@BWF I would appreciate such an article if I was a newbie. It's a good thing that you're trying to help newcomers. But I feel like you should focus a little bit more on the freelancing part of the article. If you're trying to teach them something, well freelancing is the most legit way one can earn bitcoin if he's a starter. It might even open the door for some people for bigget opportunities. Whatever the case is, freelancing is definitely better than faucets, where you don't even earn.
6563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner 3.3 w/Remoting: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: July 25, 2014, 08:13:45 AM
I just found out that for the last 5 days my Darkcoin mining has been showing shares locally but not poolside.
Any ideas??
I have the pool looking into it.  I have not made any changes.

I'm not an expert but I've had this hapen to me once. The pool had a setting in it's website to set the difficulty to suit your mining power for the best. For some reason, one day it was set lower, maybe set too low even. Most of my shares ended up being stale.
6564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A currency with no transaction fees vs a currency with no volatility on: July 24, 2014, 09:16:49 AM
Which do you prefer and why?

No volatility or no transaction fees.
Zero transaction fees sound more plausible than no volatility. But in the other hand, no volatility would make a currency the greatest ever.

362 blocks until PoS kicks in again (hopefully Cheesy)

Care to give me some insight? Did the PoS stop working? I've missed something.

Here's OldScammerTag's trust feedback. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=330472

Scroll to where the sent feedback is. Beside's that, there is no actively updated scammer list. The trust system is there to mark people as scammers or trusted.
6570  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: July 23, 2014, 01:56:28 AM
I don't think they did; at least I saw no information about any change in rates recently, or in the OP from PrimeDice, for that matter. What PD did do was to lower the max posts allowed per month to 400 - but how much you're paid for each post remains the same.

Yeah thanks for correncting me. It was the max number of posts that got lowered, not the payment rate.
6571  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: July 23, 2014, 01:10:46 AM
Hopefully this signature campaign will be back in the future. I think this is the highest paid signature and the most punctual payer.

Idneed it was a great campaign. But sadly good things don't last forever. Even the longest running campaign, primedice lowered it's rates lately.
6572  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: July 22, 2014, 05:24:33 PM
I think this guy yonce got a hidden agenda. It is a know fact among the HYIP players that HYIPs are in a very deep depression since a while already. We should just ignore him and he will stop giving us useless lessons here. He is a scammer who think with his badmouthing he can bring over clients to his shady HYIP world and can damage the reputation of BT. Considering the fact that BT currently has around 3,200 clients and only about two dozen or so are participating here, his "little plan" will not work out. So nothing to worry about, just chill out and ignore this lowlife.
Why are we getting those accusations from newly created accounts? In every single HYIP post, a big % of the posts comes from acounts that post for their first time in the thread. Isn't that a bit suspicius?
6573  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: • CRYPTORY • — MAXIMIZE YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL WITH CRYPTORY! on: July 22, 2014, 05:17:56 PM
And now the website is down. I've been warning everyone about this HYIP since it's easly days. There is no thing such as safe investments when it comes to hyips...
6574  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ★☆★ BtcInv.club | Bitcoin Investment |Daily Profit ★☆★ on: July 22, 2014, 05:10:15 PM
You're right about the nature of its.

Do you imply that you'll use some of the funds fore real investments?
6575  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: July 21, 2014, 01:24:05 AM
So, um. Now that it's July 21, can we remove our signatures and still get paid? planned for July 21-23 scares me a bit. Care to clarify?
6576  Local / Ελληνικά (Greek) / Re: Δημιουργία Ελληνικού site για το bitcoin. on: July 21, 2014, 01:09:17 AM

Sad

2 To worldpress έχει δικά του forum. Ρίξε μια ματιά εκεί μπας και σου πουν τίποτα χρήσιμο. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/

3 Συγχαρητήρια! Smiley
6577  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [PP or BTC]League Of Legends Accounts - UNRANKED - Level 30 on: July 19, 2014, 01:51:26 PM
Fo you have any way to prove that you won't be able to regain access to those by contacting the support? Or should people just put their trust on you?

Btw, good luck with this.
6578  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PLAYTIN Wallet - anonymous - mixing - no fees on: July 18, 2014, 03:29:41 AM
I sent playtin a message and I hope they'll reply soon. I think that some DRK got stuck after the transaction. The transaction is written in the blockchain but they just won't show up in my account. I'm posting this here to make sure others are aware as well.

Also, does anyone know if there is any other way to contact them besides a PM in the forum?

6580  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] 1Mh/s scrypt contract on: July 17, 2014, 11:02:18 PM
Could you post the price you want, in BTC, here?
I'm open to offers but I'd be perfectly happy with 0.24 BTC
0.24btc at current rates equates to ~$149.52 USD

Seriously doubt anybody will be willing to pay that much for 1MH of scrypt given that your only going to earn ~1.43LTC in a 30 day period of time assuming litecoin difficulty remains static from right now.  Obviously that won't happen either.

Good luck with your sale but I suspect you'll be keeping this bad-boy for the full-duration.

All over this post , I've mentioned that I'm open to any kind of offer. 0.24 would be the ideal price for me but I'm willing to go much lower.
