we may be having another December bull run, though may not be as high as we had last year. Bitcoin however have maintained a very good support level around $6000 since this year and there is no sign of breaking lower.

Sampling opinions from various investors show that there is this excitement and anticipation of another end of the year bull season and aside TA and FA, the market is equally controlled by the investors psychology and with this whole charade of an expected December bull season, I am of the opinion that it will likely come as a lot of persons are already waiting as we have a large number who are "for" than those "against".
It's a good thing that you pointed it as an "assumption". Let it rightly remain in that confinement. This is the thing about trading: Only trade what you see based either on FA or TA. We might see a little push upward now that the rumour of the ETF is beginning to be regarded as not the propelling force for bitcoin after all.
6543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 02, 2018, 03:32:18 PM
ALL wallets are vulnerable to hacking in different ways if they are not setup and used correctly..

It sounds like you are talking about a web wallet, a wallet on a website.
These are very vulnerable to hacking just the same as exchanges are. They can be hacked by hacking the website itself, ot hacking your computer to get your login details, or phishing you..
They definately are NOT unhackable..

Then you have desktop and mobile wallets..
Besides possible volnerabilities in their code they are only as safe as your device.. So if they can hack your device they can get your coins..
Even if you encrypt the wallet they could still get you with a keylogger or something..
Your device's security is in your hands..

Then you have "cold" wallets.. They can be quite unhackable if done right but you have to do them right..
If your seed or priv key are saved on a machine that the internet can touch, then they are hackable..
If you create them on a machine that was possibly infected or connected to the internet, they are hackable..
They are only unhackable if done right..

Then their are hardware wallets like the ledger and trezor..
Unhackable you might say right?
Well probably if you save your seed offline like write it down on paper, but if you save your seed in a file on a computer that is connected to the internet they can getcha....
Also, a lot of people STILL get hacked using these by trying to claim forks with scam wallets!!!
So you still have to watch what you do..

My choice is the Ledger hardware wallet but I am still very suspicious of the chrome app, and it needing "updates" all the time spooks me..
Seed written on physical paper..
With all these listed you make it look like it's almost impossible bring safe owing a wallet. Come on dude, it's not that difficult getting one's coins secured in a wallet. All one has to do is keep one's passphrase or password secured outside an online device. Just copy it out on a paper and keep away from preying eyes. Anyone will be fine if they do this and stay away from phishing sites. It's that simple. By the way, I endorse Coinomi and blockchain wallets.
6544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long ICO's project pay for bounty hunters on: October 02, 2018, 02:02:54 PM
I work with bounty more than 2 years and it seems period of paid more longer that be in 2016.
As it is, I am even waiting for a long concluded ICO bounty I did so many months ago and it is now looking like the devs have scammed us and the investors after participating for over 6weeks. There is a reason some people now longer trust bounties paying in their coins. Apart from these coins being shitcoins that get listed at low volume exchanges, most of them end as scams.
6545  Other / Off-topic / Re: [OPEN] Privcy Signature Campaign Member - Legendary [NEW] on: October 02, 2018, 09:25:29 AM
Dude, I don't think it's in alignment with the forum law here to bump a post that's less than 24hrs.
6546  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk or Altcointalks? on: October 01, 2018, 04:19:39 PM
OP, there's a way to remove the hyperlink to the site you are citing that makes it not come alive when clicked so we know the actual bitcointalk you so refer to. Is it the . org (that's this forum) or the .com (the phishing site)? Well, if you are drawing that comparison with this forum and altcointalk, then I think you just want to waste your time trolling.

This forum still stands number one in crypto matters for now.
6547  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any chance of having one global currency? on: October 01, 2018, 01:00:54 PM
Could you see a future wherein the entire world shares one global currency, be it fiat or crypto?
Capital NO! This won't happen, now or even in the future. Asking for a single currency for the entire world is like asking for a single language adoption for the world. This is wishful thinking and should be confined to where it rightly belongs: Utopia.
6548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: October 01, 2018, 12:02:31 PM
I don't think spreading the bitcoin (cryptocurrency by extension) awareness has anything to do with age specific. Yes, while we could leave out the very old and illiterate group, I think any teenager who is up to the level of grasping elementary implications of holding money should be let in on this. We are in a fast pace era now and it's pointless wasting time.
6549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can not log in on: October 01, 2018, 09:44:59 AM
I think you posted this in the wrong section and are likely not get much attention and response for it. Kindly move it to the bitcoin discussion or altcoin section.
6550  Other / Meta / Re: Can somebody tell me why merits are not given in the bounty selection? on: October 01, 2018, 04:59:44 AM
One of the reasons posts at the bounty section don't get merited is because Merit sources don't troll there. ; D Take this lightly. Yah, I know campaign managers corruptly get merit there a lot. But what post truly deserves to be merited there? The spammy activity report posts or what?
6551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collect bounty coin on: October 01, 2018, 04:22:08 AM
It's worth it to collect a coin at this time with a bounty. Because in a few years from now, market volume is rising. In a few years, it will be very important.
I hold a few bounty coins and I will confidently tell you that most bounty coins are worthless. But if you must waste your time pushing your luck, only engage those bounty projects with existing businesses. You may want to try out the mb8coin.io Its bounty and ICO ends on Nov 5.
6552  Other / Off-topic / Re: [OPEN] Privcy Signature Campaign Member - Legendary [NEW] on: September 30, 2018, 07:49:37 PM
As long as this is not escrowed you should not wear the signature. Note that if you add the signature it appears under all your previous posts giving OP and his projects free exposure and you get nothing. Apply without using their signature and wait for the funds to be confirmed. Don't help scammers!
This seems exactly what the OP aims to achieve. It is even more surprising that most high ranked members (Senior - Legendary) of this forum don't even see through this yet.
6553  Other / Meta / Re: Endless CAPTCHA on: September 30, 2018, 04:56:45 AM
Hehe, I hope you're not trying to buy merits there Grin.
OP might be a new bride on heat and that surely is the dowry. Let's see how the toasting game goes.

We might need a heterosexual priest here for the wedding later. Volunteers are welcome...  Shocked
6554  Other / Off-topic / Re: [OPEN] Privcy Signature Campaign Member - Legendary [NEW] on: September 30, 2018, 04:17:13 AM
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Sadly, even the veteran members aren't even seeking an evidence of escrow before applying in a xampantn by a Newbie with just 3posts.

Goodluck ya!
6555  Economy / Speculation / Re: I never held this much bitcoins. on: September 29, 2018, 05:26:18 AM
Long story but I'm still alive after the ath 19k n buying the dip. I thought it was going to 4k. But i guess its a good time to buy now. Best of luck.
You aren't alone in this ATH disaster. Many who thought bitcoin was a get rich quick investment are also suffering this fate. Besides, you dont trade or engage this market in "I thought it was going to 4k" kind of decision. You trade what you see and not what you feel

And how much you are holding now.
I'm also curious, but telling people online how much bitcoin holdings you have is never a good idea. Unless you want to be targeted by hackers.
Noob error. I am sure he will soon learn but I hope not the hard way.
6556  Economy / Services / Re: BITCLOAK BITCOIN MIXER [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] [OPEN][Merit ++] on: September 28, 2018, 09:09:03 PM
Thanks manager for another round of payment. It's good to know that the campaign has also been extended.
6557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Story of crypto market on: September 28, 2018, 09:54:00 AM
Crypto market is full of blood and tears.
Certainly many people who enter this market long enough will have losses money, even lot of money.
I've lost a lot money because of the margin. When I think I know everything about this market. That moment I was gone.
Have you ever lost a lot of money? Please share with me your story about this market. I want to learn from you. Thanks a lot.
The truth remains that anyone who hasn't lost money in cryptocurrency is yet to make a purchase. Profit and loss is the name of this game. It has wrecked more people than it has turned out millionaires. The industry follows the kitchen principle: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen
6558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Dethroned Ethereum on: September 27, 2018, 08:22:48 AM
Ripple is now the 2nd coin in the total valuation of available coins.
Ethereum lost it's 2nd position which it was holding for years.
What do you think? Is this change in position a temporary or is Ripple has established itself as the leader of alts?

It will really be a tough call for XRP to get back to its $3+ ATH. But be that as it may, I don't think it even matters who leads on the log. What investors and traders are after is the trading price of any coin as that is what translates to profit. Just imagine what happens if XRP trades at the same price as Eth...I bet you, more millionaires will be born immediately.
6559  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the price of Bitcoin break below the $6,000 support level? on: September 27, 2018, 04:49:22 AM
If you look at the chart of the Bitcoin price, it has formed a clear descending triangle with support at about $6000. Resistance is keeping the peak of each bullish run lower than the previous one for the past few months.  If I can find a good chart to post, I'll add it in later.

I believe that this is a bearish signal that the price could likely break below $6000 soon

Do you agree and if so, when do you think it will drop below that key support level?
How soon is soon?

The truth remains that predictions around the price of bitcoin have always beaten everyone hallow till date. It hasn't ever been predicted right and I am not perturbed with what anyone says. Yes, price may be trading low now but a break up trend could still occur especially as everyone awaits the outcome of the ETF this September.
6560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TowerX newly launched Crypto Currency Exchange on: September 27, 2018, 04:08:05 AM
Everyone knows what happened to BNB within few weeks to months.

There was huge pump of 8600% hike from the original price of ICO.
Just because Binance did it and succeeded isn't enough reason that every other exchange coin will also succeed. I know a few exchange tokens now that are doing very well in the market, I must confess, but they are reputable exchanges with great volumes. So, how reputable is your exchange seeing that it's a new one in the market?

BTW, I have noticed this trend of exchanges making out their own tokens now.
