6561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: September 11, 2017, 12:21:52 PM
@GOT fans. Suggest me sources of information and spoilers for season 8. It will be a very long wait before we can watch it again but I would like to continue to maintain this thread and keep posting news and other progress made by HBO and the producers.
There are indeed leaks for the upcoming season 8 but according to reports, all of them are fake but without doubt it was really good reading them though, there was lots of deaths in the main characters and there wasn't any Azhor Ahai as a matter of fact.

I hope the wait is worth it and that they make season 8 the best of all seasons.
Yeah, they even took some extra time for Season 7 but tbh it was a little disappointing, the writing was not on point. Yes there were some great action scenes but other than that there wasn't much this season, I'm assuming this is because they don't have GRRM's books to adapt from anymore. I hope they make good use of this time and probably hire some better writers.

The leaks differ every now and then so i'm.noy sure which is legit ans which is just trolling. I'd rather just rewatch the entire season 1 to 7 if i miss the show than search for leaks hat aren't legitimate. There won't probably any until season 8 starts
6562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: September 11, 2017, 12:12:36 PM
After I won 0.17 BTC in a poker tournament this summer, which was the biggest win my life btw, I spent half of it on taking my wife to different nice restaurants. It was a great time. I have never won nothing even close to that amount, neither before nor after, because in a tournament like that there's a huge buy-in and I don't do that, I don't play with money I can't afford to lose. The ticket was given me for free, that's why I had that opportunity.

There's.nothing better really than treating people you care about and making them happy along with yourself. I also make it a point to share with my loved ones and friends my winnings if inget lucky enough
6563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Posting/Sharing gambling related topics & news in facebook on: September 11, 2017, 10:35:05 AM
I don't. I'm not exactly a hardcore gambler and it doesn't hold a very important part of my time. If at the very least time that i gamble, its usually by myself and i don't brag about it to anyone.
6564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Casinos Are There in Your Country? on: September 11, 2017, 10:32:37 AM
I don't exactly know the right number but i believe it's less than 7 casinos in total. My country is small and economic state of the people is so average. Only few rich people go to these casinos the rest of us don't.
Casinos are not allowed in my country, at least any that I have heard of. Gamblers of my country either do sports betting or become a member of gambling sites. If you have internet, you have whole world in your hands. People utilize this facility a lot.
Same here, bro. Casinos are not allowed in my country as well. There are no casinos found legally anywhere in my country. There are banned by the state and anyone who is found guilty in this regard is punished by the mighty court and I am glad at least people here don’t die because of this disease.

I think even if gambling is banned in some countries, you can't really regulate the people especially if they really want to gamble. Online gambling made sure of that. Though i don't think regular citizens like us would be able to exactly say how many casinos are there in a certain country. In mine, where it's considered as a high money generating industry,.it's even supported by the government
6565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustration in betting. on: September 11, 2017, 10:28:01 AM
It's natural to be frustrated when things aren't going your way Sad

Yeah.. perhaps very rich people will not be frustrated as we are when they lose in gambling. Compared to small time gamblers like me I would say I would be furious when luck is not at my side and will take away my money in gambling. Some rich people they only do gamble for their own entertainment.

Rich people still get frustrated when they lose. It's natural to feel.that way. It's even more frustating if you're gambling with a big amount or an amount that will have a big effect in your financial status
6566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Different betting strategies for dice games or similar on: September 11, 2017, 10:10:25 AM
Dice is so random that strategies are proven not to work. I've tried some and they always failed, especially martingale in any of its variations.
It's a lot of fun to try though, because when you think about a new strategy you're always positive and you think it has to work, but then you try it out and fail Cheesy

Dice isn't supposed to be though of like other games. For games such as dice, which doesn't give the player any chance at all to affect the outcomes, your strategy should.come beforenyou make the rolll and not on how to get a positive result
6567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: September 11, 2017, 10:06:16 AM
The game is over, there is no need to bump this thread anymore. (Unless we see a rematch.)
Mayweather was the favorite and won the game. We didn't see any surprise. He beats McGregor's ass and made 50-0.
It's time for him to retire, he's too old now.
There would never be a rematch in my opinion because Mayweather doesn't need it anymore and that match made him lots of money and it's just one game for him. It was obvious that he would win knowing that he's 49-0 before the match happened and probably he wanted to make his 50th match to be an amazing one or a unique one and that's what he did.

I think he's just toiling with the minds of the rest of us in the world. He's making serious market from us by promoting dull games with trash talk so he can milk us and he's succeeded in a number of times that's why he will not go for a rematch because they won't sell so he will probably look for another trash talker and they'd hype a new fight perhaps.
I thought about that too, I just think he doesn't need to earn more money with his fights and it's just going to be upright scripted if you ask me. 50 - 0 is already an awesome number for him to be in the real retirement stage, he wouldn't have another match anymore. He doesn't even need the money nonetheless, Mayweather has all the material things at his disposal.

He's done. This fight is done and a rematch is very unlikely. Connor should stay away from boxing and shouldn't juggle between ghe two contact sports he's tried. Very few excelled in any two sport. Even michael jordan realized this after his short stint as a baseball player
6568  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: September 11, 2017, 10:03:30 AM
Unfortunately, I never won the jackpot, but I'd really like.I can say that this is my dream. I hope I will win someday.

The possibility of hitting a jackpot in any game is low and most of us here won't be that fortunate in our lifetimes. For someone to be as lucky as that, i think you have to be destined for it. You can't will yourself to win because it's never in any player's control
6569  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: September 11, 2017, 09:59:35 AM
I'm not addicted to gambling because i know how to manage my eargerness to do gambling. I know the limitations that i prepare for myself in gambling so i can easily adjust myself for the worse to worst cases in gambling like being addicted to it and spending too much money in gambling.

Now every gamble are very conscious about addiction. Before some years ago, when people play gambling in real casinos, then i have seen a lot of people have addiction in gambling.
But now i see mostly new generation are educated and they know their limit and also know bad effect of addiction in their life.
May be it is a reason that now i see every new gamble said that he is not addicted in gambling and same here in myself i am not addicted gamble.

not really true, nothing changed i guess. those people who get trapped in gambling addiction still a lot more than those people who really know the limit and gamble responsibly like a wise man . it is still rare people who did not get addicted even though gamble regularly.

it is just the matter of gambling nature itself, addictive and now or later it will remain the same.

With the emerge of internet and cryptocurrency, the number of people who got involved in gambling industry become higher. It is so easy to access gambling places nowadays than before. And regarding addiction, this type of behavor will remain the same from time to time.

You have a good point raised there dude. Previously if you want to gamble, yoy have to go to a casino, and you have to exert extra effort and becoming addicted would mean you have to frequent these places which isn't really easy for some people. Online gambling brought it to the people so the precious requirements didn't have to me met anymore for you to gamble. It can be accesses pretty much amytime you want
6570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: September 11, 2017, 09:55:05 AM
I usually do gamble with bitcoin because nowadays altcoins seems to fluctuate ever single time thus the price is not so stable compared to bitcoin. I think it is disadvantage when price is not stable. So to be safe and precise i go with bitcoin
You are right, but Bitcoin price is also fluctuating so I don't think that is a very big difference if we use our Bitcoin or our altcoins to Gamble. Personally I never played with other altcoins because I believe too much in Bitcoin and I like to play only with it.
if the price of the bitcoin is not mattered for you, then you can play with bitcoin. All casinos will accept this and no need to pay for an extra charge to convert your bitcoins to altcoins and altcoins to BTC. Why people prefer to play with altcoins means the price of BTC is high. They can not afford that loss.

Aside from leftover altcoins from trades, i think in general, most people who gamble with crypto use bitcoin. It isn't that hard to see since btc is the most accepted among cryptocurrencies.
6571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: September 10, 2017, 04:08:10 PM
Honestly there is no way for help those who have this problem, that's why we always tell to other people better not to loan money for gambling because you will be in problem. maybe the only way for you to keep alive, easy never think if you had lose much money in gambling

Well the last thing you wanna do if you're having all sorts of problem is to gamble. People have commited suicides and crimes that had severe results when they resort to gambling for a solution.
6572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: September 10, 2017, 04:05:43 PM
Land casinos are only good if you go there once in a while otherwise online casinos are very convenient and easy to access with some privacy at least. I have visited some when I was on vacations otherwise I dont find it that cool to play there.
Online casinos are still the best choice compared to real casino land, we need special access to go to the casino ground, whereas with online casinos we can access it anytime and anywhere, with our identity being anonymous, it becomes one of the best possible choice for the middle class gamblers
of course in land casinos, there are a lot of rules and regulations. And we have to show our identity, and we must buy some coins. But in online no one will ask who you are and how much you are invested in playing. We can play from anywhere and anytime. Here no limit and no rules and no regulations. Everthing will be in our control except for our game result.

Well there are still people like me who prefer to enjoy the experience and ambiance you've felt before online gambling was introduced. Yes it's expensive and would require effort in travelling to the location but for me it's well worth it
6573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 10, 2017, 04:01:27 PM
So does this factor affect how you gamble?

If prices go up, do you lower you bets? For example, you normally bet 0.001 per bet, do you lower it to 0.0001 per bet?

If prices go down, do you place higher bets? For example, you normally bet 0.001 per bet, do you place higher bets like 0.01 per bet?

No, my gambling strategy doesn't change with the fluctuations in the USD/BTC exchange rates. I manage my bitcoin bankroll in terms of bitcoin only and I don't think about its conversion rates. I determine the amount of my daily gambling budget based on a percentage of my bankroll and I play at the stakes determined by that budget. The results are the same either way ---> 10% of $100 is the same as 10% of $100 worth of bitcoin ---> it makes no difference as long as the two quantities aren't unnecessarily mixed up in the process.
Sometimes it makes me think that it gets too expensive to play since btc rises in value and I may consider saving that use it for playing but sometimes we can't really stop ourselves so still give ourselves a chance to play.

Well of course it will.come to youe mind when you gamble but i agree, it won't really matter for hardcore gamblers because the price isn't important but sating their want for gambling. If you're keeping a capital of btc in your wallet, you're pretty much gambling with the same amount
6574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: September 10, 2017, 03:58:59 PM
if you are already addicted you will definitely be greedy. one to control it is by determining the maximum limit every day when we gambling. lest we cross the boundary so we can get out of control

Indeed mate.. learn to control yourself by also controlling your emotions and feelings. If you think you can do these things to yourself then you can control not to be greedy in gambling. Just limit yourself every time you have a gambling activity.

Those who are addicted gamblers cannot control their habits and thats why they are addicts. If they could control their play then they may have had a chance to stop the addiction slowly. Thus one must try to understand that the jackpots and big wins in gambling are only made to stimulate the potential addict in every human being, since we all dream of becoming millionaires and can willing to fall into our greed.

When you want to earn money without doing hard work then can easily addict to these games. These addicted gamblers also can control themselves if they decide to do it. But most of these addicted people don't want to stop it and that's why they never find ways to stop gambling. If you can't control then always deposit only small amount to play the games then you can minimise the losses.
No i don't agree with you, how if we are lose in shortly because we only deposit a little amount, im sure some of gambler will made another deposit again because you want to win. and i think that's way can't use for control our addicted to gambling.

It can be controlled. People simply don't want to control greed. With what you said for example, if you lost a small amount you'll have a choice of whether to leave or deposit again. It's really quick to just leave without thinking of anything. The problem is that sometimes we don't want to leave. We tell ourselves that we've had enough but we don't want to do something about it because we want to continue.
6575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: September 10, 2017, 03:55:39 PM
The winning i achieved from gambling isn't always big, and vice versa. So, i feel nothing. Even when i'm losing, i am just get annoyed for a few minutes then enjoy time with other doing. Because, i gave limit to amount of money i risked when gambling.

Well for me, winning is still winning no matter how much you've won. So there's the same feeling when you see your bet made it. Of course  the elation would be aplified several notches if you win a huge jackpot.
6576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: September 10, 2017, 03:53:59 PM
I don't really gamble slots online actually no live also. I like blackjack funniest game to gamble in the world.
its hard playing with luck and that's how slot works unlike some other gambling games which you can use some mathematical or
some analytic idea though its still not guarantee that it will work and still a game of chances,.

I don't think slots are meant to actually be analyzed. It's something that you have fun with knowing that the results would not be in your hands and whatever you do won't have any effect in the outcome. Personally i don't like it that much as well as it bores me to death.
6577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: September 10, 2017, 03:51:40 PM
With due respect sir. I think gambling has nothing to do with your superstition. When you gamble in order for you to win is that you should be smart and wise in playing but of you lose accept because not everytime we win. You yourself is making your luck and never your superstition.

If he believes that gambling is associated with superstitions or the effects of it can be affected by believing those things, let them believe with it. We just need to respect them so that we will be respected too though we know that there is nothing to be affected with our own belief if they are real or not.

Main thing is believe if you are believing something then it will happen if you are not reliving something then it will not happen so that enough from me.

If it works for believers, we can't persuade them that it's nonsense. Sometimes things happen that would make it seem that their superstition really affected the results of their gamble. Good for them if that's the case and we have to respect them and their beliefs
6578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: September 10, 2017, 03:49:33 PM
I really like the Thunder giving a surprise in the Western Conference, PG13 and the MVP together are going to be a problem. Just like the Rockets, The beard + CP3 together is a letal combination.
And in the eastern conference the Celtics will fall in the finals againts Lebron, Kyrie will regret leaving them, and if the cavs manage to get Cousins like the rumors say then they are going to a huge issue for Golden State.

With Cousin's attitude? That's going to be a problem.

And no, Kyrie won't regret leaving them because he's a franchise player now.
for sure it will be a new home for kyrie and even things will be so hard for him to taste again the ring he will definitely choose that, because he wanted to be
the main man of his team, and for sure Celtics will give him some good commanding role. let see how kyrie will bring this semi finalist team to its new level.
Since Irving is very hot topic in this thread, I suggest to create a poll just to let us know if what team has really benefit the trade.
Would it be the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Boston Celtics? Personally I don't hate Kyrie Irving but I would cast my vote for the cavaliers since they have 3 good players in exchange of Irving.

I agree. And i think more will agree that boston sacrificed perhaps more than what's necessart just to acquire kyrie. Isaiah's gonna get better and the team along with him and we've all seen it last season. I don't think kyrie can take them to a better finish next season
6579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao vs. Horn - REMATCH! on: September 10, 2017, 03:46:49 PM
Is there any confirmation of a rematch or this is an speculation thread?

A rematch could be a success when it comes to PPV, mainly because if Pacquiao fucks up again and doesn't clearly win over Horn, his career is pretty much over at that point. I mean Horn started boxing professionally at age 18 and he's like a piano teacher or something, this is not the typical young lion that started boxing since age 6 trained by professionals, yet he managed to win Pacquiao, so either he is really good or Pacquiao is really out of shape and as lost its touch and needs to retire.

And I don't think Pacman got robbed, I think Horn did enough to win a split decision.

Are you kidding me bro? Did you take a look at the stats of the whole match? Horn is missing a lot of punches. Paquiao did a lot of damage to Horn. If you look at the face of Horn after the fight. Horn just got lucky because Paquiao is very tired at the 9th round. Actually it should be stopped by the referee because Horn is responding to punches that manny are being thrown. That's why the commentator lashes out because of that disgusting decision.

Im saying that the fight was not that clearly one sided as some make it to be. Horn did fuck up Pacquiao pretty good in the late rounds and scored a lot of points. Pacquiao throws a lot of punches that don't really count, his volume of punching is really high but not that accurate.

I need to watch the fight again because I dont really remember it now but from watching it live it didn't seem like an outrageous robbery for Pacman in my book.

You certainly need to watch the fight again because you didn't consider the fight was a controversial for certain Filipinos, that they had rigged the fight but 2 of the judges score the book in favor of horn, well even I don't believe the score board but I think horn has the upper hand getting much of the rounds and because he has the farther reach than Pacquiao and being younger than him he's showing the heart of a champion. He took Pacquiao’s best shots, refused to fall, and came back swinging, but wish there could be another rematch to really prove that there is no controversy with the fight.

I don't think it matters anymore though. Pacquiao's not really that much interesed in it. The whole world watched the first fight and majority have the same conclusion of who won, even the experts. Pacquiao doesn't have much to gain if he agrees to a rematch
6580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: September 10, 2017, 03:44:16 PM
I voted poker but that is mainly because the other options you listed are boring to me to play.

I've played poker for years and enjoy the strategy behind it.

Me too. All these other games are pretty much a waste of money. Poker seems a whole lot different and i think a lot of people will agree with us. It tests not only your luck but your decisions making and how you react to different situations
