6561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 04, 2017, 11:29:28 PM
So what is the real reason behind faster confirmation with reduced speed,do not tell that it is because of lower transactions because it is still 256,940 transaction in the last 24 hours, just curious to know the real reason behind the sudden smooth transactions which i was looking for months.
There is no reason, There is less transaction in the Bitcoin network that makes the network will be running for smoothly as far as i know. But looks the bitcoin21fees already given the wrong result about the fees.
or I don't think that you can try to pay your transaction with 10k satoshi and it got placed on first 10 blocks of bitcoin. But this time there is a lot of transaction gets stuck in the network or already there an upgrade with the bitcoin network.
Waiting for the more news about that.
6562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Goldman Sachs says bitcoin could rise another 50% on: July 04, 2017, 11:25:06 PM

A $4,000 Bitcoin by the end of August is almost guaranteed in my opinion - I am actually thinking $4,500 - $5,000 everyone is just waiting to see if Bitcoin will fork or not and if the technology has improved.
If people, who don't understand how SegWit works won't panic and dump everything before the upgrade. I'm already reading threads like "should I be scared?", "Should I sell before August?","are my coins safe?"
I hope we'll see at least $3000 broken by the end of the year. If that happens we should have an open way to $4000, but I doubt 4k is going to happen this year.
Most of the bitcoin exchange site already published the statement about the activates of segwit. The big bomb will have happened if the bitcoin will be successful to drive the fork. The more people will be in hype easy to use bitcoin as a microtransaction. A lot of people already understand what is segwit. Just another amateurs try to make a panic thread before tried to read about the segwit itself. $3000 looks so difficult in this year.
6563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billions stolen from South Korean Bitcoin exchange on: July 04, 2017, 11:20:10 PM
Bithumb, the fourth largest Bitcoin exchange in the world was recently hacked resulting in Billions of Won being stolen.

Read more: https://blog.coinspectator.com/2017/07/04/billions-stolen-from-south-korean-bitcoin-exchange/
Did you mean about billion worth of won?  Roll Eyes The title of that news seems like a click bait to encourage the more people and their curiosity. I don't take it for seriously but it's bad to see another exchange gets broken again. But remember I can't Lambo with below than 1 million dollars.
I just careful with their security, that makes them must upgrade the security.
6564  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How/Where to Report Stolen Cryptocurrency? on: July 01, 2017, 11:16:01 PM
I've had my money stolen from Poloniex. Contacted poloniex- they said they can't do anything.
At this point I know there's no way to get it back, but I just want to report it somewhere within the legal system.
Can I report it to FBI or the local Police?
Any other places/people to report to?

Are you remember that the status of Bitcoin in every country was vague? There is not another place to report your case or stolen amount. That's crypto, even the exchange site was not able to protect or resolve your case. The cryptos were in a grey area, and that will be useless to report your situations in the legal constitution such as the police or FBI. But, can you try to trace the thief and find the thief's real ID? And make a pressure to send back your number.
6565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Japan ends 8% consumption tax on bitcoin Today on: July 01, 2017, 11:08:17 PM
Good BOOST for monday.

The boost won't be that big. Japan still isn't the leader in trading. Also, somebody should investigate how their Bitcoin businesses are really doing.
I suspect there could be big interest in the currency but only out of curiosity and very little real use.
Last time I heard, Japanese were all over bitcoins. They were buying like hell and also that the bitcoin price in Japanese exchanges was pretty higher than the other exchanges.

I heard rumours some Chinese whale traders switched to using Japanese exchanges after the Chinese government froze withdrawals on the Chinese exchanges. If that's true the end of the 8% consumption tax could be very bullish.
Not only the Japanese exchanges sites But the Korean's exchange sites already crowded with the chinese whales. The chinese exchanges are not giving convenience trade to the chinese users itself.

The more good news will make those whales try to find the convenient place to exchange their money.

But I believe over 80% the answer for the latest Japanese news about 8% consumption tax to be real.
6566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can you expain trade strategies? on: June 30, 2017, 10:50:03 PM
Hi.
i am mostly miner..but would like to have some trade skills.
We all know that buy on low and sell high.
But what it all go down? so sell for what coin?
Buy is easy..just buy with usd or btc any coin.but how to sell?
If i use stop limit, and btc is instable?
how do you trade?
The best answer just be a patience person, And why? because you will able to wait until the coin gets a huge pump and you will get the decent profit. Remember you will be able to buy in the big dip in this time.
I mean if the dip gets recover again and that gives you approx up to 10% in every trade. But I never use the stop limit because we don't know how the future will begin. But it looks good to make a second decision to avoid the big loss for your amount.
6567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to regulate bitcoins? on: June 30, 2017, 10:28:45 PM
It is decentralized and democratic, there is no centralization. This is the essence of Bitcoin.
Totally wrong, Even the decentralized of bitcoin will not prevent the possibility to regulate the Bitcoin, You know that the exchange sites are a centralized system with the main purpose to connect te sell and buy demand.
It can be determined as the important aspect in the crypto. Just said that the possibility to regulate the bitcoin through controlling the exchange site itself.
Bitcoin is not a centralized coin but most of the exchanges have traded bitcoin was the centralized exchange.
6568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an altcoin on: June 29, 2017, 11:29:07 PM
Hard forks split Chains and therefore are considered dangerous for the stability of Bitcoin, that's why soft forks exist. We saw what happened when ETC hard forked (for all the wrong reasons) and it wouldn't be wise to make the same mistake with BTC. If we were in the pleasant position where we' have a 90~95% consensus hard forks would be considered safer but, Bitmain..  Lips sealed
That's why we are supporting Segwit 2x and not for UASF. The possibility of UASF to splitting the bitcoin chain will make the bitcoin looks pretty bad.

I don't want to see another fork coin of bitcoin just like BTU. Because we know that all of the altcoins just forked coin of bitcoin itself. No more forced coin of bitcoin.

Looks those are forgetting about consensus right now.
6569  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Steemit, is it worth it? on: June 28, 2017, 11:38:45 PM
Is anyone here using steemit maybe? I've recently stumbled upon it and as much as I know it's a content sharing place where you can earn some money, yes? Can anyone tell me more about it, is it worth getting into, etc...
Too difficult to get the money through blogging on steemit right now. As far as I know, there are some elements you must fill it.
You must have a correlation with the bloggers that has big steem power to vote your blog or you'll never get anything.

My thought that tries to blog for the altblog campaign is much better than gain the vote in steemit.
6570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most likely outcome on August 1st ? on: June 28, 2017, 11:34:06 PM
On August 1st UASF will get activated, but literally nothing will happen because UASF is a joke.
The overwhelming majority of mining power supports Segwit2x, and we will get that first.
The majority Bitcoin users don't want the bitcoin will be ended like ETH with the forked one ETC. Say no to UASF and yes for Segwit. The UASF will be forked the chain and that makes another forked chain will have appeared.
UASF will never have happened and there is not something special at the first of August.  Tongue
Proud for SegWit.
6571  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big old correction going on... on: June 27, 2017, 11:55:06 PM
Some buyback occuring right now.  we went into the 2200 range but back into the 2500s as I type. Always some relief, I like the decrease a bit to buy at a cheaper price but always exhale once that rise begins again!
bitcoin is in fact giving opportunities to people to invest money in bitcoin at low price , because the price is now start increasing and hope that it is not coming back from that price and hope that it will continue increasing because still there is a lot of potential in the price of bitcoin.
I believe this day will be coming to be real. I'd bought cheap bitcoin yesterday and in some hours later and I got a decent profit. What a good sign for me!! Those are selling on the bottom must try to think for a twice before playing the game in this time.
That's just a correction, Just give a low price for those were not panic to jump in. Thanks for the weak hand.  Roll Eyes
6572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: August 1, Bitcoin will Ends? on: June 27, 2017, 11:34:31 PM
Bitcoin will not end, it will change / evolve.  We will probably end up in a similar situation to ETH and ETC where they had two chains for the same coin, it is certainly an interesting time but not something to panic about it is more of an exciting time in the evolution of bitcoin.

Are you sure? You said that the bitcoin will have ended up like ETH and ETC but I've heard another said that the bitcoin will not get forked and just there will be an improvement such as Segwit and 2MB hardfork.
But if the bitcoin will get UASF in 1 august and I think there is a lot of chance the chain split to happen. My thought if that must be avoided.
We know that the community of ethereum gets divided caused by the chain split.
6573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to sell on the way down without being the absolute bottom on: June 26, 2017, 11:02:52 PM
Hi guys

Just looking for some tips, basically thinking we are slowly coming into a bear market.

If that is the case then i want to be able to sell on the way down and then re-buy at an even lower point.

Based on that was wondering if you guys have any tips on how to sell on the way down while safely knowing you are not selling at the absolute bottom?
You will not until you are able to take the risk to sell on the dip and buy on another next dip.

That will be involved a high risk. Because you will not be able to predict when and how many the coin will be dumped the whales to the market. To make the more traders will be feeling panic and try to sell their coin at the cheap price.

Never try to get into the bear or you will be lost.
6574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bloodbath on: June 26, 2017, 10:41:27 PM
Trying to buy more BTC and ETH but Coinbase offline. This is golden opportunity to top up the bags on the cheap. Anyone have any luck?
Why are you not trying to buy through another exchange site? I've bought some ether that gives me decent profit if the eth gets rebound asap.

The offline of coinbase just gives the more bad impact to this condition of crypto itself. Looks the rebound already started.  Grin
6575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Dump 20% Main reason ? on: June 25, 2017, 11:11:35 PM
Ethereum dump almost 20% What is the main reason why ether is dumping now please any one here explain Why ?

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/21/ethereum-drops-15-percent-demand-growing-pains.html

Remember the flash dump on the bitfinex just give a lot of attention for those are traders to put the lower order to prevent another flash dump will come from the ICO account. A lot of the big ICO in this month that gives the massive adoption to the blockchain to gain the more transaction to flip their money through the ICO. That makes the blockchain to be bloated.
The more transaction gets stuck in the network.
6576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: June 25, 2017, 11:03:02 PM
I think it is very difficult if you just pay for coffee with bitcoin why?
Because the bitcoin system when you transact will require confirmation and it takes about 5-10 minutes, while your coffee price is not more than 10 dollars,
I think for now the transaction using bitcoin to the shop or restaurant there is a minimum price of about 50 dollars.
Bitcoin is not a micropayment right now. Have you tried to see what was happening with the bitcoin network before? The raise of the transaction fees made those not able to make a micropayment transaction because the network need the more fees. Around $2 -$5. And do you want to pay over A single dollar for the fees just to pay a little transaction such as buying a coffee? That's pretty strange.  Roll Eyes
6577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Officially Has The Worse ICO Setup In History on: June 23, 2017, 11:22:26 PM
EOS has the worst scenario, I remember if the project will have run the project crowdsale for a year. That looks silly and ridiculous for me. But I think if the EOS will become a big fail in this time. Too many the terms are pretty strange.
We know that the tezos will be interested in putting in rather than EOS itself. Many have taken off from that.
The EOS must change the terms.
6578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Google Bought Blockchain.info on: June 23, 2017, 11:14:35 PM
The title just like a click bait to made everyone panic about the blockchain.info, Some are misinterpreted about the real news in the article. The blockchain invested 40 million to the blockchain start up.
Not to buy the blockchain itself. The Google tries to push the more money to develop the future system or technology.  Tongue
6579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get out of ethereum while you still can! on: June 21, 2017, 10:54:45 PM
I see a lot of ethereum fudding going on. I think people just want to make a killing buying in on the dip so they make it sound like all it lost. If the current congestion means ethereum is worthless then so is bitcoin.

BTC and ETH are not even in the same neighborhood. If any coin is overvalued during this crazy crypto pump across all coins, the winner is surely ETH.

Realistically speaking it should not be valued for as much as it does.

Based on what? The fact that its risen so fast? Its a fact that a lot of ethereum is now effectively locked up in various ICOs and the demand for ETH to pay gas fees is rising at an enormous pace. The demand for bitcoin however I feel is more speculative since you don't actually need it for anything, except maybe to buy altcoins on exchanges.
ETH is merely got so much hype due to most of the ICO are going with their platform but no one knows that ETH is controlled by the developer and so can do anything, that is the reason this time we care seeing dump in ETH but it was expected long back, and we can see more down if their is no real support. But in bitcoin you are telling that it is used for buying altcoins then i think you have not used bitcoin for other uses like gambling, in casinos and sports betting, purchase goods online. if your country is accepting bitcoins then you can do much more activity
Usually, the ethereum chain can be processing up to 40 tx in a second, But the massive demand caused by ico that bring the chain thousands transaction in a second.

What do you mean about "controlled by developer"?

Are you nuts?
https://np.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6imwi2/dwarfpool_and_f2pool_are_damaging_ethereum_a/

In another case, There is a glitch with the fucking gdax exchange. This already did by bitcoin in the past time.

I remember the bitcoin goes below $1.
6580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are transaction delays crashing Bitcoin prices? on: June 21, 2017, 10:45:26 PM
I am not sure if the delaying of transactions are one of the reason causing bitcoin prices to drop, but if bitcoin does not solve the block size problem soon, I believe there might be a time when some of the users that are frustrated with the long waiting time for confirmations in the blockchain might be switching to altcoins, and this might cause the value of bitcoin to drop.
We are having scaling agreement and don't worry. At least if that will not be splitting the bitcoin chain and there will be a clone for Bitcoin such as Bitcoin Unlimited coin. That will healthy.
The dump in bitcoin trade caused by the more traders tries to take an opportunity to another place.
But the scaling problem of bitcoin included on the long-term. Just remember it, there will be a scaling solution activation in august. Take your popcorn.  Roll Eyes
