6561  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loteo - Daily & Weekly Lottery | Instant Games | Instant Transactions on: September 15, 2019, 02:54:59 PM
--snip--
Honestly, it was exactly the same, I have played on both places, the other one I forgot the name and I tried to find it for half an hour and checked everywhere that could have been but I couldn't find the topic about it, maybe they deleted it I don't know.

However, I remember vividly how the game was and I also played here as well and I can tell you it was EXACTLY the same, that is why I am saying that there was a similar one, not because I kindly saw something like this, no I vividly remember it was exactly the same. Still, it was same in gameplay, the all other details are looking quite different and the graphics are quite different as well. The deal is there is really no problem with competition (even tho other one is already gone so no competition), there could be a place exactly same as loteo one day, competition is healthy for the customer.
6562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loteo - Daily & Weekly Lottery | Instant Games | Instant Transactions on: September 14, 2019, 01:39:20 PM
There was another website with about the same logic, they had per minute lottery, per hour, per day, per week, per month and per year as the latest if I am not wrong, they did a beta and only allowed people to play with fake money and not real, they couldn't find a big increase in user numbers during the beta and gave up I believe.

If you guys insist on this, I know it will have very small and tiny numbers at first and that will look bad for you because you are basically required to have a lot of people buying tickets to keep this up but I am sure in the end you will get more and more people and finally hit to a number that is actually fun to gamble. Be careful about the affiliate people tho, freebitcoin had trouble with it on their lottery section, don't remember what the problem was but you can ask them yourself.
6563  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: September 13, 2019, 05:40:55 PM
Those bad economies in small countries that have high inflation is not doing that because they would like to try their hand at being starving to death.

Those countries are forced for that because big countries take advantage of those places like a slave, they pay peanut money for their products and labor and all that and if you stop doing it because of price then they will go to another one, there are only a few huge nations whereas there are over hundred small tiny nations that could be exploited. Venezuela was loved by USA until they started to meddle with Oil prices and actually use it as a threat, you can't threaten USA with oil, those dudes literally went to war across the globe just to get some more oil from Iraq for Christ sake.

As long as big economies keep crushing small ones the inflation there will continue to go up.
6564  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: September 13, 2019, 04:56:03 PM
Blockchain may increase some transparency in government but that is a big if, I doubt it will ever happen, think about it these people literally make billions of dollars combined from screwing the public and making a profit for themselves. There is no way we can convince those people to use blockchain and make everything paper thin so we can see it as well and know where our money goes, from you paying your taxes to where that money ends up, you can literally keep track of everything, they can't let that happen.

However, if we assume just for fun, then we are talking about billions of dollars of corruption all going back to people and eventually taxes will go down and services will go up, you will both pay less and still get more in return of your less taxes. That would boost the economy like crazy.
6565  Economy / Gambling / Re: Creating a Daily Fantasy Site on: September 13, 2019, 04:07:51 PM
Daily fantasy websites do not make money because of house edge, they take rake, so they are not even risking any money. Just to give an example, places like primedice put up their own money against gamblers money and in the end because of the house edge they end up profiting in the long run, they may lose money to you but they usually win it from someone else and that equals to them making money.

However, here there is no way a fantasy website loses money, there is no one they are going against, they literally put up no money at all, they are just raking the money that was put up in the pot, like poker games. Hence this is a safer gambling for everyone involved, not a great deal of attention to fantasy games in the world but if you can market it well enough then you can make money.
6566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: September 13, 2019, 08:52:08 AM
There are very few ones but they are getting attention once again. ICO may not be legit but if the question is the coin offerings then IEO seems to be popular once again. If you look at how much they are getting funded once again you will realize that the bad part of ICO has ended and the coin offerings are once again getting money.

There was one IEO in binance for a while that literally got funded 100 million dollars in couple hours, not even days which means the demand for new coins are still there. Don't get me wrong coins might be horrible coins and they might not end up being anything at all however the reality is that people want to fund those and get cheap coins and then sell it as soon as they hit the exchange so they can make profit, they are not after anything else.
6567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP and BCH on: September 13, 2019, 08:09:51 AM
These are literally the last two coins I would ever put my money into, people who support these coins are either profiting from it or they are idiots there is no other possible explanation of supporting these coins.

First of all you have XRP which is basically pre-mined beforehand and controlled by the company by the millions, they have so much of it that they can literally change the currency and have even more of it if they want to, the only response to centralization acquisitions they have is "if we sell it all then we would destroy our own currency, why would we want to do that", well I don't want to figure out why you would want it, its not a risk I would take.

On the other hand we have BCH which is basically fake bitcoin, they did it just so that they could use some of their mining power to make more profit and there is literally no other use-case for it at all.
6568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New historical weekly high of $236M in ICO and IEO market on: September 13, 2019, 07:26:07 AM
The IEO hype will die down eventually, just like ICO died down because that is the nature of people realizing they won't be making profits as much as they imagined. There have been some great ROI for people who got in early, however there is a limit to how much "great projects" there could be out there, eventually there will be some bad ones and people will invest and start to lose money and they will stop investing and the funding for the new ones will get smaller and smaller until eventually it becomes like the current IEO.

Obviously, there is always some great ones that come up time to time and even on ICO there are still a great one once in a long while but it will stop being common and that will result with weekly highs being lower and lower eventually.
6569  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: September 12, 2019, 05:43:55 PM
Last thing: I don't believe we should bash this promo against a signature campaign. EOSBet can do them both, even at the same time if they want. All I care about is is it working in terms of volume on the platform that turn into dividends in my wallet  Grin
Signature campaign can't be done for couple weeks tho, I mean if they will do some sort of signature campaign they should find a way to sustain it as well, they are making money the more people join so maybe they can make some sort of affiliate link for themselves and then make people use that on their signatures, that way they will know how much money they are making from the affiliate link and the signature campaign and they can adjust how much they should pay accordingly as well. That way you have certain amount of money coming in and certain amount of money going out and if they are about equals then you can continue, if you spend more than you earn then you can slowly stop it, just stop paying for smaller ranks first and then stop all together if its not making any profit.
6570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 12, 2019, 05:27:55 PM
sometimes small profits are only considered as one of the producers of losses. but i don't think that's right. now if we can be more diligent, I think with small profits if managed properly and can also continue to provide large profits, the most important thing is to be consistent in trading so that it provides profit
The best part of bitcoin trading is the small profits. Hell I started with small profits, my first ever profit on crypto trading was 11 dollars. That was a lot of money for me because I honestly believed that I was making free money, yes I know right now I realize it was never free money and trading is not making money out of nothing etc etc but I was new and I didn't know anything so I thought that was free money and I can do it forever and never have to work.

Of course, I learned the truth later but that small profit idea never left my mind. That "could I make 10 bucks a day on average" never left my mind and I have been chasing that ever since. I can't average that much but I am not really doing bad neither, it is going well but as well as I would hope so Cheesy.
6571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Centralized and Decentralized. on: September 12, 2019, 04:11:28 PM
Centralized basically means that something is in the control of one entity, it could be one person or it could be one company but it is under their control to do whatever they want, they can print more of it, they can revert back the transactions, they have full power over that thing which is centralized. Whereas decentralized means, once it is created and out of creators hands, it can't be changed in any way possible, you can be satoshi nakomoto and even you can't change anything about bitcoin which is why people like the decentralized ones better.

Our current economy is centralized, it is governed by the people at the top and they do whatever they want with it, bitcoin and many crypto is not like that, for example there is max 21 million bitcoins and it can never be 20 or 22.
6572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: September 12, 2019, 03:35:10 PM
I lost the trust on some of this thing when I expected the halving of Litecoin then to have effect on the price of Litecoin, but till date, there has not been any impact.  I have learnt not to be concluding on come certain things having an effect until it does and I see that it was really the effect of it. September is here already for the launch, we can easily know very soon, and could you please remind me of the date that the bakkt promise to launch their project.
Do not rush for concluding like that. If you are entitled for real bitcoins that is actually better than digital (not actual) for all of us who are afraid of whales. I mean if it was like bitmex where people could basically play digitally they could make up money from thin air from leverage that normally would have been difficult (well it is not from thin air but you get it) that is why I think doing it physically is actually a slower method and not good for the people who will use BAKKT but in the end it is better for the market.

Not gonna lie I would prefer to use the bitmex version if I was a customer but having this would mean some more volume that wouldn't exist normally, maybe it is good this way that we are getting new money pouring into bitcoin and having people hold bitcoin instead of just numbers on their bakkt account without actually having bitcoin.
6573  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the bitcoin price prediction for 2020? on: September 12, 2019, 08:02:35 AM
I feel like bitcoin may actually make a good jump eventually, it has been around the same price for far too long and that means we have been waiting for a bull run.

Sometimes when we wait this long something goes wrong and the price goes low but if you ask me this time it is not gonna go down it is gonna go up. That is why I highly suggested my friends to buy bitcoin, not too much to hurt their financials but enough to make a good return when it does go up, like maybe 100-300 dollars range (that's a decent chunk in my country). Some of them agreed and bought, some of them said they will "look into it" which basically means no Cheesy.

I don't know if it will happen in 2020 or late 2019 but I think late 2020 is a better expectation after waiting for this long it will surely make a jump.
6574  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and blockchain adoption on: September 11, 2019, 05:11:43 PM
PWC is a big news actually, I mean those dudes are so big that almost all accounting in the world goes through them.

You may think that your small shop is not using PWC but actually you will be using a bank for your shop and that banks accounting is proven to be true by one of those 4 big horsemen of accounting one of which is PWC so that means even your small shop has some sort of ties with PWC at the very least. Then going into bitcoin would mean that they will be taking care of some sort of accounting of bitcoin accounts as well for their customers and that would make the worlds difference, they could find every single paper of legality that includes crypto and will make the road map and then regular people follow that without putting in the work themselves.
6575  Economy / Economics / Re: Ethereum 2.0 - A Complete Guide on: September 11, 2019, 04:10:57 PM
If ethereum turns into staking algorithm that I think ICO world could get attention once again. Now, you may think why would miners turn into ICO suddenly and whats the connection but I can tell you very easily. If there is staking that means the more money you have the more money you will make, say you did an ICO, you printed 100 million tokens and gave it to people who invested into you, they have given you 100 million dollars for it, if staking gives you even 2% a year, that means 2 million dollars a year.

Basically, it will be the best thing ever happened for people who want to start new ICO's and not only you will be funded but you will not even run out of money because you will keep making more and more money. That is why PoS is the way to make ETH loved again by everyone.
6576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad time to get into daytrading? on: September 11, 2019, 01:50:26 PM
I think this is one of the best times to go into day trading. It is going between 10k+ (like around 11k but not exactly) and then 9k (still not exactly, kinda like 9.4k or so) and if you take advantage of that specially with some leverage on top of that then you can actually make a big profit.

Don't get me wrong it is incredibly hard to know when it will go up and when it will go down but if you do not wait for the maximums you can just buy when it hits anything under 10k and then sell when it hits above 10k and make a to not money via leveraging it like x50 lets say. It is not ideal and I would suggest becoming a great trader before you risk that much however it is certainly a great potential for all of us right now. If you only want to know the timing, this is a great time to start.
6577  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought a bitcoin today for 9K and sold when it hit 10K should I Of left it? on: September 11, 2019, 01:23:10 PM
Should I buy back in or do you guys think it might drop?

I’m more of a day trader so any advice would be hugely beneficial.

New to this but happy with making a grand.

In your situation, you are already in a profit and if you are here for a short term gain, then probably you should be contented on your profit but, if you are seeing the bigger picture and have patience to wait for another years, then probably it is best that you should buy now.  Halving is about to happen and that alone can kick the price up.  But still it is your call.
Right, it depends on the choice and how much capital he has, if he can halve for long-term investment and for quick profit then it will be better because the current situation is very fast rising and falling prices. So choosing to be a day trading is also not a problem as long as he is satisfied with the profits and not being too greedy is the best way in this situation.
There are simple small tricks in this kind of trading, like you leverage it against yourself so you never lose too much, for example if you are not sure if bitcoin will be going up or down then you buy a bit of long and short as well heavily on the side you think it may do, for example if you think it may go up but not sure you risk 1000 on buying longs and 100 on short but leverage the short high whereas not leveraging the long too much.

That way if it goes up you will make money on small leverage but 1000 investment, if it goes down then you will still make some because you have 100 dollars on high leverage. Don't get me wrong you will not make too much money this way but at least even if you are wrong you won't lose too much money and will be still fine.
6578  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 11, 2019, 09:05:40 AM
It is simple, you go to a fortune teller, you ask her/him about the future of bitcoin and invest accordingly. Joking aside there is no one in the world who would be capable of knowing what the price will be like, I mean I literally am saying NO ONE here because even if someone gets it right couple of times in a row, even if you are a whale who has enough money to rule the market, you will still be wrong some of the time and those people are very rare, they are not common neither.

So, I would suggest not try to predict the future but just look at charts and look at the possibilities, if you check what are the possible outcomes of our current stand for example you will limit most of the stuff, like we all know bitcoin won't be 25k when we wake up tomorrow, so when you eliminated all improbable stuff, only the probable stays.
6579  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed and Europe and Even Australia did rate cut but btc Still low on: September 11, 2019, 08:28:04 AM
They are not net positive when it comes to stuff like gold though, I mean people do not pick the "safer" option of gold because in the end because of the rate cuts the stock investments and even other stuff becomes much more safer and since they are safer people do not go for the gold type safe options.

This is why bitcoin will not be affected by this, I mean we are talking about people who are moving from a safe option to another safe option, bitcoin is so crazy we literally went from 1k on 2017 summer to 20k on 2017 December to 3k in 2018 November to 10k in 2019 June, that is like 1.5 years of INSANE movements which means those people who prefer stuff like golds or stocks and looks for rate cuts will not be actually going to bitcoin route. These are "safe" people and bitcoin is not for them.
6580  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain developers hiring trends on: September 11, 2019, 07:58:30 AM
Interesting to see Washington that high. I would have expected somewhere like San Fransisco or even New York (third and fifth respectively) to be at the top but somehow Washington is at the top. There will be more and more companies hiring blockchain developers for sure, think of it as a software development job and not just something new and related to crypto directly. Like for example people do search for C# developers right? They are also looking for phyton developers?

There are tons of other languages like that as well, most software developers know at least 2 or 3 of course but there are newbies who are good at just one. Think of blockchain developers like that, just a software developer who learned Java, than phyton and now blockhain, and applies for that kind of jobs, its gonna get only bigger.
