Well, that's it for Werder. They actually fought for a chance and then lost 2 games in a row at home, without scoring a goal.

Due to their history in the competition I hoped they would stay up, but the reality is that this season they really deserved to get relegated.

~10 years ago they lost the UEFA cup final, they were on a downward trajection since then.

It is a shame due to their history but other teams have great history as well. Maybe we will see hamburg in the 1st Bundesliga next season and if my memory is correct they were never relegated before this last bad season.

At least, Werder is consistently bad, after I lost the money on them in first games after the restart I have now more than made it back with backing their opponents.

Werder is not consistently bad.
This season they do not have a good team but still they try not to be relegated. I think that they should stay at Bundesliga as they are a historical club in the league with a lot of fans on their back.
Yeah indeed, although not a Werder fan but I hope they can make it and stay in Bundesliga. A win vs Schalke 0 and Freibourg, a draw against M'Gladbach... I mean after the pause they surely missed few opportunities but they deserve to stay. They have to win the remaining games (except Bayern)!

Waiting to see Schalke 0  Roll Eyes
And again Schalke ruined the day with a draw this time. I feel bad for its supporters...

Omg Angry a bad Bundes Sunday
I like to see over scored goals, good for me that I played a “just for fun” ticket today
Yeah kinda boring. Now I am getting a feeling that Augsburg vs Koln would also end in a draw or maybe with goals under 2 or maybe something more unexpected to end the day.  Undecided
Boring, few goals, Schalke again, Augsbourg 0 - 0 koln almost 30'... Next games on Friday. Boring week too Undecided
6563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 07, 2020, 01:31:32 PM
Hell yeah I predict something correct and Wolfsburg won the match. Bremen 0-1 Wolfsbourg, goal was scored in the last 10 minutes by Weghorst.
Waiting to see Schalke 0  Roll Eyes
6564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: June 07, 2020, 01:29:00 PM
Now the German magazine Bild has also confirmed that the final of the European Champions League will be played in Lisbon.
In addition to Lisbon, Frankfurt and Moscow also applied for the hosts but their applications were rejected due to the large number of coronavirus patients.
Istanbul canceled this final tournament due to financial problems.
According to Bild, UEFA has already selected Portugal and Lisbon, although a formal meeting on the subject will not be held until June 17.
The main reasons for this decision, apart from the good situation with the corona virus, are that there are no more Portuguese clubs in the competition, suitable football facilities and a sufficient number of available stadiums that must be located within a radius of 100 km due to the large number of matches that must be played in a short time.
It looks like Frankfurt will receive a consolation prize, organizing the Europa League final.

Maybe UEFA has its own consideration as to why the Champions League final was moved from Istanbul to London. My estimation is likely because
the increase  in the number of positive COVID19 in Istanbul is increasing, maybe this is disappointing for Turkish residents. But the decision has
already been made, all parties must respect the decision of UEFA. In my opinion, although it will still be held in Istanbul the match will be held
without supporters, so it  is not too influential for Turkish citizens.
You mean Lisbon not London  Smiley
The different reasons are cited in the source with coronavirus coming first obviously. There is of course some secondary hidden reasons that we can speculate about but whatever, the main thing is to play and finish it.

Yes he announced here a week ago https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5251818.0
Don't know wolwoo why posting your topic in meta and not reputation since I doubt theymos will do anything about this subject, no?
6566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 07, 2020, 12:53:29 AM
They will play vs Düsseldorfer should be an easy game.
I believe easy games no longer exists in Bundesliga. Take a look on Leipzig and Schalke results which are obvious. There is many other games that should be an easy win for a team and ended with a draw or loss.

The only Team that keep there playing is Bayern Munich, sadly but only the true.
Dortmund also is doing great, except losing vs Bayern, otherwise I believe it could keep positive results till the end.
6567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2020, 08:30:24 PM
I have to be honest, if you put Bayern on premier league as all teams exactly the same (and remove the bottom team from premier league) I would say they do not get the title at all,
Since this will never happen, you can't be sure if they will win the league or not if it does. (imo, they will) Bayern can compete with any team in the EPL, the only team prolly better than they are in the EPL at the moment is Liverpool. I know Bayern is better than the other teams in the Bundesliga, but they are also one of the best teams in the world, and the last time they faced an English team (Chelsea) they beat them 3-0.
Well once Bayern will get used to EPL it will definitely play for the title (if this will ever happens).
Now tomorrow games are wonderful,
Bremen - Wolfsbourg, Wolfsbourg are better? Bremen home advantage?
Union - Schalke 00, hate Schalke games really, unexpected...
Augsbourg - koln, shit...
I prefer keeping my shitty prediction for myself but I think that Augsbourg, Wolfsbourg and Schalke will win. Keep saying every time that Schalke will win is like keep rolling high in dice until it is good!
6568  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy on: June 06, 2020, 06:00:03 PM
Not just India, economical regression is visible on many countries.
Yeah true, unemployment rate surged in many countries even in the biggest economy. China first but it seems to recover. USA having all time high unemployed people, some established car factories are kicking licenced employers to cut losses, many factories closed around the world and filling bankruptcy... It is a worldwide problem. For sure India is expected to suffer more than many countries since it already has so many social difficulties but also it has millions of people working abroad stuck without payments which make things just more difficult.
It is kind of lesson, hard one, so we can think otherwise about securing jobs, economy and take care of our (world) broken health system, among many other things ofc...
6569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some Interesting pump in BTC on: June 06, 2020, 05:48:58 PM
in fact, the opportunity to reach the price of $ 10,000 is still there, even very large. it's only a matter of time until the price of bitcoin reaches that price. however, I still think that the price of bitcoin can reach more than $ 15,000 this year. it's just the moment that I've been waiting for hasn't appeared yet. so, it seems like this takes time.
Waiting for $15k isn't really interesting. My moment is 10x that number.
Anyway, $15k is overestimated but definitely possible this year. The problem is consolidation. Without having a solid +$15k base, any number above $11k will not stand for long time. We need also to attract more people to join bitcoin and build with us that solid floor of +$10k, well preferably  Smiley
6570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2020, 05:40:52 PM
Leverkusen and Monchengladbach are playing the 'who's currently worse' game, Leipzig is almost sure the 3rd team in the CL next season.

Yeb Bayer Leverkusen ,  Mönchengladbach and RB Leipzig will be fighting for the 3rd and 4rd place to get a spot in the Champions League .
And i guess that Leipzig and Mönchengladbach will get them as Leverkusen not playing good the last times.
There are still some matches in the already running CL , would be nice to know how they handle that there.
They all sucked hard really lately... Next games are slightly easier for Leverkusen than M'Gladbach. Leipzig performance and results are shockingly unexpected and hard to predict.
I think that Leverkusen could secure the third or the fourth spot. M'Gladbach rank will depend from Leipzig results.

Edit: Dortmund 1-0
6571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2020, 03:56:02 PM
Nah, M'Gladbach losing the match was just unexpected. Leverkusen winning vs Bayern is a possibility although it is a weak one but definitely won't be shocking. Now Leipzig trolling and drawing/losing vs Paderborn will be shocking and I bet, if this will happen, that most Bettors will not bet again in Bundesliga games involving that team.
Damn I knew it. I felt that Leipzig will keep trolling like Schalke 0 in this weird Bundesliga games after the pause.
Damn they can't beat the last team in the table + got a bonus red card, great really. So boys, just wonder know if anyone will keep betting for those two teams?
(10 red cards after the pause/48 total)
6572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2020, 12:52:12 AM

Quite interesting, wasn't expecting Freiburg to win at all, this changes so much but also nothing at the same time. I was expecting them to win and go up 3 points on Leverkusen if they lose to Bayern and lets be honest thats a big chance. But now they lost so if Leverkusen loses that means nothing at all and they will still be tied. Normally all calculations were made like they were going to go up 3 points ahead.

What would be shocking is if Leverkusen wins tomorrow, it would be shocking all because Bayern would be the one losing to start with, whenever Bayern loses I find it shocking Cheesy But also it would be shocking because when this week started everyone was considering Gladbach 3 points ahead easily, whereas if Leverkusen wins they have a chance to be up 3 points, their job would be easier after that.

6573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 05, 2020, 09:57:02 PM
I have to stop betting on Bundesliga, just can't get anything correct after the restart. Will give it one last shot tomorrow and then ignore til the end of season if I continue in the same tone. So even without looking at the games I will play both to score on Bayer-Bayern match so you guys know to avoid that one Smiley
-snip-
I experienced your feelings since first rounds after the pause. Almost 80-90% failure expectation here especially with 100% for Schalke and Leipzig tho. The only one i know it will win and it does was Bayern and since I mentioned that, I am worried for Bayern tomorrow Tongue
6574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 05, 2020, 08:30:02 PM
Wonder know how many bet lost tonight!
Freibourg 1-0 M'Gladbach.. Will not say that it is impossible but how can this happen to a team fighting to stay in the top 4 in Bundesliga... Odds to keep their current place is good this round since Leverkusen will face Bayern but in the next round I doubt!!
6575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg: “Bitcoin will approach record high of about $20,000 this year” on: June 05, 2020, 02:50:28 PM
-snip-
We tend not to get what we expect.
Ouep, I prefer to hodl my coins until I open my eyes one day to see the bitcoin price reaching ATH, just like unexpected 2018 ones. In fact with bitcoin I already got more than what I expected, everything else is a bonus Smiley
Well 2020 is the shittiest year by far for most people in this world, I do not expect much from it..
6576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next After Halving? on: June 05, 2020, 02:38:22 PM
After halving we should see big movements on the market. There we so many hype news about it what there for sure should be some intresting movements
Huh Did you read OP post? He is talking about mining, halved reward, old mining rigs and the future of mining...

@OP, I am not following mining news but AFAIK old mining rigs are diverted to mining altcoins. Newer machines are kept for bitcoin mining with certain profits depending from its performance, energy price... Big miners aren't afraid from halving, it is the smaller miners who are marginalised.
6577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 05, 2020, 02:16:18 PM
From this detail, I think Inter has quite big chance to win the tournament since they are in full team and ofc, I dont want to see Juventus win everything in Italy lol.

As Juventus' supported I strongly disagree  Grin.
Juve will have an easier game because in the 1st game they drew 1-1 in Milan (even if Milan robbed but who cares) and as we know goal on transfer counts as 2 in case of a draw.

Inter will have his chance because the "home factor" without fans at the stadium is waaaaaaaay lower.
Conditions before and after the pause may vary. Home advantage isn't that solid as before, big teams may fall in some easy games and so on.
Better to see how things are going on in the first minutes to have a better idea about how the game will end  Wink
6578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: June 04, 2020, 08:33:18 PM
Right, there is strong support around $9500, so we're glad to see that the price didn't go down that much after breaching $10k a few days ago. I guess people are still "embroidered" on that 5 digits and they want it to see BTC hitting that again and staying for good. But it is that the case, if will continue to go for another bumpy ride to be able to reach $10k or even higher targets.

And unless there's no news to FOMO, It will be very difficult to hit that $10k without correction along the way. Next target should be $9900 at least.

More good news gotta happen to push things up to over the 10K barrier. How I missed the pump craze.
The overall trending is positive after the short drop. The bitcoin price right now is $9793 / +1.9%. If it didn't jump to 5 digits in the next 24 hours then I am expecting it to stick in $9k for a while.
6579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘No Message Was Signed’: Craig Wright Refutes Tulip Trust Fabrication on: June 04, 2020, 08:07:34 PM
When we watch a movie, no matter how good the movie is, we always know that the movie will come to an end, we just wonder what the end of the movie will be like: "we are curious if the movie will have a good ending or not". In the case of Faketoshi I don't know if this story will ever end, I wonder if the real satoshi reads these news and how will the reaction of the real satoshi be?
Nah Craig Fake News Wright will end trolling once he will launch "Bitcoin CW" also know as Craig Wright bullshit edition. Once it will hole-rocketing, he will end his trolling.
6580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 04, 2020, 10:41:25 AM
Small update about coppa Italia.

The government has given the go-ahead for the derogation on the advance of the Italian Cup.
I remind you that in Italy it would be forbidden to practice professional sports competitions before June 14, the semifinals are scheduled for June 12-13.
This does not mean that the Italian Cup will be officially played but that we are on way to confirm the date.
The main problem is to convince all teams to accept this schedule. Having one team refusing to play with the proposed schedule means simply that the Cup will be delay at the end of Serie A. Anything new about that?
