Up very late tonight doing some testing for version 2 of the hardware. I hope to have some positive news to post soon which is in a completely different direction of anything I've mentioned so far for them

We will begin working on a complete visual overhaul of the QT this weekend. No ETA on release, yet

To start playing trivia, which pays out in BALLS, click the Chat tab in the Qt, then type !start to begin the game!

Many people used MMXIV to purchase our staking hardware
6587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Maieuticoin | HARDWARE | 2014% PoS | World's Highest Staking Percentage | on: December 19, 2014, 09:16:30 AM

I'll keep an eye out for when batch two goes on sale.. maybe I missed it but it seemed the first batch wasn't really advertised or at least promoted in any way.. I guess when I hear it sold out it means it probably didn't need much but I felt I didn't get a chance to even get one because the info in the op didn't have updated info about the stage of development the unit.. hope that will change when it becomes available again

Next round will be louder. The pre-orders weren't meant to be too widespread
6588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Snowballs | 1000% Proof of Stake | Good Liquidity | Staking Hardware | on: December 19, 2014, 08:08:42 AM
Added a Mac wallet to this build. Basically, we just added IRC to the client. Now you can play trivia from the QT and earn free BALLS for every correct answer!

Not only is this a great incentive to hang out with the 50 people already in the channel, but it also gives you guys a direct line of communication to both myself for BALLS and MMXIV, as well as ThePeePs, who runs and operates both multipools. Enjoy and good luck!

EDIT: Resetting the scores on the trivia bot right now. According to drew, who runs the tip bots, he had an issue with HYP earlier, so all bots are down for maintenance. I will tip your score once it comes back if you play prior to its return

I'll have some nice charts to post tonight. Will show you guys that if you have been listening to me and using the coin how it was meant to be used (staking it), how much better off you are since I was banned

I'll do these right before I go to bed. Working on a client update to the Christmas wallet right now so I can get the trivia bot back into IRC

Apparently drew's tipbot had some HYP stolen so he has all of them down for now, but I will backpay anyone that plays trivia before it's back in the channel, so don't worry about that

6595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [iGotScams] BALLS premine scam on: December 03, 2014, 04:46:14 PM
Is that why your coins fork on accident and none of mine have forked, broken, or folded to an attack?

More Lie from scamguy... fork not long ago, and admits to his own faults

Maieuticoin 1.0.3

Many changes in this client; too many, in fact, to list in separate lines. We basically took another coin, adapted everything into Maieuticoin, then did some GUI upgrades of our own. You will require reindexing the first time you open this client. This will automatically begin when it is run for the first time. Do not be alarmed. Your balance will change during reindexing, and may start at 0. It will return to where it is supposed to be by the time the reindexing has completed. Reindexing could be slow, but it is worth it to ensure that all blocks are valid

  • Coin control has been added
  • Graph added to QT Interface
  • Many performance enhancements
  • Smoother transition through old blocks
  • Network data handled more efficiently

since updating to 1.03 getting 90% orphans from my stake  Shocked

Everytime when I want to update blockchain wallet says

"Assertion failed"
kernel error
blah blah.

Solutions......

I'm seeing 5-6 orphans per valid stake also (since upgrading).

Looks like M-coin trading is disabled on Bittrex.

Sorry about this. I updated the checkpoint server to the newest version, which has since been reverted back to 1.0.2, the same version exchanges, multipool, and the Snowball are running on for a more lightweight client. The fault is completely mine. Thankfully it does not affect balances or anything like that

Wasn't a fork; it was a bad checkpoint from a shitty version of coin control, which was fixed within an hour. Coin wasn't broken at all, just halted trading as a warning. Coin worked just fine through a bad checkpoint, just triggered exchange flags. Nice example, though. Incoming personal insults in 3, 2, 1.........

Hi folks!

To dev;

We have passed block 94000 with good margin and the price wont budge, its still very, very low.

1. What is the immediate short-term plan for increasing the price?
2. Will the dev team start a buy rally to force price upwards, and will that happen soon?
3. Do the dev team have monetary reserves in form of BTC or cash to buy BTC, to start such an buy rally?

This post was made only several hours after hitting that block. Obviously it won't respond right away

1) We are long term stakers. None of us care about the day to day price

2) I don't discuss my personal trading

3) I have plenty to use if I want to

4) No, I'm not using my own money to buy coins to destroy. That's a bad idea
6597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [iGotScams] BALLS premine scam on: December 03, 2014, 05:55:12 AM
TIX was fair, don't lie; it's a year long whine so I'm over your tears about it. The algorithm is scrypt-jane, though, so it's not comparable at all with varying n's

That's not the only place difficulty adjustments are calculated, mudda...however, you are proving that you can do nothing but change one or two lines and clone a bunch of shit without actually taking the time to understand how everything really works. You are showing your amateur card. You sure you wanna go down this road with me again? I've stepped my personal game up in the last year or so and it looks like you have fallen very far behind now

Man...it really is tough to check the explorer and see it adjusted every block  Roll Eyes

In case you are too dense to figure it out, difficulty is the 3.5's. Don't forget this had over 800 Terahash on it for several days. Many blocks were being found per second on very reputable pools. Do I really need to get more unaffiliated, trustworthy forum members and pool ops that were there at launch to come in here and vouch for the coin's fairness?

So my "solo instamine" was with blocks at significantly higher difficulty to sync initial nodes up and get a few checkpoints in. This is what someone who knows what they are doing to launch a fair coin that won't break does. Just because you aren't used to legitimacy around here doesn't mean those who do it right are in the wrong

Just putting this on the newest page so it doesn't seem like I haven't responded

Thankyou for once again proving your lack of knowledge.

Instamine can be fixed, post launch to start with a higher diff. There is zero need to checkpoint a fair launch coin prior to launch.

Once again instead of a fair launch without any blocks is very easy and well within your knowledge base and skill set. The fact you checkpointed the chain is a 100% clear indication that you didn't want your instamined blocks lost to a bigger and longer chain. There is no other justification other than to secure your instamine.

Argue and post all the bullshit you want but checkpointing on a fair launch is not two words you can use together. Fair launch would go to the longest chain, not your instamined checkpointed chain.

Is that why your coins fork on accident and none of mine have forked, broken, or folded to an attack?

There was over 800 Terahash mining BALLS with several blocks per second and no forks. I launched it perfectly

Block time has not changed at all. There have been over 1000 blocks since the fork kicked in yesterday so the timing is exactly the same at roughly 720 blocks per day
OK. Is there something I need to do to speed things up? Why the disparity in confirmation times for mint-by-stakes from 4 hours prior? Isn't 2 confirms in 12 hours for my transfer from Bittrex to my wallet extremely slow?

Yes, it is, but that makes no sense as blocks are being found every few minutes
Got my multipool payout at 14:37. Now 7 hours later and still at 0 of 6 confirmations.
My first mint-by-stake from Dec 1 is at 85 confirmations.
Am I the only one?

I'm having no issues. Just withdrew from Bittrex with no problem
